What is the result?

The voting closes any second now.

[Voting closed]

Voting is closed.

[Episode 19]

[Counting the votes]

[Winner, Option C, Congratulations!]

You did it! You're first place!

[Biontech]

Chloe's design was chosen by shareholder votes.

[Chairman Park Tae Ho]

You didn't have much time for this.

Did you do the design yourself?

This assignment was a test from day one,

and I needed to prove myself.

Are you happy with what you see?

Don't be too offended.

At my level,

caution becomes second nature

when choosing people.

Under its new symbol,

the bio division becomes Biontech Life.

Before we launch the rebrand,

my position needs to be settled too.

Manager Kang,

give Director Kim Myeong Hui

the presidency of the bio division.

Chloe!

Let's not make more of this than it is.

It just so happened our goals matched up.

Should things shift, we may be enemies.

Still, I would like to express my gratitude.

At least, we are allies today.

Whatever happens in the future,

let's try not to become enemies.

Conflict is unavoidable.

Your job is to shield Adele and Min Jun,

while I...

I need to focus on what comes next.

- Seriously? - They just posted the winners.

Oh, that stings. I submitted one, too.

Hold on, weren't there consolation prizes? [First Place, Chloe Lee]

[Kim Myeong Hui, Former Director of Adele Jewelry]

[Current President of Biontech Life]

So you submitted an entry as well?

Pardon me. I'm coming through.

I didn't pass round one.

Oh, come on!

What?

- Seriously... - Come on.

- Oh my. - My apologies.

- How did she win? - I'd like to see her design.

I must snap a picture of this.

I can't believe she's finally the president.

[Current President of Biontech Life]

Naturally she won.

Get out of the way.

Hold on, Chloe's entry took first place?

[Kim Myeong Hui, Current President of Biontech Life]

On top of everything,

Director Kim Myeong Hui was made president?

Why? Have you complaints about Chloe's skills?

Show some respect for our president.

With her as president,

our family's shares lose their leverage.

If Park Min Jun keeps postponing the wedding

while chasing after Chloe...

Where's Director Kim right now?

Her title is President Kim now.

She's in a meeting.

Being president has her swamped.

It is impossible to see her today.

Is she actually booked solid?

Her calendar isn't that tight.

So why...

She's obviously going to throw a fit about the wedding,

and I need a reason to keep her away.

All I want is for her

to enjoy today without any drama.

Yes! Yes!

Yes.

Choi Yu Na looked absolutely frantic.

With Kim Myeong Hui as president,

she is terrified the wedding will be canceled.

That must be bothering her.

Exactly.

It's as I predicted.

What better time to set things in motion?

Consider this the match that lights their fuse.

It won't be long before we see if Choi Yu Na

has the nerve to cross Park Tae Ho

and destroy the wedding

that she's fantasized about.

Oh, hey.

Hi.

Word spread about the symbol design contest.

Congratulations.

See you later.

Why are you avoiding me?

Did you...

lose interest now that I'm not her?

That's enough.

I'm not comfortable with this talk.

In that case,

just be honest with me right now.

Do you really have no thoughts of having fun with me?

What a coward you are.

My heart is on the line, and you keep dodging.

Would one honest word really be that hard?

So that's why you won't push back against

a wedding you never asked for?

It's not that simple for some of us.

Facing decisions head-on

doesn't come easy to everyone.

And does that make running away okay?

Have you stopped fighting because life feels pointless

now that she's gone?

Could you confidently give that excuse

to her face?

Marry her or not, that's your choice,

but ask yourself if that choice

is a cowardly, shameful one.

[Biontech Life, President Kim Myeong Hui]

All that effort finally paid off.

It's only the first door I've pried open.

Delivering results and proving myself here

is how Min Jun becomes the true heir.

Right.

Already I can feel the presidency holds far more power than a directorship.

Board members are already discussing it.

Plus, Ms. Choi is panicking over the wedding.

Wait, you met Ms. Choi?

Your promotion completely rattled her.

With you as president, she fears you will cancel the engagement.

On that note,

what will you do about Min Jun's wedding?

You have no excuse to keep postponing it.

I need to figure out how to stall

until the rebrand gives us some leverage.

Then I can get the chairman to end it

and find a path to reclaim Dr. Baek's shares.

Will Ms. Choi just stand by?

Oh, now what?

My blood is absolutely boiling right now.

Holding back will literally kill me!

That tramp as president? How is that possible?

Noonim, please calm down!

A mistress as president?

How dare you try to take my son's place and run the group?

Got a problem? Take it to the chairman.

You shameless wench!

But then again,

you even dragged the board in to stop me,

so yes, you must be fuming.

Still,

nothing you do will ever beat me.

Keep your eyes on me and see how far I go.

You... you!

Noonim, that's enough.

You got that out of your system.

Let's go.

Falling apart now hurts only yourself.

Come on.

My gosh.

That poisonous wench! What a scary wench!

All right.

So the greed is out in the open now!

Wait and see.

All you gain, I'll rip it away!

The whole Adele Group,

her presidency,

and those in-law shares too?

