- Oh, my. - What's going on?

What did they do?

- How horrible. - Goodness.

Don't look at it.

The head of the northern Jwa family, Jwa Ga Ryeo

The head of the northern Eo family, Eo Bi Ryu

Your Majesty.

The Jwa and the Eo who raised the rebellion...

are a part of the queen family.

Dethroning the queen at once...

and taking all of the queen family's military...

is only proper.

We request earnestly, Your Majesty.

- We request earnestly, - We request earnestly,

- Your Majesty. - Your Majesty.

- We request earnestly. - We request earnestly.

- We request earnestly. - We request earnestly.

What are you doing?

Eo Bi Ryu...

- and Jwa Ga Ryeo caused... - Let go!

- ...the rebellion dogmatically. - Let go of me!

I told you to let go of me!

Do you fear nothing, you fools?

Take the queen family's military first.

Make some distance from the queen for a while.

Then the ministers will soon yield.

Your Majesty used to beat me when you were young,

but you'd always lose.

Did you make losing moves for His Majesty's sake?

Don't lose on purpose anymore.

Read Her Majesty's next move.

Her Majesty wrote to move the left palace elephant to the right front.

I gave you the chance to survive.

But why did you make such a decision?

Send the horse in the center to the right.

Check.

My apologies,

but Her Majesty...

wrote up to five moves.

Stop it with the center palace horse.

With the black wagon,

the king is captured.

It's checkmate.

Check. It's checkmate.

Queen Woo

Episode 7

There are ghostly fires in between.

Have everyone leave.

It wasn't Song Woo.

The one who used the eunuchs to assassinate was...

This is mercury.

Are you implying the Great Shaman ordered them?

But why did they kill her?

Someone else must've...

given them the elixir.

The queen said we must return to the palace before sunrise.

But what's taking so long?

Your Highness.

Are you truly going to abandon Her Highness...

and accept the levirate marriage?

Even if you become King,

Prince Bal Gi won't stay still.

Don't you know how scary he is?

Stop listening to Her Majesty the queen.

As always, let's think about it together.

Forget it. I'll do it myself.

- Your Highness! - What are you waiting for?!

Hurry up with the preparations!

- Goodness. - Move them.

Move faster!

All seems well.

We should be able to return before sunrise.

What about my Head Maid?

I have Mo Chi watching her, just in case.

We must check the road back.

They might've followed us.

- Be sure it's tight. - I will.

- What are you doing? - Pardon?

Why not help with preparations?

Where did the thing go?

I was looking for something.

Come over here.

Sure.

Was this it?

The reason you came back.

I believed it wouldn't be you, my own sister.

What was it?!

The reason you betrayed me.

Because it was meant to be mine.

It was meant to be mine.

Your clothes, your ornamental hairpin,

and His Majesty!

Everything...

was meant to be mine.

I want to take back what was mine.

Is that wrong?

It was all mine in the first place!

Is that why you tried to seduce His Majesty?

You were always like that.

You'd refuse something, saying you didn't like it.

But when you saw I had it,

you made me hand it over.

Did you...

know all along?

I had no idea.

Give me back...

what's mine.

Are you sure it wasn't my older brother's order?

We heard nothing from the royal palace,

and His Majesty just returned.

He wouldn't call the mounted warriors the next day.

That's not the direction of the palace.

What on earth is going on?

It's magic.

Send scouts to the five tribes.

I must know what's happening.

How do you think I look?

It suits you well.

Have the mounted warriors replied?

It should come before sunrise.

I just need to obtain the queen.

Why haven't we heard from Noe Eum yet?

Is it that hard to catch a woman?

Let's wait a little longer.

How many soldiers can I send out immediately?

Arming the main army...

will take at least one hour.

Right now, only your personal guards are ready.

I must go to Guknaeseong myself.

To the royal palace?

If Noe Eum has failed,

I must capture the queen myself.

Third Prince, Fifth Prince

Queen, Fourth Prince

Myoshi: The Time of the Rabbit, 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Prime Minister Eul.

The sun will rise soon.

Why isn't Her Highness back yet?

There's still time.

I sent men to Mount Chilseong.

Her Highness hasn't passed by yet.

If you're planning to make her and our family traitors...

Her Highness...

is with the Fourth Prince.

How are preparations going?

You can leave whenever you command.

Where's the Head Maid, when she should be helping?

This is just madness.

Your Highness.

As you thought, Noe Eum was waiting in the forest.

