Original subtitles

What do you mean, Jang Do Sik's wife is here?

I offered her a deal.

What are you giving her in return for the evidence?

Ms. Woo's life and her son's future.

There's the weapon.

A hammer covered in blood.

You are in for a long fight from now on.

Are you sure you can live through this?

If it can save my son, there's nothing I wouldn't do.

I didn't think you would do that, but you did, Ms. Woo.

Mr. Yun, why would you take my son?

Ms. Woo, please open the window. Ms. Woo?

Mr. Yun, you are my husband's illegitimate son?

Who's your mother?

How is he my son?

When the man abandoned her,

she took it out on her son,

the dreadful woman.

Once again, I protected you, Father.

- The culprits? - Those men over there.

Don't lie.

The culprit whom we couldn't catch for the last 10 years...

can't be caught this easily.

Your niece went down with one blow.

If you were going to do this, why did you become a prosecutor?

I didn't want to lose you again, that's all.

My cause is simple. It's you.

I filed a criminal complaint for abusing your authority.

Depending on the indictment, I'll have you suspended.

Can you solve this case within a week?

I might have a hidden moment in my memory too.

Could we try the hypnosis today?

You can see and hear clearly.

Si On, no. Don't do that to her.

No!

You weren't hypnotized.

I was in a parallel world. There's another world...

you can't even imagine.

- Can I ask you something? - Sure.

You said Ji Yang Hee doesn't have any other guardians, right?

Right.

Then who's paying...

for her medical expenses?

That's...

Though she's being funded by the government,

she'll still need a caregiver.

- Detective Gu. - What?

(Parents' Day Sponsorship)

So you're saying...

there's a parallel world that's different...

- from this one? - Yes.

- And we were married coupled there? - That's right.

Are you mad?

Are you telling me to believe that?

Whether you believe it or not, that's the truth.

Fine.

All right.

It'd be rather strange to be normal...

- after such a big accident. - Si On.

Let's get you treated.

- You go back... - How are you going...

to explain what happened during hypnosis?

How would you explain how I woke up from a coma and ran straight...

to the Mugwan Mountain?

Why should I know the structure of a lunatic's brain?

- La Si On! - Anything can be seen...

plausible if you put it together.

Lunatics have their own sense of logic.

Don't you think you're the one who's trying to deny all this?

Think carefully...

what happened after I was released from the hospital.

You'll have the answer.

Please, Si On.

These people...

- What is this photograph? - What do you mean?

- It's from the Parents' Day event. - Parents' Day event?

Baekgeum Construction and Babel are the sponsors of our hospital.

Mr. Jang and Mr. Yun pay a visit from time to time.

Among the lower-income group sponsored by those two,

is Ji Yang Hee included?

I can't tell you that.

It's private information.

- Is that so? - Yes.

Did Ji Yang Hee say she named...

her son after a company run by the father?

She did.

Then we'll have to go through all the businesses that have that name.

It's been a while I showed my hand skills.

Also,

Ji Yang Hee kept singing some song.

Find out what that song is.

I think it's related to the father.

- What song is it? - What?

Well, that's...

What is this?

I know this.

Is he singing right?

That's enough. Stop singing!

Be quiet! Is it right?

Si On.

What are you doing here?

Are you okay?

You're alive. You're okay, right?

Too bad.

I was so upset because someone like you was alive.

I asked you what you're doing here.

Si On.

Am I back?

I mean,

are you back now?

It doesn't make sense.

It's as expected.

Ji Yang Hee was...

a medical aid recipient sponsored by Baekgeum and Babel.

She's getting far more services than any other patient.

Really?

Don't be surprised yet.

I went through every business...

that had the name "Sun Woo."

And you know what?

- That's Jang Do Sik. - Right.

The owner of a business called Sunwoo Capital...

which went out of business a few years ago was...

Jang Do Sik.

Hold on.

Does this mean Jang Do Sik is the father of Ji Sun Woo?

There's a possibility.

Also, the song Ji Yang Hee sang.

That's it.

Wait.

- Did she really sing this? - Yes.

Why? Do you know this song?

