JONATHAN LaPAGLIA: Previously...

I found an idol! Mwah!

..on Australian Survivor...

It's real.

..an epic rematch began.

When I found out it was Brains versus Brawn,

I was absolutely stoked,

because I am right at home on the Brains tribe.

Go, Brains!

A new generation of masterminds...

Oh my (BLEEP) God.

..took on a new breed of physical players...

You've got this, girl.

Who doesn't love being strong?

Bring on the rematch.

..hell bent on retribution.

Brawn wins reward, and this game is on!

ALL: Coven? Coven. Coven.

Oh, yay! I love a little witchy coven.

On the Brain tribe, lines were drawn.

I am a Komodo dragon.

It'll just give you a little bite, and you just slowly die of toxicity.

(LAUGHS)

But the Brains worked together when it mattered most.

Nash! Stop it, Nash!

Nash, chill.

Brains wins immunity, sending Brawn to tribal council.

Salesman Nash weaponised his immunity idol and got to work.

But not everyone was on board with his plan.

Nash's intentions were to force us to play straight away.

With his paranoia rising...

..Nash played it safe.

For you?

And although shots were fired...

(WHISPERS) Game on, baby.

Nash. Does not count.

..his plan still succeeded.

Candy.

Oh!

The tribe has spoken.

23 are left.

Who will be going home tonight?

KAELAN: Hey! Step up to me coconut bar, huh?

(LAUGHTER)

Please come on up.

Oh my God!

Welcome to Kaelan's Coconut Bar!

Oh, sir, I'll get you a coconut.

Thank you so much.

So, we have aged coconut, young coconut...

I'd like some Malibu in the bottom of mine.

Some Malibu in the bottom.

Here's some sugar.

Look at the sugar in there for you.

Then we have coconut water to drink.

Wahey! Thank you. Enjoy.

And then you have coconut chips, so, they're complimentary.

Thanks, bartender. Exactly what I wanted.

Enjoy. Thanks!

I just love the dirt that you put with it.

Just get outta here. No refunds. No refunds.

Am I a very good bartender?

Uh, absolutely not.

Oh, yeah. There you go.

Am I the best bartender on the Brains beach?

Uh, I think that's obvious.

People often misconceive me, based on my appearance and the way I talk.

But I just started my PhD.

I'm designing a drone

to autonomously scout for vegetation in Antarctica.

The computer will learn how to identify plants

based on their spectral output,

because we're using multispectral cameras.

Collating that data.

Downplaying my intelligence is the easy part.

Just by going out and getting coconuts, everyone's thinking,

"Is he even here to play a game, or is he here to just get coconuts?"

You're really good at opening them, by the way.

It's perfect. Everyone's underestimating what I'm doing.

So I'm just giving the image I'm someone on vacation.

Oh, we can do shots out of there. Yeah, we can do shots out of this.

Yeah, we can do that after.

But in the background, I'm the most social guy here.

So, too early to strike, but the time will come.

OK. Good.

OK. Bar's closed.

(AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOR THEME MUSIC)

(DRAMATIC MUSIC)

Oh, yes!

Do your Baywatch run. Do your Baywatch run.

JESSE: Oh, there he is.

Didn't see the short marks? Yeah.

What a first tribal council. It was actually exciting.

I felt the heat, but the numbers went my way in the end

and Candy went home.

How have you done this? Oh.

My shirt. Is that your T-shirt? Oh!

My shirt... And that's over the top.

But something is not right.

So I need to get to the bottom of who put votes on me,

because I think someone's actually turned.

Yeah.

Did they?

Did you see all the numbers? I saw every single number.

All the numbers didn't add up.

My numbers didn't add up.

(INDISTINCT CONVERSATION)

Someone flipped. Someone flipped.

Where was your head at? I know you didn't vote Candy.

I don't care.

It is what it is.

Why?

Honest. Be honest with me. I don't care.

I had you from day dot to trust you. Day dot.

I know. I know. And I didn't want you dogging me.

Not that. You were the first person I had a chat with.

I know. And then you flipped on me.

Yeah.

Candy went home, but...

I don't want these close calls, cuz,

because these close calls can damage alliance, bro.

Of course.

Nash knows that I flipped.

So right now, I'm gonna play to Nash's ego,

tell him what he wants to hear.

He thinks everything's going to be all good, but really,

I'm blindsiding him.

Could you please just give me a heads up?

That's all. That's all. Unless...

Unless you're flipping on me, then I understand, bro.

You want to know what I'm doing with this?

What are you doing? I'm making a hat for Max

because his cowboy hat's gone.

Nice!

Hey, oldest in the camp, youngest in the camp.

How old are you? 23.

Amazing. I tried to get on for the last ten seasons.

Really? Yeah.

Wow! I know.

Every minute, every hour, every day in this game is another day

of living my dream.

I'm a multi-millionaire,

and Survivor is, literally...

..it's the only thing left on my bucket list.

Some of these guys and girls have applied.

This is their first or second or third time for applying.

This is ten. This is ten.

Ten seasons, back to back to back.

Rejection. Rejection. Rejection.

It's something that I can't buy.

If I want something, I can always have it.

Whereas this thing, it's been a challenge. It's been...

It's been the hardest challenge of my life.

And I knew I'd get it.

I knew I'd get it one day, and I've got it now.

(POIGNANT MUSIC SWELLS)

All that aside, I'm here.

And I've got the machete,

and Myles's head is on the block.

They're not gonna go with the person who grabbed them last minute.

They're gonna go with the person who's been putting in the work.

