It's one thing to play
at big arenas,

another thing entirely to play
Madison Square Garden.

It's like a homecoming,
'cause I'm a New York guy.

We're the house band
here at the Garden.

On our current run,
I've been playing

a show here every single month.

They bill it as the greatest
arena run in history.

There's never been
anything like this.

Once a month for ten years,

it's the kind of thing
that just doesn't happen.

Everyone always wonders
how it all started.

The idea came up,
"What about Billy

playing Madison Square Garden
once a month?"

I knew that this kind of thing
was happening in Las Vegas,

but would it work in New York?

First night of our
Madison Square Garden run.

I have no idea how long
this is gonna go.

I thought maybe a year.

And then it just grew bigger.

And then the Garden
representatives

brand Billy their franchise.

We were like a sports team.

I had no idea how long
this would last.

There's just something about
seeing him at the Garden.

It's epic. It's legendary.

The greatest venue in the world.

It's a great place to play.

It's magical,
it's a different experience.

It's filled all the way up

to those top seats
every single night.

I'm at every show.

I come every month.

Tonight's his 100th show
of his residency.

This is so far beyond anything

I ever imagined.

Whoever thought the line

a regular crowd shuffles in

would be Madison Square Garden?

He has been doing this residency
for a long time.

It is really the thing
that has, to me,

put the most beautiful medallion
on this magnificent career.

The companion that
we've gone through

our whole lives with,
he's like our best--

His music is our best friend
for our whole life.

we're going to commemorate

the 100th consecutive sellout

of the Madison Square Garden
residency.
