[Hawaiian music]

[indistinctive voices talking in the background]

[Jason] What's up, El Jefe?

Ready for your vacation, buddy?

End of day, no more red shorts, no fins, no tube.

Time to kick back for seven full days.

Uh-huh. So, what are you guys gonna do with your week off?

You're looking at the top two-man team in the Maui Waterman Challenge.

Swimming, diving, rock-running and whipping them all.

-Am I right, or am I right, Elvis? -Yeah. We'll do all right.

Jase, you don't sound as sure as your partner here.

We'll do all right.

Though Zack's never been up against the Maui Watermen before.

Yo! They've never gone up against the "North Shore Shark"

and the "Hawaiian Hercules" before either.

[Sean] Jase, you never know, he may scare them out of the water.

-[Jason scoffing] -You heard the man.

Let's get over to the Center and grab a practice.

-Take it easy, guys. Good luck. -Get some rest on your time off, boss.

I'll catch you later, Zack. I gotta hook up with someone.

Hey, my man,

athletes have to put aside the pretty wahines before competition.

They drain you.

Well, like, see you in an hour?

Jason's right, Sean. You need to take some time to decompress.

[Sean sighing] Yeah, I guess you're right.

You getting off the island, going anywhere?

Well, maybe after our celebrities get their kayaks paddled in

from Hawaii Kai this afternoon, I'll think about it, all right?

[Brian laughing] Hope you do.

I'll go further down the beach and check if anyone washes up down there.

[Sean chuckling] Yeah, you do that, all right?

[Terri chuckling]

I know you can see yourself in shots like these.

I mean, this is classy stuff. I don't do beef or cheesecake.

You know, I go after subjects with character.

You know, they have beautiful bodies and faces, too, but it's all in the eyes.

See what I'm saying?

Yeah, I do.

-[Jason chuckling] -[Terri chuckling]

This stuff is amazing.

You got everyone in here.

Arnold,

Na...

...omi.

Damn.

Well, you've got beautiful windows too, Jason.

And that is what is gonna sell a billion of these calendars

and make you a big star.

Whoa, Terri, I don't-- I'm a lifeguard, you know?

I don't know anything about this whole star thing.

[Terri] I do.

Look, it's up to you, but tomorrow morning

I've got a boat chartered ready to hit gorgeous remote Hawaiian vistas

with a gorgeous Hawaiian man standing in front of them.

Yeah, that sounds cool and all.

[Jason chuckling]

It really does.

It's just, um, you see, I told this friend of mine

that I'd be in this, like, competition with him.

Normally it wouldn't be such a big deal,

it's just that he's really into it, like nuts.

Can we do this in maybe a couple of days?

If you're not there tomorrow, you're gonna lose more than a competition.

You're gonna lose a chance of a lifetime.

What's it gonna be, Jason?

On the boat or off?

A brand new life waiting for you.

[people cheering]

[tense music]

[Gary screaming]

[Sean whistling]

[girl] Help!

[girl] There's a guy out there.

[Sean panting]

[Gary] Help!

[opening theme song]

Help!

[tense music]

[Gary coughing]

[Sean panting]

It's all right, it's all right.

Take some deep breaths here.

-That's good. You'll be all right. -[Gary coughing]

You swallowed a lot of salt water,

so why don't you drink plenty of fresh water and get some rest, okay?

Yeah, you bet.

Listen, folks.

I never realized how important lifeguards were before this.

But when you're about to eat it out there, it becomes really obvious.

This guy...

This hero.

God, I don't even know your name.

It's not important. I was just doing my job.

You take care of yourself, all right?

-Excuse me. -[Gary] Hey, lifeguard! Your name, please.

[Brian] Sean Monroe.

Baywatch Hawaii. One of the best there is.

[Zack] This can't be happening, Jason. It can't.

You know why it can't, because I know you,

you're my friend and you would never ever ditch, betray

and completely screw over a friend.

You know why you wouldn't?

Because you care about commitment and deep stuff like that.

