In Salta, Argentina, the wild ride continued.
UFC fighter Bam Bam and brother Logan...
BAM BAM: You gotta eat the eyes first.
..had their eyes on the prize,
beating all the other celebs to the pit stop.
Bam Bam and Logan, you are the...
..first team to check in.
And in a sprint to the finish,
Nat Bassingthwaighte and sister Mel were pipped at the post.
Unfortunately, your time on the race is over.
You are eliminated.
Tonight, high on the Inca Trail...
IAN: It looks like it's from another world.
..our celebs take on feats of endurance...
(BOTH SHOUT) Tunnel vision. This is what we do.
..are tested in a battle of wills...
BRIDGET: Uh! (GASPS)
Of course it's going to happen. We get the one broken llama.
..and face off. What are you talking about?
I'm talking about you being house smart-arse,
that's what I'm talking about. We're not on MAFS.
Got anything else smart to say? No.
Just gonna keep making my brick. Didn't think so. Didn't think so.
Maybe when you don't know nothing, you keep your mouth shut.
Out of all the places I've been,
I've never seen anything quite like this.
We are in north-west Argentina on what's known as the Inca Trail.
Stretching across six countries,
the ancient pathway linked
the vast empire of the Incan civilisation
who ruled South America.
Those who walk the Inca Trail must battle extreme heat.
And the air is thinner up here, making oxygen harder to come by.
It was a trade route for about 10,000 years
and now our teams are about to tread the well-worn path
for the third leg of The Amazing Race Australia.
Our nine remaining celebrity teams have travelled north
to the township of Purmamarca,
and are departing in the order they arrived
at the previous pit stop.
BILLY: Oh, good rip. Good rip.
Oh, that was the worst rip in the world.
Sorry. OK, here we go. Slow and steady.
"Drive to Fabrica de Ladrillos, Purmamarca..."
"Help the locals with their brick-making.
"Once you have correctly made 18 traditional adobe mud bricks..."
BAM BAM: "..you will receive your next clue."
For thousands of years,
the people of this area have built their homes from adobe bricks.
Local clay is mixed with straw and dried in the sun
to create a thick brick
that insulates against the extreme heat and cold
of this high-altitude desert region.
In this challenge,
our racers will get their hands dirty and mould 18 bricks.
Once the foreman is happy with the shape and consistency,
they'll receive their next clue.
I got the keys. You got the keys.
I got the keys! Let's go!
It's beautiful.
Very nice. Heaps of cactus, huh?
Might be a few mountain climbs, I reckon.
BILLY: Oh, look at that. That's called red rock.
Red rock it's called.
It's part of the Andes. The bottom of the Andes.
You just keep driving up there, mate.
(CHUCKLES)
David Attenborough.
Eyes on the road.
ADAM: This is bloody stunning. BROOKE: Look at this view.
This is insane.
Oh, let's just take it in
before we have to run and then get exhausted.
Our knowledge of the Incas is very small...
Oh, this is great.
..but it's beautiful, we can say that.
Yes.
Oh, is it? Are they?
Whatever. Are the Incas people?
Our knowledge of the Incas is very small,
as we said.
Where do they live?
Where do they...?
Just keep an eye out for the road signs, like there's...
Yeah. So, now what are we looking for?
"Information 1km ahead."
Do we need it?
You know what? I reckon we risk.
Risk it for the biscuit.
OK, here we go.
You are a winner. You are a winner.
CHLOE: Em, the boot. Jesus Christ.
HAVANA: North. So, we've got to go that way.
Yeah.
EMILY: This is another pinch-me moment.
Go on, give it to me. CHLOE: Come on.
Come on. Come on, darlin'.
This is surreal. This is sick. I love it.
What we want to do is just be resilient today.
Say no to nothing. Yeah.
Go for everything. Hell for leather. Yeah.
And I hope there's some serious crazy adventures coming our way.
This is like Palm Springs.
Melbourne and the desert are completely different.
Well, there's definitely no place to get a soy latte.
IAN: Christian, how do you know it's this way, by the way?
Is there a train track on the map?
CHRISTIAN: So, our friendship, 30 years,
has gone through so many different periods of our life,
as you would expect.
So, we're going the right direction? I'm not sure.
We're confident our friendship will survive The Amazing Race...
It's a military, Christian?
Excuse me. Fabrica de Ladrillos?
WOMAN: No. That way?
(SPEAKS SPANISH)
Thank you. Gracias.
..just!
Let's go. Let's go. Let's...
LILY: OK.
Alright, first clue.
Route info.
CYRELL: "Once you've correctly made 18 traditional...
"..adobe mud bricks, you'll receive your next...
"..18 mud bricks." Alright, let's go.
PETE: Some of this architecture,
I've gotta say, I feel like I'm in Star Wars.
I feel like I'm in... I could be in Tatooine.
You love it when I talk about Star Wars, don't ya?
I don't know... I don't get the reference.
You love it.
CYRELL: The strategy is to just follow the stronger teams.
(LAUGHS)
EDEN: Yeah, we're not gonna ask for directions today.
We're driving. We know who we're going to follow.
We're just going to follow teams. There's Ian Thorpe and Christian.
Just follow them, Eden.
I'll admit it.
These teams are stronger, faster, and, well, even smarter than us.
They seem to know their way around better.
They know Argentina well from the looks of it.
We're the blind leading the blind. Yeah.
CHRISTIAN: Eden and Cyrell are behind us.
Seems like a long drive.
I hope you know where you're going, Thorpie.
He's better at swimming than he is at driving.
Ramp it up! We're following you.
BILLY: Oh, what's those colours up there?
OSCAR: Left in here. Left in here.
I think the girls got in front of us.
They won't be that good with their hands.
BAM BAM: Brick by brick, baby.
CHLOE: Parking is right here.
BAM BAM: Oh, they got here all at the same time.
BILLY: Keep hydrated, boys. Righty-oh.
Can try, You try.
LOGAN: There's gonna be a bit of labouring here.
Being in the construction game, I see this, sort of, every day.
Back home, I'm a qualified scaffolder.
And it's pretty hard work, but someone's got to do it, I guess.
But it's one of those challenges
where it's going to be a walk in the park for me.
Some of these guys and girls
might not like to get their hands dirty,
but your boy over here is ready to rock and roll.
Let's go, baby.
EMILY: Turn up to the job site...
We see a big pile of mud
and I looked at Chloe and I'm like,
"This is going to be some hard yakka."
I'll tell you what, the zinc's going on today.
For the last 10, 15 years,
as athletes, we've always either had to have another job,
a second job or a full-time study.
We've always had to graft for things that we wanted
because soccer was never going to pay a full income for us.
So, we're no stranger to hard work.
LOGAN: Grab some hay, Tai. Grab some hay first.
Let's get plenty of mud to start.
Yeah, he had a shovel.
So do we have a shovel? CHLOE: No.
Come on, girl. Get amongst it.
I was actually laying bricks as a landscaper.
I would wake up in the morning, do landscaping,
and then I would go into national team camp, play,
and then go back into landscaping.
And I did that for a while
until I made it back into the Matildas.
Remember, as soon as we lift these up, they need to stay.
It's fine. You keep stomping.
Oh.
Kick, kick, kick.
That's heavy. That's really heavy.
OK, we're good. Yeah, we're good.
Let's go make some bricks, Bridge.
(SIGHS) Alright, which station do we want?
Choose a station.
Which one do you reckon?
Which one takes your fancy?
BRIDGET: So, he's got a box.
