[Dominator of Martial Gods]

[Adapted from original work of "Dominator of Martial Gods", The Universe Part I by Ruo Hong Culture]

[Episode 10]

-Did I hear it right? Bloodmist Holy Land? -Bloodmist Holy Land.

How can that be?

Just listen to him.

One month later, you'll be led

to gather at the royal palace

to go to the Mount of Demonic Ancestors

and accept the baptism of Bloodmist Holy Land.

You should take this chance properly.

Within this month,

try to improve your cultivation

to absorb more bloodmist spiritual energy.

Bloodmist Holy Land?

Is this for real?

Heavens!

As per traditions,

those chosen to enter Bloodmist Holy Land

are all geniuses likely to advance to Heaven Level.

Why is it that this time...

It's gonna be the

Competition of Five Kingdoms after the baptism.

It's a preparation for the Competition of Five Kingdoms

to select qualified ones to enter Bloodmist Holy Land every time.

Did you hear that?

They get to enter Bloodmist Holy Land.

The four of them are simply too lucky.

How can we get such chances?

We can't get there at all!

Bloodmist Holy Land?

Sounds so familiar.

Is it the holy land in the Mount of Demonic Ancestors

that can boost cultivators' levels and gifts?

That Bloodmist Holy Land?

[Around the five kingdoms in the northwest,]

[there is a magnificent mountain range]

[called the Mount of Demonic Ancestors.]

[It's full of blood beasts and most dangerous.]

[Every year, numerous cultivators]

[enter this mountain to hunt blood beasts.]

[And Bloodmist Holy Land]

[is a sacred land in the depths of]

[the Mount of Demonic Ancestors.]

[A century ago,]

[an army of the Zhao Kingdom,]

[one of the five kingdoms in the northwest,]

[ran into this Bloodmist Holy Land.]

[After entering it and accepting]

[the baptism of Bloodmist Holy Land,]

[their cultivation advanced rapidly.]

[The Zhao Kingdom tried to hide this secret,]

[but somehow, the news still got out.]

[When the other four kingdoms knew,]

[a bloody war was fought.]

[In that war,]

[countless elites died.]

[All five kingdoms lost many of their top ones.]

[None could defeat the others.]

[Later, the leaders of the five kingdoms met]

[and eventually made an agreement.]

[Bloodmist Holy Land shall be opened every five years.]

[Geniuses of every kingdom will be sent there for baptism.]

Once we accept the baptism,

we'll be likely to make it to Heaven Level.

I didn't expect

that I could go to the baptism, too.

Him?

Qin Chen,

I'll count you lucky this time.

After entering Bloodmist Holy Land,

I'll definitely defeat you.

Oh Yeah?

Qin Chen,

I won't lose to you, either.

Mom,

I told you I won't disappoint you.

Chen,

congratulations to you.

And to you as well, Lady Qin.

Master Liang, thanks for your help.

I thank you for Chen.

Lady Qin, you're welcome.

To be able to help Chen is my pleasure.

If you have any trouble or need help,

feel free to find me at the Palace of Instruments.

I'll try my best to help you.

[What did Chen do?]

[Why is Master Liang Yu so kind to us?]

[Previously, Qin Fen said that]

[he offended Liang Yu.]

[Now it seems that he was framed.]

Mr. Qin is indeed young and capable.

You have my admiration.

If there are chances in the future,

please kindly teach Lingshan a thing or two.

You flatter me.

Lingshan,

you should hang out more with Mr. Qin.

Yes, Father.

Chen,

come and visit the Palace of Instruments often

to provide guidance to...

Lingshan!

Lady Qin,

I heard that you've moved out of Qin Residence

and live in the west of the city.

That area is poorly built and unsafe.

I have a house in the east of the city,

right next door to my mansion.

If you don't mind,

I'd like to give it

to Lady Qin and Chen as a residence.

How is it?

Lord Kang, thanks for your kind gesture.

