[Episode 33]

He also said

even if it was not for the alliance with the Window of Heaven,

he would do it for the reputation of the Five Lakes Alliance,

leaving no mistake.

He asked me to rest assured.

He...

did he say this without any hesitation

or after struggles?

Since it has ended like this,

do you still...

Do you still need to ask such a question?

I’m bold to say something more.

Your trial is

indeed a thorough move of bringing owls to Athens.

Fanatic!

So wanton!

I’m sorry for my impudence.

Scorpion King, please forgive me!

The one all-possessed by gambling

will always be good at finding excuses,

desiring to turn the table.

So do I.

I just want to give him one more chance,

and one more chance for me, too.

Leave it.

Leave it.

Since it’s like this,

I will take one one superfluous action.

Qian Qiao,

take it.

This...

There.

This is thorough antidote to the Slave Voodoo.

Two pieces in total.

This is the recipe for the once-a-month antidote.

Don’t you understand?

Haven’t you always begged me

to spare Yu Qiu Feng before?

I promised you.

since the life of this brat of the Mount Hua Sect

doesn’t matter at all,

I’m willing to help you achieve your wish.

If he’s willing to give up

the throne of Leader of Mount Hua Sect

and leave with you when he goes back,

all these things

could be counted as my gifts for your wedding.

Scorpion King.

It’s just that

whether to give him the thorough antidote,

or the Slave Voodoo

to make him your forever loyal servant,

it’s all up to you.

You’ve suffered alot in your life,

I don’t have the heart to stand aside.

So,

I also give you a chance to make your own choice,

you must cherish it.

Scorpion King.

Qian Qiao.

Qian Qiao.

Did you come for yourself or Scorpion King?

Feng,

are you willing to run away with me?

He...

Qian Qiao.

Tomorrow is the Heroes Conference.

What are you talking about now?

Qian Qiao.

Of course I’m willing to

go as far as possible with you.

However, both of us suffer from the Slave Voodoo of Scorpion King,

have you forgotten?

If we don’t get the antidote within one month,

we will die a tragic death.

Let’s be a couple for a month, alright?

Qian Qiao.

Feng, trust me.

I know exactly how dangerous the Ghost Valley is.

Scorpion King wants us to be the pawns,

and it’s filled with grim possibilities this time.

Why don’t we just escape?

Then we can enjoy the one last month together.

Qian Qiao,

that’s not it.

Although fighting against the Ghost Valley is definitely dangerous,

we might escape the danger by a hair’s breath....

However, once we escape...

I’ve made up my mind,

I’m leaving tonight,

will you come with me?

Make your own decision.

Qian Qiao.

Qian Qiao, you can’t leave.

Qian Qiao, the Scorpion King won’t spare me if you do so.

Didn’t I ask you to choose?

I... I...

Fine, no need to say it aloud.

I don’t want to know the answer.

Qian Qiao, what is this?

This is a thorough antidote to the Slave Voodoo.

Take it and leave White Deer Town.

It’s dangerous to fight against the Ghost Valley.

I didn’t lie to you.

This fan is

a treasure that I’ve collected for my whole life.

[Yu Qiu Feng]

Now,

I give it back to you.

Qian Qiao,

do you have more antidotes?

Have you taken it?

What you have said

makes me feel everything is worthwhile.

Feng,

it’s a long way to go,

please take good care of yourself.

We’re destined to end up here.

Qian Qiao, what do you mean?

Qian Qiao.

Qian Qiao, what are you doing?

I want to forget you completely.

The willows along the quiet river turns green.

Flowers and moon are concomitant in the distance.

Days and years repeat and go by,

the scene reappears

after the snow melts.

Today heroes across the country all gather together,

since we differ in martial arts

and don’t know each other well,

we must elect a leader

to guide us in conquering the Ghost Valley.

Judging from virtue,

Grandmaster Ci Mu deserves high prestige.

From the angle of martial arts,

as Chief of Bodhidharma Hall,

he is well up in technique.

In terms of reputation,

Shaolin Sect has long been the supreme in the martial arts world.