Once they bite, they never let go.

Are we doomed to remain here?

The people here look like pathetic fighters.

Mo Chi is right.

The men here aren't enough to get through them.

Send a crow to the palace and request reinforcements.

There's no time for that.

We aren't out of options.

Where's the Fourth Prince?

The White Tigers?

Their presence means...

the Third Prince knows the queen is here.

Your Highness.

Live the way you did so far.

If the Third Prince really starts a war...

Enough!

Leave me.

Leave, now!

Shaman, are you there?

Don't worry.

The Chief Priest will protect you.

Will enter the palace after levirate marriage with the queen.

We were banned from the royal palace...

for 30 years now since being blamed for confusing the former king.

We believed Sa Bi's divination...

and waited for the time to come.

It's come at last.

Light the sacred fire!

We must offer up a great rite!

Even if this were to work,

the ferry dock is far away.

They'll get you before you get on board.

I only need to reach the ferry dock.

Then Eul Pa So will come.

If he doesn't come,

what'll you do then?

He'll be there.

He will.

Chief Priest Seol Joo.

Queen, Fourth Prince

To think that I overlooked her presence.

If they beat Bal Gi,

the Chief Priest will use the Fourth Prince...

to enter the palace.

Then she'll oust me so she can gain power.

But once the war with Bal Gi diminishes their strength...

Jolbon's Yeon Bi

Whoever wins,

as I planned, the royal family of Go will fall...

and a new Goguryeo will rise.

However, another war will claim many innocent lives.

If not that...

Queen

Queen

Why didn't you sacrifice the soldier?

If I hide the king and sacrifice the people only,

you cannot say I have truly won.

Are you on my side?

Your Majesty, are you also imagining a new Goguryeo?

Eul Pa So, Queen, Fourth Prince, Eastern Chief Priest

An inescapable attack.

I'll make the first move for the next round too.

Eul Pa So, Queen, Fourth Prince, Eastern Chief Priest

Get ready to mobilize the soldiers.

Yes, sir.

The Head Maid...

must've failed.

It's the queen.

I'll kill the queen with my own hands.

Come along!

Head to the ferry dock. I'll lure them elsewhere.

Thankfully, it looks like they fell for it.

They'll track us down in no time.

We must hurry!

What? They already managed to track us down?

Keep your eyes ahead, Your Majesty!

Pick up the pace!

Darn it. Where's the ferry dock?

Where is it?

We must catch them before they get on the boat!

Shoot!

Are you sure Eul Pa So is coming?

Over there!

Shoot them.

Kill them all!

Shoot.

Kill them all!

Get the fire arrows ready.

Shoot!

Your Majesty, this way.

Your Majesty.

Escort Her Majesty!

- Yes, sir! - Yes, sir!

Kill them!

Kill them all!

Your Majesty.

Mu Gol!

Are you all right?

Are you okay?

Noe Eum!

Noe Eum.

Are you all right?

Jinshi: The Time of the Dragon, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

I don't see the queen family.

They must be fighting among themselves...

to decide who should succeed the queen.

Do you think...

it's true that Her Majesty went to the Fourth Prince?

How would I know?

It's possible that Eul Pa So lied to us.

Where is Prime Minister Eul?

He should be here shortly.

I heard something happened to His Majesty last night.

What happened?

Tell us at once.

Her Majesty the queen is here!

Where's the Head Maid?

His Majesty passed away.

- What? - My goodness.

- Is this true? - Oh, no.

- This isn't true, is it? - It cannot be.

- No way. - I don't believe this.

How did His Majesty pass away?

If someone took His Majesty's life,

it absolutely cannot go unpunished.

- Absolutely not. - We ought to...

find out who did it, no matter what!

- Yes, we must find out! - Yes, we must find out!

Before that,

we must decide who'll succeed to the throne as soon as possible,

so the five tribes...

- should hold a meeting to... - That's already been decided.

Escort him inside!

It's the Fourth Prince. What should we do?

As Queen, you don't have the authority to choose a new king.

Besides,

Bal Gi, the Third Prince, is next in line to the throne.

- Therefore the Fourth Prince... - Marrying me...

will make the Fourth Prince a legitimate successor...

to the throne and everything else that belonged to His Majesty.

Through a levirate marriage?

- That's absurd. - A levirate marriage?

Who says you can do this?

Princes aren't allowed to participate in these meetings.

Tell me.

Who decided that he'd ascend to the throne?

