Original subtitles

Flame Empress.

-Mii. -Mii.

Of course.

I expect nothing less from her.

Are you Maple, the one mentioned in the rumors?

You're Mii from the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor, right?

-I'm going. -I'm going.

-Aftershock. -Aftershock.

Flare Accel.

Flame Empress.

Explosive Flame.

I got knocked back?

-Wait... -If we don't go back quickly...

Flame Spear.

We won't make it.

We're going to die.

Cover Move!

Are you two okay?

-Thank you. -Thank you.

I see.

Let's deal with those two at the back.

Cover me.

-Understood. -Understood.

Explosive Flame.

Again?

Remote Location.

Snare.

-What? -What?

Cover Mo...

Not this time. Explosive Flame!

Predator.

Holy Javelin.

Mai, Yui, come here.

A skill I've never seen before.

She still has tricks up her sleeve.

Sure enough, she's a troublesome opponent.

Flame Spear.

We can't get near her at all.

If we fight close combat, I won't lose.

Mai, Yui.

You guys should leave first.

But...

What about you, Maple?

You two are our secret weapons, so we must keep it that way.

I understand.

Take care.

Don't run away.

I won't let you.

As long as I can get close, I can use Devour.

I'm going, Predator.

It's too slow.

Explosive Flame.

A change of plan.

Focus on using multiple piercing attacks.

Don't give her a chance to rest.

Okay.

Remote Location.

Spear Forest.

Flame Empress.

Holy Javelin.

Explosive Flame.

It's all gone.

Even if I want to use Hydra, they are too far away.

My goodness, why is she so tough?

Even the piercing attacks barely scratched her.

If this continues, this battle won't end.

Maple is pinned down.

What's wrong?

Master Mii, we came to help you.

Even if it's Maple, if we use numbers...

Don't rush to the front.

If this is the case,

Spirit Cannon.

Flame Empress.

She still has this kind of skill.

All right, from this distance...

Hydra.

Antidote.

Leave this area to me.

Fall back until I issue an order.

Understood.

-Paralyzing... -Explosive Flame.

-It wasn't easy to get near to them. -Explosive Flame.

Holy Javelin.

Remote Location, Snare.

What a shame!

Flame Spear.

No matter who the opponent is...

As long as Mii is here.

Flame Empress.

You're cornered.

Let's focus on removing this obstacle in front of us.

Monster...

-Hy... -In your dreams!

Explosive Flame.

At this rate...

The strongest shield versus the strongest spear.

If this continues, this fight will never end.

What should we do, Mii?

Misery, Markus.

-Yes? -What?

I want to use that.

Buy me some time while I channel it.

It's okay if you use all your traps and spells.

I understand.

I'll try my best.

Fire symbolizes the origin of all beings.

Did they stop attacking?

This is my chance.

With your scarlet power,

-Hydra! -you capture and shackle everything.

Rock Wall!

-Holy Javelin. -Scorch the earth

and engulf the heaven in flames.

Remote Location, Snare.

The illuminating flame sway in darkness.

Remote Location, Frost Pillar.

Let everything burn into ashes in this scorching heat.

That won't work!

-What I ask of thou is a strong prison. -Predator!

-What I ask of thou is to show no mercy. -Wait...

Holy Wind.

Burn brightly

-Just a little more. -and set all ablaze.

-We're about to get doomed. -Leave my enemy behind.

-Become an invincible shackle. -All right. Here I come!

Flame Prison.

I'm trapped in here.

Devour.

Is this damage over time?

You did it on time.

Thank goodness. I was breaking in cold sweats.

I had no other choice but to use Flame Prison.

I hope this is sufficient to defeat her.

I've already used up my traps.

Maple is in big trouble.

She'll be fine. She's Maple after all.

What should I do?

I don't know how to get out.

I've used all of my Devour charges too.

Although I don't want to reveal it,

I have no other choice.

-That is... -That is...

Deploy All Weapons.

What...

That's over the top.

Maple.

It's my turn now.

Commence Attack.

Maple!

Flame Empress!

Explosive Flame!

What a weak flame.

Flame Spear!

Mii.

Let's retreat.

No way. That is impossible.

I agree too.

It's good enough that we got to witness her ultimate skill.

Flare Accel.

It can't be helped. I lost.

But...

Messaging Shin?

I see, what a great idea.

You can't run away.

Lock On Target.

-Explosive Flame. -Deploy All Artillery.

Full Burst!

Markus, Misery.

Flame Empress.

Did I finish all my MP?

But even so,

I won't let the lives they entrusted to me be sacrificed for nothing.

Self-Destruct.

Is she taking me down with her?

You're the only one

I must defeat!

That surprised me.

They obviously told me not to reveal Machine God.

Gosh, I was fooled.

-Maple! -Maple!

Thank goodness.

We were really worried.

But we believe in you.

All right then.

Let's take the orb!

-Yes! -Yes!

The orb is gone.

Could they have taken it and ran away?

Can they do that?

The rules don't specify otherwise.

But without a base, their point won't increase.

What should we do?

Should we chase after them?

I have an idea.

What is it?

According to Sally's map, there are many guilds nearby.

Thanks to you, Maple, we're still in great shape.

So,

-let's take their orb -Let's take their orb

-before going back. -before going back.

I see!

Let's defeat all the nearby guilds then.