Therefore, I recommend Grandmaster Ci Mu

to guide us to conquer the Ghost Valley.

Amitabha, thank you for your appreciation.

But as a Buddhist,

I’m not suitable to lead such an action.

I have someone suitable to recommend.

Mo Huai Yang, Leader of the Gentle Wind Sect.

He was the champion of the Heroes Conference 20 years ago.

In the past 20 years, he has secluded himself to practice.

His martial arts skills must have reached a high level.

Since we’re martial artists,

and we’re voting for the supreme leader of the martial arts world,

who should be supreme in martial arts.

Therefore, I vote for Leader Mo.

Everybody,

today we are voting for a leader

that not only has virtue and reputation,

but also the strong leadership.

Currently, the Ghost Valley is rudderless,

but it bears the geographical advantage

and strict fortification.

Therefore, in my opinion,

this leader must be good at plotting and deciding.

What’s more, he must be equipped with

experience in battle commanding.

Considered from this angle,

Chief of the Five Lakes Alliance is the most suitable one,

right?

Yes, exactly.

Yes, you’re right.

Leader Mo, that’s fair enough.

On any other aspects, you all might be outstanding enough to win,

however in these three points,

no one could bear comparison with our Chief Zhao.

He’s the perfect one.

Right?

Yes, you’re right.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Vote for Chief Zhao.

Just now Chief Zhao has

made a good point.

When the martial artists vote for a leader,

the voted one definitely, should be supreme in martial arts.

Why not ask the candidates to combat in public?

The final winner will be the supreme leader of the martial arts world.

Isn’t that easy and simple?

That’s true.

Great, combat with martial arts.

Combat with martial arts! Combat with martial arts!

Right, combat with martial arts.

It’s fair to combat with martial arts.

It makes sense.

Chief Zhao.

Please.

It’s my honor to learn from Leader Mo.

Please.

Everybody,

since the very beginning,

it’s always said that Chief Zhao is noble in morality

and excellent in strategy,

but not that well

in martial arts.

However, the demonstration today has shown...

Amitabha...

He indeed is awesome.

Unexpectedly, Chief Zhao’s martial arts

have reached such a high level.

Leader Mo is amazing in martial arts,

but Chief Zhao has succeeded in dog-fighting with him for quite awhile

without a hint of loss.

There are indeed numerous talents emerging in that martial arts world.

Ridiculous.

Since ancient times, the leader of martial arts must be of intelligence and virtue.

Zhao Jing, how dare you stand on the stage.

Zhao Jing, you were a son of a servant.

Due to the odd death of the only son of the former leader of Tai Lake Sect,

you willingly became the foster son of Chief Zhao,

that’s why you were among the five sons in the Five Lakes Alliance.

Later the five sons of Five Lakes Alliance and Rong Xuan became cronies

and jointly built the Armory.

Shut up.

How dare you!

How dare you stand here

and frame our Chief Zhao!

Someone! Catch him!

After the Armory was built,

you applied poison on Gao Chong’s sword

when the five sons fought with Rong Xuan,

who thought he had hurt Rong Xuan by mistake.

Rong Xuan went crazy because of this

and went mad.

Gao Chong failed to explain for himself and passed away with regrets.

The five sons collapsed and had been depressed

for the rest of their lives.

You’re the chief culprit in all these crimes.

If such a man of no loyalty and morality

sweeps all with his martial arts and becomes the supreme leader

of the martial arts world,

will you be convinced?

- Master, Master! - Senior Brother!

Master!

- Master, Master! - Senior Brother!

Master, are you okay?

Bastard!

Sneak attack! Vile!

Zhao Jing, what’s your excuse?

What explanation?

This bastard

kept gabbling on and on

when I was combating with Leader Mo,

setting me up.

Come and look,

he’s the accomplice of the Chief of Ghost Valley!

When we surrounded and killed Wen Ke Xing,

he had risked his life to save him.

You witnessed it with your own eyes.

So,

he was the one to set me up with hidden weapons.

