That's really good.
Hey, Vesta...

Are you okay?
Allegra Adams just called me.
Allegra Adams?
Vesta's CEO? Just called you?

What about, exactly?
She wants me to represent the Vesta East office
at a corporate retreat in the Rocky Mountains.
When?
I would leave tomorrow for four days.
I can't take time off work!
I'm still working on the bid for the HighlightREAL contract.
[shushing her] Uh, uh.
[to self] Why now?
She knows that all four offices

Yeah!

Allegra is bringing in one rep
from each of the four regional offices
to a retreat in the Colorado mountains...
[♪♪♪]
[chuckles smugly]
She's scouting.
Scouting for what?
Scouting for whom.
Ah, she's not one of America's top CEOs for nothing.
She is using this weekend retreat
as a guise to cherry-pick
which office will take the lead on the HighlightREAL app.
- She is? - Think about it!
The app shares filterless photos from precise locations.
What better way to showcase all of that
than a wilderness retreat to the Rockies?
And you, Maya Alvaro, are representing
Vesta East's opportunity for greatness.
- I am? - Well, she knew
that I would see right through the whole set-up,
but you, you are fresh bait for the forest.

Doesn't matter.

There we go.
It's gonna be tough competition.
I want you to take detailed notes
and report back to me on all the employees there--
their strengths, their weaknesses,
and how we can use those to our advantage.
I really don't think I'm the best person for this.
Actually, I'm probably the worst.
Which is exactly why she chose you.
You are all going to be put through the churner,
but the cream, Maya,
the cream always rises to the top.

that you deserve the executive position
you've been working so hard for.

Just remember, I'm gonna make sure you go to college,

Yeah, but if you have to pay for my tuition,

Well, what are big sisters for?
Okay, what does the list say to pack for the outdoors?