It was His Majesty's dying wish.

This is my first time hearing about this.

Eul Pa So.

You tell me.

Between the Fourth Prince and me,

who's the rightful successor to the throne?

His Majesty had announced that his eldest son...

would be his successor.

But sadly, he passed away without an heir,

so you rightfully are next in line to the throne, Your Highness.

However,

according to Goguryeo law,

if Her Majesty marries one of His Majesty's brothers,

the person she marries will ascend to the throne.

Your Majesty, with all due respect,

choosing a new king through a levirate marriage...

is simply unprecedented in the history of Goguryeo.

Go No Ja!

I heard you became the Central Chieftain...

by marrying your late brother's wife.

It's what you nobles have been doing...

to protect your wealth and power.

Why can't the royal family do it?

Then you tell me.

Do you dare to think that you have the right to sit on the throne?

Well, for me...

If you don't,

I'll drag you down myself.

What?

Your Highness!

No one can unsheathe their swords in the Royal Palace...

except for His Majesty's army, Wangdang.

Do you wish to die?

Your Highness.

I suggest you leave for now.

Wait and see!

I'll be sure to turn this place into a battleground.

Prince Yeon Woo is now the new king of Goguryeo.

Anyone who objects will be seen as a traitor.

This was His Majesty's last wish.

The royal physician said poison concocted...

from lily of the valley was what killed His Majesty.

And lily of the valley...

was found the Head Maid's room.

Where's the Head Maid?

The Head Maid...

was killed by the White Tigers.

See? I told you there was something fishy about that woman.

This is the color...

of the dress you were wearing the day I first met you,

so I got these.

No, the color was different.

Who is this lady you're mistaking me for?

No.

It was the color of this flower. I'm sure of it.

I'm truly relieved that you managed to return safely.

Who told them?

Prime Minister Eul...

was suspicious of Soon, believing that the poison...

from lily of the valley was what killed His Majesty,

so I was afraid you'd be suspected too.

The Head Maid...

was coveting my title, so there's no way it was her.

I'm certain that the culprit is someone else.

Yes, it has to be.

It must be someone else.

But...

what happened to Soon?

Are you there?

I need you to do something for me in secret.

Did you ask her why she brought Yeon Woo here?

It's still not too late.

If she changes her mind now and chooses Bal Gi,

we can protect the family.

Soon...

She died.

Just persuade Her Majesty.

I'll hand Yeon Woo over to Bal Gi.

Then we can protect the family and...

Soon is dead.

So what?!!

What do you want me to do about it?

It's not like she'll come back to life if we talk about this now.

She was my daughter,

and your niece.

Both Her Majesty...

and Soon...

made so many sacrifices for the family.

When I found out that you had Soon,

I castrated myself for the sake of the family...

so I wouldn't have to...

fight with you over the Crown Princess title,

so how dare you?!!

Don't talk about sacrifices in front of me.

I heard you, so pull up your pants.

If it's for the family,

I can and will gladly do evil deeds,

so all you have to do is...

just do as I say.

The coronation ceremony hasn't been held yet,

so Your Highness can still take back the throne.

I'll mobilize my soldiers at once...

and skin them alive, both Yeon Woo and the queen.

However, the queen has Eul Pa So and Wangdang.

First...

you ought to gather more supporters.

We're going to the Geopnal Cave.

So now,

what do you plan to do, Prime Minister Eul?

Knowing the Third Prince,

I have no doubt that he'll start a war.

Then we'll have to prevent that war from happening.

Call a meeting to come up with a plan.

Her Majesty ordered me to bring Your Highness here.

- My sister-in-law? - Yes.

Very well.

The fact that she called me to her chamber...

means she wishes to spend the night with me.

This isn't Her Majesty's room.

What?

Guards!

Anybody there?

- Guards. - Guards!

Guards!

If we have more tribes supporting us than the Third Prince,

he cannot start a war.

But before that,

we should hold a coronation for the new king.

Geopnal Cave, Liaodong, Crown Prince Pae Eui's Hideout

Kill them all and spare none.

How dare you come here with your soldiers?

Who sent you?

Crown Prince Go Pae Eui

Did they send you to kill me?

Nam Mu...

is dead.

What a shame.

I'm...

hugely indebted to Nam Mu.

You know,

I must...

reclaim the throne.

I'll let my lord know.

Listen, get ready for war.

- I must reclaim the throne. - Yes, Your Highness.

You may begin.