You're Hawaiian, for God's sake. Doesn't that mean anything to you?

It's a couple of races, Zack. Lighten up.

Something came up that I gotta do, that's all.

Not good enough, my man. You and I trained. We had plans.

-And I gotta change them. -[Zack scoffing]

I'm sorry, okay? Get out of my way. I'll get my stuff out of my locker.

No.

You're dumping me for a babe, 'cause she's gonna take snapshots of you?

Get serious!

She's no big-shot photographer.

You know she's just some rich tourist, man,

playing you for a memory with some hot island meat.

Would you shut up for once in your life? I said I was sorry. I meant it.

And that's all I gotta say, you understand?

Last time I checked, we weren't married, or even related,

so stop throwing your crazy-ass guilt around

before I throw you through the window!

Whoa, guys, no one's going through a window now.

We're all tired and overworked, so just cool down.

I think you guys should spend some time apart, anyway.

-That's for sure. -Fine! Go! Who cares?

We were so set on Maui.

We did even half okay, the chicks would maul us.

I was looking forward to the mauling.

[Gary] Captain Monroe?

I'm Gary Sprinkle, Channel Four News anchor

and the guy you pulled out of the deep blue this morning.

Right, how are you doing?

I'm doing good, but I'm a little frustrated.

My assistant says you won't interview for my show.

[Sean sighing] Look, man, don't take it personally.

It's just that I don't believe that a lifeguard should be singled out

for what we all do here every day.

Now, if you want to give credit to everyone and the Training Center,

that'd be great.

We could really use the publicity.

All right, maybe we'll do a feature on your Center

when I get back from my business trip on the mainland next week.

In the meantime,

I understand from your friend Brian that you start your vacation tomorrow.

That's right.

Well, I've spoken to the management at Hilton Hawaiian Village,

and they would like to offer you a week at no charge.

Whatever you need, a massage, gym privileges, food, drink, even a suite.

Well, that's a very kind offer, Gary, and thank you,

but I already live at the Hilton.

We're aware of that, but not completely gratis

in an ocean suite, right?

It's a way for them and for me to say thank you.

Again, thanks, but it's not necessary.

If you do a story on the Center that'd be really enough.

Well, suit yourself, but the offer's there for a week.

All you have to do is ask for it. Hope you take us up on it, Captain Monroe.

All right, Gary. Thanks a lot. You take care, man.

[Zack clearing his throat]

Excuse me, Capitano, but did you really understand what that man was saying?

-I did. -Let me clarify.

Food, drinks, massage, first-class service

at the heavy duty Hawaiian resort, and you said no?

Maybe you should think about taking your old friend Zack over there

for a couple of days of decadence.

You ever think of that? I mean, you can't tell me that's a bad idea.

I can. Zack, we get paid for what we do. No extras.

Sean, I've just been through a big disappointment, okay?

I need extras. Well, maybe not need. I want extras.

Just one?

[Hawaiian music]

Well, the Hawaiian Prince arrives. This certainly brightens up the morning.

[Terri chuckling] You don't look that happy, though.

Don't you have a lighting crew or anything?

I do my own lighting, setups and makeup.

Though I try to work with subjects that don't need much help in that department.

-Is that all you're worried about? -Not exactly.

Oh.

You nervous about going out to sea all alone with a tough little city girl?

Mm, I promise I'll be gentle with you.

It's not that, Terri.

I had kind of a fight with that friend of mine.

He got a little more upset than I thought and--

You think if that friend had this opportunity,

he wouldn't jump on it like a cat on a June bug?

-I thought you said you were a city girl. -Moved to the city. I'm from Tennessee.

And I can throw the accent at you anytime I want.

You're right. He would jump on it.

[Terri laughing]

Well, all right!

Kill the guilt and grab the brass ring.

You know how to drive this thing?

-You could've hired a captain. -Mm.

I told you, I always work alone.

Yeah, I can drive it.

Then let's get going.