[forced chuckling]
- [Allegra] Ahh... - [flames crackling]
...I hope you all like hot dogs.
Oh, we do!
So, Allegra, tell us how you started Vesta.
Oh, you guys don't want to hear that story.
Oh, come on!
Oh...kay.
Uh, this was just when social media was starting,
so I wanted to meet new friends,
not just "friends" the ones I knew.
Is that when you started ScrollMates?
That's how it happened,
and now Vesta has dozens of apps over multiple platforms,
but it all started with the desire to connect.
It's really brilliant.
How do you do it all?
I can't tell you the last time I had a holiday.
[laughs]
Except for this weekend.
You're not working this weekend, right?
Right. No, I'm... not working this weekend.
Anyway!
Enough about me. I want to know about you.
The final challenge of the day is...
"random words of kindness."
Tell us traits about your partner
that you admire.
Actually, you know,
I would like to start on this one, if I may.
Um...
I think it's obvious to everybody
that Allegra is intelligent,
kind, funny,
thoughtful, poised--
Jim, I'm blushing.
[laughter]
[Jim] Just gettin' started here!
I've also watched her be fearless,
independent,
and really eager to learn.
So, this is why
I'm gonna declare Allegra my partner
for the rest of the adventure.
Ooh!
I think it'd be a lot more fun for everyone
if Allegra was alongside.
And... ta-dah!
[laughs]
[laughter]
Well, thank you for this promotion.
I hope to be a worthy partner.
Moving along the circle.
Maya, what do you have to say about your partner, Matt?
Uh...
Matt...
...he's, um...
He's Matt! [chuckles awkwardly]
That's my name.
[♪♪♪]
Uh...
[stammering] Wh--
What I mean by that is...
He's confident.
He can make a fire!
Well, thanks... Maya.
That was... heartfelt. [chuckles]
[Luis playing guitar]
[♪♪♪]
- Ah! - Whoo, whoo!
Bravo, bravo.
- Whoo! - [cheering]
Thank you, thank you.
[Jim] What a night. What a trip.
It's only fitting
that my last run down Regal River
would be my best.
What do you mean, your last run down Regal River?
[Jim] Uh, well, uh-- ha.
It seems that tourists prefer warm sun and white sand
over whitewater,
so we're, uh...
...shutting down the lodge next month.
But the-- the season isn't over yet.
I know, but, uh,
I made the difficult decision
to shut the lodge down, a few months ago,
and I at least wanted to accommodate your group.
And I'm glad I did.
Thank you.
[phone buzzes]
Luis, that was fantastic, a lovely way to end the evening.
Thank you.
Yeah, uh, L-Luis, that was incredible.
I'm sorry.
I'm gonna go to bed--
if I ever want to move up from last position, um...
tch, goodnight!
[Jim] Goodnight, Maya.
[overlapping] Goodnight.
[Allegra] We should all go to bed.
We have a-- big day tomorrow!
[exhales]
Okay.
[line ringing] Hi.
Hi, I'm here. I'm here.
Tell me Allegra loves you, you're besties,
and she's giving you the contract.
She's, uh, warming up to me.
Warming up?
Things should be boiling by now.
You should be wearing those "BFF" necklaces
and be going for pedicures.
[sighing wistfully] Oh... I could go for a pedicure.
Maya.
I'm sorry.
It's just that all these other Vesta employees
are, like, really impressive.
I sure hope you have notes for me.
Uh, yeah. Um...
okay, there's Luis.
He's from Vesta North in Chicago.
Nice guy.
Uh... he's a great guitarist,
and he designed the location tech
for HighlightREAL.
Location guy. Okay.
So he won't get lost, but...
Oh!
He wears glasses. Maybe they could go missing.
You want me to hide his glasses?
I'm just saying that maybe they could get misplaced
in the river.
Uh, Claire is from, um...
Houston.
She's sweet and smart.
Filterless photos was her idea,
and she's a great photographer.
Is she taking pictures?
Yeah.
Start taking pictures, Maya.
I need you to be snapping selfies
like you're getting paid to promote trees.
Why?
Claire's obviously assembling an arsenal,
and I need you to do the same,
because, when Allegra launches HighlightREAL,
I need your pictures attached to the profile.
"Nature influencer."
I got it.
Um... and then there's...
Matt.
You paused.
I-I what?
You said, "And then there's Matt,"
and you paused
like you were lost in a daydream.
[scoffs]
No, I-I'm not daydreaming.
He's just...
it's-- Matt's just, um...
Handsome, charming, and a great dancer?
Maya, I've seen him work his magic
at many a holiday party.
It's an act...
like a Venus flytrap.
He sets a very safe and inviting atmosphere,
and then... [claps hands]
Don't fall for it.
You're smarter than that.
It's just that we're on the same team.
It would be hard to try to get rid of him
and finish in first place.
Competition too tough for you?
No!
And... maybe it's not a competition.
Maybe Allegra is just trying to--
It is a competition, trust me.
It's dog-eat-dog, and you better start eating,
