MOTHER HUMMINGBIRD

Tonight, at the ball, the Baroness will be a great success!

You will once again be the most beautiful tonight, Mom!

That dress is absolutely ridiculous for a woman your age!

Think about it, your eldest son is already engaged!

Jean de Rysbergue, Baron's eldest son and his secretary.

If you allow, father, I'll go to the ball at Chenoncourt tonight.

De Chambry! You're here, in Paris?

I'm on internship in Paris. After that, I go back to Algeria!

Is that a woman?

Go! Visit me tomorrow at five.

Mr. Richard will be here in a few minutes.

I have an appointement with my friend Richard de Rysbergue.

My son Paul, brother of your friend Richard.

What happened yesterday is gone. Promise me you will forget it!

Weekend.

I thought I could spend a weekend with you.

Urgent orders. I'm leaving tonight.

For two years.

I don't have the strength to be so far away from you!

I dream that we leave together.

I beg you, do not tempt me...

I don't have the nerves, nor courage!

I saw you!

I won't judge you, Mommy. A son shouldn't do that.

But it bothers me that she abuses our hospitality!

Don't hurt him! I swear that Georges...

Leave me, father, I will avenge us!

Yes, I love him! Despite your anger and contempt!

You can't understand that! You've never understood!

The enemy is in my house! The enemy I always saw in your eyes!

Make a choice! Once and for all!

Magical awakening under the palm trees.

I am Miss Dickson. Since yesterday, I'm your neighbor.

My father is sick... The local climate doesn't please him.

How charming! Is that gentleman your son?

That lady is so beautiful and lush!

You're struggling, Chambry! A mistress is a mistress, never forget!

I have to take part in the festival... And I can't take you there!

In order to entertain the European colony,

the crew wanted to reconstruct The Attack on "Bassour".

Your mother is very charming. Did you bring her with you?

She is not the mother of our friend!

"Bassour"

I see a shadow over you, because your winter has started...

Months flow and the shadow grows on Irene.

I didn't know before, what it means to love.

Right now, I will play for you!

I will play... but just because I love you!

I always knew that one day, I will have to surrender to youth...

Poor mother!

Now that I hugged you, I can leave again.

Mommy...

There is someone up there, with whom you must meet!

Richard is married for two years now. You are a grandma!

She only wanted to see us one last time, and then go again...

Father, don't separate us from our mother anymore!

Stay!

THE END