What is this song?

It's the theme song of the movie "La Strada" from 1957.

The main female character in the movie is Gelsomina.

What?

Gelsomina?

She used to work at a hostess bar,

and I think that was her nickname.

In past economic interviews,

Jang Do Sik mentioned "La Strada"...

as his most favorite movie.

Probably, Jang Do Sik has given her...

- the nickname, Gelsomina. - So,

Ji Yang Hee was Jang Do Sik's mistress...

and she even gave birth to his son?

But why Gelsomina among many names?

The movie is about a man...

who controls Gelsomina with violent and abandons her.

But Gelsomina remembers him as true love to the end.

You can tell Jang Do Sik's violent quality from it.

Why don't we find people who knew Ji Sun Woo...

when he entered the orphanage?

To make sure what relationship do Ji Sun Woo and Jang Do Sik have,

it'd be better to dig out Ji Sun Woo first.

Wouldn't that lead us to the clue?

But it's already been ten years.

The orphanage has also been burned down,

so it won't be easy to find related people.

Don't worry.

Me and Officer Bang will do our best.

Minister has indicated that he will be visiting soon.

If he does,

it'ill be a negotiating table...

for funding for the Biotech City project.

Okay.

If we put Mr. Yun in the negotiation table,

the amount may be increased to four trillion.

The problem is...

that Mr. Yun is both our biggest assistant...

and our weak point.

He's never developed...

the cure for an immune system.

- What? - The fact that the result has...

been manipulated and embezzled...

the investment will be revealed soon.

Reverend Park will...

take care of him soon.

What does that mean?

He's going to kill himself under pressure after he's rigged...

and embezzled everything.

But he's your son.

Would you be okay?

- Son? - He's not my son.

Jang Ju Won is the only son I have.

He's just a wolf to take...

my Ju Won to a higher destination.

You must strike the wolf's neck before you get off.

Or it'll bite you to death.

I understand.

I'll work with the accounting department...

to prepare for legal defense.

Is this why Reverend Park is often absent lately?

So he's looking for a proper place to kill me.

Yes.

I guess the next CEO of Baekgeum has...

already been decided.

Probably.

A man should know...

his place as you do, Secretary Ha.

It's a shame.

If I become the chairman,

I'll serve you more sincerely.

I should teach my father once again.

I've got to...

tell him who exactly created the father who he is now.

This is going to be so tasty.

That greasy food will only make you fat!

This is far tastier than sesame oil.

You're disgusting.

I don't even want to try it. Let me give it a try.

It's good.

I told you it would be.

- Are you having lunch? - You're here.

Did Detective La teach you that?

What do you mean?

Mixing mayonnaise with jjajang ramyeon.

Does she also eat it this way?

- Who else eats like that? - Prosecutor Lee.

- What? - I guess you didn't know.

This recipe is Prosecutor Lee's original recipe.

Aren't you tired of eating like that?

You should try it. This is my favorite recipe.

Hey.

You're a bit late today.

- I'm feeling a bit tired. - Why?

Was the outside duty with Prosecutor Lee difficult yesterday?

No.

We didn't get anything.

Why?

Prosecutor Lee's tip-off was hollow.

It was a waste of energy.

He's doing everything wrong these days.

I see.

Prosecutor, did you check out the photo?

He worked at Saekyung Orphanage ten years ago.

Did he?

His name is Ko Jae Man.

He was put in jail just before the mass murder.

He was a wanted man of happy slapping.

So, after all,

he got a fake job at the orphanage to hide out.

Yes.

Now he's working as a valet parker in Sojin-dong.

Send detectives to summon this witness right now.

Also,

tell them to get the security camera records of that place.

Why do you need that?

(Parking management)

Hurry up!

Why are you so late?

- Take care of here. - You can go now.

- You should've run. - I'm sorry.

That was close.

I almost wet my pants.

Ko Jae Man?

Are you crazy?

Looks like you lied about yourself to get a job.

Who are you?

I'm a police officer. Keep doing what you're doing.

You can't just barge into men's restroom just because you're a cop.

- What are you? - Hey, my friend.

