It's unlike you to run so far away,

given how you like to show off in the midst of the action.

I'll put an end to your running around like a mouse,

Erica Blandelli.

I'd prefer you to say that I'm fluttering about like a swallow,

Lili.

My wings...

Steel that becomes the form of my phantom blade...

Il Maestro, grant me power!

Cuore di Leone!

Sharpen it

Slash it up

CAMPIONE!

What do you want to know?

Hey, tell me

Prayers don't make it to Heaven

You smiled and all you said was that

You wanted to protect me

The usurper that forces people to know

What it means to be strong

Tell me everything about your soul

Within all the words that make up this legend

There are all of these feelings that connect us

The blade that showed your courage

Open the door and take the miracle

Wind, Rain, Wolf

I guess we managed to get away for now...

Kusanagi!

Sorry, Mariya...

Just let me rest for a little while.

After I use the Bird of Prey for an extended time...

Please try to relax!

Why?

Our bodies can't be affected by normal magic.

The only exception is when magic is directly injected into us...

So that's what Erica was doing...

I-1 thought she was just behaving indecently.

Kusanagi!

It's fine...

You can't...

Even without magic, I can still do something.

You keep using those dangerous powers you have.

You really are quite reckless, aren't you?

Mariya...

This is what my mom did whenever I got hurt.

She was a normal person, who didn't know any magic,

but it did help the pain subside.

So,

I can do the same for you.

Don't think for a second that you can escape me

with those slow feet!

I suppose you have a point.

Then I'll have to drive you away by force!

Damn.

You always did like using your legs too much.

Lili, you still run your mouth when you start to get worked up.

Knights should fight more elegantly!

Elegantly? You must be kidding.

You always thrash about like a horse.

I'd prefer you to say that I'm gallant

like a lion!

Then I shall fly high like the falcon.

I trust you are prepared.

H-Hey, Mariya...

About that old man...

Huh?

That Authority...

For starters, we'll have to do something about that wolf.

I'm sorry.

I don't know what that was, either...

Mariya?

The sun, the strongest source of light.

The beast that swallowed and assimilated it.

He is not of darkness.

Your sixth sense...

Did you see something?

Sorry to interrupt you two.

Amakasu?

Erica is in trouble.

I'd expect no less from you, Lill.

After all, you command flight magic.

Hey, Lili!

Do you serve Duke Voban of your own volition?

I know you very well.

You wouldn't willingly go along with any random tyranny the Duke had in mind.

It's all your fault! You wouldn't willingly go along with any random tyranny the Duke had in mind.

This is because you seduced Godou Kusanagi ,

and you now sit beside him as his mistress!

Huh?

My grandfather was inspired by that.

Wait.

So he forced his own granddaughter to become a King's mistress?

Enough!

As a knight, I shall fulfill any obligation I have to my King!

Please stop!

Yuri...

Please... Just stop it!

Four years ago,

we suffered because of the Duke's selfishness.

And now, you help to further his agenda!

She was listening?

You shouldn't lie to yourself any longer.

Kusanagi would accept you!

Are you asking me to defect?!

I would not...

Mariya!

Thank you.

I've done nothing to earn your gratitude.

No, I am a proud knight!

I would never change my loyalty.

Here I come.

The drawer in your bedroom desk...

How wonderfully lyrical and girly.

You didn't...

"I hate how he's so cold!"

"But why does my heart beat so?"

"Is this love?"

"Oh, how I cannot stop my feelings."

"I cannot carry on!" Stop it!

How do you know about that?!

H-How... How do you know about the novel I wrote...

If you will treasure our friendship from now on,

I wouldn't mind forgetting about that notebook.

I could always kill you, to stop you from telling others, you realize?

I wouldn't be so rash.

If I died, people would start going over my will.

And actually, that novel just happens to be in it.

I'm so glad you decided you wanted to help me out.

Erica Blandelli...

What's going on?

Oh, Mariya.