-Yes! -Yes!

I died.

Gosh, what the heck is that person?

Mii, you resurrected too.

What an absurd monster.

But I settled...

She's still fine after taking Mii's Self-Destruct.

What?

According to Shin's report,

it seems Maple is unscathed.

But they protected the orb, so don't you worry.

Mii, hang on!

I'll definitely defeat her next time.

It must be Maple, right?

Her fighting style is really earth-shattering.

It's almost time to regroup.

Let's hurry to our rendezvous place.

I'm sorry, Sally.

I really tried looking for the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor's orb.

But I can't find it.

No, it's already enough.

At this rate, the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor will take action too, right?

But our pace has slowed down.

It's hard to make up for the gap in numbers.

The pace of our attack is no match for those large-scale guilds.

Although we already fought really hard...

We can barely maintain our tenth placing now.

Honestly, we're in a dangerous spot.

The guilds with a lower ranking than us will definitely target us.

Small-scale guilds have also decreased.

So let's leave the base to Iz and Kanade.

Tonight, let's all go on the offensive instead.

Is the second day the key to our victory?

Maple and Kasumi, group up with Chrome.

Mai and Yui will come with me.

-Understood. -Understood.

Okay, let's do it!

-Aftershock. -Aftershock.

What happened?

I must move as fast as possible.

As many orbs as possible.

Illusion.

It's a bluff.

It doesn't hurt at all.

What the heck is that?

Buster Cannon.

Since it's in my hands, I'll protect it with my life.

We won't surrender the orb to anyone.

Is it necessary to do this?

It's true that they probably won't defend the air space.

I'm going.

Loving Sacrifice.

Maple, don't you think this is too much?

We can't do this in real life.

But if we do this here, it won't hurt at all.

Even if you say so...

Oh, my. I'm dead.

Welcome to the afterlife.

Enjoy watching from the side after this.

Most of the guilds have been wiped out, haven't they?

Most likely.

The small-scale ones have been beaten to a pulp, haven't they?

I wonder how Maple Tree is doing though.

Maple Tree is really trying hard.

Things don't look good with the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor.

It seems there's a difference among the large-scale guilds too.

Congregation of the Holy Swords is very stable though.

At this stage of the event,

I hope Maple Tree can continue to work hard.

Indeed, all the top guilds on the board are large-scale guilds.

But they stand a chance, right?

It's Maple after all.

Maple, did you collect any orbs?

I didn't get a lot.

Most of the guilds already lost their orbs.

That's unfortunate.

In the end, we only got two orbs.

It seems the progress is faster than I expected.

It's not just the small-scale guilds,

most of the medium-scale guilds have perished too.

I think we can proceed to the next stage.

Things are getting chaotic.

All the guilds are desperate.

Of course, that includes Maple Tree too.

Maple Tree?

It seems they are hoarding orbs too.

Well, let's collect our debt.

I agree.

There's a guild that I'm concerned about.

Congregation of the Holy Swords.

-That's right. -They said they'll come again.

Yes. They'll definitely come to settle the score.

I don't want to end of this event with unsettled debt.

Although I'd want to fight them in their best and excellent state...

So although both of us are exhausted,

they might purposely come over at this time

when Maple has used up all her Devour charges.

But Maple Tree will gain nothing by facing us.

If that's the case...

Before that happens, let's leave our base with the orbs.

Based on the marching speed of a large-scale guild,

it should take them some time to get here.

Are you guys ready?

Are you that desperate to fight?

I want to defeat Maple.

I don't think I'm the only one who's excited because of that, right?

Let's move if you guys are ready.

That was quick.

Could it be?

Four of them?

If it's a small party of top players,

it can definitely shorten the travel time.

But you guys forsake the privilege of a large-scale guild,

the advantage of overwhelming enemies with numbers.

Despite that, I'm determined that we can still win.

So I came here to fight you guys.

We were underestimated.

If that's the case, we can only fight.

Hi, Sally.

I won't be bluffed this time.

Let's witness your strength.

Ladies, this is the second round.

Maple, I really want to fight you again.

Payne...

I heard you're the strongest player.

But I won't lose!

Let's have a showdown!

Loving Sacrifice.

Stop right there!

Defense Break.

Are you okay?

By the way, Maple...

I'm your opponent.

-Aftershock. -Aftershock.

Earth Wave.

I got knocked back?

I need to go back.

Cover Mo...

I'm going to win.

In your dreams!

Are you two okay?

-Yes. -Yes.

If you leave it unattended, I'm going to take it.

Iz, Kanade, protect the orb!

Multi-Barrier.

Dispel Magic.

This side is troublesome too.

Sure enough, he's really strong.

I told you, didn't I?

I'm determined that I'll win.

Defense Break.

Grand Lance.

Gosh...

Maple, you better cancel your skill.

Got it.

I'm taking your life.

Godspeed.

Berserk.

Multi-Full Transfer.

Holy Blade of Conviction.

Maple!

-PAYNE FINALLY MADE A MOVE. -HOW'S THE SITUATION?

YOU'RE THE ANONYMOUS WIZARD, RIGHT? THANKS TO YOU, I CAN WATCH THE BATTLE.

AREN'T YOU GOING TO CHEER FOR MAPLE?

OF COURSE. MAPLE, YOU CAN DO IT.
