While I hope you feel at home,

you should know that I brought

you here because of something

you have in common.

You all...

have the potential to be a

Traitor.

Soon I will choose the Traitors

who will have the power

to murder a fellow contestant.

It's actually an obligation.

But don't worry.

There's a certain

je ne sais quoi about killing

off a friend

before calling it a night.

Those not chosen

will be the Faithful.

The Faithful's job is

to weed out the Traitors

and vote them out.

You will watch your numbers

dwindle as you die

or get banished.

If you're smart or lucky enough

to make it to the end of the

game, you will have the chance

to share a prize pot of up to

$100,000.

There's a catch, though.

If any of the Traitors remain

at the end of the game,

they will take the entire pot.

My name's Mike D'Urzo.

I'm 39 years old,

from Toronto, Canada,

and I am a professional magician

and mentalist.

I make a living

basically manipulating people,

playing with their thoughts,

deceiving people.

I've actually trained military,

CIA, different agencies

about how magic

can be used to misdirect people.

And that's exactly what I intend

to do here.

at banishing a Traitor.

Because as a reminder,

if you eliminate

all the Traitors,

I plan on just creating

relationships, trying to get

into different groups,

suss people out and see whose

radar I might be on and just try

and get them out first,

at least get them banished.

it to a Traitor and then the

Traitor is gonna murder you

because you're, like -- you're

suspicious of them, yeah.

I will not say who I think

the Traitors are ever.

I will -- kind of pretending to

be aloof, that you're not aware

of your surroundings and

you're not aware of going on

so people feel like you're not a

threat.

I would just be guessing at this

point.

Like, the poker player, Kevin,

he feels like it could be a

threat.

>> Right.

Because this is what he does.

>> Yeah.

>> He's very good at reading

people.

Kevin definitely stood out.

He studies a lot of what I do

just in terms of reading body

language as a poker player,

subtle cues that people may

make, so I think he will

definitely be a top competitor.

immediately gonna be like,

"Oh, he knows how to lie."

>> 100%.

>> Like, obviously he knows

how to do that.

>> That's what -- Everyone's

gonna be sussed out about me.

People are already judging me,

and that's my biggest obstacle

in this game.

A lot of people were saying

Collin right off the bat.

It's not one of my suspicions,

That's a tough call.

>> I heard Mel, Mel B.

Melissa B. had some really wet

eyes when those blindfolds came

off, and she was having a hard

time looking at people.

>> I read people in high-stress

situations to make a living.

Melissa B. is a Traitor.

>> Whenever I make eye contact

with people, I smile.

So I was, like, looking people

in the eye and I'd grin.

I'm like, "No, I

shouldn't grin.

Should I grin?

What's happening?

Like, are they gonna think

I'm a Traitor?"

>> She's right beside me,

and it's painfully obvious.

You guys are my two top allies

in this game.

>> I think that having another

winner in the house who's played

a social strategy game,

hopefully it takes

a bit of the heat off me,

because even though alliances

don't work the same way,

you do need people

to be working with.

I haven't heard anybody say

either of your names.

to do is identify

who I think the Traitors are

and build good relationships

with them and make them think

that I trust them 100%

in order to keep me around

That's how big the pot

It's empty right now, of course.

And the only way to fill it up

is by winning gold

in the mission.

Both the Faithful and the

Traitors have skin in this game,

so they must put their rivalry

aside and work together.

But the suspicions, of course,

never really go away.

And just like real gold miners,

I'm always up for a big

challenge, especially when it

comes to physical stuff.

I am definitely a runner and I

definitely do a lot of cardio.

So I wanted to test

my own ability.

But I regretted my choice of

putting my, you know, name in

the hat to go and do the

running.

It's just a kilometer away.

will get the pieces of wood,