[Consultant, Chloe Lee]

She designs one lousy logo and that's enough?

Do you like them?

Liking them is fine,

just don't walk off with any.

As if I would steal this garbage.

Sure, you say that,

but your eyes and hands say otherwise.

Eyes forward, hands off.

Steal from me, and I'll return the favor.

Return it how, exactly?

That...

maybe I'll take something of yours...

like, say, Park Min Jun.

Park Min Jun is my fiancé.

But you're not in love.

Interfere with my wedding,

and you'll regret it.

Sure, walk down the aisle with him.

But that won't stop my enjoying his company.

Last night's phone call kept me wide awake.

I stayed up all night choosing your gift, and here it is.

A five-carat, pear-shaped diamond.

Why are you giving this to me?

Consider it a proposal.

Nothing would make me happier than you with my son.

Before I was a bit nasty with your folks,

but these things go like that.

One second we're pulling hair, grabbing collars,

next we're holding hands

and picking a date.

I don't think so.

I'm not the type to hold just anyone's hands.

"Anyone"?

Let's skip the pretense, shall we?

Be real with me.

What you want isn't Min Jun; it's the company.

I don't think you believe in fairy-tale romance.

Does Min Jun being the eldest give him an edge? Really?

He is still just a mistress' son.

Ultimately, my Hyun Jun will

run the Adele Group.

That remains to be seen.

Nobody can guarantee that outcome.

You're scared since Director Kim became the president.

That's why you called me.

Her title plus my shares make her untouchable.

If anything, that shows how close this race is.

Just so we're clear, I am very greedy.

I plan to take everything, Adele and that "fairy-tale love."

Getting here cost me everything.

I have no plans to get entangled with a punk like Park Hyun Jun.

Hey!

My son is what, a punk?

A handful of shares, and you think you matter.

Without this succession war,

your shares wouldn't be worth a thing,

not a single won from me.

You don't deserve to join this family,

much less get a pear-shaped diamond.

Either way, at the moment,

you need my family's shares!

Though Park Hyun Jun, that punk, will never become the successor!

Say that about my son one more time.

Want me to grab your hair like I did your mom's

and teach you a lesson?

No more being nice, watch out, Brat.

Nobody beats me in a cat fight.

You little tramp!

Seriously? Bring it!

- Get off me! - Let go!

Barely anything is left to grab!

Noonim!

Release her!

- Please! - Let go of me!

Seriously, Noonim!

- My hair... Get back here! - Enough!

Aigoo.

Explain to me why I'm tolerating this!

From where I stand, you held your own.

Oh, please.

Over the years, I've watched you fight plenty,

but a bruise on you? That's a first.

A decade ago...

Even five years ago, that never would have happened.

Meddling in someone's marriage got you this.

Bad family and she's nothing special.

They have shares!

Obsessing over shares will only get you hurt.

Why not let Hyun Jun marry someone he loves

and actually be happy?

Here we go with the fairy-tale talk again.

Someone as proud as Kim Myeong Hui

set up an arranged marriage for her boy,

yet you keep going on

about some "happily ever after"?

Give me a break. Aigoo, my back!

Aigoo! My back! Aigoo! My back!

Unbelievable, honestly.

All that did was stir up needless drama.

Let's get this wedding sorted out fast.

Remember, you promised to reschedule after the family gathering fell through.

Have my family over tonight.

If you do nothing after all that humiliation,

then I can't control what I'll do next.

Sure, but tonight just isn't possible.

We haven't prepared a thing. How can we...

There's nothing to prepare.

We will share a meal together

and lock in a wedding date.

Oh, and tell my wife to leave.

What, so I have to leave?

Those were the chairman's orders.

He can forget about that!

I am the lady of this house!

Why are you yelling at Butler Ok?

She just follows the chairman's orders.

After what you did to Ms. Choi's family,

staying means a blowup so just go.

Let's go shopping. It's your favorite activity.

No way. I'm staying right here.

Why should I leave?

I am the lady of this house!

Quit sulking, Mom.

A family dinner calls for a better attitude.

When did you become so aware?

Oh, quit that.

Now that we're redoing the dinner,

walk in there with a positive mindset.

Aigoo, aigoo, you have zero backbone.

You might as well hand over your dignity too.

Also, Yu Na,

are you completely sure about this?

What if he's a no-show again...

Relax, Mom. I said not to worry.

This time,

a wedding date will be firmly set.

So

Quit complaining and go get ready.

Perfect.

As expected, my daughter has good taste!

Aigoo! Good taste? Please.

Like any of this looks decent. Awful taste.

That's why she picked someone like Min Jun.

- Mom! - What?

Seriously. I never get the last word with you.

For real!

Mom, why drag me into this again?

Your shopping spree has zero to do with my card

so quit using me as a threat.

Take the chance and go crazy with his card.

All the way to my office?

Was that a phone call?

Yes, my mom.

You know my family's complicated situation, right?

The whole two-wives situation, yes, I know.

Well, it's basically common knowledge now.

No wonder there's constant drama.

It seems the family gathers

at the house to discuss Min Jun's wedding.

Probably setting a date, I'd guess.
