Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is...

DEA-WAN". What is this place?

Qkh-GON: A conduit through which the entire Force of the universe flows.

Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.

Just when you think you understand the Force,

you find out how little you actually know.

YODA". Train yourself to let go

of everything you fear to lose.

What you need, you already have.

Unfortunately, you seem to be letting it all go.

I won 't let him lose his way, not like I did.

The Force is what gives a Jedi his power.

It's an energy field created by all living things.

It surrounds us and penetrates us.

It binds the galaxy together.

Please sit.

Ah, of course.

Sabine Wren.

It's no wonder you took such an interest

in the paintings from the temple.

The Grand Admiral has spoken highly of your talents.

You know he's acquired a small collection of your work?

I'm flattered.

I would never consider myself an artist, but more a...

A critic, perhaps.

That explains a lot.

I will admit that you and your friend

swiftly solved something that I could not.

Now, tell me, how did you open the portal?

I'm smarter than you.

I have informed the Emperor that your friend entered the temple.

He was rather impressed with young Bridger.

It must be so difficult for him now without his master.

Yes.

Kanan Jarrus, or Caleb Dume... Whichever.

Such a pity he chose the path he did and fell to such a meaningless end.

You think you're powerful, but you're just a pawn.

Oh, well, it's true.

My power is but a reflection of the might of my Emperor.

And yet, for all his might,

he couldn't open the door, but Ezra could.

Your friend is not safe beyond the veil.

The door is open.

The Emperor will find him.

It's only a matter of time now.

But there is hope.

You have an opportunity to help him, if you help me.

As an artist,

I would think that you would relish the opportunity to study the temple.

Do you even realize what it is?

That portal...

It's not just a way into the temple...

It's a...

Pathway between all time and space.

He who controls it controls the universe.

Well?

They took Sabine into one of the buildings

on the far side of the site.

Get down!

What about Ezra?

Did he get inside the temple?

Honestly, Zeb, I don't know where he is,

and I doubt he does either.

EZRAI Hello?

Master Yoda?

Obi-Wan?

Where are you?

Those voices...

Where are they coming from?

We'll see each other again.

I believe that.

Let go of everything you fear to lose.

The belonging you seek is not behind you...

This is our most desperate hour.

MAZI ...that is.

Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

You're my only hope.

You never would have made it as Obi-Wan's Padawan,

but you might make it as mine.

H9)'-

I've seen you before.

Yeah, whenever Ahsoka was around,

you were always close by.

How did you get here?

Can you help me?

I was sent here, but I'm not sure why.

What is this?

What are you showing me?

No.

Ahsoka!

It can't be.

No! No!

What? What can I do?

Ahsoka!

I discovered these images

while going through the Jedi Temple archive on Coruscant.

Still not interested.

I doubt that.

Now, these three figures appear

throughout the Jedi's recorded history.

Mmm-hmm. They're archetypes.

Yes, precisely.

They're sometimes referred to as the Father, Son, and Daughter.

Now, do you notice anything about their depiction

on the Lothal temple?

I... I don't know. They look the same to me.

I am no fool, Lady Wren,

so do not mistake my pleasant demeanor for weakness.

The painting has changed.

You noticed that, huh?

Yes.

The Loth-wolves have moved.

In fact, they now form the portal.

I also find it interesting that the position of the Daughter's head

and the hand of the Father has changed.

Do you care to share what their significance is?

The... The hands are a language.

I could find no similarity between it

and any known language.

How is it that you can read it?

Remember? I'm smarter than you.

Lady Wren, I had hoped we could have

a civil conversation about art,

but I see the Mandalorian in you

only understands one form of discourse.

Now, where were we?

Ahsoka?

Ezra?

You look...

Wait, what happened?

Where am I?

You were fighting Vader.

Obi-Wan once thought as you did...

I saw you in there.

He was going to... Sol... I grabbed you,

and I pulled you out of there.

DARTH VADER". You don't know the power...

- Anakin. .. -...of the dark side.

Morai? You're here?

- Morai? - I am Daughter...

She's an old friend.