But we can't receive a reward without making an effort.

Lady Qin, please don't misunderstand.

It's just a small house.

I'm doing this

also for

the safety of you two.

I can't accept it.

Please forgive me.

Then I won't force it on you.

After all these conflicts,

I'm afraid someone won't just let things go.

If someone hurts Lady Qin and Chen,

it'll be bad.

Lord Kang, please send more hands

to protect them.

Naturally.

This...

I'm the commander of imperial guards.

Maintaining the safety of the Capital

is my obligation.

Okay, I appreciate your help, Lord Kang.

I'm leaving with my mother then.

Chen, take care.

Qin Chen, hold on.

Please don't put what my father said to heart.

Do you mean giving us a house?

Of course not.

My father is sincere and kind to people.

He truly wanted to help you two.

Then what was it that you didn't want me to put to heart?

It was...

Never mind. It's nothing.

Ms. Zhao,

forgive my incompetence.

After treatment, your son's injury

is under control.

It'll heal very soon.

But the Energy Pool inside him is completely shattered.

He won't be able to learn martial arts anymore.

There's nothing I can do.

Mom,

I don't want to become useless.

I don't want to become useless!

Master, is there no hope at all

for Fen's injury?

Well, I wouldn't say

there's no hope at all.

As far as I know,

there's a grade six Dan medicine

that helps to cure the Energy Pool.

After taking it, your Energy Pool will recover,

and you'll regain your cultivation.

But this kind of medicine

is far beyond my capability.

I'm afraid

I can't help you with that.

Grade six Dan medicine?

The best medicine refiner in the Xuan kingdom

is merely at grade four.

I'm afraid you can't find

grade six Dan medicine

in all the five kingdoms in the northwest.

Yanzhi,

go tell the accountant to pay master

and walk him out.

Yes, Madam.

Master, please follow me.

Madam.

What's the result of the examination?

I've got the news.

Qin Chen... He...

Why are you mumbling?

What happened to that bastard?

He defeated Marquis Wu'an's son Li Qingfeng

and won first place in the examination.

What?

Impossible!

How can that bastard win first place?

I thought I heard it wrong, too.

But I had confirmed with many people

that Qin Chen did win

first place in the examination.

And one month later, he'll be led by the royal family

to enter the Mount of Demonic Ancestors

for the baptism of Bloodmist Holy Land.

Impossible!

Him? With what?

Damn.

We're all fooled by that little bastard!

Mom.

Mom.

Mom.

You must avenge me.

Fen, rest assured.

I'll let whoever injured you die a horrible death.

I'm going to your uncle's right now.

I'll let your uncle, King of Lingnan, help you.

I don't believe that

this little bastard can win again.

[King of Lingnan Mansion, the Xuan Kingdom]

[Zhao Zhen, King of Lingnan of the Xuan Kingdom]

Brother!

Brother!

You must help me!

What? What happened?

Calm down. Come on.

Slowly. Take a seat.

Brother, you must avenge your nephew.

Fen? What happened to him?

Brother, there's something you don't know.

That bastard son of Qin Yuechi

hurt Fen

and destroyed his Energy Pool.

Fen was the best among the youngsters,

now with his Energy Pool destroyed,

what's the difference between him and a cripple?

What?

Is this real?

Fen is still lying in bed now.

Brother,

you are King of Lingnan,

a high-ranking official in our kingdom.

As long as you give an order,

that little bastard will be dead for sure!

Brother,

I know you love Fen the most.

This time,

please do justice to Fen, Brother!

Well...

Come.

Qin Chen

has always been weak and useless.

But suddenly he changed

and became so powerful.

There must be something fishy going on.

How poor my Fen is!

His bright future

is ruined by that punk like this.

I'll investigate Qin Chen.

Don't you worry for now.

As King of Lingnan,

I command hundreds of thousands of soldiers in Lingnan.

And I'm a relative of the Qin family.