PETER: Water in it. Wet the box so it doesn't stick.
Which is important.
Mm. Hm. It smells like...tacos.
Mm. OK.
It's nice and thick, isn't it?
Thick.
Brooke and Adam aren't here.
BROOKE: OK. Basina. Nope. Still not there. It's all good.
Oh, no. That's good.
You found Basina?
Are we in Basina?
We've gone past it. We've gone way past it.
What a tricky part of the world to navigate.
It's rugged landscape, the Incas. Yes.
Um... A little turn around-o?
I've been following my nose this whole time,
and it's led us...
It's led us well up until today.
I think today Brooke has a blocked nose.
(LAUGHS)
This is how we play the game.
This is what we do. Yeah.
Put ourselves last.
Yeah. And then catch up.
We just crawl. We just crawl our way back.
Yeah. We had... We had such a head start too.
Oh. (LAUGHS)
Oh, Jesus. We're coming last now.
Do you wanna start on the next one? OK.
LOGAN: Two down, 16 to go.
PETER: It just kind of reminds me of when we built our first house.
You know, when we hired somebody to do it.
They built it. Then we came and looked at it.
But it's very different because we're building it ourselves.
Apart from that, it's very similar.
BAM BAM: Bridget's doing all the work
and Pete's just standing there.
Look. (LAUGHS)
Hey, Pete. Have you done anything?
Oh, you caught one moment.
You caught one moment.
Bridge is better at most things than me, to be absolutely honest.
I'm the weak link here.
BRIDGET: This is our marriage, guys.
IAN: So, go right? Yeah, that's it.
CHRISTIAN: Yep. Perfect.
CYRELL: There's the mark. Yellow and red.
There it is, there. Right there. Get off the road!
Alright, let's go. Run, they're there.
Alright. We can follow Ian and Thingy anyways.
Hopefully, we're not the last team.
IAN: Level it out.
Sweet.
OK. Let's go.
We'll find a station.
EDEN: Yep.
Yeah. Oh, alright then.
Game on. Sweet. Game on.
So, at this point,
I think Christian and Ian have definitely caught on
that we've been following them.
I heard Christian making several comments like, you know,
they're getting irritated with us following them.
Everyone literally has to go down the same road anyway,
so it's not really following you.
I know when someone's going to bitch about someone,
because if anyone talks about anyone, it's me.
So, look. We're the type of person - come at us, we're gonna throw back.
Yeah. And I always defend my missus.
Were you having a dig before, Christian, about us following you?
About what? About us following you.
Were you having a dig? No. Why?
I thought you were. I'm pretty sure you were.
What did we say? About us following you or something?
We don't follow people. Oh.
Oh, in the car? Yeah. I thought it was us...
So, the Matildas... We made the wrong turn with them...
What are you talking about?
I'm talking about you being house smart-arse.
That's what I'm talking about. We're not on MAFS.
Yeah. Yeah, and you ain't swimming right now, either.
Taunt 'em.
You're known as Ian Thorpe's friend.
You're only his mate.
Just so you know, Ian, it's not you. It's all him.
CHRISTIAN: Thanks, babe.
Yep. You're welcome. You're welcome.
You got anything else smart to say, Christian?
Nah, I'm just gonna keep making my bricks. Yeah, I didn't think so.
Maybe when you don't know nothing, you keep your mouth shut.
That's what you should do.
I need some more mud.
Yep.
It's game time, baby.
PETE: We are building mud bricks.
I didn't get into stand-up comedy to do manual labour.
So this is not my favourite moment.
I've never seen Bridget's arse so dirty, to be honest.
I like it. It's kind of sexy.
Senor!
They look so good. Oh, yeah, they are solid.
They are solid.
They are solid.
It's good, it's good, it's good.
(BUZZER) Again. Again.
Emmy, it's OK.
We didn't wet the sides.
PETE: Physically, it was hard. Everyone's hurting.
BRIDGET: We are definitely a hardworking bunch.
LOGAN: Work smarter, not harder, guys.
BAM BAM: Good. Get some...get some hay, hay, hay.
CYRELL: Your sidekick.
IAN: Yeah...
CHRISTIAN: We could hear them carrying on.
I'm not even buying into it.
Like we're such a threat. "Oh, my God, they're following us!"
If I'm competing in something,
I am focused on how I can deliver the best result,
so I can block people out.
And sometimes I choose to do it in life as well.
(LAUGHS) Guys!
(BLEEP, BLEEP) ..it's rubbish.
Here... Here it is, left.
Here we go.
Alright. Time for a...
A time for a start again. ..epic comeback.
How good.
We're going to get physical.
(LAUGHS)
How are your nails going?
LILY: Yeah.
BROOKE: I think I now know why I didn't become a concreter.
Oh, the Tillies! I told you they're catching up.
LOGAN: No, no, no, don't worry, don't worry.
We're not sussing out the competition
because we're focusing on our task.
I know, but Tai and Logan are obviously doing something right
because... Well, they're some big boys.
Tillies... Tillies look alright.
CHLOE: I agree. That's good, that's good.
That's way better. That's way better.
We're coming for you, Bam Bam.
We both missed out on the most recent World Cup
because of injuries.
We are taking this Amazing Race like this is our World Cup
and we are not losing.
BAM BAM: Two more logs and we're done.
Yeah. Well, hopefully.
Two more, baby, maybe two more!
Let's go.
EMILY: We'll do a check after this, Chloe.
Check, check, check.
Watch you fingers.
Three, two, one, pull.
Oh, yes.
Check, please.
Tillies are done.
Yeah. Two.
BOTH: Two. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Two bricks got rejected.
Too much hay.
Life is about consistency.
It's all about consistency, baby.
LOGAN: Let's go, let's go.
We could build a house.
They're so strong.
They're good, they're good.
Yes. Come on.
They're good. Come on.
BOTH: Yes!
Thank you!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
OK. Come on.
Hurry, the boys are right behind us. Let's go.
OK. Calm. We can be calm now.
OK, detour. Let's go. This is important.
Yes. OK.
"Walk like an Incan, or dress like an Incan."
A detour is a choice between two challenges,
each with its own pros and cons.
In this detour, teams will decide between Dress Like An Incan
and Walk Like An Incan.
Travellers on the Inca Way carried a lot on their backs
using this, an aguayo, a traditional Incan blanket,
and they would have passed through here -
the seven sands of Purmamarca.
It's a tough slog. The altitude is real, but the rocks,
they've really got to be seen to be believed.
First, teams will trek to the mountaintop
close to 3,000 metres up.
Then they must fill the carrying cloths
with all the goods
and carry them securely on their backs down the mountain.
The shopkeeper will check the load, and if correct,
they'll receive their next clue.
Meet my mate, the Ekeko.
Now, in the local Andean culture,
the Ekeko was a symbol of prosperity and abundance.
Local tradition promises
if you tie a miniature version of what you wish for to the doll,
your wish will come true.
Teams who choose Dress Like An Incan must find the town square market
and the demonstration Ekeko doll.
Then they must tie each wish item onto their doll
using only the strings provided.
This challenge tests observation, dexterity and patience.
Only when every item is tied securely to the doll
will teams receive their next clue.
Hey, buddy. My wish right now - lip balm.
I really need some lip balm.
I think that we can walk like an Inca...
You wanna walk like an Incan? I think so.
It's probably going to be a trek.
Are you good with that? That's fine. Yeah. Let's go.
OK. Alright. Fine. Let's go.
Yep. Check, check, check.
BOTH: Yeah.
Gracias, senor.
