Chicken! Did you see that?

Your turn, Wissam. Wissam!

Let's finish before the bell rings.

I thought you gave up on her. She doesn't talk to the guys.

Her parents don't let her.

Her parents aren't here ...

I talked with her.

And you didn't say anything?

Last Tuesday she sat down next to me on the bus.

It's the end of school anyway.

Stop or I don't play.

Today you are with your mom.

She can't be alone.

Hurry up.

I finish at 3pm. Do not be late. twenty Did you have to move my mirror? Did you forget who bought the car?

- Take it. - Do not touch.

Give it back.

And if they stop you at the checkpoint?

- Do you think I'm a coward? - No.

I thought you're done with the fighters.

- Think about the parents. - Why? They'd break down if something happened to you.

You're pissing me off. thirty We've been deployed.

I'm going.

For what?

Who are you going to fight? With the neighbor's sons?

Georges ...

Don't invite war to our house.

I'm not picking you up today. Come back by bus.

Mother!

Do not panic.

It's just a sonic boom. You will be late.

George, don't go.

Parents will break down.

Please stand in line.

Silence!

Peace!

Wissam!

Hold on.

Wounds!

Stand back!

What's going on there?

Boys! What are you doing?

- The balls fell apart. - We apologize.

My pocket has burst.

Take the bag.

We begin.

Good day.

Jasmine. Good day.

We need to talk.

I am late.

- Now. - I can not. Later. Fast! Good day. Good day.

Wissam. Fast! - Good morning. - Have a nice day.

Two exam days left. Since when do we have pigeons at school?

I do not know. Will you be back in Solemar again in summer? Dad will let me ride on water skiing.

Faster! Fourth grade. Forget about her.

He spends every vacation in Paris. - How do you know? - Her mother is French. For this he lives in West Beirut.

So what?

Rides back and forth.

You'll be jumping between East and West Beirut? Her father must know important people.

My, although he knows the president, cannot cross the border. Fifth grade. Good morning Lady.

Put everything in the cupboards. Just leave your pen and pencil eraser and sharpener.

We don't have all day.

Mazim, close the door. - What? - Look!

Are you crazy

What if he reports it? - He won't. - How do you know? I know. Do not look.

Joano, are you okay?

Yes, ma'am.

Take a seat.

Take one sheet and pass to the person behind you.

Don't pick up the pages. Don't turn them over. You have an hour and a half for the exam. From now!

France and the US expressed concern due to increasing aggression in Lebanon.

School, how can i help you?

Mrs.

Relax.

Wait a minute.

Please wait.

Please calm down.

Sorry, Mr. Brown. Mrs. Jasmin Sayeh's mother is calling.

He needs to talk to his daughter.

Can't wait?

Apparently it's urgent.

Okay.

Your mother is calling. Will you watch over them?

Look at the cards. Mom, how's Dad?

You scared me.

Of course he can't talk.

He's on sedatives.

Give me George.

Where is?

Where did he go? You let him go south?

Are you not listening to the news?

Listen.

Dad is fine.

If something serious happened, they would tell us.

When she wakes up, don't say that George went south. Think of something! Mom, you will confess later to Father Szarbel.

Would you take your daddy's blood pressure up! You are a bundle of nerves!

Calm down.

You must be strong.

I will come to Beirut today. Okay? I'll call you later.

Sorry. Can you turn it up?

The Red Cross is in urgent need of this blood for the wounded. A few moments ago our correspondent in the south reported that Israeli forces the bombing has resumed.

Their missiles reach Sidon.

Increased fire makes it impossible The Red Cross and the media

getting into the regions ...

- Everything's all right? - Yes.

- Do you have to go home? - No.

Thank you. - Yes? - Can I leave the class?

- Are you done? - Yes.

Those who have finished can leave.

Ready?

What are you doing here?

- You don't have exams? - I have a.

I am finishing my drawing for art.

What are you doing here?

Look over there.

- Do you have a girlfriend? - Yes.

Mom knows? From where! You love her?

Yes.

And she you? Too.

Promise you won't.

- Swear it! - I swear to God. Mom found a note, which I wrote to my classmate. She said I am too young for love.

Do you feel anything here? Forget about mom. I don't know each other! Let's make a deal.

Will you help me see Nisrine and I will help you with anything.

Seriously?

You can help me get in to West Beirut?

