As Rita watched
the Fillcots kiss,

she had the strangest sensation.

She actually envied Alma.

For her happy marriage,

her crooked little home,
and her simple little life.

And for a moment,

she wondered if maybe Alma
had something to teach her

about attaining true happiness.

But that thought vanished
with the arrival

of an oddly familiar face.