or you're gonna be dinner.
[♪♪♪]
[♪♪♪]
[Matt exhales]
Ain't no coffee like camping coffee.
- [Maya chuckles] - What's going on?
I just-- I can't seem to...
Oh. Well, it's, uh, all about the spark.
[click]
- There it goes. - Thanks.
Pretty amazing view, huh?
- Yeah! - Yeah.
Oh.
[dryly] Gotta take a picture.
[shutter clicks]
Morning, guys. How'd you sleep?
Like a baby.
Ah!
You know, I never understood that saying.
I'm the oldest of five siblings,
and let me tell you--
- babies do not like to sleep. - [Matt snorts]
Hmm! Well, then, I slept like a baby.
Hmm?
Lots on my mind.
Um, shutting down the lodge--
I never really said it out loud
until I told all of you last night.
Do you know what you're gonna do instead?
Nah, I've spent most of my days out here alone.
Seen a lot of people come, a lot of people go.
Hmm.
Well, sometimes, I wonder
if I've let-- [deep breath]
...life and love pass me by.
Well, it's never too late to start something new.
Look at me!
Look at Allegra.
She might seem more interested
in eliminating analog instead of actual logs,
but the retreat was her idea.
You might be right.
Sometimes, our differences
end up complementing each other the most.
Well, you know what they say-- opposites attract.
[Jim] Hmm.
Hey. You know what you should do?
Bring Allegra her morning coffee.
Really?
Yeah, that's a good idea.
Yeah.
Okay. All right.
Hey, Jim, that's a lot of eggs.
You cookin' breakfast for a giant?
[Jim chuckles]
These eggs are not for scrambling.
[whack]
- Bull's-eye! - Whoo-hoo!
- Nice. - Yeah.
Nice demo, Matt!
Endurance, precision--
plain and simple,
it's a race.
Every time you hit the bull's-eye,
30 seconds will be taken off your final time.
Now balancing an egg on a spoon,
you will take it from this central station
to a target area further down the path,
where you must hit six targets.
After a successful hit, return for another egg.
You drop the egg, you come back.
You miss the target, you come back!
Are you ready?
And go! [blows whistle]
Go, go, go, go!
Go, go, go! Go, go!
So what's with all the pictures you keep taking?
I'm just making memories.
Oh, yeah? I'm sure you can't wait to get home
and relive this whole thing.
What's that supposed to mean?
It means whatever you're doing here,
it's clearly not to enjoy the great outdoors.
So whatever angle you're playing,
I'm not gonna let you sabotage me again.
I'm here for the great outdoors!
I love wilderness!
Okay...
- [splat] - Yes!
- [whoosh] - [splat]
- [splat] - Whoo!
[whoosh]
Oh, so close!
[♪♪♪]
- [splat] - Yes!
[splat]
Ee! Ohh!
Darn it.
[♪♪♪]
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
[splat, splat, splat]
[splat]
Yeah!
[shutter snaps]
[laughing]
[splat]
[gasps]
[♪♪♪]
You've got a little egg on your face.
Literally or metaphorically?
Literally.
So have you decided if you're gonna be
going on with the, uh, raft?
[indistinct exchange]
It's gonna be considerably rougher from here on out.
The offer to walk back still stands.
Oh, I'll be riding the waves till the very end.
Good.
But I may need two or three more of these.
[chuckles] That's funny.
Uh...
okay.
[♪♪♪]
[Jim] Big water ahead!
You're gonna be fine.
It's actually a lot of fun.
"Fun"?
- Yeah, fun. - No, "fun"
is trying to find a seat on the subway during rush hour.
This is not fun.
[♪♪♪]
Whoo!
[overlapping hooting]
[♪♪♪]
[Matt] Aren't you loving this?
Whoo!
[Jim] Great stuff!
[Matt] Whoo-hoo-hoo! We did it.
- [cheering] - Whoo!
Yeah!
One! Two! Three!
- [all] Whoo! - [paddles clacking]
[laughing]
See? I told you it was gonna be fun.
Yeah, it was-- it was pretty fun.
I saw you smiling!
[bashfully] Yeah.
Here, um--
- let's take a selfie. - Yeah.
[♪♪♪]
[shutter snaps]
Good job.
[Matt laughs] You too!
[♪♪♪]
Yeah, I thought I'd be further up the leaderboard.
I hit three bull's-eyes.
You also egged your partner.
- Hmm! - Right.
That was unfortunate.
Sorry, Maya.
[dubiously] Mm-hmm.
[chuckles]
Well, I might be in last place,
but, uh, I set up my tent, and that is a win for me!
[giggles]
[Allegra] Well, that was quite
the wild ride downriver today, huh?
- Yes! - Yeah!
- [group clapping] - Whoo!
So, our next challenge will be more of a reward--
something where you can sit back,
relax, and enjoy the view.
I'm just gonna straighten out my name.
[♪♪♪]
Excuse me.
Oh. Yeah.
There it is.
[chuckles] That's a lot better.
[exhales contentedly]
[hollering] You got this!
Whoo!
This is gonna hold us... all the way across?
Yeah. Industrial-strength cables.
You couldn't be safer...
unless, of course, we were on the ground.
[laughs in disbelief]
I think I would prefer being blindfolded.
[♪♪♪]
All right, ready?
No.
[Luis] Seriously!
It's so easy!
It really is!
Thanks! I feel so much better now!
Not helping, Luis!
Let's go!