I owe her my life,

and now I owe you that as well.

How did you get here?

And where's Kanan?

You've missed a lot.

Okay, Hera, what're you thinkin'?

These are mobile command centers, ok?

Yeah? Oh...

I like where this is going.

Chop, you keep an eye out for Ezra.

Okay. Let's move.

This place is ancient.

Like a world between worlds.

Yeah.

It feels like that dream where I met Dume.

The creature named Dume...

It appeared after Kanan died?

That has to be more than a coincidence.

I know.

Caleb Dume...

A wolf named Dume...

What does it mean?

Perhaps Kanan's will is still at work through the wolf.

How could that be?

Well, Kanan is part of the cosmic Force now.

There are ways those who have passed on may still guide or influence the living.

It's not impossible.

But if it was Kanan who sent me here, then...

What is it?

I thought I was sent here to stop the Empire,

but then I found you.

Don't you see?

You think that Kanan sent you here to help me?

Not just you!

Want a ride?

I... I can do it!

I can save Kanan just like I saved you!

Ezra...

You can learn what it truly means to be a Jedi...

Ezra, wait!

Kid, I'm about to let everyone in on the secret.

I survived one war.

I'm not ready for another one.

Battles leave scars... Some you can't see.

This way!

One of these portals must lead to Kanan.

Ezra, think about what you're doing.

I know what I'm doing!

Here, in this place, I can change things.

I can stop Kanan from dying.

You don't know that.

Yes, I do.

If I can change your fate, I can change his.

I can reach him.

Ezra.

Kanan gave his life so that you could live.

If he is taken out of this moment,

you all die.

You don't understand what you're asking me to do.

Yes, I do.

You can't save your master, and I can't save mine.

I'm asking you to let go.

Kanan!

I'm sorry, Ezra, but you must see.

Kanan found the moment when he was needed most,

and he did what he had to do, for everyone.

That's the lesson.

I didn't see it, but now...

Sometimes I wish my life were different.

I wish I could see my mom and dad.

Why can't things be like they were?

We can't stay here.

You opened the door to this world.

Do you know how to close it?

Sabine will know.

We can do it together.

They'll be so happy to see you.

I can't go with you.

Perhaps I can.

Ezra Bridger and Ahsoka Tano...

Mine at last!

Come on. Hurry.

Almost got it.

Get ready to send Sabine a signal.

I'll tap it out ok before blastoff.

The Father is clearly showing the way to the portal.

The wolves are the portal guardians.

Okay. What about the owl?

A servant of the Daughter,

or possibly the Daughter herself

when acting as a spirit guide.

Hmm. So if the Daughter opens the gateway...

- The Son would close it. - Oh.

There's something I didn't know.

Yeah, see? We can help each other.

Minister, something's happening to the portal.

SABINEI A-ha!

I know that language too.

Sorry about the mess.

I can't hold it!

Are you all ok?

Run!

- You good? - Yeah.

We gotta get to the temple painting.

What about Ezra?

He's on his way.

Ahsoka!

Show me the way, Ezra.

Help me.

Ahhh! He's coming through!

Keep going! You can make it!

When you get back, come and find me!

I will. I promise.

May the Force be with you, Ezra Bridger.

No!

Ezra!

Come on, come on! Get up!

We're leaving.

No!

We have to seal the portal.

Come on.

Look out!

Chopper's got 'em. Let's move.

Sabine, which one do I activate?

The Son. That one.

Stop him!

The future, by its nature, can be changed.

Chopper, get us out of here!

The temple, it's collapsing!

What have they done?

The knowledge... Everything will be lost!

No!

It's gonna be close!

The Force will be with you, always.

If this is what you and Kanan used to do on your Jedi missions, you can keep it.

Where's Hera?

She's outside.

Ezra, you gotta see.

Where are we?

The temple.

What?

Where?

I mean, how?

You tell me.

Kanan and I stood here, when we first came to the temple.

He's gone now, isn't he?

I mean, really gone.

Yes.

I know what we have to do now.

In a way, Kanan showed me.

One last lesson.

Good-bye, Kanan.
