[Mysterious Lotus Casebook]

[Episode 35]

I didn't expect the karmic mother bugs we've been searching

for such a long time are in the Royal Palace.

It saves me some trouble.

Father.

Are you sure you didn't see it wrong?

The pattern on the tattooed cyan human skin

is completely different from the map of the Royal Palace.

In the early stage of the Great Xi Dynasty,

the palace of the previous dynasty was still used.

So it has been expanded and renovated many times over the past century.

The current palace

is indeed very different from what it was a hundred years ago.

So this human skin means

the mother bugs are in the Royal Palace.

If so,

Shan Gudao's target must be the Royal Palace, too.

I have the royal blood

of Nanyin's and the present dynasty's imperial family.

What I want is

something that's supposed to be mine in the first place.

Could his searching for karmic bugs

be with the aim of killing His Majesty?

Lord Fang.

Could you please report to His Majesty

and ask Imperial City Division to make sure the palace is heavily guarded?

This...

Mr. Li.

Without solid evidence,

His Majesty won't believe it.

His Majesty will even be mad

and consider it as a rumor instead.

Something like this happened many years ago.

It caused a great fuss in the whole country.

But it turned out to be nothing after investigation.

But this is a big deal.

Is there no other way?

I know someone from the Imperial City Division.

I can only write a letter to the Imperial City Division in private,

and ask them to keep an eye on it secretly.

Lord Fang.

Is there a way you can send me into the palace?

I must find the karmic mother bugs

before Shan Gudao does

and stop him.

Young Master.

Has the spy found out

what I asked him to investigate the other day?

The spy is back.

The Styx Flower can indeed help people rebuild their body

and have all poisons detoxicated.

In that case,

Li Lianhua can be saved.

According to the spy,

there are two kinds of leaves on one Styx Flower, Yin and Yang.

The Yin leaf can repair the meridians,

which can fill the body with Genuine Qi instantly,

but the person will die due to organ explosion very soon.

Only if the person eats Yin and Yang leaves together can he be saved.

Eating Yin and Yang leaves together?

Besides,

the Jinyuan Alliance has also been looking for the whereabouts of the Styx Flower.

Because the Yang leaf of the Styx Flower is extremely masculine and strong,

which exactly matches

the Windy Poplar Di Feisheng has been practicing.

Di Feisheng wants to use the Yang leaf

to break through the highest level of Windy Poplar.

Di Feisheng...

So have you found the whereabouts of the Styx Flower?

Mr. Li.

Xiaobao asked us to make sure

you stay in Tianji Mountain Manor

and wait for him to find the medicine for you.

He also asked us to tell you that

there's nothing in this world that can't be done without you.

So you must keep yourself alive.

Do you know

where he went?

He only said

he went to find the medicine for you.

We don't know

where he went exactly.

Mr. Li.

Fang Xiaobao knows what he's doing.

Just stay here and wait for him to come back.

I appreciate your kindness.

But this is an emergency.

I need to go to the capital immediately.

I'm afraid

Fang Xiaobao will blame you.

I'll explain to him

later.

Mr. Li.

I know

people like you

have their own persistence and choices.

Even if Tianji Mountain Manor forces you

to stay today,

the matter in your heart is unsolved,

and the burden is still on your shoulders.

You will blame yourself downheartedly

and regret in the future.

I, He Xiaohui, hate to see heroes regret what they fail to achieve.

So, I won't stop you.

Thank you.

Lord Fang.

How is the thing I requested before going?

Alright.

I'll send a letter to my subordinates in the capital.

There will be someone making arrangements for you

when you arrive in the capital.

Thank you, My Lord.

I have official duty I need to fulfill.

I can't go to the capital for now

without the imperial order.

Mr. Li.

Be careful.

Mr. Li.

Don't worry.

Tianji Mountain Manor will never

reveal your identity.

Goodbye.

Li.

I'll see you off.

No need.

See you.

Cheer up.

No mistake is allowed in the Sword Room.

Yes.

Stop fighting.

You've made it in here.

It means you are quite capable.

You are indeed my son.

It may be easy to get in the Wansheng Clan,

but it'll be extra difficult

if you want to get out.

Don't stand there.

Sit down and have a drink with me.

So you want the Styx Flower

to save Li Xiangyi?

You used to be close fellow apprentices.

You used to practice martial arts

and travel the martial world together.

