If we want real, long-term growth,

we have to integrate

the entire upstream and downstream supply chain.

from raw materials to every single component

and accessory,

we've achieved domestic production

step by step,

and made our PV industry

number one in the world.

For two years running,

our PV cells have accounted

[China has emerged as the global hub] for over 50%

[for PV manufacturing.] of global production.

"Possessing a treasure invites trouble."

A massive crisis

has followed once again.

AD/CVD.

trade frictions continue to escalate.

The U.S. DOC

recently announced

the imposition

of high AD/CVD

on PV panels and modules

exported from China.

Tax rates

range from 18.32%

to

249.96%.

Meanwhile,

the EC

has also launched an AD investigation

into Chinese PV products.

The case involves

as much as €21 billion,

making it

the largest AD/CVD case in history.

They can't choke us with technology

or materials anymore,

so they resort to trade barriers

and market squeezing,

trying to strangle

China's PV industry.

It's an old trick.

We've seen it before,

and we'll see it again.

But they've forgotten one thing:

this is China.

We have a vast territory

and diverse landscapes.

China itself

is a massive market.

And that brings me to the core

of today's lecture:

Solutions.

The key lies right here.

In the Northwest.

Northwest China

has abundant solar resources

and vast, sparsely populated land.

With transmission costs

so high,

wind and solar power

become the ultimate solution.