[Maya] Yeah, that was... pretty great.

That was a close one.
[Maya chuckles drolly]
Wow.
I got this.
Pull up with your core!
[grunting intensely]
Okay, maybe, maybe...
Uh, I don't know if I can do that one.
Yeah... yeah.

does look a lot more physical
than just sitting and screaming,
but I-I think it's doable.
If I just righten myself into...
Okay. Sixth grade?
We took this class trip to Coney Island,
and our cart got stuck on the rollercoaster...
- Eh. - ...At the edge
of the highest point.
Six hours later,
the fire department was able to get us down.
Okay, yeah, that sounds terrifying.
But that is... not this.
You can do this. Hey.
We... We can do this.
I don't know.
All right, look.
We haven't won a challenge yet.
This-- This is our chance.
I'll even take a video.
I'm sure it'll impress
whoever you're taking all these photos for.
What do you say?
[Luis] I got it!
- Yeah? - Yeah, I got it figured out.
You want help?
[chokes up] I'm sorry.
I can't.
[♪♪♪]
[♪♪♪]
Whoa...
Well, I've got some good news and some bad news.
Bad news is, we were burgled by a bear.
Seems that somebody left their food in the tent,
which attracted said bear.
Now, nobody's to blame,
but, unfortunately,
the bear did make off
with our provisions for dinner tonight.
All right, so what's the good news?
The good news is, tonight's dinner is,
"you catch it, you eat it"--
gourmet meal foraged from the bounty of the wild.
So after we finish cleaning up this mess here,
I'm gonna teach you how to fish. Mm-hmm.
Uh, hey, Luis?
I found your glasses.
You left them on the platform.
Thank you, Maya.
I was worried there might be a bear out there,
wearing my glasses.
I couldn't do anything without these.
- Thank you. - You're welcome.
[♪♪♪]
[sighs]
[Matt] Hey-hey.