How could you put him in the ground

for your own ambition?

Ambition?

Everything should be mine in the first place.

But you

called it ambition.

Back then,

Li Xiangyi always wanted to oppress me.

And now,

even my own son

takes his side.

Just for these illusory things,

you'd rather drive your fellows of Sigu Sect up the wall,

kill your own master,

instigate dissension and disrupt this peaceful and prosperous world?

What does this peaceful and prosperous world have to do with me?

What I want

is a peaceful and prosperous world that belongs to me, Shan Gudao.

And you. You are my own son.

You have my blood.

I hope you can join with me

in this ambitious cause.

Everything that I have in the future

will be yours.

I don't agree with what you do.

And I won't stand by your side.

But you

are always my biological father.

I owe you my life.

This toast

is to you.

After I kowtow to you today,

your kindness will be repaid.

From now on,

we'll owe each other nothing.

Good.

Since you are so heartless,

don't blame me.

There won't be anything I can't bear to do.

Master.

You learned the Qianjun Guiyuan Formation

from Qi Mushan, and you perfected it.

No one has made it out alive.

This is his own choice.

He's my only family in the world.

I've always been thinking of this.

But what about him?

Not only he sides with outsiders,

but he also goes against me all along.

If he can't make it out of this formation,

it's fate.

I'm not the one to blame.

What is this place?

Since this formation has such a clever design,

it must be controlled by a mechanism.

I must find the core of the mechanism as soon as possible

and defeat the hallucination.

That's right.

It's hallucination.

Bravo!

[Nanshan Hall]

I heard that they hired [Nanshan Hall]

[Nanshan Hall]

a famous miracle-working physician. [Nanshan Hall]

[Nanshan Hall]

He can cure any disease. [Nanshan Hall]

[Nanshan Hall]

You bet.

I have a distant brother

working as a cook in Tiejia Sect.

Their young master died,

and this miracle-working physician resurrected him.

He's this good?

Yes.

Look at the waiting line.

He must be good.

Diagnose through a thread.

Miracle-working physician.

He's really amazing.

Physician Li.

Minister Fang has ordered me to spread the word

to promote your medical skills in the capital, Physician Li.

You've really impressed the whole capital city these days.

I believe there will be news from the imperial palace soon.

Lord Fang is really modest about his capabilities.

Here comes the imperial edict!

[Eunuch Wang]

Physician Li.

We're approaching the inner palace.

We're not far from the Noble Lady's palace.

When we arrive,

you'll join the consultation for the Noble Lady with the other doctors.

Eunuch Wang.

May I ask which Noble Lady I'll be treating?

Physician Li, just come with me.

[Zhaohua Palace]

Everyone.

This is

Physician Li, who has been famous in the capital recently.

Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you.

Please wait a little longer.

When the Imperial Preceptor of Xibei arrives,

you can go in together for consultation.

Eunuch Wang,

may I ask who the Imperial Preceptor of Xibei is,

and why we are waiting for him?

The Imperial Preceptor of Xibei is highly skilled in occult practices.

He's highly respected by the Empress Dowager.

He finally made a visit to Great Xi.

Of course, he's our guest.

It's our honor to have a consultation with the Imperial Preceptor

for the Noble Lady's treatment.

I see.

The Imperial Preceptor of Xibei is here!

It's Demon Monk.

Shan Gudao is eager to find the karmic mother bugs.

It seems that the mother bugs are indeed inside the Royal Palace.

Demon Monk

has managed to get Empress Dowager's approval.

I must take care of him first.

Imperial Preceptor.

We've been waiting for you for a while.

Since you are here,

the consultation starts now.

Hold on.

Can anyone, even a rat, enter

Great Xi's Royal Palace

at will?

Imperial Preceptor, there may be some misunderstanding.

Physician Li is a famous miracle-working physician in the capital.

The Empress Dowager issued an order to invite him here.

His name is Li Lianhua.

He's been conning people in the name of miracle-working physician

for a long time.

You want me to have the consultation with him today.

Are you looking down on me

or the State of Xibei?

Why does the Imperial Preceptor of Xibei from so far away

care so much about a wandering physician?

Eunuch Wang.

Have you checked his pass?

Can you check it carefully?

Both of you

are distinguished guests invited by Empress Dowager.

If there's any grudge from the past,

could you please put it on hold for the moment,

for the sake of Empress Dowager?

Treating the Noble Lady is more important.

