to your eighth challenge

on this season

of Battle of the Exes II.

[cheers and applause]

Today's challenge

is called Speed Dating.

It's gonna be good.

Today, you guys are gonna be

jumping from one tractor trailer

to the other

while they're moving

30 miles an hour.

>> Ah.

>> Okay?

here's how it's gonna work.

To begin, each team

is gonna start on one rig,

next to an empty wall.

When I say go, those rigs

are gonna take off.

Once they hit 30 miles an hour,

you'll be given a signal

to send the girl.

Jump from one rig

to the rig with all the balls.

She'll grab up to two balls,

jump back across,

and deposit those balls

in the wall.

When she does this,

the guy can take off.

You're gonna continue

this process all the way

down this runway.

However, there is a catch.

In two places marked by smoke,

the rigs will separate.

Okay?

Making it impossible to jump--

you'll be yanked off right away,

and your turn will be over.

Now, pay attention.

When you're up on the trucks,

the guys must stay

outside of the girl.

If he ends up on the inside

of the girl, your safety lines

will get tangled,

and you'll get stuck.

The team

who collects the most balls

in the fastest time

will win today's challenge

and become the power couple.

The losing team

goes straight to The Dome. Cool?

>> Yeah.

>> Jay and Jenna, since you guys

are the power couple,

you're gonna go ahead

and make today's order.

>> What do you want to do?

First one is--we're gonna

do Leroy first.

Nia is making these jumps

from rig to rig

seem like hopping over puddles.

Sounding a little light

these days.

[scattered chuckling]

>> Okay, guys, tonight,

you're playing Hammer It Home.

As you can see, behind me

there are two giant I-beams

on two tracks.

Your goal tonight is to hammer

that I-beam into the end zone

before your opponents.

Here's how it's gonna work.

When I say go, the guys

are gonna use that sledgehammer

to hammer the end of that I-beam

until it gets

to the halfway mark.

Once you hit that halfway mark,

the guys are then gonna hand off

the sledgehammer to the girls.

Then, it's the girls' turn.

The girls are gonna

try to hammer that I-beam

the rest of the way

into the end zone

and hit the bell.

First team to hit that bell

stays in the game.

Loser, you're out of here.

>> Well, I think this

is absolutely amazing for Zach.

Jordan has got to hold

a very large tool and swing it,

and I would be very handicapped

if I was only able

to use one of my hands.

>> Sound fun?

>> Oh, yeah.

I want to hit

This is something that's

definitely, like, his game,

so I think that he will give me

a very good head start.

[deep thundering and clanking]

that Zach has a ton of power,

however, I know

that swinging a sledgehammer

is more about efficiency

than power.

Everyone else thinks

that Zach is gonna kill this,

but then, I look over at Jordan.

He's got the mechanics

of this down pat.

He actually looks really sexy

swinging the sledgehammer.

[driving rock music]

>> Come on, Zach.

>> Keep going.

Keep going.

>> You got it.

>> I can feel the skin

peeling off my hands.

I'm literally

hitting this I-beam

so hard I can see sparks flying,

but it doesn't seem like

this beam is going anywhere.

>> Zach decides that he's gonna

keep his hand

right at the top and just muscle

it, and we're just kind

of looking at him like,

"What are you doing, dude?

Swing that hammer

the right way."

Zach is officially

screwing this elimination up.

>> Pull!

You got this, Jordan!

[bleep], yes.

>> Zach is looking over

at Jordan, and he's panicking.

Jordan's killing this.

[sighs]

I'm nervous.

This is a weird reverse

and he is not even rushing.

He hands me the sledgehammer

like we're playing

putt-putt golf.

It is unreal.

>> Just keep a pace.

>> Good, hit the beam

in the middle.

>> Just like that.

>> Let's go, ladies.

>> Keep going. Don't stop.

>> I literally give this

every single thing that I have,

and it's hard.

I feel like I can't keep going.

>> Keep it up, Sarah.

>> Let's go, come on.

Keep going. Keep pounding.

Keep pounding. Swing.

>> Good girl, Sarah.

>> You keep moving.

We're going back to the house!

>> I might not be holding it

in the right place

but I'm not gonna

stop hitting it,

and if I can just keep it up,

I think we got this.

>> I'm extremely surprised

at how well Jonna's doing.

The one person on the team

that Zach's always

saying, "It's their fault."

Now the tables

have turned because Jonna

is picking up his slack.

>> You got a foot! Let's finish.

>> Go, keep going!

Keep going. Yeah.

>> Hammer it home.

You got six inches now.

>> Let's go.

>> Inches, inches!

[air horn blasts]

>> Whoo! Yes!

>> Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

>> Good job, ladies.

>> Man.

[laughter]

>> Hello, we just won.

Cloud nine, you know.

I couldn't be more proud

of Sarah.

into that thing, did not stop.

no matter what.

No matter what kind of tiff
