In my experience, as an exercise, it's very intimidating.

It's like ripping your arms off.

in order to strike the device attached at the end of the rope.

I was using my body weight, which made my body shake.

And as I kept whipping the ropes, the momentum kept pulling me forward.

[Sung-bin] It was extremely challenging. I'd never done this before,

so I was surprised at how heavy the ropes were.

I didn't know how long it would take for my body to start feeling the strain,

so I wasn't sure how to pace myself.

[Yushin] Let's go, faster!

[Soichi] Since I was the first one on the ropes,

I felt like the pressure was on me to set us up for success.

So I jumped. I dove right in. My arms were flying as fast as they could.

[Dong-hyun] He's getting tired.

[Sung-bin] As soon as I hit the halfway point,

it felt like my arms were completely detached from my body.

[Lkhagva-Ochir] My biceps were completely destroyed.

So, to try and compensate,

I started using my shoulders and swinging the ropes simultaneously.

[Eloni] Slower, but it gives my arms a rest

to rip in back to the single-arm technique.

Itoi. They're all doing this.

You might want to do that too if you're burning out. But wait until then.

I wanted to help, but all I could do on the sidelines

was analyze the other teams and try to share anything I found useful.

It was a frustrating position to be in.