I wanna catch the afternoon light on Moloka'i.

[imitating Elvis] Then you better cast off those lines, Momma.

[Terri laughing] Aye, aye, Captain.

[upbeat music]

Now, don't forget, all emergency and assistance calls

go through Brian and Hawaiian Lifeguards.

Waikiki may be their beach,

but I want the Training Center included in all communications.

I know the drill, Sean.

I know you do, J.D., but it's important that we keep reviewing.

Brian, do you think you could pry my obsessive-compulsive boss off me

and on to his vacation, before he pops a vessel?

Glad to help, J.D.

What? I'm not obsessive-compulsive, J.D., all right?

Concerned, helpful, interested in my work. And always right!

See you in a week, boss.

That's not a very relaxing way to spend your vacation, you know.

Yeah, you know I wouldn't even be taking a vacation

if it wasn't mandatory.

It's for a good reason.

If you don't take a break, you can burn out.

And the day and a half you took on the Big Island, doesn't count.

Yeah, yeah.

Bry, the thing is, vacations are for families, all right?

Hopping in the car, going camping, fishing.

-You do that with your family, right? -Yeah.

Look, Sean,

don't make this vacation a reminder of the family you lost.

Make it something for yourself.

I don't know how, Brian.

How about using your time off to help someone who could really use it?

[Sean chuckling]

I'll tell you one thing, the idea of being some single guy in a hotel for a week

hugging a Mai-tai doesn't really appeal to me.

Hello, doll.

I'm Captain Sean Monroe.

I believe you have a special offer for me.

[upbeat music]

[Terri] All right, uh-huh.

[Terri chuckles]

Where in God's name did you get those pecs?

Wake up the face, Jase. Come on.

All right.

Turn, quick! Come on, turn.

What is going on upstairs? I mean, don't keep me guessing.

[Terri sighing]

All right,

why don't you just sit your butt down in the sand and--

Oh, oh, wait, no, no. This is gonna better.

This is gonna be great. Maybe you can give me an intelligent look.

-You think you can pull that off? -I'll give it a try.

Ah, you're a natural, boy. You can fake anything.

Ah, come on.

I mean, maybe I can get you half submerged on this reef shelf,

the rock behind you.

Oh, great.

Got to mess with it, though.

Oh.

You're drying out on me, babe.

You gotta glisten like the water, but...

hmm, with a body like this, who needs a brain in their head, anyway?

Stuff the attitude, all right, Terri? Really pissing me off.

Oh, that's it. That's what I'm looking for.

Now sit your butt down in the water and do that.

d Respect, respectd

d R to the E-S-P-E-C-Td

[Sean knocking on the door]

Hello?

[mysterious music]

Hey! What do you think you're doing, mister?

Jimmy Confair, right?

Sean Monroe.

Brian Keaulana said you might want some help

with your sailing canoe here.

Why would I?

Well, with the sailing canoe race coming up,

he thought you might want help getting it ready.

-That's, what he told me, anyway. -You a canoe builder?

-Uh, no, no, not, not really. -Know anything about them?

Some. I crewed with Brian all last year. Did a lot of bailing.

[Sean clearing his throat]

Look, uh, I know a lot about boats and fiberglass.

I grew up racing single-handed one-design sailboats.

And I'm Captain of Baywatch Hawaii,

so know a lot about the water, and we take care of our own boats.

Tell Brian Keaulana to mind his own business.

I don't need anybody feeling sorry for me.

[Sean] I--

I heard you did really well in these races over the years,

and it must be a drag not to be out there

when you know you can whip most of these guy's butts.

Sean, right?

Yeah. Believe me, I don't like people in my business

any more than you do, but maybe if we work together on this thing--

I don't know what Brian told you, but I quit because I wanted to quit.

We can get that boat ready in time for the race.

I know I'm not the best teammate you could find--

My decision about the canoe, about racing,

about how I live my damn life has nothing to do with Melisa,

her cancer, or the fact that her ashes are spread out all over the Moloka'i Channel.

