and here's how it's gonna work.

Throughout this vineyard, there
are six wine barrels

with your
team logos on it.

When I say "Go," you're gonna
race and try and find

those wine
barrels as fast as you can.

But first, you have to solve a
riddle.

When you solve that riddle, you
can race and try and find

one of
your six wine barrels.

And you have to carry it back.

You're going to do this six
times.

Got it?

Winning team going straight to
the final.

It's not only known for its
wine,

but it's also known for
something else.

This is a land of precious
minerals, like gold and silver.

And a lot of people have gotten
very wealthy off of this land.

And that is exactly what you
guys are doing here today...

- Trying to get some of that
wealth for yourselves

in the form of cash.

You're trying to earn your share
of $350,000.

As soon as I get home from this
I start grad school,

and that doesn't pay for itself.

It's time for the next chapter

you guys are gonna be going to
the top of that mountain.

You guys are gonna be completing
a series of checkpoints

in order
to receive exotic gemstones.

In order to retrieve a gemstone,

you're gonna have to complete
a task.

These tasks are gonna be
timed events.

The team that has the best
overall time at the end

of the final challenge will win
"Rivals III."

talk about money?

- Let's do it.

- Third place: 25 grand.

- Not bad, not bad...

- Second place: 50 grand.

- Which means, if you win

- At each checkpoint, there are
two stations,

one for you, and one for your
rival.

It's the exact same task.

If you complete that task
faster, you'll receive a point.

Once you complete your task, you
can go help your rival,

because you're still competing
against the other teams,

and at the end,
we're gonna add up the points.

If you have more points than
your rival,

you're gonna have
a very tough decision to make.

your gemstone

is under the earth.

So we're going to have to have
some fun.

- Blowin' it up.

- And, you guys, we're gonna
have to blow some stuff up.

- When I say go, you guys are
gonna race

to your first
checkpoint,

untangle your green
and red wires,

and you're going to
blow up the earth,

try and catch some gemstones,
and keep it moving.

underground.

"To retrieve them, you must
trigger your explosives.

"Untangle the cables and connect
them to your detonator.

I know the best way to keep your
string organized

is to wrap it
up nice and neat.

Easy peasy mac n' cheesy.

- I look over and I see Sarah,
who has very intelligently

wrapped the wire around her arm

into an easily maneuverable
situation.

So I absolutely copy Sarah.

doesn't get tangled.

Even though I'm racing against
Bananas,

we're still in this

If we don't get first in a lot
of these,

then there's a chance we might
not even have the option

of splitting that first
place prize.

And I want first place.

And it's a terrible way to start
the day off,

because now he's in the
lead, he's in control,

and I can
just tell that he's loving it.

- Vince finishes before me, so
that means he get

the first point, which puts him
in the lead

for getting to choose who
keeps the money.

I don't know what he's gonna do.

- That's it, Johnny.

First one [bleep] done.