Gracias, gracias.
Bricklayer, baby! Let's go.
I just need to clean my nails. Bro.
That'll do me. (LAUGHS)
I definitely won't be going to get an apprenticeship in, um,
Argentinean bricklaying, that's for sure.
Detour.
"Walk Like An Incan or Dress Like An Incan."
Dress? Yeah.
(LAUGHS) You know what...?
Alright. Dress, dress, dress. Let's go.
CHLOE: Emmy, I'm proud of us
for getting out of there as quick as we did.
EMILY: We're just going to hustle.
There were two challenges.
One was walking - who knows where and who knows for how long?
Another one was dress in something.
We weren't sure, we're athletes. We chose the walk.
Hi.
Hi. Can we have yellow, please?
Yellow. Yellow?
Si? Yellow.
Si? Yeah. Good shot.
We've backed our legs. We've backed ourselves.
It's going to get hot and the air is thin.
Altitude is not for everyone,
and it is a killer, no matter how fit you are.
As elite athletes, we train in altitude
so that we can be fit when we go back to ground level.
What if we chose the wrong one, Chloe?
We didn't. We ain't going back now, though.
We know Bam Bam and Logan are right on our tails.
If they pick this, they don't know what it is either.
True.
BAM BAM: Let's go, Loges.
I've got a feeling that dress is going to be hard.
LOGAN: We grew up in Mount Druitt.
Yeah. You can't compare Western Sydney to...
BOTH: Argentina.
No, it's here, Tai.
Iglesia Santa Rosa de Lima.
Yeah. Si, si?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So we've got to copy that.
Well, this is our station here.
Right here.
Just chuck them on anywhere. Get them on there.
You're more delicate with these things
'cause I'll end up breaking old mate.
Hola.
ONLOOKER: Hi.
Oh. Hey.
I'm very grateful for my career.
I'm a UFC heavyweight.
Yeah. Keep it up there, Loges, you're doing great, mate.
You're killing it.
But people want to take photos.
I'm a... I'm a bit of a hit with the cougars.
You know what I mean?
The old women love me.
Hey. Come here, come here.
Mwah!
(WOMAN LAUGHS)
You're doing good there, Loges, mate. You're killing it, mate.
You're killing it.
It was a whole lot of little fidgety...
Mm. ..having to tie up bits of rope
together just to try and make a long one,
and it was just...
Oh, it was very, um... Tedious.
..tedious.
The technique you learn when you, um, scaffold,
it's called, "If you don't know knots, tie lots."
Bro, this is... I can't do this.
My fat fingers can't, uh... They can't...
They're good for punching, not for...
It's brickmaking day.
I need some more mud.
Yep.
Mix the hay.
It's pretty amazing, Bridge. We're at the foothills of the Andes.
Look at those colours. Yeah.
Those colours are spectacular. Those rocks. Amazing.
We're seeing the positives in this. Yes.
We're going to be glowing.
We got a...here.
Yeah. We're slow.
PETE: Everyone's going to struggle. It's a tough challenge.
BILLY: We've got a long way to go.
STEPH: Here we go. HAVANA: Argh! Ow!
ADAM: A bit of stomping in hay!
OSCAR: He's slowing down, the old boy.
Slowing down a bit.
Oh, this is hard work.
BILLY: Ours are shit.
The mud is very thick,
and it takes quite a bit to move it around and grab it.
We're up in the mountains.
Altitude. High altitude. It's hot.
Hot!
We've got to carry this mud each time.
Pick it all up, carry it over,
and then you're packing it in, mixing the hay.
Your hands are getting all chipped from the rocks.
Yes. Pricked from the hay.
It's tough. It's bloody tough.
Check, please.
HAVANA: OK, go. Don't... Yeah.
Checks it... Check, please.
Uh. Check, please.
BILLY: Other people got there after us
and were taking off before us.
You go.... That's when you start to get a bit frustrated.
JETT: Keep going, lads. You got this, boys.
Doing Well.
We're thinking of, like, a nice pizza oven.
(CHEERING)
Yes.
Give me a hug. Give me a hug.
HAVANA: Yes. Thank you.
Thank you so much.
OSCAR: Where's our little stick?
BILLY: Hey? Check, when you're ready.
LILY: Yes.
Thank you so much.
Gracias. Thank you so much. Thank you.
We did it! We did it!
Detour.
"Walk Like An Incan or Dress Like An Incan."
Dress Like An Incan. Let's go.
That's gonna be about detail. I think we want the dress Incan.
That one's gonna be about strength. Yeah.
OK, let's do it. Let's go.
Let's do... Do you want to do dress? Because...
OK.
Physically, it should be a bit easier.
OK, let's do dress. Yeah. Yep.
Yes, senor.
Yes, mate. Please, sir.
Please, please, please.
OSCAR: Oh, well, here you go again.
Yeah. As the pressure builds, you're wasting more and more time.
We can see Thorpie and Christian,
Brooke and Adam and Cyrell and Eden are there, too.
Yeah. One of us could be going home tonight.
He's a tough judge.
BILLY: Yeah.
BROOKE: Oh, this is good... ADAM: Oh.
BILLY: That's beautiful.
Yeah, we got them down pat now.
Doing well, mate.
BROOKE: We are making the greatest Amazing Race comeback.
Because we got totally lost,
we are running so far behind.
We had to give up our dignity.
We did. We had to sacrifice our clothing...
Scrape it down.
Scrape. Just scrape.
..and just get our hands dirty. And we did.
Oh, check. Check, please.
EDEN: Babe, do you want to feel bad? CYRELL: What?
Blue, who came here 10 minutes after us are ahead.
ADAM: You know what's a worry? What?
After we do this, we've probably got to drive somewhere.
Mate, it's OK. It's not our strongest point.
Come on, come on. Come on.
(LAUGHS)
Yeah. Hey, give me a cuddle.
Ah! (LAUGHS)
My muscles are sore from...
Detour. Detour. OK.
"Walk Like An Incan or Dress Like An Incan."
So that's going to be detail... Do you wanna do that?
Attention... You're good with detail.
Let's Dress Like An Incan. Let's go.
EMILY: Oh, this is sick. This is sick.
I swear I'm an athlete. I swear I'm an athlete.
Em, it's all about the breathing.
Can we cut, Chloe? No, we can't cut.
Ah!
Why are you such a stickler for the rules?
This has to be it. Hello.
Hi.
Oh, no. We have to load this?
The goal for this mission is to get everything into that cloth...
Yes. ..to wrap the cloth up.
Put the wool ball down for me, somewhere,
and let's wrap it around.
No, no, no, no, no. One wool at a time.
Emily. Yes.
Put the ball down. Yours.
Put your wool down.
And what...? You...
I go around, you make sure it's done correctly.
OK. One at a time. Let's get this right.
We had a bit of a strategy. Yes.
We're going to tuck everything in... Yes.
..and we're going to get all four corners,
put it there, stick the broom stick through,
throw it on the backs.
I'm going to break my shoulders doing this. Nah.
You know what's going wrong?
The basket needs to be... It needs to be like that.
Yeah, we need to go... ..like a backpack.
That's not going to work. That's not going to work.
It has to be held up like this.
It has to be.
It was heavy.
It was awkward.
I'm sure the Incans would have had a better technique,
but at this point, as long as we get this job done, we don't care.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, no, no, no, you're about to lose an onion.
OK, you've got to... You've got to go back down.
You've got to go back down.
Yep. All your vegies are coming out.
That's OK. How are mine?
You stay.