- West Beirut? - She lives there.

Is she a Muslim?

I do not know.

Deal?

You have to get through through checkpoints. Deal?

Standing.

- What is it? - Give me back!

But what is that?

Tear up.

Stop!

Give it back.

Don't hide him from me. Show!

Just don't make a scandal. - You promise? - Yes.

- Word? - Word. - Do you know who wrote it? - No. This must be reported! - I said something! - Grubian!

I like it. No matter who it is from.

You're not curious who it is?

What if I don't like him?

He is to be punished anyway! Hi! - Majid, I'll tell her. - Seriously?

What if he slaps you?

We're not in the States. It's Lebanon.

It's not like the movies in Lebanon.

What does it have to do with it?

It is from them that you take your ideas.

Life is not "Endless love".

It's a sad movie.

Have you seen him too? I would do anything to see brooke shields naked.

You and your brother got into trouble.

My sister is terrible.

He turns off the TV even with a kiss.

If it weren't for Joana, you'd be the best in class. I know. But... I let her.

Besides, always I'm better at math. Look.

She's with the biggest gossip Abir Murtada. Who is friends with her? I have to hand over the drawing.

See you soon! Mrs. Hibo?

Mrs. Hibo! National Movement rejected Israel's demands and declared that it would not be he tolerated collaborators.

5th grade exams.

- Someone called me? - No.

- I can call? - Of course.

Wissam, come in.

I have to hand over the drawing to Mrs. Hiba,

but she's not in the classroom.

She didn't come today.

I'll take it.

- You draw beautifully. - Thank you.

Who is this? Grendizer? No. Tigron.

He is stronger. It has more power.

Nobody will stand against him in the way.

Nicely.

Mom?

Aunt Adele?

How's dad? And Georges? God.

Georges, what are you doing?

Joano,

I love you. Joano, I love you.

Joano, I love you.

Joano ...

I love you very much.

Joano, I love you. What about your shorts? My pen exploded.

Stop staring. Abir is the problem. I will surely miss it soon.

It's him. I bet!

- Who? - Majid! - Did you see how he looked at us? Majid? You weren't here last year.

They suspended him for three days. Because of the note to the girl. It was inappropriate. He had to apologize to get back. How do you know?

- The note was for you? - What a disgust! No!

How do you know?

He tells her about everything. My mom warned me about him. Abir, is there anyone who do you even like - It means? - Did you like any boy?

Sure not.

No. Too much is happening. It's getting worse.

Joseph, we're at school. Do it for us and turn off the radio.

Not better?

Georges went south? You want to talk about him or what happened on saturday?

Isn't that the same? You came to us for the first time! You had to mention politics

and argue with my brother?

- I apologized. - What do I do after the apology?

It was a pity.

Did you think you would change it?

I asked you not to do this.

But you had to get into politics.

- Your brother belongs to the militias. - So what? If it goes on like this, we'll lose the country.

Do you remember how he disappeared and you didn't know where it is?

You were afraid the worst happened.

And he was training ... Enough. Come on.

Do it for you and me.

You both think you're right. And you?

You know he's wrong, but you're silent. What can I advise?

This is my brother.

He's stubborn. You can't make me to choose one.

People like him are destroying this country.

He will say the same about you.

And you? I'm in the middle.

You are both destroying our country. We all lose.

So we're wasting our time.

Look at your cards.

Mrs!

Joano! Yes, Wissam?

I wanted to ask you ...

It means...

How did it go geography exam?

Okay. And you?

I'm done. I mean, I'm not finished ... It means...

I was guessing in several places.

I'll make up for the math.

We'll see.

Maybe we'll be together in sixth grade.

If not, you'll be the best.

Tell Majid I'm not like that girl from last year.

Majid?

You have red ink on your ear.

What are you doing here?

I came to my brother.

Brother? Which class is she in?

- At nine o'clock. - They're writing an exam. Do you go to elementary school?

Then go back there.

- I need to talk with him. - It's high school.

Run! Come on!

I can ask an eclair sir

Me - you?

- Here you go. - How much?

25 piastres.

Enjoy your meal.

Can I take the roof keys?

- What are they for? - I want to see the warships. There was nothing in the news.

Can i get the keys?

Be right back.

And what? Thread...

- What did she say? - Thread. We need two players.

We're busy.

We're playing with 5b.

We're busy.