Those are the facts. I can live with that.

What I can't live with is everyone trying to fix something that can't be fixed.

It's really hard to make the tough decisions.

I mean, who stays on the team, who should go.

But, as captain of the team, it comes with the territory.

[waitress] Here are your drinks, Mr. Monroe.

[Zack] Ah, you are too kind, darling.

Ladies.

[Zack chuckling]

Hey, don't you short-change yourself just because this is a house account.

You give yourself a nice big tip, okay? Sean Monroe is no cheapskate.

Oh, and don't forget to check on when my suite will be ready.

Sean, you have to tell us how you ended up

in such a top position at such a young age.

You must have made some spectacular rescue or something.

And faced some seriously dangerous situations.

[woman] Zack!

Zack!

Zack!

Zack, you have been a very bad boy!

Don't you ever run away from Mommy again, Zack!

Do you hear me?

[Zack sighing]

Ah, yeah.

I've led an interesting and spectacular life.

But right here,

right now with you two lovely ladies

is way, way up there.

[Crystal chuckling]

Because it's a heiau, that's why!

It's ancient, built by our ancestors.

It has meaning,

something that goes completely over your head.

But I'd even think a cultural moron like you

would know enough not to desecrate it by having me lie all over it

like I'm trying to seduce someone.

What is it with you?

Are you totally determined to turn this entire shoot into a disaster?

How could I do that? I'm just a dumb lifeguard, right?

-What now? Self-pity? -No, you're the genius, right?

So go on. Manipulate my tiny, little mind.

You know what? Get what you want so we can get out of here!

You know, I thought I'd dealt

with every kind of egomaniac model-actor-singer-dancer,

famous for no reason doofus, with a mirror in front of his face,

instead of his eyes, but you,

hmm, you take the cake, Mr. Hawaii.

Well, you're no prize yourself, Terri.

I don't even know if you took those pictures.

-Oh, I get it. -Get what? I'm saying you're right.

I'm as dumb as a coconut for taking your word for it in the first place.

So why don't we just cut the bull, get in the boat and go back, all right?

[Terri] Hey, cool it.

It's my fault, all right?

Huh, you type of guys usually wait until after the shoot is over

before you pull this kind of power trip.

-What're you talking about? -Oh, please.

I thought you understood that I would take care of you when the shoot was over,

but if you need to jump me to feel better about being bossed around,

then let's get to it, so we can get back to work.

[Jason] Terri,

you're hot and all, and I was maybe up for something,

but what you're saying now is just crazy.

Then what is it? What, what, what?

I mean, you wanna do the shots and then you don't wanna do the shots.

You feel guilty about your friend, then you don't feel guilty.

You wanna get physical, and the again you don't.

You won't stay in the water because you think it's stupid

and you won't lay on some old mound of nothing

because you think it's sacred.

Ah...

Is this some gag by that loser, Aimee Parks, at Talk?

Huh?

That's it.

Yeah, of course, I mean,

she told me I was selling out doing this calendar

and she told me I was gonna fall flat on my face,

and then she hires you to hit on me and bring me out here

and turn me into a complete, raving basket case!

You tell Aimee and her jerk photo-editor husband

they can kiss my butt.

[Terri stammering] I would rather shoot trees

and turtles, and, and, and...

Sand.

Sand.

...than waste another minute

with an over-hunked psycho Hawaiian beach bum!

Psycho.

Hmm.

[Jason clearing his throat]

I don't know any Aimee Parks.

[Terri chuckling]

I know.

You need a vacation.

[Jason chuckling]

-You think? -Oh, yeah.

[Terri laughing]

Yeah.

[Sean sighing]

[Sean] All right, look, man, I heard what you were saying

and I'm not trying to get in your life or anything like that.

All I'm doing is fixing your canoe, all right?

Just for fun. For me. No charge, all right?

Your sanding strokes, they gotta be straight, stem to stern.

It's not a motorboat.