Let's have some talk after you finish.

You were right, Prosecutor.

As we checked the records,

he drove guests' cars around without permission.

People like him are obvious.

I did drive around few cars...

but I never stole any.

We won't take it seriously,

so cooperate instead.

- What cooperation? - Ko Jae Man.

Have you worked in the administration office...

of Saekyung Orphanage?

We're looking...

for a child who entered at the time.

There were so many, I can't remember them all.

You'll remember this one.

There were only two male high school students.

High school student...

Male...

It was three, not two.

- What? - Sorry?

Which one are you talking about?

Ji Sun Woo.

His mother was seriously injured in a robbery.

Ji Sun Woo...

Oh, that creepy honor student.

What do you mean?

You're talking about that boy...

who came by himself after the incident.

So your name is Sun Woo?

I heard you told the detective yourself...

that you wanted to come to us.

Yes.

I read the book you wrote.

You also lost...

your family all of a sudden.

So that's why.

I see.

I won't be able...

to replace your mother,

but I can be your good mentor.

Thank you.

A genius boy who lost his mother all of a sudden.

It's enough to arouse public sympathy.

But...

strange things kept happening.

What do you mean by that?

Since he came,

animal corpses have been found in Director Ahn's farm.

What's worse, the dead animals have been found with smashed heads.

- What on earth happened? - Goodness.

- It's Director Ahn's animal again. - It is.

Mr. Kim's rabbit was also found dead the other day.

It's Mr. Seo's dog.

Is it also from our farm?

Yes.

What's all this? It's crazy.

- How many animals died so far? - It's strange.

- It really is. - It's weird.

From chicks...

to rabbits, Tosa dogs to pigs,

all the dead animals were found in Director Ahn's farm.

I'm sure it must've been hard to kill large and wild animals.

That's the reason why we started to suspect him.

He'd often gone to see a psychiatrist...

and been on some kind of medication.

Benzodiazepine.

What?

From all the bodies of the victims of the orphanage case,

the same substance was found.

It is a strong tranquilizer that's effective...

for not only humans but also animals.

Most importantly,

kids in the town started getting hurt.

- Thank you for coming. - Don't mention it.

Jung Nam, are you okay?

- Can you tell me what happened? - Well,

he was playing with Sun Woo and suddenly fell down the stairs.

- Was he with Sun Woo this time too? - Yes.

Director, he's there.

You did it, didn't you?

Sorry?

You hurt the kids.

What are you saying? Why would I ever do that?

Sun Woo,

kids got hurt when they were with you.

Do you think it's a coincidence?

Please stop it, sir.

That's what makes me feel miserable too.

What?

No one thinks it was an accident.

What are you talking about?

Sun Woo!

- What happened? - He just fell.

Why would he fall?

Sun Woo.

- Open your eyes! - Hurry up!

- He's bleeding badly. - Sun Woo!

He fell down the stairs and got injured severely.

- So he inflicted himself? - Yes.

He self-inflicted...

his head, legs, and even his eyes.

Hold on.

- He had his eyes injured? - Yes.

Jae Sang! Please just look into it. Troxerutin.

The eye drop that he left.

That's how the rumor started to spread rapidly.

The rumor had it that Director Ahn was a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Director Ahn started to dig into Sun Woo's past...

including what kind of child he was and how he had lived.

- He even did such a thing? - He thought...

Sun Woo would end up causing big trouble someday.

But this is really nothing.

Something really scary might happen here.

It wasn't Jang Do Sik...

but Ji Sun Woo.

Excuse me.

Please help me.

Hello.

Sir,

please.

Please save me.

Sir...

Please save me.

Did you say Ji Sun Woo would be alive?

Wasn't the body assumed to be his found...

in the building that was completely burned down?

Right. So I looked into it.

Two weeks before the incident,

an unidentified homeless boy came to the orphanage,

and I think his body was disguised as Sun Woo's body.

But I'm not so sure if he had a reasonable motive for murder.

Why would he kill so many people...

including the orphanage staff and his mom?

She was so proud of her son...

for being from some powerful family.