Hey, um... sorry about my panic attack.
Nah. You don't gotta apologize.
Besides... well,
to tell you the truth,
I didn't want to be up there anyway.
If I'm being completely honest,
I, um...
I'm a little afraid of heights.
Yeah!
Don't tell anyone.
[chuckles] Okay.
[shrieks] Fish!
[shrieking] Ahh! Whoo-hoo!
[Matt] That was fast.
Okay, slow, slow. Reel it in.
That's it, that's it.
Okay, give it some slack, if it wants to run.
That's it!
You're doing great. Okay, it's surfacing!
It's a...
[yells] Ah-- ...a branch?
Yeah, it's a branch.
Oh.
Uh, you know what? I wouldn't worry about it.
You know, fishing's not for everybody,
but there is another way you can contribute to dinner.
Lucky for us,
it's mushroom season,
and there should be plenty to harvest,
south side of that slope.
Here's a little tip.
Check out the base of Douglas Firs.
You remember what those look like?
Like the ones who need a moisturizing mud mask.
Uh...
Yes?
- Yeah. - Yeah.
Okay. Matt, why don't you
go with her and be back before sundown?
- Let's go! - Have fun! Bring a basket!
And a log for dinner-- great.
[Matt] Hey! Did you find anything yet?
Just these.
Uh, that's a pine cone.
Ahh. Ha!
And that is bark.
Well, I just don't want to show up empty-handed.
[Matt] I bet you there's a lot of mushrooms over there.
[Maya] Uh-uh. Nope.
No, come on. Look-- all the Douglas Firs?
I would not cross this bridge
if there was guaranteed treasure on the other side.
It'd be a great photo.
No, that's your thing, not mine. Okay?
If you wanna come to Queens in the middle of the night,
I'm your gal,
but I am not stepping foot on this bridge.
I don't like heights either,
but we can do this...
together.
What do you think?
I can't believe I'm gonna-- okay.
That's it!
Easy.
Easy...
It's actually way higher than I thought.
Yeah! Oh, great, great.
Thanks.
[taken aback] Wow.
[panicked] What? What-what-what? What is it?
What is it?
It's incredible.
Wow.
[♪♪♪]
Thank you.
[♪♪♪]
- You see over there? - Wow.
- It comes around? - Yeah.
[♪♪♪]
[Maya] Are you sure we can eat these?
[Matt] Well, let's ask Jim.
Who decided this, anyway?
I mean, was it someone who just said, um,
"Hey, these could kill you,"
or "these could make you feel sick."
Mm-hmm.
Or... "These would go great with steak."
[both chuckling]
Whoa.
Do you hear that?
[water crashing distantly]
What is that?
It sounds like a waterfall.
- [she gasps] - Come on!
[♪♪♪]
[falls thundering]
[Matt] That's it.
All right?
Whoa... wow.
What do you think?
I love it!
You can't find this back home.
I could stand here all day.
"Maya from Manhattan."
Why do you keep calling me that?
I don't know. You called me "Malibu Matt."
I thought it was some East Coast term-of-endearment thing,
like "Jenny from the block."
I mean, I could stop, if it bothers you.
Nah, it's okay.
I kinda like it.
I can't believe tomorrow's our last day.
- I know. - [shutter snapping]
I don't want it to end.
Hey, do you want me to take a photo of you?
I mean, you haven't taken one all day.
Huh.
I guess I've just been too busy enjoying myself.
Besides, some things are best kept where they are.
[chuckles] I completely agree.
[♪♪♪]
As much as I love our little oasis,
we should probably get back.
Yeah.
Back to our cut-throat corporate retreat
with death-defying challenges.
- "Ooh!" - Ooh!
[laughing]
Uh...
is it just me,
or does it feel like we're going in the wrong direction?
No, it's the-- the same path we took
right before we crossed the bridge.
Are you sure? Because I think
we took a couple of wrong turns back there.
What? Wrong turn? No.
No, no.
I mean, it's possible this is the scenic route.
Or...
it's possible we're lost.
Yeah.
I think we might be lost.
Okay.
Okay, if I remember anything from Scouts,
it's, "If you are lost,
stay where you are until help comes."
Or... we could stop saying we're lost.
Yes.
- Yeah. - Yeah, 'cause we're just...
exploring alternative routes.
By going the wrong direction.
- Yeah! - Yeah.
[chuckles weakly] Yeah.
"Direction."
What? You have a compass?
Yeah!
North. Okay.
Jim said that the mushrooms
were on the "south-facing slope."
Okay...
The Regal River runs east to west--
- West. - ...Which means...
- Follow me! - Okay.
And you're sure it's this way?
- Yes. - Okay.
Absolutely. I mean, it's gotta be this way, right?
How long have you had the compass?
- Well, that's besides the point.
[♪♪♪]
[gasping]
We're back.
You did it!
I-- I am impressed.
I am, too.

Hey, guys!
Hey!
Glad to see you two back.

Oh, yeah. Got a basketful of tricks.
Cedar bark.
[gasps] Ooh!
I wasn't sure if it was--
Perfect!
See? It's perfect.
It's perfect.
Okay.
[Allegra] For our next challenge,
we're going to be calling on our culinary skills.
Luis and Claire caught not one,
but two steelhead salmon,
so we each get to prepare a filet.
- Ooh! - Mm.
[Jim] Allegra sourced some violets,
wild greens, and chicken of the woods,
and we do actually have some pantry items
that our bear left behind.
Oh, and Maya and Matt
scavenged some really great goodies for us to try, so...
- Let's get cooking. - Yeah!