Yeah, yeah, it makes sense that way.

Go with the way of the water

and that the paint will go on easier that way, too, huh?

Look...

How about it, Jimmy? Wanna help me out for a bit?

I'm up for learning anything I can.

Not interested, Sean.

Hey...

Make sure you don't sand that name off, okay?

Yeah.

Melisa.

So, there I am at the historic Makapu'u Lighthouse,

taking in the incredible vistas, when one of my coast guard friends,

who was still trying to catch up to me, hollers out,

"Captain Monroe! Sean, someone in trouble!"

So, like a rocket, I pulled down the stairwell,

and there, 200 feet below us are swimmers in trouble.

Article two of the Sean Monroe doctrine?

-Assess risk? -Communicate and act.

And that's what I did, darlings.

My friends said, "Sean, you can't go down there,

it's too steep, it's too dangerous."

But two people are alive today

because I listened to myself, not others.

-Sean, you really are amazing. -And totally out of this world.

You are so right, darlings.

[J.D. sighing]

[Hawaiian music]

Yo!

Didn't I?

-Hey, no work. You promised. -[Terri] Force of habit.

[Jason sighing] Habits make you blind.

You always carry a speargun?

When I'm near the water, yeah.

Must scare the people you're rescuing.

Well, not at work, you know.

Just pulling your chain.

So, you're the real deal, huh?

Born and bred the island ways.

Well, I was, uh, born in Honolulu, but I was raised in Houston

in a tough-ass neighborhood since I was a baby.

[Jason panting]

Came out here a couple of years ago.

I got hooked up with the Baywatch Hawaii gig and now I'm here.

But you seem like, so native,

with the fish, the way you handle yourself.

Like I said before,

I got off the plane and I was all Texas, like "City Texas."

Figured if I hadn't seen it, it wasn't worth seeing.

In less than a year this place, these people changed all that.

I found my heart, you know?

That's why you got so messed up over the silly thing with your friend?

Not so silly.

He was right.

[Jason sighing]

You said you packed some wine?

I did. It's in the tent.

[Terri laughing]

You're not gonna get me drunk and take advantage of me?

Seems like we've done enough of that today.

Why don't we just try and have dinner without killing each other.

Sounds like a plan.

[Terri chuckling]

You know...

You're not stupid.

Yeah, I know.

-[Sean] Hey, Jimmy. -How is it?

-Hey, you lashing the ama on with this? -Uh-huh.

-Half-inch cord, seems right, huh? -Same as it was on before.

Yeah, except this is nylon.

You lash the ama on with anything else except cotton rope,

it stretches and moves under the pressure,

and if not in the middle of the Moloka'i Channel,

the ama falls off, people drown.

-Not smart for a lifeguard. -[Sean chuckling]

Well, like I said, Jimmy,

I'm up for learning if you wanna teach me.

If you want to come by here every day for 15 minutes and bust my chops,

go ahead, but in the end,

it's the work and this boat that's gonna suffer, not me.

You got a whole bucket full of nerve, don't you?

You know, I asked about you.

People said you're kinda bull-headed, a little full of himself.

But, okay.

-What color you painting this hull? -Uh, I was thinking, blue.

Wrong. Gotta be red.

The ocean's blue. You don't wanna disappear out there.

Primer looks right, though.

Hey, you get enough monkeys and typewriters,

you might get Hamlet, right?

You got another brush?

Take mine.

Of course, with the name of the boat being Melisa,

kinda hard for me to keep pretending

she's not part of the whole thing, you know?

Brian told me a little bit about her.

Said she could handle a canoe, all right.

Oh, yeah, she was the real waterman.

It wasn't for her sense of the currents and the wind

and the whole world around her.

She could feel everything.

It was like the whole of life

washed through her like the waves.

So, when I lost her, I lost everything.

The race, my life.

Everything.

I heard you lost your son a while back.

Yeah. Yeah, I did.

Pretty much finished me off for a long time, but, um...

Like you said,

life kinda washed through him too, so he's--

He's still with me.