I've been given too much power.

Take a look at Mr. Qin Batian.

He was sent to the frontiers

and didn't come back for over a decade.

Our two families are too big and thus vulnerable to gossip.

We have to be cautious.

But...

Qin Chen won the champion of the Academy Examination,

and he's also the young talent

picked personally by Xiao Zhan, King of Lingwu.

Besides, he's the grandson of Qin Batian.

He's also your nephew.

How can the implications of interests in this

be changed by

a mere woman like you?

Are we going to let that little bastard go?

The Xuan Kingdom needs talents now.

When Qin Chen goes to the battleground,

he'll bring glory to your Qin family, right?

As the female leader of the family,

you'd better be more magnanimous.

You...

Our Qin family

has been providing for these two ingrates

for so many years.

Am I still not magnanimous enough?

I...

When they let Qin Chen,

an outsider, be an heir,

I didn't say anything!

I'm not magnanimous, huh?

Well... You...

Now they're bullying us

right in front of my face!

Since you're not willing to help me,

I won't force you then.

I'll do it myself!

Feng, don't be like this. You...

Madam.

Qin,

my elder brother won't help me.

I can only rely on you now.

I want that little bastard dead.

And his mother, the two of them must die.

But the Marquis...

Forget about him!

When it's done,

I'll let you return to your hometown

to enjoy the rest of your life with your family.

Yes, Madam.

I'm on it right away.

Qin, you mustn't blow it again.

If you fail again,

I promise

you won't be able to see your family anymore.

Rest assured, Madam.

I promise to do it perfectly.

[Miss Yuechi, young master Qin Chen,]

[I'm sorry.]

[As long as you're alive, there'll be no peace in the family.]

You can go now.

Yes.

Qin Batian, King of Might,

controls half of the troops of the Xuan Kingdom.

His battle achievements are outstanding.

A few years ago, the Qin family had a prodigy named Qin Feng,

who advanced to Earth Level at 14.

After joining the army, he rendered excellent service.

He has become the No.1 captain in the army.

Now, the Qin family has a Qin Chen

who won the champion of the Star Academy Examination.

Powerful as this,

the Qin family is truly something else.

I heard Qin Chen was kicked out of Qin family.

Looks like they also have internal struggles.

They're like cutting off their own arms

when they treated Qin Chen like that.

I wonder how King of Might will feel

when he hears this on the frontier.

Zhao Feng bribed Ge Hong

to secretly sabotage Qin Chen's test.

I've already reported this to His Majesty.

Guess Qin Yuanhong

is now at the imperial court,

scolded by His Majesty without mercy.

Qin Chen is an exceptional talent.

Mr. Chu, you should take good care of him.

I'm somewhat curious about

why President Dongfang cares so much about him.

Are you planning to make him your disciple?

Make him my disciple?

Me being his disciple will be more like it.

You being his disciple?

What...

Greetings, Your Majesty.

[Zhao Gao, Monarch of the Xuan Kingdom]

Star Academy enjoys a high position

in my kingdom.

Numerous descendants of the noble class,

even princes and princesses,

are cultivating in it.

How dare your family

break the rules of Star Academy?

Qin Yuanhong, do you realize your fault now?

Your Majesty,

I had no idea about this matter at all.

When I go back home,

I shall get to the bottom of it

and give you and Star Academy a proper answer!

Answer?

Good.

I'll give you three days

to find out the truth.

Also, I'll deduct one year of your salary.

Go back and reflect properly

and do justice to Star Academy.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Yuanhong?

Yuanhong,

look what that little bastard did!

Our Fen will never

be able to cultivate martial arts.

I heard about what happened today.

When you were contacting Ge Hong,

did you meet him personally?

It's always been Qin.

I never met with Ge Hong.

That's good then.

Is this really that serious?

Do you know the status of

Star Academy in the Xuan Kingdom?

Back when His Majesty was young,

he cultivated at Star Academy.

