=Reunion Across Time=

=Episode 15=

Don't you think

Fusheng is acting strange?

You suspect him?

No, I don't.

I checked.

There's no shamanic energy on him at all.

Then I must be overthinking it.

Then,

what do we do about Mrs. Zhao?

I can't tell what shamanic arts

were used on her.

We may need the Grand Shaman

to come and take a look.

Chu Li,

you're no longer part of our Shaman Clan.

Yet you dare come back?

Yun Hua,

we've come today

because I need to see the Grand Shaman.

Diviner Song,

you keep helping this traitor of the Shaman Clan.

Aren't you being a little too partial?

Yun Hua,

you keep blocking us

from seeing the Grand Shaman.

Now I'm starting to wonder

if you've done something to her.

I'm the Grand Shaman's direct disciple.

While she's in seclusion,

of course I'm guarding her.

Don't project your filthy thoughts onto me.

I'll know once I see her for myself.

You can't.

- Grand Shaman! - Chu Li!

Stop right there!

I request an audience!

Grand Shaman!

Traitor!

How dare you disturb the Grand Shaman's seclusion!

I will

see the Grand Shaman today.

Then try

getting past me.

Both of you, stop!

Grand Shaman, why...

Grand Shaman,

are you all right?

Diviner Song,

what brings you here

so suddenly today?

Grand Shaman,

something strange has happened at my home.

I beg you to come and shed light on it.

Grand Shaman, you mustn't!

Very well.

I will go with you, Diviner Song.

Thank you, Grand Shaman.

After you.

Grand Shaman!

She's under a gu curse.

A gu curse?

What kind?

This gu curse isn't fatal.

It only puts her into a deep sleep.

In ten days, she'll wake on her own.

But the child she carries...

Without food or water for ten days,

even if she survives,

her child will die.

Is there any way to lift the gu curse?

There is none.

You can only wait for her to wake

after ten days.

But that way,

her child will die.

That is its fate.

But...

The child is already tainted with evil energy.

We can't even trace the source.

The child won't survive to be born,

and it will endanger its mother.

In that case,

it's better to let the child die early

and preserve the mother's life.

Understood.

So she loses a baby.

What's the big deal?

Diviner Song,

this is all I can do.

Thank you, Grand Shaman.

Grand Shaman!

Mother!

Don't call me that.

Fine.

Grand Shaman,

do you really hate me that much?

I've already driven you out of the Shaman Clan.

From now on, you and I have no ties.

So you don't even care

if I live or die?

Everyone has their own fate.

You weren't like this before.

How did you become like this?

There's no point in talking.

I never want to see you again.

Stop fooling yourself.

Leave Jinan City soon.

Stay out of my sight.

What did I do wrong

for you to treat me like this?

Your very existence is a mistake.

That's your mistake,

not mine.

If you want to save that woman,

you'll need the Soul-Retrieving Talisman

to protect the child in her belly

and get it through those ten days.

But that child is tainted with evil energy.

It may not survive.

So I advise you not to waste your effort.

Leave Jinan City soon.

I never want to see you again.

Does she really hate me that much?

For now, the child in her belly is safe.

But

we still can't trace the source of that evil force.

The child

may not survive.

We won't know for sure

until she wakes up.

So it seems

this is the child's fate.

Once Mrs. Zhao's child is born,

I'll leave Jinan City.

Really?

Chu Li,

all that matters is

that you're alive and well.

There are still 14 days.

When the time comes,

would you be willing

to leave with me?

(Li,)

(this time,)

(you can finally end this cycle.)

What are you doing?

You caught me.

How boring.

Chu Li,

what's wrong?

Lately,

you're always so secretive with Diviner Song,

never bringing me along.

Fusheng,

in a few days,

I'm leaving Jinan City.

When the time comes,

would you be willing to come with me?

Chu Li,

did something happen?

Don't ask.

Just tell me, will you come with me or not?

Of course I will.

I told you,

I'll always be by your side.

Grand Shaman, are you all right?

Grand Shaman!

Are you all right?

Do you need me to...

Have the others left?

I've arranged for them to leave.

Good.

What about you?

Why haven't you left?

I'm not leaving.

Grand Shaman, I'm staying to protect you.

I don't need you to protect me.

Leave Jinan City at once.

Go!

I won't go. I'm not leaving.

No matter what happens to Jinan City,

I'll stay with you.

You...

Grand Shaman,

don't push yourself.

Let me help you.

I don't need your help.

Go, now!

Grand Shaman!

Go!

Leave!

Yun Hua!

Grand Shaman, I'm here.

Go deliver a message to Song Ziyuan now.

Song Ziyuan?

Don't let Chu Li know.

Understood.

Master,

Lanruo entered Jinan City a month ago

and became a singer.

She was later introduced at court by a palace musician.

She won the King's favor

and became Beautiful Lady Lan.

Beyond that,

I couldn't find any information

on her outside Jinan City.

I see.

These are all my assets.

Take them and sell them.

Then, escort Chu Li

out of the city with the money.

Master,

why are you doing this?

Don't ask.

Just protect Chu Li.

Only if she's safe

can I be at peace.

Understood.

Once I've escorted Miss Chu Li out of the city,

I'll come back right away.

Shiqi,

don't come back.

From now on,

she is your master.

Master,

I can't leave you alone in Jinan City.

Are you defying my orders now?

I wouldn't dare.

Then do as I say.

Understood.

(Li,)

(in this lifetime,)

(I can finally save you.)