I think the one who benefited the most from the death...

of Director Ahn is the offender. What do you think?

Wait.

What if Sun Woo is the one who benefited the most...

from the death of Ji Yang Hee and Ahn Su Ho?

What do you mean?

Why would he have kept Jang Do Sik's hammer...

for as long as ten years?

You're right.

If Jang Do Sik was a real culprit, he wouldn't have kept it...

as it would put him under a handicap.

Isn't it...

because he knew that the hammer would not...

have an adverse impact on him.

It was something that'd help him in a favorable way.

It must be something that could clear his name.

What if Sun Woo took care of his father's problem...

to be recognized as his son?

Good afternoon, sir.

Are you drawing off the campaign office?

The inauguration ceremony is just around the corner.

Right.

Mayor Jang decided to make his first move...

- with you, sir. - He did?

He plans to climb Mugwan Mountain...

with citizens on the first day of his term.

He'll climb Mugwan Mountain?

I understand what makes you worried.

It's an event to show that he has nothing to do with the case.

Yes.

I see.

Now we have to decide which trail he'll take.

We'd appreciate it if you join us...

to look around and give some advice.

I will.

It's so itchy.

- I can't reach there. - Sir.

Yes? Are you from the central office?

Yes.

I think you need to read this.

What is it?

These are the complaints filed to the police.

(Defendant: Lee Jae Sang)

The defendant of all these files is...

- Lee Jae Sang. - Yes.

I think Yulgaek Law Firm is determined to get back at him.

Not only the irregularities he'd been engaged as a lawyer...

and even the coercive investigation at the special unit.

Then Yulgaek's next targets must be...

me and you guys.

Geez.

Why?

Are you afraid you will get a demotion?

There's no place for me to go anymore.

There are so many.

You can be sent to an island or a secluded area.

I'm all right...

as I have nothing to lose.

But what about you guys?

You came here with your trust in me. And this is what you get.

We're willing to work anywhere no matter how remote it would be.

Stop worrying about it...

and sign these documents.

Sure.

(Bang Young Suk, Oh Seok Jun)

What's this?

- Give it to me. Now. - Wait a minute.

- Bang Young Suk and Oh Seok Jun... - Give me already. Stop.

- What is this? - It was just for fun.

How could you write my name with red ink?

- Pardon? - And you did it for fun?

Do you want me to apologize?

Or should I confess?

What are you talking about?

Galileo, will you be my love or die right here?

If Jang Do Sik is looking after Ji Yang Hee,

would Ji Sun Woo go there to see his mom?

Should I go to Samuel Senior Care Center?

Who is it at this late hour?

What brings you here at this hour?

- The telepathy game starts now. - What?

Between pouring the sauce and dipping the meat into the sauce?

- Dipping! - Dipping!

Between ketchup and mayonnaise?

- Mayonnaise! - Mayonnaise!

Between mountain and ocean?

- Mountain! - Mountain!

Between clam chowder and beef bourguignon?

- Beef bourguignon. - Hold on!

What was that?

You said we're married. How come you don't know it?

Did you come all the way here to claim that?

I've looked into it...

and I think you have schizophrenia.

There's a psychiatrist I met when investigating a theft.

- You should go see... - Forget it.

- Jae Sang. - I told you...

that I wish it were some kind of mental disorder.

I really wish everything I've gone through just happened in my dream!

What did you see...

in your dreams?

Did I get hurt?

- Did I die? - It's not like that.

- I did. - I said no.

If such a thing happens,

I'd never let you get hurt as long as I have my own free will.

- Jae Sang... - What I remember is...

that I had my one and only wife,

and my precious daughter.

I can confidently say...

that it was the best moment in my life.

If I can go back in time,

I can even give up everything I have.

- Take it. - What is it?

I saved the reports of the cases I've handled in the other world.

- What? - Whenever something happened here,

the same thing took place there as well.

If you investigate these cases,

you'll come to believe me.

Here.

(Episode 28 will air shortly.)

You're hilarious.

Why would we date each other?

Don't be ridiculous.

What's wrong?

Are you crying?