Since you’re the winner,

I, Zhou Zi Shu, the Leader of the Four Seasons Manor

am willing to challenge and learn from Chief Zhao.

Who said the Four Seasons Manor was doomed?

Who?

Why is he here? It’s Wen Ke Xing.

Hasn’t he died?

Why didn’t he die?

Didn’t he fell down from the cliff?

What’s going on now?

Senior Brother, please let me handle this.

Isn’t he Wen Ke Xing, Chief of the Ghost Valley?

Indeed, my name is Wen Ke Xing,

but I’m from the Four Seasons Manor.

We’re just sharing the same name.

Are you all making a mistake?

Wen Ke Xing.

Are you fooling us?

How could you say such nonsense words?

All heroes, please don’t buy his words.

He’s truly the Chief of the Ghost Valley.

Right.

We’ve all witnessed it with our own eyes.

He is Chief of the Ghost Valley on the Ghost Book.

The Ghost Book was compiled by Zhao Jing,

who is unfaithful and unjust.

Couldn’t he just set me up?

Ridiculous!

That’s beyond dispute.

The three ghosts that betrayed the Ghost Valley are here.

To know whether he is Chief of the Ghost Valley,

just ask them directly.

Bring them up.

They’re Changing Ghost,

Black Grim Reaper and Happy Ghost.

Do you recognize this person on stage?

Is he your former master?

We don’t know him.

As we know,

Wen Ke Xing, Chief of the Ghost Valley, had been killed in White Deer Cliff.

His body is still in

the stronghold of the Five Lakes Alliance.

Does Chevalier Zhao

intentionally finagle all the heroes?

Scorpion,

you...

I’m a disciple of the Four Seasons Manor,

my master is Chevalier Qin, Qin Huai Zhang.

This is my Eldest Senior.

As for my parents...

Ah Xu, please lend me your sword

I’ll explain to you later.

I have a question.

Do you still remember Eighteen Moves of Qiuming?

Zhen Ru Yu?

Zhen Ru Yu of the Healer Valley.

Eighteen Moves of Qiuming.

Eighteen Moves of Qiuming of the Divine Healer, Zhen Ru Yu.

What’s your relationship with Benefactor Zhen?

It turns out that you haven;t forgotten him.

When he sacrificed himself in Mount Qingya,

when he was threatened in Healer Valley,

when he lost all his martial arts skills,

when he was slaughtered to death by the evil ghosts,

where were you all?

Answer me!

What’s your relationship with Zhen Ru Yu, the Divine Healer?

He is my father.

Nonsense!

Just now you said your surname was Wen.

My father’s original surname was Wen.

Later on, Chief Zhen of the Healer Valley gave him another surname,

which is Zhen.

However, since my later father had been expelled by his sect,

I, as his son,

would follow his wish

to change the surname back to Wen.

That’s why I’m called Wen Ke Xing.

Nonsense!

How dare you ruin the later Chevalier Zhen’s reputation?

You must be the Leader of the Mount Emei Sect, right?

When I was a month old,

Chevaliers of the Mount Emei Sect had jointly sewed a patchwork

to send to the Healer Valley as a gift.

It’s my fault

that I haven’t come to thank you

for your kindness and benevolent affections...

You’re really...

Elderly Nun Zhi Yin,

don’t be fooled by him!

Brother Zhen has been upright and aboveboard for his whole life,

how could he have such a vile son!

Wen Ke Xing.

The three ghosts just now

are obviously your lackeys.

You asked them to surrender to me

and turn against me now.

This is what you’ve arranged, right?

Listen,

such a clown trick

wouldn’t fool all the heroes around here.

Heroes, please listen to me.

The Ghost Valley are use to making mischief.

My Big Brother Gao Chong had been set up

by them and died unjustly.

There’s five pieces of the Glazed Armor in our Five Lakes Alliance

and you have taken four pieces of them,

now you’re targeting mine.

Heroes, don’t fall for it!

Shut up!

You don’t deserve to call Big Brother by his name.