Chloe, are you regretting this because...?
No. No regrets.
Let's go.
Squat wrench.
(GASPS)
OK, yep. Let's go.
Calm.
I'm just gonna scream soon so I can get it out of my system.
Get it out. You want to do it together?
Yeah.
(SCREAMS) (SCREAMS)
Some more mud.
Move the bucket, please, mate. Yep.
CHRISTIAN: So we knew we were in the bottom three.
Basically, we needed to nail it.
Check.
Hey. Gracias. (LAUGHS)
OK, cool. Thank you.
BILLY: Senor. Check.
What do you think, mate?
Come on. It's been a long, hard day.
Oh. Oh. Thank God.
Don't step on it. Gracias. Muchas gracias.
Walk Like An Incan or Dress Like An Incan.
No, Walk Like An Incan. Let's go, let's go, let's go.
Yeah, I can walk.
We got to collect the load from a local traveller and deliver to...
That's gonna be tough for everyone. Let's walk.
EDEN: Alright. Check, please.
Yes. Yes.
Thank you. Gracias.
This one's remembering and this one's, um...
Well, quick, quick.
Alright, I'd say Walk Like An Incan.
Walk Like An Incan, let's go.
Get in the hole!
(BLEEP)
Why did we pick this?
PETE: Barbie was so 2023.
Inca dolls, 2024.
We do have a moment to take a look around.
We're at the foothills of the Andes.
And also this beautiful village.
There's a market going on.
Wanna get some slippers?
We wish we could grab a quesadilla or something,
but we have no time for quesadillas.
Hola. MAN: Hello.
BRIDGET: I think everything's there. We've just got to put it on.
I used to play with my sister's dolls.
That was more the Strawberry Shortcakes
and the Cabbage Patch Kids.
I can't remember an Inca doll, to be honest.
No, I didn't have an Inca doll growing up.
You know, putting your tongue out helps.
So there's strings around the bells.
One string has tied all the bricks together.
LILY: It just needs to be attached.
Yeah, let's go.
HAVANA: It's over there, right at the start.
STEPH: Are all the things here? Yeah.
Poo bag, bum.
LILY: I feel like we might have an advantage here.
Why?
We've got smaller hands than, I think, maybe the boys.
Oh, yeah? Don't you reckon?
You said smaller. You didn't say I had small hands.
Wait, wait, wait. Put all the small shit in there.
Check. Check, check, check.
Read it again.
We have to tie them on.
"Once you have securely tied all the supplied items..."
We did not play with any dolls as kids.
Alright. Here are the tools.
I'm going to tie all the tools together.
Majority of it tied on, I guess.
Um...
But not everything was securely tied on,
so we'll just start again.
Um, should have went to school, ey?
No worries...
..we'll get there.
We found it.
Ah! We're gonna dress like...
Oh, here's the doll.
You're dressing him nice? Dressing him nice.
Oh.
BRIDGET: OK. We got this.
PETER: Don't cut corners.
No, I'm not. Don't cut corners.
Why is anyone wishing for a bell?
I got the motorbike.
All we were wishing for was longer pieces of string.
(LAUGHS)
That one didn't stay on.
(LAUGHS) It's got to be tied on, you...
Oh.
THORPIE: Look at this. Ah, that's beautiful.
It looks like it's from another world.
Look at that. It's amazing.
Em, is this harder than training for an Olympics
and missing out on a home World Cup?
No. We got this. We got this. This is easy.
It wasn't about the physical effort.
It was the gruelling, agonising imbalance
of all the stuff that was on my back.
But we are elite athletes.
We're built for this. We are built for this moment.
Tunnel vision. This is what we do.
We do this on a (BLEEP) daily basis.
Your mind is so strong and your body will follow.
(BLEEP)
Onion.
See the girls ahead.
Yeah, hope they're alright.
Yeah. Let me help you. No. It's OK.
THORPIE: Is it far up that way? EM: 200 metres.
THORPIE: 200 metres that way. OK. We'll go.
OSCAR: Alright, let's make up some time here.
Are you sure? Like this.
Oh, easy. Thank you.
Thank you.
OSCAR: Take some deep breaths.
BILLY: G'day, mate. OSCAR: Alright, guys.
EDEN: Alright. Take your time.
We're resting, you go. CYRELL: OK.
EDEN: Take your time, boys.
CHLOE: Oscar, Billy, this is going to be the hardest thing you (BLEEP) do today.
BILLY: Oh, no. Do you collect the load up there?
Up there. And bring it down.
Get your legs pumping, guys.
Oh...
Didn't exactly fill us with confidence.
After we've just come from the bricklaying, we're tired.
Not far. We can see it.
CHLOE: Last push. This is the shop.
No. No, no, no. Go to the... Go back to the gate.
The shopkeeper.
(GRUNTS)
Cross your legs and sit down.
I can't. OK.
Just... Oh!
I'm gonna have to...
Ah! Ah!
Ah!
Opening our...
Packs. ..packs,
laying them down and the lady coming over.
Every vegetable accounted for.
Counting every single item.
No. Do you know what this feels like?
Lining up to take a penalty shoot-out.
Oh, my God. True, true.
This has to be us. This has to be us.
BOTH: Yes!
Come on. Thank you, senora.
Thank you. I don't know how you do this.
It's hard.
Hold that. OK, here we go.
I knew it, Roadblock. Roadblock.
"Who wants to be the leader of the pack?"
A roadblock is a challenge only one team member
must choose to complete based on a cryptic clue.
Teams will drive to the town of Tilcara
and locate the Caravana de Llamas.
One team member will get up close and personal with the locals,
but watch out - they spit when they're annoyed.
They must dress the notoriously stubborn llama
and take it on its daily walk.
Once they've navigated the llama
through the valley,
they'll be awarded their next clue.
No dramas, llama.
I'll do it. You do it.
Good job.
OK. "Make your way to the Caravana de Llamas in Tilcara
"to take a llama on its daily walk."
Yes!
You want to do that? Yes!
You want to do that! Let's go! Come on. This way, this way!
We've got to get these together, too.
I wish you weren't...
Gorgeous, beautiful, stunning little hat.
(SIGHS) I'm gonna have a little nap
and just really meditate for a second
before I smash the doll.
I'm definitely glad I had Logan there,
because once I kind of get frustrated,
I lose my mind a little bit. (CHUCKLES)
LOGAN: We're literally trying to tie everything on now.
Ugh!
We went from the hard things to the small things.
We'll get there.
Because, in the end, we always get there.
Can we check?
Senor! Check!
How are we looking, senor?
Don't gee us up again.
Yes!
Come on, baby!
Yes, baby! Come on!
(LAUGHS)
# Doo-doo-doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo. #
Toma, Cordobesa, del cuarteto.
Del cuar... # Soy Cor-do-bes! #
Sandwich me!
Ha! LOGAN: Ayudame!
(LAUGHS)
Yes!
Gracias. Gracias.
"Who wants to be the leader of the pack?"
Yeah, I got that. You got it?
I'm the leader of the pack, baby.
LILY: I reckon we could come back here.
Oh, my Lord, how have you done that? Check.
Check! Check, please!
Check, please!
Yeah! Yay!
"Take a llama on its daily walk." "Its daily walk!"
That's awesome! Let's go!
BILLY: Keep going, Dopey.
Struggling a bit. It's hot. (EXHALES SHARPLY)
THORPIE: Hey! CHRISTIAN: Hola!
Hola!
Beautiful.
Let's lay it on.
See what we can fit on each.