Just wait, Galileo.

I'll get my revenge.

(Bang Young Suk and Oh Seok Jun)

Why is she acting like that so suddenly?

Has she lost her mind because of the hot weather?

It feels so awkward.

Have you ever had a person in SIU...

- who asked you out? - No one did.

- I have! - You have?

It hurts!

- Don't lie! - I was telling the truth.

I want to do it!

Do you still...

love eating roasted eggs?

That's a stupid question.

- He'd hate it. - Do you know how many I had?

- I don't like it anymore. - You don't like it.

Don't regret it.

I...

You're an animal!

What are you doing?

- Hello, sir. - What's this?

We were just doing it for fun.

It's a mobile lie detector.

Sir, why don't you try it?

Yes!

- Just once! - Just this once!

- I don't want to. - Just once!

- I shouldn't. - Try it.

Just try it once!

- It's for fun! - I said I don't want to!

Is there a person in SIU whom you have feelings for?

- Obviously, I don't. - You don't.

- Of course, he only keeps working. - You never know.

I don't think so.

- Who is it? - He does like someone!

- He has feelings for someone? - Who is it?

Sir...

Do you like me?

Where's your conscience?

Where's your brain?

- Good morning! - Hello.

- What are you doing? - What's that?

- These are macaroons. - I love macaroons.

I made them myself. Everyone...

- Try some. - Yes!

- Thank you! - I don't want this one.

- This looks delicious. - I don't want this one as well.

The pink one is mine!

Choose the color you want.

Then, I'll take the green one.

- It's wasabi! - You won!

Bravo!

- Bravo! - Isn't he lucky? He won!

Bravo!

(Lee Jae Sang)

Come to my house with Detective Yang without Si On noticing it.

- It's good. - Let's switch macaroons.

Turns out, every last Sunday night,

the care center restricts visitors...

for a system check.

- They restrict visitors? - Yes.

Only the minimum number of doctors and nurses remain there,

and everyone else is sent out.

There are so many in intensive care, but only minimum staff remain?

That's right, and I think...

the VIP visits the hospital that day.

But...

who is the "VIP"?

Is it Jang Do Sik?

It's Jang Do Sik and Ji Sun Woo.

- What? - What?

Did you say Ji Sun Woo?

If Jang Do Sik is taking care of Ji Yang Hee,

then Ji Sun Woo might visit his mom sometimes.

There's something...

we should do together.

How's it going?

Sir,

I found the workplaces of victims from the Mugwan Mountain case.

Did you find anything?

This is the illegal bar Yoon Sang Mi used to work in.

This is the illegal massage shop Kim Kyung Hwa used to work in.

Lastly, this is the hostess bar Park Hwa Young used to work in.

I thought these places didn't have anything in common.

Wait.

The business owners are all different.

But they're all only owners in name.

There is a real owner instead.

Who is it?

Park Gi Beom.

Park Gi Beom...

He's the director of Pine Tree Welfare Foundation.

Right.

He's also called as Reverend Park.

He's Jang Do Sik's right-hand man.

Are you saying...

that Reverend Park provided...

these women?

Go!

- Hurry! - I'm almost done.

This is "I’m like TT", over.

I'm in.

This is "Just like TT". I don't see anyone yet.

Get all the information you can get.

When you're done, run to the parking lot.

Yes, sir.

Yun Pil Wu of Babel...

Oh, my!

Aren't you Yun Pil Wu, the nation's hero?

Yes.

It's nice to meet you. I'm a big fan.

Thank you.

What brings the nation's hero here?

I have a business.

Sun Woo.

Are you here to see your mom?

Come on.

Detective Gu!

Hurry! People are coming!

- Hurry! - Geez.

Come on!

- You should divide it! - It's almost done!

What are you talking about?

I understand it now.

I was curious why Babel would side with Jang Do Sik.

Did you kill all those people to win your dad's love?

I don't understand.

The Saekyung Orphanage mass murder case...

Ahn Su Ho and Wu Young Ae.

Even the Mugwan Mountain bodies...

It was you, wasn't it?

Why would I kill all those people?