Well, I wanted to come in
and make sure that the windows
in your corner office are nice and clean.
My corner office?
You sound surprised.
I expected you to tell me
that you'd secured the project,
so I've been prepping for your promotion.
Exciting developments about that.
Oh? Tell me more.
I'm pitching the launch tomorrow
in conjunction with our last day here,
adding a real-time element to the app,
and livestreaming the raft through Breakneck Bend.
I think The Times will pick it up,
and it could go viral.
Maya, that's genius.
Well, it's not just me.
Matt and I came up with the idea,
so it's a...
collaboration between Vesta East and West.
Oh?
Yeah.
Turns out we make a really good team,
and I think Allegra will agree
that the power of partnership is the right move for Vesta.
So you haven't told Allegra yet?
No, not yet,
but we will, first thing in the morning.
Speaking of which, that is gonna come quickly,
so, um, I'm gonna go.
Goodnight, Marilyn.
[♪♪♪]
[♪♪♪]
[♪♪♪]
[♪♪♪]
Good morning.
[♪♪♪]
So this is what you really think of me?
Matt, I--
"Teacher's pet."
"Unpleasant."
"More confident in his ideas than he should be."
No, I didn't mean--
I thought that, but I--
And all this stuff about Luis and Claire?
I knew there had to be something--
this was too good to be true.
This whole time, we were supporting you,
sharing with you, and you were what?
Taking notes?
To make yourself look better?
To use against us? For what?
[sighing]
I knew I should never have let myself trust you.
No--
[Allegra] Good morning.
And an especially good morning to you, Maya Alvaro.
Oh, don't be so humble.
I've been on the phone with Marilyn all morning.
Your idea-- to launch HighlightREAL
as a livestream during our Breakneck Bend raft?
And geotag the lodge?
I can't wait to tell Jim!
It's a brilliant idea, Maya.
I'm impressed.
Yeah.
Great idea, Maya.
Congratulations.
No, Matt, I--
I've already sent press releases
to all the major tech publications.
I'll be sending you an app prototype.
You are going to create HighlightREAL's
very first account,
and when it launches,
everyone will be watching.
Well done, Maya.
You've certainly shown us who you are
and what you're capable of.
[♪♪♪]
[phone buzzes]
[forced cheer] Hey, sis!
How's it going?
Everything's good...
hopefully great.
What is that?
I think it's my application decision.
[blurts] Well? Open it!
Now remember--
it's all about the student, not the school.
- Any college would be lucky to-- - Oh, wow.
What?
What is it?
It says...
based on my current application and GPA--
...I qualify for early admission
with financial assistance!
Yes!
[laughing] Yes.
I'm going to NYU!
[resumes crying]
You're crying.
I'm just so happy for you.
You were crying before I opened the letter.
What's going on over there?
[sniffs]
I, uh...
I just got myself in a mess,
and I don't know how to get myself out.
[sniffles] It seems like whatever choice I make,
I'm gonna lose something really important.
Well, what would you tell me to do?
[chuckles ruefully]
Okay.
I'm gonna call Mom and Dad,
but thank you for everything, and good luck.
Love you.
[smooch]
[♪♪♪]
[zippers zipping]
Oh, there you are.
Where's your horse?
My horse?
Yeah, you're my knight in shining armor--
saving the day by saving the lodge.
You all right?
Yeah.
I, uh, just got some really great news.
Oh...
so that's your happy face, huh?
[both snickering]
Well, uh, you know,
maybe we could, uh, turn this into a great day, mm?
We could start by celebrating with a bottle of champagne
at the fire after our raft, huh?
You are coming to the final raft, right?
I am.
I'm livestreaming from
the very first HighlightREAL account.
Yeah. Livestreaming, yeah.
Allegra kept using the word "livestreaming,"
and I have to admit, I kept nodding,
like I knew what she was talking about.
It just means that I'm recording live footage
that's being watched in real time
from people all over the world.
Wait a second. So this whole
"global press release"
for the Whitewater Lodge is true?
Yeah. I predict many bookings coming your way.
I... I'm...
actually speechless, literally.
Wow.
I can't even thank you enough.
That's really amazing.
Now if you'll excuse me,
I've got a whitewater raft to scout.
I'll see you later at the raft. Thank you.
Okay.
[♪♪♪]
The camera's connected to your HighlightREAL.
When I say so,
press "record" on the account,
and the livestream will start.
Oh, and start the app now so we're ready to go. Okay?
[app voice] Welcome to your Highlight account.