There's no way I'll have the consultation

with a rat like him.

If he stays,

I shall take my leave.

Take care.

Imperial Preceptor.

Please don’t make things difficult for me.

Since only one of us can stay,

why don't we

make a bet to see

who's going to be the one to stay?

What do you think?

What do you want to bet on?

Imperial Preceptor, you're also here to treat the Noble Lady.

Why don't we bet on

who can cure the Noble Lady's illness?

Make the bet as you wish.

Do you think I'm afraid of you?

But if you lose,

you'll have committed another felony,

which is disrespecting foreign envoys.

Eunuch Wang.

Take me to see the Noble Lady.

Yes.

But...

Get out! I don't want to see anyone.

Imperial Preceptor.

Please be patient, Imperial Preceptor.

What the Noble Lady has is a strange illness.

She has rashes all over her body and has a bad temper.

[Zhaohua Palace] She has rashes all over her body and has a bad temper.

[Zhaohua Palace]

She refuses to see a doctor. [Zhaohua Palace]

She refuses to see a doctor.

Anyone who entered the palace wanting to treat her

was kicked out.

It's okay.

I'll hit her acupoints first and then treat her.

No, you can't do that.

The Noble Lady is distinguished and delicate.

You can't offend her.

How can I treat her if she refuses to see the doctor?

Are you fooling me?

Eunuch Wang.

How about I give it a try?

Mr. Li.

I learned the medical philosophy of Confucianism.

It's like how the maple leaves on Fragrant Mountain turn red in autumn.

I'm very well-mannered.

You won't make it difficult for me, Your Ladyship, right?

Come in.

Li Lianhua.

It's really you.

Why are you here?

Your Highness, long time no see.

I'm here to treat you.

Grandmother tells everyone that a Noble Lady is sick.

How do you know it's me?

I couldn't tell and didn't know it before.

However,

I saw the character "Zhao" outside the palace,

so I figured it out.

Your Highness, why do you pretend to be sick?

It's all because of Fang Duobing.

So the reason why you pretend to be sick

and refuse to see the doctor

is to ask for Empress Dowager's permission

to go out and find Fang Xiaobao, right?

You're still so smart.

You got it right at first attempt.

Unfortunately, Grandmother wouldn't allow me.

Instead, she invited a lot of famous physicians here.

Another one came once I beat one away.

I'm about to give up.

Luckily, you're here, Li Lianhua.

Go and tell them

that I need to go out of the palace for treatment.

Let’s go find Fang Duobing immediately.

Your Highness, there's no rush.

I came in the palace this time

for something important,

so I can't leave for the time being.

For case investigation?

Smart.

Recently,

some bandits have managed to sneak

in the palace.

I must catch them.

She's cured. Come in.

Your Highness.

Eunuch Wang.

Physician Li has cured my illness.

I have a good appetite.

Tell the kitchen to cook more food.

As long as you're healthy, Your Highness.

I'll go get ready.

And I'll report it to Her Majesty.

She must be happy.

Wait.

Your Highness, what else can I do for you?

I heard that someone bullied Physician Li.

I'm stupid.

I didn't know the one who was sick is Your Highness.

Sorry for my reckless behavior.

I didn't mean to bully Li Lianhua.

I just had a bet with him.

Please don't misunderstand, Your Highness.

A bet?

What's the bet?

I bet with him that

if one of us cured you first,

the other one

must leave the palace.

Then why haven't you left the palace yet, Imperial Preceptor?

Eunuch Wang.

Send the Imperial Preceptor out of the palace.

Who wants to drive my benefactor away?

-Your Majesty./N-Grandmother.

Grandmother.

Grandmother.

Your leg has recovered.

Thanks to the elixir Imperial Preceptor brought me from the Blood Realm.

I've been lying on bed

for four or five years.

Finally, I can come down and take a walk.

[Empress Dowager of Great Xi] Finally, I can come down and take a walk.

Finally, I can come down and take a walk.

Zhaoling.

Are you cured?

Yes.

Physician Li cured me.

Then why do you have to drive Imperial Preceptor away?

It's not that I wanted to drive him away.

He lost the bet himself.

A bet is a bet.

He's not a shameless dog.

Of course he has to go.

Your Majesty.

I shall take my leave.

Not so fast, Imperial Preceptor.

You must be Mr. Li.

Your Majesty.

Rise, please.