Tell Erica what your sixth sense found.

I bet she'll know more about what you were saying.

Y-You're right.

Hey, Erica!

Find them.

Hunt them down.

Tonight is a good night!

Hounds, track my prey, and bring them to me.

That won't be necessary.

I've been waiting for you, boy...

Oh?

What's wrong, Kranjcar?

It appears you stand with our enemies.

Liliana Kranjcar hereby tenders the resignation of her post!

I won't let you touch Mariya or anyone here again, old man.

Concern for the commoners...

That's hardly an appropriate emotion for a warrior facing his enemy.

How naive can you be?

Then I guess I'm naive.

I have friends I can rely on.

Go ahead, stand above everyone, and ramble about your greatness.

You have quite a bark, boy.

But let us see who is the stronger!

Show me what you're made of, boy...

Show me what it was that cornered Salvatore!

Using Words of Power, I bring forth justice in this world!

Powerful and eloquent are these enchanting Words.

That which swallows the light must have light hidden within itself.

But wolves run along the earth, and crawl through the night,

the beasts that are avatars for a god of the earth.

In short,

it was a god of wolves,

with an affinity not only for darkness and land, but also the shining sun,

that you killed.

What is this?

While he is god of the sun,

his mother was the goddess of the earth.

Legends state that he was born at the bottom of the earth,

but he was named Phoebus, meaning light.

However, at the same time,

he bears the nickname Lyceus, meaning wolf.

What is this ability?

Words of Power that can sever a god's Authority?

Is that your trump card?

Interesting!

The god you slew was Apollo.

God of the sun, born below ground,

sealed off into darkness, with the moon goddess, Artemis!

He is the incarnation of light, as well as the earth.

And he is the god who makes wolves into his servants!

Now I see...

Words of Power that slice through my Authority.

That really is an impudent ace up your sleeve.

Let us see if your Words of Power will work on any Authorities beyond those of Apollo.

Begin!

Erica.

The two of us will protect you, Godou.

That is our primary goal.

Do you have a plan?

We've broken Apollo's Authorities.

Now we just need to hold out until daybreak.

Confident, aren't we?

You understand that my men possess skills at your level?

But they can only follow your orders exactly.

They can't respond to changing situations.

Insolence.

Go forth!

Erica...

Liliana...

Unlike you two, I can't do anything.

Nothing at all...

Plants and flowers...

Life created in the spring is culled in the winter.

That which controls both life and death.

That is what makes them a god of the earth.

Kusanagi!

Remake your sword!

Remake?

Apollo and Osiris share a divinity extremely similar in quality.

I'm certain you can!

I'm surprised that Mariya would ask me to do something so crazy.

But I have no choice!

Just as I thought.

An Authority like that has restrictions on its use.

That can't be...

I really can't do anything.

There simply isn't enough knowledge about Osiris!

It wasn't wrong to have him recreate the sword.

But Godou lacks the knowledge!

But then, what do we do?

Kusanagi!

I need fo...

If don't, Kusanagi will...

At this rate, Erica and everyone...

Kusanagi?

Mariya!

Four years ago, I was unable to do anything.

Even now, I only accept everyone else's aid.

But...

I still want to help!

You will become one of my Dead Servants, Kranjcar!

You will also join her, Diavola Rossa.

You won't be lonely!

K-Kusanagi...

Our hearts must be one.

If our hearts aren't united, this is pointless.

I want to do what I can.

Feel it

Feel me, feel all that I've seen,

Kusanagi...

Godou!

What?

A god of agriculture,

Osiris once brought good crops to the land of Egypt.

But killed by his younger brother, he descended to the Underworld.

He then became King of the Underworld.

He controls both the land's bounty and death,

just as Athena once did.

This is the unique characteristic that defines a god of the earth.

Thus, it follows that a god who brought bountiful crops

and ruled as King of the Underworld would be of the same type.

In other words...

That's...

Just like Apollo, Osiris is another god,

born of the earth!