All right, let's do this!
[Jim] All right, let's go. Matt, load 'em up!
You know what?
I think I'm gonna sit this one out.
Really?
Yeah, I'll walk back with the guide.
No. Matt, no.
No.
Look, I have to get out.
No, no, no! Maya, we've already launched.
No, Maya, we're launching the HighlightREAL!
Everyone's watching!
No, no, no! Boat's already in motion, Maya. Please!
Maya, don't throw away your career!
I'm sorry, Allegra!
[gasps] Whoa.
Whoa, that's so...
I am so cold!
[app chimes]
- [app voice] Activated. - [crying out] Matt!
I'm sorry about the notebook!
Maya! Just stay right there! I'm coming to get you!
[app voice] HighlightREAL is now live.
You've gotta listen to me!
I-I don't think you're the teacher's pet,
and I don't think that you're unpleasant,
and actually, I think--
- Hey, hey, hey, hey. - ...You're the opposite.
Hey! Let's hold that thought, all right?
Let's focus on getting you to shore.
That's it. Easy. There we go.
Matt, look,
I never wanted to launch our pitch plan without you.
Yeah, but you did.
No, my boss, Marilyn, did!
Look, she's the reason I was keeping tabs on the team.
Look, I have to admit,
we were trying to get a jumpstart on the contract,
but the truth is,
I think everyone here is incredible.
You're incredible!
And there's so much more to success
than a job title on a resume
or a corner office.
You helped me realize just how strong I can be,
and most importantly-- how strong we are together.
Matt, will you please forgive me?
Yeah.
[gasps with relief]
Look, I know we've only known each other for a few days,
but this...
this connection we have,
it feels real and strong,
and it was the last thing
I was expecting out of this retreat.
It's been a dream come true.
Yeah. Yeah, it has.
[chuckles]
So...
do you think we lost our jobs?
Uh, well, we did just bail on the group.
[chuckles]
Well, technically, we didn't "bail."
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, technically,
we were just...
taking a moment to...
strengthen our bond as-- as teammates.
Exactly.
Yeah. Besides...
even if we are now unemployed,
I have a feeling,
together, you and I can get through anything.
You thinking what I'm thinking?
[chuckles] We can still do this.
Yeah, we can.
Hey! You got room for two more?
Sure, hop in!
[♪♪♪]
Okay, Breakneck Bend coming up.
We got this.
[river rushing]
[♪♪♪]
That was exhilarating!
Kinda dangerous!
[Allegra] They're coming around Breakneck Bend!
[♪♪♪]
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Oh, my gosh!
[Matt] It's okay!
Just pull! Pull!
That's it!
You got it!
That's it!
Pull! Just pull.
Pull!
Yeah! Yeah!
They made it! They made it!
[Matt] Whoo-hoo-hoo!
Yeah!
[♪♪♪]
Whoo!
[shrieks victoriously]
[all cheering and laughing]
- You did it. - You did it!
We did it.
[♪♪♪]
[phone chimes]
[laughing]
What?
What is it?
Let's do it.
All right.
[laughs]
[♪♪♪]
[group whooping and cheering]
- Whoo! - [laughter]
You all took your own adventure.
Whoo.
Yeah.
It doesn't get much more "real" than that!
I thought you'd be furious with me.
Furious?
You are one smart cookie, Ms. Alvaro.
HighlightREAL is soaring in the app store,
and Jim's booking inquiries are going through the roof.
It's true.
But how?
How?
That magnificent riverside confessional,
followed by a death-defying feat of nature--
that's how!
But I didn't even mean to do that.
I must have pressed record by accident.
That's exactly why it went viral.
You can't make these Internet moments happen.
They have to happen for real.
Real people, real places--
Real life.
One question about your HighlightREAL account.
"M&M." What does it stand for?
Uh, well, the launch was Matt and I's idea,
so I used our initials for the account.
Well, the fact that you're already
working together is good news to me.
Vesta is opening up two new international offices.
Claire and Luis have
already accepted offers to head up Tokyo.
We are so excited!
It's literally my dream.
[Matt] Congrats, guys.
You two...
not only can you survive as a team,
you can thrive.
How do you feel about
partnering to run Paris?
[both] What? Ahh!
That'd be great!
[celebrating continues]
[both, playing it cool] Uh...
- ...That would be fun, yeah. - I mean, it could be fun
- ...if-- maybe. - Yeah. Yeah.
We'll deal with the paperwork later. For now--
let's go celebrate at the lodge.
[all cheering]
Paris?
-Oui, oui! - [laughs]
Okay, I, uh, might need to work on my French.
Oh, and, uh, the kissing part,
that...
that I think we should practice.
Oh, okay.