Zhaoling has been ill for more than a month.

Thanks to Mr. Li, she's cured.

I thank you on behalf of His Majesty.

You're welcome, Your Majesty.

As a doctor,

I just tried my best and did what I should do.

You're kind and skillful.

Both of you

are my benefactors.

I haven't repaid your kindness yet.

How can we say goodbye in such a hurry?

I hope you

can let go of the bet

for the sake of me, Mr. Li.

Your Majesty.

It was just a bet with the Imperial Preceptor.

Don't worry about it.

Right.

I would ask the Imperial Preceptor to stay too.

Thank you, Physician Li.

His Majesty will hold a banquet tomorrow

as a formal thank you.

Mr. Li and Imperial Preceptor, you are both invited.

Please don't refuse.

It's my great honor.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty. It's just that

it'll take some time

before Her Highness can be fully recovered.

I need to take Her Highness

to a place that's airy and ventilated in the palace

so that her meridians can be cleared.

Hope I can get your permission, Your Majesty.

Yes, Grandmother.

I still have a bit of a headache.

In that case,

we'll do as you say.

If you need anything,

just tell them.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Li Lianhua.

You said the Imperial Preceptor is a bad person.

Then why did he cure Grandmother's leg?

There's something magical called Golden Shell Snow Silkworm in the State of Xibei.

It can fix broken limbs.

It is said to be a rare treasure.

I guess the Imperial Preceptor

used this Snow Silkworm

to cure Empress Dowager.

What do they want to steal exactly?

Even at the cost of a national treasure.

The Interior Treasury?

Grandmother always says the expenses of the royal family

come from the Interior Treasury.

There must be a lot of treasures in the treasury.

How bold they are.

Li Lianhua.

You winked at me and asked me to come out here.

You've figured out how to catch them, right?

You are really smart, Your Highness.

You see.

This

is the secret code of the bandits.

It is said that

there's another symbol exactly like this in the palace.

Have you seen it, Your Highness?

No.

But the Royal Palace is huge.

It's possible that I didn't notice it.

How about this?

I'll take you to look around the palace.

We must catch all these thieves who steal from us.

OK. Thank you, Your Highness.

[Palace]

[Mysterious Lotus Casebook]

That was close.

I didn't mistake this knife as a hallucination.

What a formation of fake and real.

Could this be

Dian Daoke's Demon-Spike Sword?

Li Lianhua.

Is that symbol reliable?

We've searched the entire palace.

Is there no other clue?

It seems that

there is no other clue for now.

But, Your Highness,

did you notice anyone who's been acting weird

in the palace?

That evil old man, Xuanyuan Xiao.

What's wrong with him?

He is the Commander of the Imperial City Division.

A few days ago, he suddenly started a thorough check in the palace.

Those whose background is unclear had to leave the palace.

Many of my handmaidens were kicked out.

He seems weird to me.

Could it be Xuanyuan Xiao?

He's just being a little strict.

It's not a problem.

Nothing matches.

The sun is setting.

I'm so tired.

Your Highness.

It's getting late.

Why don't you go back and rest?

OK.

Take this.

If you get in trouble,

take it to Yuhua Gate and find the Head Guard, Dian Qiu.

He's a trusted aide from my hometown. He'll help you.

I'm leaving then.

See you, Your Highness.

Minister Fang's reminder worked.

There must have been many

Shan Gudao's spies in those who were kicked out of the palace.

That's why he could only ask Demon Monk

to enter the palace as Imperial Preceptor.

[Diecui Pavilion] to enter the palace as Imperial Preceptor.

[Diecui Pavilion]

Mr. Li, long time no see. [Diecui Pavilion]

[Diecui Pavilion]

You've only been wandering among the folks. [Diecui Pavilion]

You've only been wandering among the folks.

I didn't expect to see you here.

Lord Yang.

So you've heard

my conversation with Her Highness just now.

There's another reason

why I entered the palace this time.

But the Imperial City Division

has already known the reason.

So the warning we received

was from you, Mr. Li.

Shan Gudao has got his hands into the Royal Palace.

I have to come here and take care of it myself.

But, Lord Yang,

you work for the Supervision Bureau.

Why are you here?

My master is the Commander of the Imperial City Division.

He appointed me to the Imperial City Division a few days ago

because of your warning.

The suspects should have been sent out of the palace.

We should be safe now.

The Imperial City Division

has cleared up many spies,

but they let in such a big trouble.