There are smaller loads, in terms of size.
No, hang on. Do we have to bring down one load or two?
One.
Why are you getting those sticks for, mate?
Sorry, mate. CYRELL: Hey.
Christian, we're overthinking this.
Yeah, let's just get it done.
EDEN: Put this here...
Thorpie and Christian... Ignored us completely.
Yeah, brushed us... Ignored us completely.
Alright. You give me all the heavy stuff, Cyrell.
All the heavy stuff.
Yeah, I know, but we also can't let it break, so I'm trying...
I know, I know, but you take some of the...
I'm not motivated by who is behind me.
It doesn't affect me if I like them, I dislike them.
None of that is relevant to allowing me to perform.
Wanting to finish ahead of them?
Of course, it's obvious. We're in a race.
OK, let's go. Let's go, Christian.
How long do we carry all this?
How do you feel, man?
I feel light-headed, but I'm going to soldier on.
OSCAR: You good? Hey?
Yeah...
Oh! Ah!
Walking up the hill, it was hot.
And then I started to feel terrible.
(BREATHES HEAVILY)
Have a breather.
I honestly thought I couldn't do it.
A couple of times there, I thought, "Ooh,
"I don't know if I can do this."
We are on the Inca Trail, 10,000 years old.
It is rocky. It is dry.
It is hot.
And have I mentioned the altitude?
CHRISTIAN: You feeling OK?
THORPIE: I'm alright. It's... Altitude's awesome.
(BOTH LAUGH)
So, at least we know now.
Well, we've got two people that are behind us now.
Yeah. It's good.
Good job, honey. That is fantastic.
You're a machine.
You got this, honey.
As long as it's in.
One second, I got a sprint.
Alright, let's go... Oh!
Eden, hold the bottom of the bag so that nothing falls out.
Oh! (BREATHES HEAVILY)
Alright, Dopey, you have a sit in the shade.
Yep.
We got up the hill...
Yep.
..and I was stuffed. I was struggling.
The body's... Oh, it's getting a bit sore, to be honest.
I played 198 games for the Cats.
When you play, there's obviously sacrifices you've got to make.
I've had a hip replacement.
I had a fused ankle.
And... Oh, that's right, I've done my shoulder
and I can't lift it.
I'm alright, yeah, I'm alright. I'm getting better.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Do you need my help?
Ideally!
Oscar, to his credit, he did everything.
Packed it all up...
You hold the... You've got to hold the stick.
Hold that. Hold this end up, too, if you can.
..actually put it on my back and did everything, so...
Good on you, boy.
Good work, Dad. (CHUCKLES)
Righto, mate. Let's go.
Slow and steady. Slow and steady.
Just don't walk too fast,
because then the back will get too far away.
At this point, going down,
we're not thinking about where we are or who's in front.
It's just getting down that hill.
OK, this is good. Slow and steady.
Yeah. I'm happy with this, cock. Yeah.
STEPH: Oh, for goodness sake, it's so fiddly.
I know!
These are wish items that Argentineans, I guess, wish for.
I'm wishing for a pass.
ADAM: Did you get them all? Oh, they've all come out again.
(LAUGHS) That's alright.
We realised knots with small pieces of string
are in the same department as directions for us -
not very good at either.
I think I've stuffed this rope up.
And then all of a sudden...
Check! Check, please!
HAVANA: Check, please!
..I'm watching everyone else getting checked.
Everyone just disappeared!
We were last to leave there again!
Argh!
Great!
"Who wants to be a leader of the pack?"
Havana...usually does. Yes.
You're a good leader, Bridge. I'll be a leader.
"Take a llama on its daily walk."
Love that! OK, let's go!
Let's go find a llama. Let's do it.
Llamas going to love me.
I mean, llamas are basically messed up horses,
really, aren't they?
They don't really know what they are.
They're part giraffe, part sheep, part horse.
Find the marked...person.
Yeah. And there's llamas here, so... Where?
So, the marked path.
I am so excited to walk some llamas.
The first thing that we see - no Bam Bam and...
BOTH: Logan.
We can go.
Palomio. Palomio, my G!
I am ecstatic!
So, all of a sudden, we're in first place and it's...
BOTH: Game on!
Yes.
Good job, Clo. Crushing it.
(BECKONS LLAMA)
Perfect!
Read that. Read it out loud. What does it say?
"Put on the saddle.
"Secure the garland around its neck."
Around your neck. Yes, Clo!
"Once your llama is fully... make your way down to the riverbed
"to deliver your llama to the farmer."
Yes. You are... You are a legend, llama.
Thank you so much.
Keep giving love to that llama. We don't want no drama.
..I think I'm good. Good job, Clo. Let's go.
You got this, Clo.
The boys are still not here. We're looking good.
Come on. (BECKONS) Just get a good stride.
Just one step at a time.
Come on. (BECKONS)
LILY: Should I bring the map?
Huh? No.
BAM BAM: Have you got everything? LOGAN: Yeah.
The boys have dropped back, don't you think?
Yeah, I mean...
Dropped a bit? ..hopefully.
Come on.
Being at altitude, you can feel the difference,
the way you breathe.
And it makes it harder when you weigh a fair bit.
Let's go, Loges.
Struggling. Not long, not long.
It was a di-llama!
We had a di-llama!
We had a dilemma. Um... (LAUGHS)
The way that the hill was working,
I had a di-llama with my breathing.
LILY: Hello.
JETT: We get to where the llamas are,
we've seen the Tillies...
Come on!
..and Bam and Logan are just behind us.
We had the opportunity to overtake them.
The llamas... I like the one with the green!
You like the red headed one, don't you?
I feel like Simon is my boy.
I was standing there watching you and I thought...
Come on, Simon!
.."You got this in the bag."
Let's go for a walk, shall we?
Oh, look, he's being...
I know, look at him. He's being at one with the llama.
This will be interesting.
The llamas can be a bit of a pain.
OK. They don't always want to listen.
Kind of like me.
Oh, you really don't like me, do you?
I was like, "Oh, no, I am in all sorts here."
Oh, Simon does not want to go anywhere.
Come on. (LLAMA GRUNTS)
Babe, I picked a terrible llama.
Let's go, Loges.
Yeah, the boys! Come on!
They would be furious.
Cusco! Cusco!
That walk's, um...
That walk up here was horrendous.
I can see a couple of the other teams.
Come on, Simon. Let's go for a stroll, huh?
There's the Tillies, who are struggling.
Come on, come on. (WHISTLES AND BECKONS)
Tying the balls up here, at the moment.
I've got to...
This is like the traditional dress or something like that, there.
We come back.
Cusco, Cusco, Cusco. Good, good, good.
The Tillies overtook us,
but there's still a chance to come first.
(TUNEFULLY) Cusco, Cusco, Cusco.
Cusco, Cusco, Cusco.
Come on. Come on, boy.
Come on, come on, come on!
Being a spectator is so hard.
I'm looking at Chloe.
She knows what she's doing, where she's going,
but feeling helpless... Come on!
..and I'm wanting to get out there
and help her move that llama to where it needed to go,
because Bam Bam and Logan are right on our tails.
Andale, andale! (TUNEFULLY) Cusco, Cusco, Cusco.
I'm not gonna lie. It stressed me out.
(PANTS) Come on! Come on!
BROOKE: What a shocker today!
ADAM: We have had...
We might be going home. ..a shocker.
Just got to keep thinking positive, hun.
Thinking positive all the way.
Checky-check! Checky-check!
Let's try. I hope it doesn't fall.