Look...

The Duke's Authority...

You did it, Yuri!

Y-Yes!

I was able to help Kusanagi... To help Godou!

U-Um, don't worry about what happened!

I decided to do that without asking, and...

Not yet. I decided to do that without asking, and...

Osiris hasn't been completely...

Godou!

Now you've done it.

You've cut through my wolf,

and cracked the chains of my Dead Servants.

The Marquis of Wind, Master of Rain, and Duke of Thunder.

The Weather Deities!

Quite stimulating, considering I merely wished to alleviate my boredom.

This is bad.

Godou! Godou!

This is a battle between Kings!

I shan't have a few little girls interfering.

You're tough.

Boy, you're a bit like myself, long ago.

Knowing nothing about magic, I won the Authorities of a King.

I mastered power that even mages could not learn,

all through my fighting spirit and wit.

That is what I once experienced.

Godou! Godou!

Stand up!

Mariya...

Erica...

Liliana...

Rise, King.

The King... Give power to the King. Save us, King.

King! King!

Whats going on?

What are these voices?

That which holds up the heavens and spreads throughout the earth...

Those that bestow victory and grace...

Show me the proper path, for I am noble!

So that was it?

You aren't the only one

who can control lightning!

This is the first time I've seen this avatar.

That is the Goat avatar.

That which has the form of a priest,

who calls the thunder and unites people's hearts.

Boy, I shall show you my gratitude!

You have done well in alleviating my boredom!

Not good...

If] get hit by that...

Erica?

I am your sword,

your shield.

I shall fight alongside you, wherever you may be.

Right now, I am your knight.

I shall stand with you.

Mariya...

Th-This is...

Everyone's power is...

The power from those three still isn't...

No...

Avenge us.

Drive away the tyrannical King.

King, liberate us.

My Dead Servants?

Turning the voices of the oppressed into power...

That is the Goat avatar.

Breaking through any enemy or animosity, whether it be man or demon...

For it is I who shall do this!

Everyone, give me your power.

I refuse... I refuse to lose like this!

You're excellent.

Would it be appropriate to say we're moving on to the third round now,

boy?

If that's what you want,

I'll stay with you all the way to round ten.

That's quite enough!

Mariya...

If you do not cease fighting,

Daybreak.

Godou Kusanagi ,

I shall give you this victory!

When next we meet,

I shall hunt you with everything I have.

I thank you, King.

King...

Now you can rest in peace.

Mariya!

Why are you...

Did you not notice?

Huh?

The Goat not only absorbs the will of the individuals,

but their life force, as well.

Life force...

It's okay.

I have no stamina, and this is all that happened to me, so...

Mariya...

What's wrong, Erica?

Did the same thing happen to you?

Oh, what's the problem?

You also kissed Godou in front of me, didn't you?

That's because you...

I never told you to kiss him.

H-How sleazy.

S-Stop!

Erica, stop!

Godou Kusanagi is a Campione.

"Campione" is the title given to those who succeed in killing a god.

He is the King of Kings.

He is a demon that cannot be controlled by anyone.

This is the story of a young man, who has become a Campione,

and the women surrounding him.

CAMPIONE!

A paradise with flowers to pick

All caught up in the wind

A shadow passes through the light

Our simple days change in a flash

The etude has begun and the wings begin to unfold

Where do you want to fight?

Are you going to run away because you're scared?

Which is it? What are you going to do?

You'll ask yourself and decide

Love is a song that won't quit

Love is a door that guides you

Someday you'll overcome

The gods that give you trials and test you

We'll become stronger, raise each other

Move the person who kisses you with emotion

And awaken

With the nameless overflowing power that you have

The era of the rose, fit for a new age

Will become legend

Godou Kusanagi, it's the beach.

We have swimsuits, a hot spring...

A hot spring!

A Hero Arrives

A Hero Arrives God-slaying King, stay true to your inner desires.

A Hero Arrives