You don’t deserve it!

Fifth Brother.

I understand now.

Shen Shen.

It’s you who colluded with the Ghost Valley and murdered Big Brother.

I’ve suspected there is a mole in Five Lakes Alliance for long,

but I didn’t expect it was you.

You leaked the secret of the Glazed Armor!

You murdered the Leader of Mount Tai Sect.

You coordinated to kidnapped Gao Xiao Lian

and threatened Big Brother with her life.

That’s why he endured all the humiliation

and eventually committed suicide in public.

It turns out that you’re the evil ghost.

Nonsense.

Thirty years ago,

Zhao Wen Da, Leader of the Tai Lake Sect,

was confined to his bed for the pain of losing his son.

Zhao Jing had served and taken good care of him,

Chief Zhao was touched to adopt him as a foster son

and helped him to make rapid advances.

Bad girl,

how dare you come here to spread fallacies!

Why did I mention such old stories

in front of all heroes?

I just want to ask you, Chief Zhao,

why did you hate my dad so much?

You not only murdered my dad

and took away his throne,

but also utterly discredited him,

making him regret for a lifetime

and die with no hope of vengeance.

Is it because my dad had ever witnessed

how miserable you used to be thirty years ago?

All the eye-witnesses to your tough time had all died distressingly.

Are these all coincidences?

Didn’t you have witnessed?

Can’t they be coincidences?

I’m Zhang Cheng Ling,

the son of Zhang Yu Sen, Leader of the Mirror Lake Sect.

This is the letter given by my father before he died

and he asked me to send it to Senior Ye.

It said that twenty years ago,

Senior Rong’s going mad was due

to the setting of Zhao Jing.

He knew exactly that the combat of the five brothers

[To Senior Ye in Mount Changming] would result in wounds and hurt.

So he applied poison of the sword of Chief Gao

in secrecy.

Eventually, he had things his way

and Senior Rong was poisoned and went mad,

which resulted in a series of tragedies later.

In a word,

thousands of casualties in the Battle of Mount Qingya

were all caused by Zhao Jing.

Cheng Ling, oh Cheng Ling.

You’ve wasted my love and favor!

How dare you talk nonsense here?

Nonsense!

Zhao Jing.

Failing to speak in self-defense is miserable, right?

In the past, you slandered my father

just by a one-sided story, didn’t you?

All of you, please have a look!

Isn’t he the eldest disciple of the Yueyang Sect?

Didn’t he commit suicide?

Yes, he’s first disciple of our Yueyang Sect

and my Eldest Senior, Deng Kuan.

As we know,

at the Heroes Conference in Mount Jun,

Eldest Senior accused my father

who was beyond self-defense

and claimed his innocence with his death.

Eldest Senior disappeared from then on.

Didn’t you feel strange?

Missing?

Zhao Jing.

Zhao Jing set me up.

Master.

I failed my master.

Eldest Senior.

All of you have heard it.

Eldest Senior was captured by Zhao Jing back then

and compelled by him with occult tricks.

That’s why he accused my father at the Heroes Conference.

We’ve tried every means to get him out.

Although we’ve conducted recuperative medical care on him,

he hasn’t recovered completely.

Zhao Jing is the evil backstage manipulator!

Zhao Jing is the shame of the martial arts world.

If one

can’t vindicate for his parents,

what’s the difference between him and a beast?

I’m just a girl with no power.

Today I unmasked Zhao Jing by risking my life,

just hope that all of you heroes can uphold justice for me.

Kill him, kill him, kill him.

Amitabha...

Kill him, kill him, kill him.

Kill him, kill him, kill him.

Kill him, kill him, kill him.

Kill this shame of the martial arts world! Bastard!

Fluff!

Wen Ke Xing, if you’re capable, just kill me.

Unable to confess,

betrayed by all,

isolated and alone.

Traitor Zhao Jing!

Do you admit your guilt?

Wen Ke Xing, you’ve deployed well and perfectly

to frame me.

I’ll just accept it.

If you want, just kill me.