The State of Xibei

has been coveting

Great Xi's territory for long.

So the aim of the Demon Monk entering the palace

is very clear.

What he wants must be related to our territory.

Please remind your master again, Lord Yang.

No need.

Master.

Master.

We are master and disciple in private.

[Commander of the Imperial City Division, Xuanyuan Xiao] We are master and disciple in private.

[Commander of the Imperial City Division, Xuanyuan Xiao]

But now we're performing our duty in the palace. [Commander of the Imperial City Division, Xuanyuan Xiao]

But now we're performing our duty in the palace.

Yes.

Greetings, Commander.

There are always dangers and threats in the palace.

If we suspect everything,

I'm afraid the Imperial City Division would have been executed for encroachment.

Unexpectedly,

the Imperial City Division

neglected its duty.

You knew the danger was near,

but you'd rather ignore it.

I spoke too much.

You worry too much, Mr. Li.

No matter what the Imperial Preceptor of Xibei's purpose is,

as long as he doesn't break the rules,

he is still the Imperial Preceptor

and His Majesty's guest.

Just like you, Mr. Li.

You entered the palace to treat illness.

Just perform your duty as a physician.

Mind your own business.

The defense in the palace is strong and solid.

Everything is under my control.

It's none of your business, quack.

Yunchun.

Send Mr. Li back to his room to rest.

My Lord.

Do you remember the Mid-Autumn night in the Royal Palace ten years ago?

It's really beautiful.

Who are you? How dare you break into the Royal Palace?

The Epiphyllum Festival really deserves its reputation.

I shall take my leave.

So you were the one who broke into the Royal Palace that night.

The man in control behind the Imperial Preceptor of Xibei

is Shan Gudao, from the Wansheng Clan.

He's the master of the powerful Wansheng Clan.

My Lord.

If you strike only after he has struck,

you'll be at a disadvantage.

So you are Li Xiangyi.

Although I haven't left the palace for decades,

I've heard of your name.

You died ten years ago.

After coming back to life ten years later,

you only knew to come in the palace and slander the Wansheng Clan and Shan Gudao.

What's your purpose?

It seems the rumors about you are true.

Wansheng Clan has been loyal these years,

working for the Imperial Court.

Shan Gudao once saved the Xuanyuan family.

He's a righteous man.

But you.

You tried to assassinate him and made him hide for ten years,

and now you're slandering him again.

Considering that you're the Empress Dowager's guest,

I won't kill you.

Don't let me get the goods on you.

Or there will be

a vacancy for you

in the prison of Imperial City Division, Sect Leader Li.

Even a master like Xuanyuan Xiao has been bribed.

Senior's game is set so deliberately.

Looks like there's only one way to stop him.

Tomorrow at the banquet,

I have to gain His Majesty's trust.

This is a family banquet to thank the Imperial Preceptor and Mr. Li.

There's no need to stand on ceremony.

Just drink as much as you want.

[Emperor of Great Xi]

Your Majesty.

The State of Great Xi

is beautiful and prosperous.

There are so many talented people here.

Not to mention how advantaged and talented you are, Your Majesty.

My first toast today

has to go to Your Majesty.

This is my blessing,

not my credit.

Thank you for your praise, Imperial Preceptor.

To Your Majesty.

My second toast is to the Empress Dowager.

Congratulations on the three blessings, Your Majesty.

Zhaoling and I are cured, which counts as two blessings.

What's the third blessing?

Half a month ago,

I discussed with Empress Dowager

about building an occult pagoda in the palace.

Everything is ready now.

As long as Your Majesty and Empress Dowager agree,

we can start the site selection and building of the pagoda today.

Mother, why do you suddenly want to build an occult pagoda?

I'm just imitating

the tradition of Emperor Guangqing

and trying to pray for more blessings to the royal family.

There's no record of

Emperor Guangqing building an occult pagoda

before giving birth to his child.

And there's no former site of an occult pagoda.

It's probably just a legend.

Mother.

Don't take it seriously.

Since it's a legend,

it could be true.

Although you're still in your prime, Your Majesty,

you only have a daughter, Zhaoling.

It's a big problem if the royal family has no male offspring.

How can I not be worried?

Fine.

Let's do it as you wish, Mother.

Order.

Order!

Occult pagoda craftsmen, come in the hall!

Greetings, Your Majesty.

