the decisions that were made?

- How does it feel to be
the first black house member

to win the first challenge?

- I was really happy to
kinda get my little revenge

for my mother since you
know, everyone kinda felt

like she was robbed on
Cenobite first week.

- It's gonna be very
interesting to see

if Dollya can actually
leave her family

and go on this crazy
wild ride with all of us.

And I mean I hope she can do it;

but at this point,
it's who knows?

- All of a sudden, Miss
Cardboard 2019 walks in

and I'm thinkin' shit,
Violencia went home.

- So, like what were
you going through?

Like what was that like?

That tiny little rickety plane

scared the living shit outta me.

I saw the mountains

It was so gorgeous.

So how did that costume hold up?

- That costume was expensive.

- So I'm curious.

If you jumped and you're

what happened with Violencia?

And I was like, "You can

We were about to take

and take back the night
by creating a look

horrifying or romantic.

about body and blood;

so in addition to
your vampiric visages,

you will also be responsible
for a performance,

a grotesque burlesque,

complete with tearaways
and reveals.

need to design a fan

provided by our friends
at Dirt Squirrel

to match your look and
you will need to feature

in your performance.

that I have a disadvantage

is vampires and burlesque.

Last week I was on the bottom,

but this week I'm

very confident with
this one actually.

- Vampires are usually very old.

I might be an old vampire,

have burlesque training.

I feel really confident
as a performer,

so other people having more
experience in burlesque,

I think that's good for them.

But I feel really
strong about myself

and I think I'm really sexy.

This is my thing,
but at the same time,

I do a different
type of burlesque.

So like, I hope that
they see the traditional

and my neo take on
the performance art.

- How much did everybody
spend on their last look?

I was just curious because
I spent $35 on my look.

- [chuckles] I mean.
- To give like

a spit ball roundabout,

probably like 160 for my look.

- [Yovska] Evah, how much
did you spend on yours?

- Mine totaled out
to be about 1300.

- I think I spent like a
total of maybe like 50.

- Hearing Dollya's only cost
her $50 for that entire look

makes me sick to my stomach.

- As a costume designer
and seamstress,

I'm pretty disappointed that

Evah spent that much
money on that costume.

I work a lot with EVA foam and
the quality of that costume

was not worth a
grand by any means.

- I spent thousands.

Like I had to get a credit
card to like pay for all that.

[all laughing]

- [Evah] It's expensive for all.

That cardboard was expensive.

- Well you know, I wanna
give props to Dollya.

I wanna give props to

- So I chose to do an
Elizabethan vampire

and I chose to mix king
and queen into one look

and do a gender-fuck
royal figure.

So there'll be holes and
it'll be like I'm rotting

and coming outta the grave.

And then there'll be bugs
coming out of everything

and all the bugs will be real.

Okay so with the shoes,
I'm taking stain sticks

and I'm rubbing it in.

And then I'm taking
two layers of sandpaper

and I am rubbing
that stain stick in

and like coarsely grating it

so that these shoes look like

maybe they've been
comin' out of a grave.

And then there'll
be giant silk bows

that are rotting on top.

- So I'm being really inspired

by the idea of anthromorphs
in internet culture.

And so I going
with the direction

of a sexy anthromorphic
bat with huge titties.

I really like the idea of
like an excess of absurdity

and just being really absurd,

but being really glamorous
at the same time.

- My vampire is inspired
by my Mexican culture,

so I thought I'd do something
a little outta-the-box

and I'm bringing a
Mariachi vampire.

So I'm trying something really
unique for the first time.

I'm trying to make
my own mustache,

so we'll see how it goes.

I'm using a face cast of myself

that was done before Restylane.

I've laid a few
layers of liquid latex

and then I'm layer-by-layer
just slowly adding

some spirit gum and then
little bits of hair.

Pushing it down, combing
it in the direction

and then [mumbles] adding some.

- My inspiration
for vampire queen

is just a Victorian
kinda thing goin' on.

She's been in the
garden a little too long

and the sun's hittin' her.

So hopefully that works out.

- I was inspired by
Mesopotamian ancient culture

and I wanted my vampire queen
to be like the oldest bitch

that outlives everybody
and bathes in their blood.

Louisianna.
- So you're the oldest.

You're the oldest
now, self-admittedly.

[all laughing]

- What I think I'm gonna
do is I'm gonna take pieces

of the lace that I cut
to make my own appliques

and place them on a
white drip background;

that's gonna be the fan.

So I'm like really excited
about the fan thing.

- So the inspiration for
my vampire look is gonna be

a mix between the original
Dracula and Nosferatu.

And I really like the idea of
preserving beauty after death

and so I'm gonna
try and incorporate

a lotta taxidermy into my looks.

So my fan, you know
originally I had a prop

that was gonna go on
my Dracula jacket,

but it didn't really work out.

So I'm gonna try to
incorporate a stake

going through my fan.

- So my inspiration for the
vampire burlesque challenge

is the 70s lesbian vampire
films by Jean Rollin.

My whole look is very
feminine, very pink,

so why not have a pink scythe

and rhinestone the
fuck out of it?

I'm a former paper cut artist
before I became a drag queen,

so I'm proficient
with an X-Acto blade.

So I think I'm going to
make a bat-shaped fan.

- So I'm gonna be a vampire
stripper from Studio 54.

I like how vampires
mimic humanity

and you know they're
in every walk of life,

so a disco queen vampire's
definitely up my alley.

[inspirational electro music]

- [scoffs] Well I don't
know about you guys,

but I think I'm ready
to call it a day

and I need as much
beauty rest as I can get

before stepping out on
that floorshow, okay?

- Yeah let's go get
in our coffin, bitch.

- Our poor power verse girl.

about ruling the night.

obstacles we put before you

was a little bit timid.

was kind of timid.

that you had very cute props

and the way that you altered
the fan matched the umbrella.

I thought that those were a
really kind of classy choices.

It was smart; but this comes
down to the performance

and it was lacking.

was not up-to-par.

I can't wait 'til you improve.

come alive and perform

because I know that you can
and I know that you will.

You're moving, you're
more comfortable on stage.

you going to get there

in enough time before

theme of your look

tonight after your performance?

- I had fun doing it.

I definitely know
I stumbled a bit

while tryin' to take off the
different garments and stuff.

I did feel I might end up in
the bottom because of that.

- Yeah, I was trying to go for
like the little swirly nose

but I guess like maybe a fangs

or some wings would have helped.

I've ever seen a vampire

without fangs, but
you never know.

- Well I really
wanted to love it.

However when you're
doing a performance

and you can't see your face
and your face is covered,

you have to tell a story with
your movement in your body

and I didn't see one.

- You're very
uncomfortable on the stage.

Obviously it's
because of your mask.

You have to figure out how
you're gonna make that work.

Because should you
stick around of course,

you don't wanna
fall off the stage.

So that's somethin' you
absolutely have to work on.

- I love the idea of
the whole costume.

But from head to
toe, the look of it,

I wish that the breasts
and especially the ass

were a bit more rounder
so it didn't stick out

and protrude in a weird shape.

But you were definitely
the campiest.

I think Amanda LePore

just dragged your