Now Chu Weichen, that old geezer,

keeps badmouthing us

in front of His Majesty.

If we can't handle this matter properly,

there'll be serious consequences.

Ours is an aristocratic family, after all.

We've contributed majorly to the Xuan Kingdom.

Half the territory of the Xuan Kingdom

was obtained with the help of our Qin family.

I don't think His Majesty will be so heartless.

You know nothing!

Just because our family had too many military achievements,

we need to be extra cautious.

Father seldom comes back

after a lifetime of service.

Do you know why?

It's to avoid groundless suspicion!

Our son Feng has just defeated

a troop of ten thousand from the Zhao Kingdom.

If it's someone else, he'd have been promoted to general.

But why is Feng

still only a captain?

Don't you understand?

I've been acting cautious all these years,

like walking on thin ice.

Now, you know what?

You ruined everything!

Then... What should we do now?

What else can we do?

The fury of His Majesty and Chu Weichen

must be calmed.

As a last resort,

we have to let Qin be the scapegoat.

No!

This is not up to you.

Where's Qin? Get him here.

He...

He...

What did you do again?

Tell me now!

Do you have to drag the entire family down?

Qin has already been sent out by me.

You're not trying to...

That little bastard hurt Fen.

How can I allow him to live through tonight?

Not only him,

but also that slut Qin Yuechi

will be dead tonight.

What?

It's too late.

Qin left two hours ago.

He has probably done it by now.

You'll only get yourself in trouble if you go.

You!

What about me?

I only blame myself for being too merciful

that I didn't kill him earlier.

Otherwise, how can my Fen

become like this today?

What's done is done.

There's no other way.

Guards.

My Lord.

Call the servants who're close to Qin here.

Notice the elders

that we're having a family meeting now.

Yes.

What are you planning to do?

I'm going to announce at the family meeting that

Qin secretly colluded with Ge Hong

to sabotage the Star Academy Examination.

All those close to him will be punished.

What?

I'm just tying up your loose ends.

I'm going to meet His Majesty right now to

blame everything on Qin.

And I'll tell His Majesty that

Qin has escaped to avoid punishment.

He's at large

and we're trying everything to arrest him.

See if this can ease His Majesty's anger.

Marquis Li, how diligent you are!

Still cultivating so late at night.

It's you.

So, how does it feel

to lose the champion?

Just an accident.

Accident?

I think you're just not strong enough.

What do you know?

Qin Chen is not as simple

as you thought at all!

I...

Loser,

stop finding excuses for yourself.

Stop commenting on me.

You're just a bunch of

infamous killers.

Befriending me is your blessing.

If you want those Dan medicine back,

I'll pay for them.

Don't forget.

This is Marquis Wu'an Residence.

Let me be frank with you,

from the day Shadow-slay House laid eyes on you,

you only had two options.

Either you work for us,

or be killed by us.

Which one will you choose?

Please spare my life.

Since you want to live,

I'll give you another chance.

You may live, but you'll still get punished.

What exactly do you want?

If not for the fact that you will go to the Competition of Five Kingdoms,

you aren't even worthy of speaking with me.

Competition of Five Kingdoms?

Impossible!

This is a felony!

By then, everyone in Marquis Wu'an Residence

will die a horrible death!

You don't have a choice. This is your fate.

You have to succeed this time.

Otherwise...

Qin Chen!

Were it not for you,

how would I end up like this!

As they say, actual combat is the most effective way of training.

After three centuries,

Feng Shaoyu and Shangguan Xi'er

have become the strongest ones

on this continent.

They're titled Emperor Tianwu and Empress Lingbo.

They also jointly founded the Tianwu Empire.

Two forces integrated and are so powerful

that their names are heard even in remote areas

like the Xuan Kingdom.

Impressive.

Feng Shaoyu, Shangguan Xi'er,

one day,

I'm gonna go back to the Martial Domain

to bring fair back.