Melisa make me laugh like nobody else could.

-Your son do that for you? -[Sean laughing]

Oh, yeah, he did.

He sure did.

[Zack] So, I say we go up to the suite,

order some fabulous room service,

cuddle up

and watch every movie they have on those pay channels.

-What do you say? -I say you're the man, Sean Monroe.

Hi, Sean.

You mind if I talk to you over here? Some urgent lifeguard matters.

You know, the Monroe Doctrine and all that.

Sure, J.D. Not a problem.

Ladies.

So, I did a little checking, and there's Sean Monroe's name

on some of the biggest bar tabs in history.

Sky high bills at the Bali,

room service, a suite?

I know this doesn't seem very righteous.

Listen, it was a free offer, and Sean was gonna blow it off.

It was going to waste.

It's like Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, right?

The Genie comes out and says, "Three wishes, man."

Aladdin didn't turn to the Genie and tell him to stuff himself.

No, he took the wishes. And that's kinda what I'm doing.

I'm like Aladdin's assistant, you know, keeping the balance in the Universe.

Zack, you are not Aladdin's assistant,

or the Great Wallenda, or Sean Monroe either.

You better figure out a way to make this right,

because you know you don't want the real Sean Monroe to find out.

Okay, okay. I'll talk to the hotel manager.

I'll throw myself at their mercy and I'll straighten this out, but...

Don't let the big guy find out.

You straighten it out today, Zack!

Got us some lunch.

-Shrimp curry, rice, macaroni salad. -Yeah, I'm not hungry.

Hey, why don't you make yourself useful

and throw some red on the rest of that hull.

Nice to see you're as easy going as usual.

-What? -Nothing.

Hey, uh, Jimmy, you think we could do this race, huh?

You and me?

I mean, the boat's almost ready. Brian's holding a spot.

How about we take Melisa out one more time, man?

[Jimmy scoffing]

It's a long way across the Moloka'i Channel, bro.

Hey, I'm not saying we could win or anything, bro.

[Jimmy scoffing] You got that right.

And I know I'm not anything like your old teammate,

but you think you might be up for it?

Well...

You know, we lost Melisa's mast to dry rot.

You know? And we need one of those. We need a sail...

...a canvas to keep the water out.

[Sean sighing]

But if you're game, I'll go out again.

You gotta take what life offers you and go with it, right?

-Right. Right, right, right. -Right.

-[Jimmy laughing] -[Sean laughing]

All right, Terri.

Terri!

Terri!

Come on, let's go!

Terri!

[camera shuttering]

-[Jason] Terri, Come on, let's go. -Jase, come here.

I've got such a great angle from up here. You don't even have to change.

If you just come across from me down where the water's spraying up,

oh, you will look like a young, gorgeous god coming out of the sea.

[Jason] Terri, stop. It's dangerous. Come here.

-I'm not coming back until you say yes. -This isn't a game, Terri. Come here.

-Jason! -[Jason] Terri!

[Terri screaming]

Terri!

[tense music]

[tense music]

[Jason gasping]

Terri!

-Terri! -[Terri] Jason!

Help!

Terri!

Jason!

[tense music intensifying]

[muffled] Help me!

[Jason grunting]

[Jason blowing]

-[Jason blowing] -[Terri coughing]

-I got you. You're okay. -[Terri sobbing]

[Terri coughing]

-Let it out. -[Terri coughing]

Thank you.

[Terri panting]

-You'll be all right. Just breathe. -[Terri panting]

[mysterious music]

Oh, no, Jimmy. Jimmy, Jimmy.

[Jimmy] Hey, Sean.

What you doing out in the water? What, you lose something?

Yeah.

It was you.

[Sean chuckling]

I don't know, I'm an idiot, all right?

I thought you grabbed the canoe and--

What, went to meet Melisa on the other side?

-I know, I know, my imagination. -Kinda melodramatic, huh?