People will do anything to get what they want.

But...

I also have something I want to protect,

so I'm going to do whatever it takes.

See you later.

I've seen it in the news.

A murderer killed people by striking...

the back of the head with a blunt weapon.

Do you know what happens if a person dies...

from a blow to the back?

First, he starts to twitch.

Then the brain bursts,

and spinal fluid comes out.

Let's not forget the blood.

"Human bones are ridiculously weak."

That's what people say.

What are you doing?

I hope you catch the real killer,

instead of disturbing the wrong person.

The person you want to protect...

might end up dead.

Sun Woo,

you're trying so hard.

I'm not Ahn Su Ho.

I won't play along with your childish tricks.

Are you scared?

People are watching us.

Smile.

How does Lee Jae Sang know my secret?

I can only tell you that he's been investigating.

He suddenly called me Sun Woo as soon as he saw me!

It means...

he found something.

It's said that Lee Jae Sang changed completely...

after waking up from his accident.

He changed completely?

He declined a partner position at Yulgaek and joined SIU.

Not only that, he got rid of his penthouse...

and moved to a lousy area where one of his coworkers lives.

Who is that coworker?

Visitors for last Sunday...

You don't have to look.

- It's Jang Do Sik and Yun Pil Wu. - What?

Yun Pil Wu is the son of Jang Do Sik and Ji Yang Hee.

No way...

What? He's right!

How did you know this?

What?

So, Yun Pil Wu is Ji Sun Woo?

Ji Ho,

investigate Yun Pil Wu.

There must be traces that he changed his name.

Find the dark connection between Baekgeum and Babel as well.

This is bigger than I thought.

I'll try.

This is the person.

Who are you?

Hey!

Hey!

Who are you?

Mr. Yun.

I'm happy...

to see this face again.

Do you know her?

Of course.

I know her very well.

So she was the one...

he wants to protect.

These are the papers you wanted for your investigation.

Did they really exist?

I thought you knew.

A woman called Park Sook Hee was... arrested today.

How did you know she was the criminal?

You're right.

How did I know?

Detective Gu!

Detective Gu!

Something is up!

What is it?

My goodness, Si On.

What's going on here?

Is something wrong?

- Rice Ball! - Yes?

- Rice Grain! - Yes?

Where have you been?

Why? What is it?

Detective La...

She's...

getting an award!

She set an example for the people by making justice.

We present her with this award.

From the representative of Saekyung Parents Association,

Kim Jum Seung.

Congratulations!

What for?

She was selected as a kind police officer...

by the Saekyung Crime Prevention Guards.

You've always failed to get promotions,

but the citizens have recognized your work.

- When is the ceremony? - It's tomorrow.

What?

What's wrong?

Before we got married,

I said we'll go hiking but I didn't keep my promise.

I want to keep my word from now on.

Not just two of us, but three.

Jae Sang...

Thank you for marrying me.

Let's live happily together.

Me too!

Bo Na too?

That's my daughter!

You're so heavy!

Si On, aren't you going to sleep?

Where is she?

Si On.

Where did she go?

That day was...

the day Si On got awarded.

Why did you need me?

I want to ask you something.

How...

- did you know about... - Don't ask me why.

Just go somewhere after the ceremony tomorrow.

- What? - Go as far as you can.

Go somewhere you can be safe and have fun.

What are you saying all of a sudden?

- I'm not going on a vacation now. - Just take a break, please!

"Please?"

Why?

What is it?

Is it related to your dream again?

- It's not that. - What is it then?

I won't...

be able to attend the ceremony.

I'm giving you vacation because I'm sorry.

What?

Since you can't stop...

running around because of bad guys...

like me,

I wanted to...

give you a day like a gift.

So you can enjoy...

happiness fully.

That's all.

It must've been hard to come all this way.

- No problem. - Thank you for coming.

I'm sorry, I'm a bit late.

This is the crime squad leader, Park Seo Ho.

And this is Senior Prosecutor Oh.

- Hello, sir. - It's please to meet you.

I worry if we caused you trouble.

It's far from that.

On the contrary, thank you for encouraging our team members.