Oh, my god, it's going to fall off.
So far so...
Please, please!
(BOTH CHEER)
Thank you!
BOTH: Gracias!
Thank you so much.
Appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you, gracias.
Alright. What have we got here?
"Who wants to be the leader of the pack?"
It's your turn. OK.
You got to do it. Let's go. Let's go.
Let's go, hun! Come on!
We're still in it! We're still in the game!
You can throw it in there, mate.
Make mine. I'll do all the heavy lifting.
Oh! The basket.
Yeah, I'll pick it up.
THORPIE: How's the serenity?
(PEACEFUL FLUTE PLAYS)
It's actually quite peaceful walking down.
You good? Yeah.
Once we understood how we were actually going to do
what we needed to do,
it was just a matter of taking the necessary care
to get down there without things falling out.
Hola.
OK. Check.
Hey! Muchas gracias. Thank you.
Gracias. WOMAN: De nada.
Cool. Roadblock!
Oh, ho-ho-ho! (LAUGHS)
Yeah. You do it. Alright.
"Take a llama on its daily walk."
Sweet! Awesome! (LAUGHS)
Let's go. I'm bummed!
Oh! I'm starting to think
we should have just gone with the memory thing.
We didn't...
Remember, Cyrell, our charity's Bravehearts,
that's what we're going to be now.
We're the bravehearts.
I don't want to give up, but it is hard work.
We're not giving up, honey. We're not giving up.
But I keep thinking...
It is true, I'm thinking about the charity, I don't want to lose.
I want to come out strong.
It's so hard.
Come on, Cyclone! (LAUGHS) No! Don't make me laugh.
Come on, Cyclone, we're not gonna lose, man.
Come on. I'm not giving up.
You can do it! (SHOUTS) I'm not giving up!
Come on!
We're not gonna lose! I'm doing it!
Down the hill, we fought hard and never gave up.
The charity meant so much to us.
Almost there.
Come on.
Beautiful.
All the lemons, everything's fine.
Yay! Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you, gracias. Come here, you. Oh!
We're fighters.
Look, if we're going to go down, we're going to go down fighting.
"Who wants to be the leader of the pack?"
I'm the leader.
"Take a llama on its daily walk." Oh, well, there you go.
I was good with horses yesterday. This better work out.
Alright, let's do it, baby. Let's go!
OSCAR: Good view, beautiful view.
BILLY: I must admit, I haven't seen it.
I've looked at just one step at a time in front of me.
I can't tap out here.
I thought about Oscar, you know, I've got to do it for him.
Brought him halfway around the world
and, you know, we can't tap out now.
Nearly there. Keep going, Dopey. Yep.
Doing well.
Hola, how are you?
Mate, well, nothing dropped out.
It's all there.
Por favor! Oh, favor...
What are you saying? Please.
Please.
Ah, gracias!
Thank you, thank you.
We've passed the Walk Like An Incan Challenge
and can safely say we'll both never walk like an Incan again.
Never, ever walk like an Inca, ever.
Who will be leader of the pack? You'd better.
OK. "Take a llama on its daily walk."
Oh, nice. You wanted to do that. Yeah.
Good job, Chloe. Let's go.
Come on, come on. (CLUCKS)
Come on.
Do you want this? You want this?
Yes, go on, Clo, go on Clo, come on.
BAM BAM: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco!
LOGAN: Matildas are the team to beat.
They're real competitors, you know. They're Olympians.
EMILY: Go on, Clo, come on, get a stride.
Cusco, Cusco, Cusco!
You have to come with me. Come on, one step at a time.
My llama, he was stubborn.
Bam Bam had no drama with that llama.
You want this?
I need to go there first.
Oh... They are past us.
Cusco, Cusco, Cusco!
(YELLS)
Oh, come on. (LLAMA GROANS)
Come on.
We're coming for you, Bam Bam.
Cusco, Cusco, Cusco!
Well done. Thank you.
Hey!
Good boy.
Gracias, amigo. Thank you.
You know what? The llamas are like a furry giraffe.
"Find boat at the pit stop.
"Hurry, the last team to check in may be eliminated."
Pucara de Tilcara is one of the last towns
of the Inca civilisation in Argentina.
Back in the day, this fortified hilltop settlement
was abuzz with trade in gold and silver.
Strategically chosen because of its commanding valley views...
..it's a place where you can see the enemy coming.
It's a heritage-listed site,
and it's where our teams will find the pit stop for the third leg
of The Amazing Race Australia.
Let's go.
See? I keep my promise.
Here, take it, take it. Good boy.
Here you go.
Yes! Thank you so much.
Thank you, llama.
Here, here's your corn, buddy.
Oh, man, I'm so glad that's over.
My llama was an absolute legend.
He loved corn. I love corn. How did I not know that?
He just needed a treat, just like me.
BAM BAM: We're coming first at the moment.
Move back into the middle here.
Matildas are behind us.
EMILY: Let's go, let's go, let's go. (HORN BEEPS)
Let's go, come on, vamos!
Making sure, you know.
Making sure I can see who's on my tail.
Let's keep an eye out. There's the girls there.
I reckon follow the boys as much as we can.
And just see if it's adding up.
I know this could be a foot race.
I really... Clo, I really hope we are the first ones.
Hola. Hola.
Hola. Oh, that's for me? Oh, thank you.
Bienvenido al Pucara de Tilcara.
Salud. Awesome, thank you.
Are we be drinking this? Yes.
Beautiful, I've got to drive.
Ugh...
Bro! (LAUGHS)
Let's go, let's go, let's go.
We are on to the pit stop. Vamos!
We know Bam Bam and Logan are right in front of us.
They were neck and neck.
LOGAN: Behind us here. BAM BAM: Is it?
We're in it to win it.
A lot of people may have underestimated us.
We do come across very funny, very jokey, very loud.
But when it's time to work, it's time to work.
Logan, let's go, come on, it's this way.
We've got to run.
OK, we're gonna ask someone.
Yeah, go.
Do you know where Pucara de Tilcara?
The bridge? Cross the bridge?
Cross the bridge. OK.
Muchas gracias. Muchas gracias.
Emmy, tie up your bag, running shoes on,
we're slowly jogging.
No, that's not it.
We see Bam and Logan.
They've gone the wrong way.
Pucara? Pucara.
This is our chance to bring home another win.
We're off to the races, darling.
OK, is it in here?
Pucara de Tilcara, yes!
Let's go.
Come on!
Let's get this, let's get this.
We want this lead.
We have to be at the top. Em, walk...walk for your feet.
We have to be first, come on, surely.
Alright, we got eyes, here it is.
Hey, Beau!
I've never wanted to see you more, buddy.
Beau, babe! Whoo!
Oh, here it is, the girls.
(SPEAKS INDISTINCTLY) Matildas.
I'm sure it's the altitude because we are athletes, I swear.
Em...
Bienvenidos a Pucara de Tilcara. BOTH: Thank you.
Chloe and Emily, you are the first team to check in.
(BOTH CHEER) Oh, come on.
Oh, my God.
Take your bag off, OK.
That's two you've won now, two legs.
So you are setting the benchmark,
but you're also going to be a target.
I think Logan and Bam Bam... Yeah.
..they're coming on our heels. They're on our backs.
And they're our new underdogs,
so we're looking out for them.
Well done, girls.
Because you checked in first,
you'll get a luxury hotel upgrade again.
It was a gruelling day.
It was a tough day. I loved every single second of it.
We are in front, baby. Number one!
Do you watch the UFC? Hm?
You watch the UFC?