[Jimmy chuckling]

Although, when it first happened,

I thought of that kinda stupid stuff, you know,

but I knew when I got over, Melisa would kick my butt six ways from Sunday.

[Jimmy laughing]

All right, well, the mystery still remains.

Where's our canoe?

I got this brand new paddle and this great canvas cover.

About that--

What, you got ambitious and had it taken over to the start point there?

No.

I sold it.

-You're kidding me. -I wasn't thinking about selling it, Sean,

but I was out here working on the mast, right?

And this guy comes walking down the beach with his wife,

you know, twenties, haole, but into canoeing, kinda like you--

How's that like me?

Anyway, he bought that big beach house on the other side of Hale'iwa Harbor.

You sold it, Jimmy?

How could you do that, man? After all the work we put into it?

The emotional stuff that we put into bringing Melisa back?

That doesn't make any sense.

Worse than that, it's disrespectful and it sure as hell isn't very Hawaiian, man.

Where's the respect for tradition and ohanaand all that?

All kind haoles, you know, good hearts, bad hearts, they all here,

what, for maybe a month, and they gotta get in the locals' face

and tell them what's Hawaiian and what's not.

[Jimmy muttering] Yeah.

All right, all right, all right. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

I'm out of line, man.

You had every right to sell it.

Sean, the guy had money. Ten thousand bucks. Can you believe that?

And he knew all about the history of the canoe and everything.

And like we said, you gotta take what life gives you.

And go with it.

And, hey, Sean, I appreciate what you did for me and I won't forget, okay?

Can I at least get some dinners out of it?

Two, max. I gotta invest that money. Plus I need a new roof for my house.

Even us spiritual Hawaiians don't like getting rained on.

[Sean chuckling]

-I'm sorry about the Hawaiian thing. -Hey, no worries, bro.

You know, our people

in the universities and museums, they're all getting in the act, you know.

This is fake Hawaiian, this is real Hawaiian.

Hey, if King Kamehameha were alive today,

he'd march them all up to his heiau and cut their fool heads off.

[Hawaiian music]

Hello, there.

I'm Sean Monroe, from Baywatch Hawaii.

I'm a guest here, you probably already know that.

Anyway, on the encouragement of a friend,

I have decided to go with what life gives me

and take you guys up on your very kind offer.

But nothing extravagant, just maybe a couple of days' spa privileges.

Well, it seems, Mr. Monroe, that you've been plenty extravagant already.

What are you talking about?

Seven hundred and eighty-five dollars food and beverage poolside,

three nights Ocean Suite and over 2,000 dollars in room service.

What? Wait, wait a minute, now. There's gotta be a mistake.

I've been staying on the North Shore for the past week.

I'm sorry, there's no mistake, Mr. Monroe.

[Zack] Hi, uh, I'm Sean Monroe.

Listen, I just want to give y'all a big mahalo for everything.

I hope I didn't overdo it.

Just tell the manager for me that I'll send him a big thank you note

and we'll leave it at that, okay?

There's no need to bring it up.

How's it?

Okay, okay. You don't buy the Aladdin thing, that's fine,

but what it was, straight and honest, was temptation, pure and simple.

And temptation wouldn't be temptation if it wasn't really tempting.

Okay, so, yeah, I fell, so did Adam, so did Eve.

And, bro, look at the bright side of things,

there are a couple of women in Michigan who will not forget Sean Monroe

for as long as they live.

You're paying back every cent, no matter how long it takes.

Well, can I get, like, a friends and family discount, maybe?

-[Terri] Jason.

-Terri, how are you feeling? -[Terri] Good. Uh...

Thank you, Jason.

You saved my life and that's a biggie.

[Terri chuckling]

And you changed it, too.

I never thought anyone, anyone would ever be the real deal, but...

...you're it.

I don't know about that.

I do.

-[Terri chuckling] -[Jason chuckling]

-[Jason] Hey. -Yeah?

-Don't forget about your vacation. -Oh, I won't. Believe me.

[Terri chuckling]