Lip brush.

Min Hee.

Over-lips are the trend. Let's draw it more...

We're not drawing a map here.

Is there...

anything related to Yun Pil Wu's changed identity?

Not yet.

He's been living with a new identity for ten years now.

It can't be done in a day.

What should I do?

But why are you in such a hurry?

Is it because the mayor's inauguration is around the corner?

That's too late.

I have to get him today no matter what.

September 10th?

Wasn't Wu Young Ae's death date September 10th?

That's correct.

She was supposed to leave the country...

after giving us the evidence.

Why would she have her bag repaired that day?

You're right.

Madam Wu dropped off her bag for repair on September 10.

I see.

Was there anything found in her bag?

Yes, a tiny USB was in there.

A USB?

USB...

(Lee Jae Sang)

Hello?

It's me. Lee Jae Sang.

What is it?

I have a favor to ask.

A favor?

Please...

be with Si On today.

Pardon?

Stay with her all day, not a minute away.

What are you up to?

I know...

you care about Si On more than anyone.

My feelings for her isn't yours to consider.

That's why I'm asking.

Please be with her...

so she can laugh,

enjoy all day...

and not worry.

How long do we have?

The board of directors will be here in an hour.

Well, let's see.

Who do you think will be...

suitable for a rubber stamp?

The board members seem to have three people e in mind.

Tell us how you think after you see it.

The board meeting of Baekgeum is today.

I guess the new CEO candidates would...

be condensed today.

Yes, sir.

Today is important.

Lee Jae Sang will make a move soon. What is your plan?

Take care of all of them at once.

Yes, sir.

Geez.

There's no available parking space.

I'll get off first. Park the car and come up.

Okay.

You've contributed...

to public safety with your active engagement...

in investigations with passion.

I, hereby, present you this plaque of appreciation.

Chief Park Seo Wu of Saekyung Crime Prevention Guards.

Congratulations!

- Way to go, Si On! - Congratulations!

Please be with Si On today.

Stay with her all day, not a minute away.

I wonder if you got better at golf now.

I'm trying my best.

You haven't mastered the whole techniques, have you?

It's a little embarrassing, sir.

What brought you here, Mr. Yun?

You're having a meeting to select the CEO nominees without me.

What do you think you're doing?

Tell everyone to leave now.

What?

Mr. Kang,

I think we should halt this meeting here.

You are...

No!

Stop!

Have you lost your mind?

Why is Lee Jae Sang in my campaign office?

He'll die soon.

What?

You may begin.

No!

- Stay put. - Stop it!

Don't move!

Stop!

- No! - I said don't move!

Stop!

The new tenants will arrive there in two hours.

They'll be shocked a lot for sure...

when they find his body.

How dare you!

It's for you to choose.

You can bury his body so that no one can find it.

Or you can choose to lose your honor for good.

- Detective La. - Yes?

I know it's not a good time to ask this,

but did anything happen to you?

What do you mean?

Actually, I got a phone call from Prosecutor Lee.

- He asked me to look after you. - Sorry?

He asked you to take care of me?

I was told to keep my eyes on you all day long.

Did something bad happen?

Excuse me.

- Hello? - Detective La, this is bad.

What is it?

I think Prosecutor Lee is kidnapped.

What are you talking about?

We came to get the stuff Wu Young Ae dropped off here.

And he was taken away by a man.

- What? - I don't know who it is,

but he has a bat tattoo on his neck.

A bat tattoo...

on his neck?

He has subordinates. This one guy has...

a tattoo on his neck.

It's a tattoo of a bat.

Si On,

like a décalcomanie,

there's another world.

In that world,

I lost you.

I guess I'm the one who gets hurt...

in this world.

I'm happy...

as long as I could save you.

Welcome to life.

(Welcome2Life)

- Welcome, sir. - He's a prosecutor in service.

How dare you...

Don't you ever try to harm me.

Before we get rid of them,

we should find ways to make use of them.

They're preparing an official funeral all of a sudden.

It'd be my funeral then.

I'm the one who decides...

everyone's fate as I've done so far.