Rise.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

This is the occult pagoda blueprint drawn by the craftsmen from Lanzhu.

Please take a look, Your Majesty.

It is indeed an audacious pagoda that seems appropriate and harmonious.

So you are the craftsmen recommended by the Imperial Preceptor?

Why do you

look a bit familiar to me?

Your Majesty.

I am Feng Pan, from Wansheng Clan.

I donated some money and grains during the famine in Longxi.

I was lucky to have been summoned and rewarded by Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

These are the craftsmen Imperial Perceptor asked me to hire from Lanzhu

with big money.

I'm sure Your Majesty and Empress Dowager will be satisfied.

No wonder you look so kind.

You're a hero of Great Xi.

In that case,

you can select an idle spot

in the palace to build the pagoda.

So this is Shan Gudao's plan.

In the name of building a pagoda for royal offspring,

he can take this opportunity to look for mother bugs in the palace.

Your Majesty.

I think it's a bit inappropriate.

What matters the most in the Royal Palace

is royal authority.

Wouldn't building the occult pagoda be turning the tables?

Besides, if this occult pagoda

is built outside the palace wall,

it would be more appropriate.

The space is vast.

Why does it have to be built inside the palace?

What Mr. Li said

makes sense too.

Your Majesty.

It's okay if we are building an ordinary occult pagoda.

But the occult pagoda we are building will have Luminous Sarira stored in it,

so it has to be built inside the palace.

Luminous Sarira?

The Luminous Sarira stolen during the late emperor's reign?

Exactly, Your Majesty.

We bought this treasure with heavy money

from the State of Lanzhu.

We know how important it is,

so we brought it here to present to you, Your Majesty.

Bring it to me.

What is this treasure?

Why are you so happy, Father?

This is the treasure that the late emperor valued the most.

When it was placed in the palace,

Great Xi was prosperous and free of famine and plague for ten years.

This treasure is heavily blessed.

If it's placed in the pagoda built inside the palace,

it will protect the state and the people of Great Xi

just like it did during the late emperor's reign.

The late emperor was heartbroken

when this treasure was stolen.

It's a good omen

that it comes back to us today.

Fine.

I permit you to walk around the palace and select a site

to build the audacious pagoda right away.

Place this treasure in the pagoda.

We won't let Your Majesty and Empress Dowager down.

This is so great.

Your Majesty.

The site selection and building of the pagoda is extraordinarily mysterious.

If there are too many people involved,

it may disturb the spiritual energy.

Physician Li is a distinguished guest.

Please allow him

to stay in a guest room outside the palace, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty, I know some occult practices.

Isn't it perfect if I help

the Imperial Preceptor with site selection?

Maybe I don't have to

leave the palace.

Physician Li just said

it's inappropriate to build a pagoda inside the palace.

And now you say this.

I'm afraid you're fooling His Majesty.

Of course I dare not fool His Majesty.

But I really want to help.

Imperial Preceptor is a guest from another country,

yet he thinks for Your Majesty so sincerely.

As a citizen of Great Xi,

of course I should do my part.

Mr. Li.

Since you dared to talk so ambitiously in front of His Majesty,

I'm sure you have a deep understanding

of metaphysics.

How about this?

Use your metaphysics to divine

how many jade beads there are

in my sachet.

I believe this kind of trick

is a piece of cake to you.

Why does he have to listen to you?

Giving orders in front of my father.

How rude!

It's okay.

It's not a big deal, divining the number.

However,

occult practices are psychic.

Isn't it a blasphemy

if I use it to divine the number of jade beads?

How about

I use it to divine something bigger

to show my real ability?

May I

divine and see

if there's anything bothering you lately, Your Majesty?

OK.

Mr. Li, please start your divination.

My way of divination is different.

It's called Picking-flower Hexagram.

Please pick any flower you like, Your Majesty.

The flower you picked

is yet to bloom.

It shows that it needs water.

What's been bothering Your Majesty

is related to water.

There's a drought in Yuzhou.

His Majesty has been worried about it for days.

Everyone knows that.

What Physician Li said

is just a common hoax.

That's just the beginning.

I haven't finished yet.

Please take a look.

The pistil in the bud has taken form.

It will bloom very soon today.

Congratulations, Your Majesty.

The matter you've been worried about is about to be solved.

Report!

Your Majesty.

Urgent news from Yuzhou.

Yesterday, it finally rained.