Maybe he doesn't like you.

Why are you saying that?

You are hiding something?

No. Mażid, you're hiding something.

- Why? - She mentioned you! - About me? - Yes! Why?

Stop picking!

She said it is not like last year's girl. What is she talking about? Joany wasn't here then. I told you Abir was a gossip girl!

You engraved our names on the tree!

These are just initials. Find another friend to play with!

Wissam!

Wait! Look. I scraped off. Wissam!

Can you see anything Thread. There is a fog from the smoke.

Guys, I want to play! What did you tell Wissam?

- What do you want? - Abir, don't interfere.

Do not answer.

- You want them fired again? - What's with you?

- Don't talk to him. - Stop it, I'll decide for myself.

Bastards.

Nothing will happen here.

We don't know. Call students to class

for exams. We have to think about it.

- Let's go home. - Relax.

Nothing's gonna happen here.

- We are continuing the exams. - What about you?

This is one country. If they attack some, it's like they are attacking everyone. - Let's send the kids home. - Relax.

- Anger doesn't get you anywhere. - Because some people think differently! Joseph, that's enough!

We're at school.

I do not know what's going on. - Let's tell the parents. - Let them write their exams. Then they will go home.

Call lessons.

I'll let the parents know. Thousands of people are leaving their cities in the south of Lebanon, heading north and to Beirut.

Nothing's happening here. The kids are fine. They're safe.

We're trying to make a call but the lines are busy.

Yes sir.

They will take bus number 4.

Yes.

We hope, that it will end soon.

Let the pass not be closed.

Okay.

Wissamie? What's going on in West Beirut?

Mrs!

Go back to lessons.

Thank you.

Where have you been? I tried to talk to her.

- Do not speak. - It's a math exam.

Give me the watch.

I'll pay you back later.

Do not be afraid. That `s nothing.

Go back to your exams.

Watch the exams! It was not a sonic boom.

No. Was close.

They almost reached Beirut.

God save us.

Mrs. Sayeh,

Michael's future mother. Go back to your exams.

What is it about?

Nothing will happen here. Do not be afraid.

Are they bombing near Hadath?

No, far away. You do not need to be afraid. And West Beirut?

Listen, Hadath and West Beirut are safe.

They only bomb the south. Nothing happens.

But ... my parents.

Sometimes the bombs really go down close.

What if something happened to them?

Do not be afraid.

They're fine.

Think about something pleasant.

Focus on the exam.

Yes, ma'am.

Hello? Yes, ma'am.

We'll keep them until your arrival.

Hello?

They couldn't wait until the end of school?

There is only one crossing in Beirut.

Lots of people there.

It looks bad.

Hello? Yes.

Wait a minute.

These three must stay here. 4b. Yes, ma'am.

Wissam, warships!

Sit down!

All in place!

Currently!

I'm talking to you! Go back to your exams.

But there are ships. Sit down. There is nothing.

Enough!

Not a word more. Finish the exam! Without a word! Silence!

To your seats! I'm not kidding!

Focus on the exam!

You have no right look out the window! Of course? What is happening there does not concern us.

Don't look at me like that!

Go back to your exams.

Please don't close your windows.

Dad says that while bombing should be open.

Otherwise the windows will break. Give me your exams and stand at the door.

Get in a row.

Majid, your watch.

Wissam. Joano.

Wissam, it's over.

- I did not finish. - Enough.

Stand in line.

Joano, give me the card.

You will stay here. Your parents will pick you up.

What's happening?

Mrs. Leila will tell you.

Another list.

Okay.

Do not be afraid.

The parents will be here soon.

Hello?

Majid!

Shuffle my cube.

Count the time.

Okay.

Majid!

- How long did it take? - I didn't start the timer.

- What do you want? - I didn't mean to upset you.

- I thought we were friends. - We're. The best. This time, be honest. - Did you tell her something? - No.

Forward. I didn't call their parents.

The last passage has just been closed.

The school will be closed tomorrow!

How do you know?

Mrs. Leila said that all passages are closed.

Come here after you hear the name.

I need to check on my family. There is no signal.

You're not getting connected. We have a war.

I'm worried about George.

There is no time for this.

Your family can handle it.

They are attacking not only Beirut.

Are they Israelis?

Let's go!

You can play at home on Atari in Space Invaders.

This is my equipment!

It is for everyone.