However, if you desire to

force me to plead guilty,

you must be out of your mind.

Chief of the Ghost Valley,

you called white and black.

I didn’t.

I’ve just tried to

correct the mistake.

So stubborn!

Just as what Miss Gao has said,

if one

can’t vindicate for his parents,

he will be just the same as the beast.

Here comes the question,

an eye for an eye

is perfectly justified, right?

Yes, it is.

Kill him, kill him, kill him.

My parents had spend their whole life in saving and curing people, and thousands of people

we under the obligation to them.

But Zhao Jing betrayed them,

resulting in them being tortured to death.

I swear to Heaven that,

I, as the son of my parents,

will let Zhao Jing suffer

all the tribulations

that he had brought to my parents.

Kill him, kill him, kill him.

I’ve made a wrong move,

But I didn’t lose.

You’re the one who failed in this case.

You’ve been fooled by me for more than 20 years.

The whole martial arts world has been turned upside down by me.

I feel content.

I live at will and freedom,

and I die with vigor and vitality.

This is not the end of the story.

If you kill me,

you’ll all live under my shadow.

Kill him, kill him, kill him.

Great!

I’ll make you wish you were dead.

Father, Mother!

Master.

Chief Gao.

Ah Xu.

This is the path that you’d hope me to choose, right?

You deserve it.

Foster-Father.

Take this.

It’s good for you.

Foster-Father.

I know you’re good at talking.

As long as you talk,

you will convince me.

Therefore, from now on,

don’t ever try to speak.

Just have a rest. Have a rest.

Ah Xu.

Give it back to you. Let’s go back home!

Go back home first, okay?

I’ll tell you everything after we get home.

By then,

whether to beat or punish me,

it’s all up to you.

Ah Xu.

This is the best day of

my whole life.

Don’t you beat me here.

Deal.

Mark it on the book first.

- Master. Martial Uncle. - Great.

Little idiot, let’s go back home.

What do you want to eat for dinner?

Chief of the Ghost Valley,

where are you going?

What do you call my junior brother?

Zhao Jing faced retribution for a life of crimes

and had only himself to blame.

Today, our gathering here

is not to judge Zhao Jing

but to crusade against this Chief of the Ghost Valley.

Wen Ke Xing, you’ve revenged for yourself,

it’s time for public indignation.

Mo Huai Yang, are you insane?

This kid is the descendant of Chevalier Zhen,

not Chief of the Ghost Valley.

Leave alone the chance,

even if it’s true,

Zhen Ru Yu had done a favor for your sect,

but what about Gentle Wind Sect?

It’s none of our business.

Wen Ke Xing.

What did you do on White Deer Cliff?

You’re the Chief of the Ghost Valley,

why don’t you dare to admit it?

Don’t you feel ashamed?

Fine, I admit it.

I’m the Chief of the Ghost Valley.

Just now I was just kidding.

Wen Ke Xing, how dare you cheat me?

Please forgive me.

If I didn’t lie to you,

I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to judge Zhao Jing,

right?

Are you a descendant of the Zhen family or not?

Why did you join the Ghost Valley?

It’s due to all of you.

Nonsense!

Benefactor Zhen...

Enough, Elderly Nun Zhi Yin.

Your calling him Benefactor

is a kind of sarcasm, isn’t it?

When your benefactor was utterly discredited

and turned into a waste,

where were you Mount Emei Sect?

I could never figure it out

my father had so many bosom friends,

relative and friends back then,

but when darkness crept into our family,

where were you all?

Your parents ending

was not for the persecution of others

but your father’s protection for Rong Xuan

to hide the secret of the Armory.

This is the reason why I came here.

Anyone desiring to clear with my junior brother

must come at me first.

It’s not your turn.

Immortal Ye. Immortal Ye.

Immortal Ye. Immortal Ye.

Senior Ye.

Senior Ye, you come at the right moment.

Please lead all heroes to wipe out the Ghost Valley.

That’s right.

I will definitely destroy Ghost Valley.

Everyone in the Ghost Valley is doomed to die.