Bienvenidos a Pulcara de Tilcara.
Gracias.
Bam Bam and Logan, you are the second team to check in.
How do you feel about the altitude? It catches you.
The altitude was playing with my attitude.
The attitude was playing with my emotions.
I'm seeing stars right now. Have a rest.
Jog in, second place.
Wonderful effort, boys, bring it in.
I'll be honest with you, I'm having a ball.
A bleeping blast.
But this has probably been the best experience I've ever had.
How do you think I'll react if it spits on me?
There's a little... Germaphobe.
There's a little part of me that hopes it does, I won't lie.
So we're coming into a nice little valley here, Pete.
See the one up ahead?
JETT: Good job, llama.
Simon wants his bread now.
He can see the finish line.
I'm gonna go Miski, Miski is risky.
At this point, I'm thinking, "I'm sore, I'm tired."
Come on.
"Llama, please, just be good for me."
You're a stubborn bitch.
Ugh! (GASPS)
Of course it's going to happen. We get the one broken llama.
Get that llama... Llama on the loose.
This is not good.
STEPH: A llama can spit, so be careful.
Yeah.
And if they do spit on you,
we'll disinfect it later, just don't worry.
I've had zero experience with llamas, but I do love them.
They're so funny looking.
Do I touch it?
You need to be at one with the llama...
OK.
..and be calm.
We're going to start again.
I know, I know, you want to go with your friends.
And that was the game plan, to kind of connect with the llama.
And now...now we're going to try and walk you.
Come on.
JETT: There we go, now we're riding.
Come on, Jett, you got this.
Good job, llama.
To be fair to Simon, once he started...
There was no stopping him.
Hola, how are you going?
I have brought Simon.
Gracias. Gracias, thank you so much.
Boom. Hey!
Boom, two roadblocks in a row.
Havana is making good time.
Does it look pretty? Beautiful. JETT: Very Instagrammable.
I wish I had my phone so I could take a photo.
I think he's really loving this walk.
He saw his friends head up here, so he wants to follow his friends.
So I think that's a benefit of having someone in front of you
when you're dealing with a llama.
Yeah! Thank you.
This is for you. Oh, thank you so much.
Thank you! Bro!
He's very excited to be back with his friends.
Thank you. OK.
JETT: "Find Beau..." LILY: "At the pit stop." Yay!
Hurry, the last team to check in may be eliminated.
Oh, let's go!
STEPH: OK, let's go quick! HAVANA: We need to walk fast.
I feel we did get some good energy today.
I really believe that you create the energy around you.
And if you have good energy, that it'll come back to you.
Do not let us get lost because this is it.
Good?
STEFF: On our way, Beau. Here we come!
PETE: Never actually met a llama that I've liked.
Every llama that I've seen on the internet is rude.
Spitting on people, sneezing on people.
Llamas suck.
Vamos, Vamos.
Well done, Bridge!
Hello, llama. Let's find a llama.
Yay! You've got this, honey.
Come on.
I've just got to pick a nice llama and get this done.
You've got to get it around here.
Did I drop another one?
Yeah, we're used to farming music, not animals.
Wow!
Thorpie and Christian, really? We're in front of them?
OK.
I don't think I'll be changing careers any time soon
to become a llama farmer.
Ah, don't vamos on me. Vamos, vamos.
(LLAMA SQUEALS)
THORPIE: I'd really like to tell him what to do.
It's killing me.
I think someone else has just got in here.
Going into the challenge, we saw Thorpie and Christian.
(LLAMA SPITS) (LAUGHS)
And then also there was Billy and Oscar.
Tatin, let's go, Tatin.
As long as we don't come last, I'll be happy.
Hang on.
Cyrell! What?
Don't be scared of it.
They look aggressive, but he won't hurt you.
I shouldn't have done this.
Cyrell, it's not going to hurt you.
OK.
Yeah, the llama didn't have any tolerance for Cyrell.
Is he going to bite me? I don't want to get bitten.
It's so frustrating. I'd get him in two seconds.
No fear, Cyrell, no fear.
(LLAMA GRUNTS) Ooh!
(LLAMA GRUNTS) Ah!
Seriously, can this day get any worse?
Oh! We got a runaway llama.
We're done, we're done.
Cyrell, get up there and get that bucktooth llama.
Oh, is that a gift for me? Empanada.
Empanada, how good, thank you.
What is it? Empanada, what's in it? Meat.
Meat? Yeah. You gonna have one?
You're not gonna poison me? You don't want my job?
You want my job?
Slow down, that's La Casa Puente. Can we park in there?
Yeah, yeah.
Today's been so much fun. Yeah.
I have thoroughly enjoyed everything that we've had to do today so far.
Go, Team Pink. Yoo-hoo! Let's go.
Alright.
You don't know where anyone is.
OK, unreal.
Final pit stop.
STEPH: Havana, quick!
Got them. Yeah.
It's across the bridge, quick!
OK, is it across the bridge?
We're gonna get them. Quick! Come on!
Pull them into speed mode.
There it is, there it is!
Come on, come on.
Who is it?
There's a flag.
Ah!
Bienvenidos al Pucara de Tilcara.
Havana and Steph, you are the third team to check in.
BOTH: (CHEER) Yes!
We said we were going for third today.
I have to take this off.
Terrific effort and I'll see you soon.
We've got another team on your heels right here.
Come on.
Jett, Lily, you are the fourth team to check in.
Yay! That's good.
Good job. Well done.
Beautiful. I'm stoked.
Pretty happy with fourth. Good job. Well done.
BROOKE: Good on you, honey.
We just can't come last.
I thought I was going to avoid a hike.
Can I ride you? (PANTS)
'Cause I'm really tired.
Bridget digs deep, as she always does.
And she gets the llama to where that llama needs to get to.
Vamos, vamos!
Come on. Two more seconds.
Oh!
Well done. Hmm...
I love you too. This is for you.
(BREATHLESSLY) Thank you so much.
Well done, Bridgey.
Well done.
Love you. I love you too.
It's been a day.
ADAM: It's been quite the day.
Just a man and his llama.
You know what?
I think the connection me and the llama have had
was one of those spark moments.
And it may be because the llama knew we're here
for rural aid.
Yes. Hello.
Beautiful llama. Perfect.
Well done. Thank you.
This is for you.
I appreciate it.
Good on you, honey.
We were like, "Yes! OK..."
"We're still in the race!" "We're not last!"
We can just get going.
Yeah, you bloody...! Yes!
Hang on. Read the clues.
I've got to wee.
I don't know how well I'll be able to direct-orino, but...
No, we'll be right.
PETE: It's perfect. We're ahead of some teams.
(BEEPING) Um, Pete, can you hear that beeping?
Uh, you got your seatbelt on? I've got my seatbelt on.
I think it's our alarm clock. Oh, that bloody alarm clock.
We've got to get rid of this alarm. Just slow on the gravel.
Don't lose control. It's driving me nuts.
(BEEPING)
(BEEPING STOPS)
Shit piece of shit!
Better not litter.
Keep Argentina beautiful.
Let's go find Beau.
Come on, come on, come on!
IAN: Christian, what about the other one?
Let's go. Come on, Pongo.
You are so stubborn.
We haven't moved for about 15 minutes.
I'm, like, nearly bent over in a tug of war
with this stubborn llama.
Come on. Come on.
CHRISTIAN: Change another one.
We've got Moncho.
I reckon I've got the best llama here.
Christian, he's got the llama touch, strolls by.
So frustrating. Oh!
Follow the path. Come on, mate.
Follow that llama.
We're gonna move you. Come on.
That's it, Osc.
What's the difference between...? What are these called?
Llamas? IAN: There's llamas and alpacas.
Yeah, what's the difference? I'm going with a hump, maybe.
But that might be camels.
Good work.
Pongo, I knew you had it in you.
I can't.
EDEN: Hey, Cyrell, there's another llama there.
He looks more friendlier.
He's got a nice tan. We'll get him.
Hello!
Hello, llama.
There you go. See? He likes you.
I got a new llama.
You want some hay? You want some hay?
Yeah!
And this llama loved me.
Come on, baby. Cyrell, she didn't give up.
That's it.
Come on. Yeah, I'm very proud of Cyrell.
Tatian didn't like me, did he?
No.
Because Tatian was a racist llama.
Yay, llama!
We just wanted to show that, you know, we're fighters,
we're strong.
Come on. Come on.
Do you like coffee? Yeah.
What are you, double shot? Flat white?
No.
PETE: You walked a llama in Argentina!
Extraordinarily proud of my wife today.
Bridge did... She really dug in.
I see the flag.
Where? It's a beautiful flag.
Oh, my God! Oh, my God! It's not at the top?
When you spend 21 years together, you recognise all those looks.
And she found a way, and she always does.
Woo!
Bienvenidos al Pucara de Tilcara.
Gracias. Hola.
Pete and Bridget, you are the fifth team to check in.
We move forward.
How heavy are these? They're getting heavier!
Thanks, guys.
Bridge was amazing today.
She...she gets the Dally M and the Brownlow votes today.
She's always had an amazing work ethic.
I've always loved that about her.
So, when we were bricklaying, it's not really my forte.
Thanks, babe. Well done.
Thanks. Good job.
Rest up, recover - you'll need it. Good job.
So great to see you, mate.
BROOKE: Oh, my God, I can see the pit stop. It's just there.
ADAM: Oh! Oh! (CHUCKLES)
I don't think I could...
OK. Hang on, honey.
Bienvenidos al Pucara de Tilcara.
Thank you. Thank you!
Brooke and Adam, you are the sixth team to check in.
Yeah! We're still here!
Oh, we live to see another day.
Maps.
Maps aren't our strong point. Nope.
Well, you picked the wrong show, didn't you?
Yeah, we really did.
Smiling every day. Woo! Here for another day.
I've got to wee, so badly.
Well done.
Go change your undies. Thank you.
Good job, Moncho.
You've helped me out a lot, mate.
Christian's nearly finished.
Yes!
(CHUCKLES) Thank you, brother.
Can you please take the llama?
Gracias.
Thank you, boss. Thank you.
(LLAMA WHINES)
I called him Brownie.
OK, Brownie.
Thank you. Thank you very much. Gracias. Thank you.
Yeah. Oh!
EDEN: Hurry, the last team to check in may be eliminated.
CYRELL: Ah! Let's go!
Nearly there, mate.
BILLY: Oh, Oskie, yeah, that...
Not your fault, that one.
Because someone could have skipped us. You never know.
You know what I mean? Yeah.
Go right.
Just trust me for once with these bloody directions.
I will!
Are you sure this is the way, Oscar?
OSCAR: This is the pit stop.
What's that street there, Osk?
We haven't lost this race, Cyrell. Yeah. Let's go, darling.
BILLY: Sure this is the way, Osk?
OK.
OK, Oskie boy.
My charity, if you know the stories I know,
like, it will kill me not to do this for them.
CYRELL: We'll do absolutely anything to get ahead.
We're competing against people that have won Olympic Games, Eden.
We might not even be last.
Come on.
IAN: How am I going to get past this dog?
CHRISTIAN: I'll get rid of it. OK.
Come on. Hup!
Come on, over here!
Over here!
Over here! Christian.
Quickly! Quickly, please.
Let's start moving. EDEN: Yep.
OSCAR: Run - your favourite thing to do.
BILLY: Yeah, run! Let's go.
Oh, I can't wait to see Beau. Did they say go across the bridge?
Yeah. Where is he? I don't know.
(MUMBLES) Oh, so, maybe we didn't go over the bridge.
I thought we can't be finishing here in this little back road.
Maybe you don't go over the bridge. Oh!
IAN: Why are you going across - back across?
Thorpie and Christian are coming the other way.
So we thought, "Look, they probably have more of an idea than us."
Well... "Let's just follow them."
Sorry. That's my bad. That's alright.
You never know. You never know.
EDEN: Somebody could have... CYRELL: I'm coming, I'm coming.
IAN: Which direction now, mate? Christian, which direction?
BILLY: Oh, here it is. Is this it?
We're not last, I don't think. We don't think?
CYRELL: Ah! Here they come.
Ready? Let's go.
I've led us all day and I'm going to lead us in.
Come in, boys. I'll lead us in!
Oh, good to see you, boys.
Get in, mate. Good on you.
Bienvenidos al Pucara de Tilcara.
Gracias.
Thorpie and Christian, you are the seventh team to check in.
Sweet.
Billy and Oscar, you are the eighth team to check in.
(THEY PANT AND MUMBLE) Tough day!
Tough day. Tough day.
Tough day at the office.
Very proud of you today, Dopey.
Altitude, it was hot
and, yeah, it would have been easy to throw the towel in,
Thank you. We're still in it.
Good boy.
Good work. Oh, that's nice.
Bring it in.
Team hug!
Alright, I'll see you.
Let's do it together. (CHUCKLES)
We've got to stop meeting like this. (LAUGHS) Drop the bag.
Hola. Bienvenidos al Pucara de Tilcara.
Cyrell and Eden, you are the last team to check in.
Yeah. We know, Beau.
We do. We know.
Being the last team, you are eliminated
and your time on the Race is over, unfortunately.
No worries. Thanks for having us, guys.
Really appreciate it.
This was the hardest thing we've ever done.
I really pushed my body to its limits.
I've never done anything like that.
But we never quit.
We never tried to skip anything. We really did try.
Unfortunately, we were just the slowest ones.
Yeah. Yeah.
Still proud, though. Still very proud.
It is going to be sad to see you go. Well, we're sad to go.
Me and Cyrell miss our son,
and we haven't been away from him for this long,
so it'll be really nice to see him.
Also, again, a special mention to the Bravehearts.
Having a little boy of my own and nephews and nieces,
and Cyrell and...
I look at my son, I couldn't imagine someone abusing him.
And I feel devastated.
Yeah, I'm gutted and...
I really wanted that money to go to them and help them out,
because it is a lot of money and can help a lot of people,
but I always get teary every time I talk about it.
Mate, teary's fine, buddy.
Um, you know, tried our best. We did our best, honey.
We did good. We never gave up. Very proud of Cyrell.
It's an experience that you never really get to do ever,
so we're happy to have done it.
Thanks again.
Thanks. Guys!
Come on. Appreciate it.
We're heaps proud of each other. Yeah.
We didn't give up. Let's go.
Also, we're proud of each other because we didn't kill each other.
I cannot believe I did that. So good, Cyrell.
Next time on The Amazing Race, Celebrity Edition...
Our celebrities take the competition to South Africa...
(WOMAN SCREAMS) Watch out!
Are you actually doing anything, mate? There's a lot of talk.
I'm not going to be beaten by a swimmer and his mate.
..where the last thing on their mind...
Don't look at that. ..is the local cuisine.
It's a head.
Here we go, here we go, here we go!
MAN: Oh, it's the talkies.