Smart. Good work. Yeah, yeah.

I think Myles is trying to play too hard too soon.

Obviously, as you're aware, you haven't been having, like,

strat chats with people.

I have no interest in, like, blowing up your game.

Also, as I told you...

He's trying to strategise just a little bit too hard.

Obviously challenges are really important as well.

But you should definitely look at maybe taking out one or two

of the big boys, right?

He knows the game inside and out, and he's just annoying people.

He has no EQ.

No EQ, but he's got heaps of strategy, and it's freaking me out.

Oh, Myles. Your, like, balls are in my face.

Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Cross your legs!

Jesus.

He's the most anti-social, EQ-lacking individual I've ever met in my life.

Oh, my God, he's digging his own grave.

How am I planning to make sure that Myles is the first to go?

Have you ever seen how a praying mantis works?

It basically sits in the trees.

Just there, doing nothing... doing nothing.

A little bug comes along and it'll grab it,

and it'll play with it for a little while, and then it'll just devour it.

Imagine eating something alive.

Just, like, start eating at the...at the feet,

slowly through the legs, just holding it,

holding it while you're eating it.

And then just like... (MUNCHES)

It's pretty brutal to watch.

Um, but you kind of keep watching.

There's something weird going on with Kent.

Yeah. I've seen it for a while.

Um...

(DRAMATIC MUSIC)

The last couple of days, I've just sat back and let everyone

have their chats.

Just because I wanted to see how everything was working.

I wanted to know, you know, who was taking charge...

Does anyone want to come and start getting some big timber with me?

..and who clicked.

Uh.

(GOBBLES)

And that's because as a business development manager,

I'm always trying to figure out

how to get the best out of every situation.

I'm at the top of my game.

I make my company Lots of money all day, every day.

Reading a room is something that I can't actually do my job without.

But my strengths don't stop at reading people.

They extend to responding to get what Indy needs.

And I've noticed a girls alliance coming together.

We've been here for, like, three days.

Yeah. I don't think we've ever

really had, like, a conversation apart from,

"Hey, who you vibing with?"

Well, that's what we're vibing.

That's exactly what we're saying right now. We're vibing.

You girls, to be honest...

I don't think it was conscious. No, no, no. The thing is, like,

I don't know if you noticed about me, I'm super chill.

I smile all the time.

When people like me, they always think I'm well intended,

but I can be ruthless.

I've been hired into a job

to be actually a bull in a china shop.

However, if they need me to be malleable and pliable

and acquiescent, I'll give them that...

..IF it'll give me what I need.

It's like, because we're cruising,

we're doing really well at the moment.

Like, if we were to come down to a vote,

who would you feel comfortable?

Probably that Karin girl.

Like, she's totally like...

You know, like, there's only room for one black girl on this tribe.

Oh! Oh! Oh!

I love being here with you. Like, I do.

Thank you. So, yeah.

So would you be willing to be a part of the girl gang?

Yeah, yeah.

Well, I'm a solid player, and I've got lots to offer, so...

Yeah. That's what we wanted.

Like, I think that's a brilliant idea.

It feels so amazing

to have a witches coven out here.

Indy is the final girl coming into our coven.

Yeah. I'm very serious about our coven.

Oh, yeah. Look, butterflies.

Awww.

Black butterflies for our little black coven.

My strategy coming in was to create a spider web of relationships

coming all the way back to me, the source.

So all of the girls are now part of my witches coven.

(ALL LAUGH)

Hahahahahaha. I'm hilarious.

I am so funny.

So that's the little witches web of information,

of people bringing me information.

I love you, my little angel.

Sent from the Survivor gods.

Sorry I'm wet.

But my number one is Logan.

She is my ride or die.

I can talk to her about anything.

Outside our little coven,

who do you feel, like, close with as well that we could drag in?

I think we need to get in with the boys really, really quick.

Oh!

Yeah!

First one to drop it has to do 20.

All right.

The boys on the beach are living their best life,

and also don't seem to be chatting too strategically.

Go long, go long!

We know we're going to go to tribal council at some point,

so I need a beautiful, big, shiny...

Shield is probably a wrong word. Puppet?

Yes.

And Rich is the perfect target.

We're all from Victoria, so we're the Victoria Bitters.

The three VBs, all right?

They came up with that. Yeah, three beers.

What are we bitter at the minute?

At just this shelter?

Yeah. Shelter's not good. Pretty bitter at that, actually.

I think it's important for my game plan to involve starting an alliance

with some female energy.

What I like about this riding the coattails thing,

the guys just taking...sit back. Yeah.

You guys, I like that.

They're chummy together.

Why don't I just slip in on that and make it a cross-gender alliance?

That'd be pretty cool.

Can't wait to make a big move. Blindside. Yeah, it'd be fun.

Be so fun. There you go.

Easy. We're solid. Don't you dare worry.

I'm here to spice it up.

I've been told I stir the pot my whole life,

and sometimes I don't even know I'm doing it,

which means...that probably means I'm pretty good at it.

If we play this riding cocktails, they will fall for it, too.

It also leaves them open. Fsst.

Just think about every option. To have numbers...

I'd rather not even talk about making decisions yet with them.

Just go, "Yeah, cool. You girls do what you want.

"Tell us who you want us to vote." But...

And then it really puts us in some power here.

Who I am is pretty fun, so...

Let's go.

Not here to (BLEEP) spiders.

(LAUGHS)

You gotta take the scalps.

Morals go out the window.

Survivor is a movie.

Everyone plays their part and their roles.

And in the end, I come out winning.

Action!

(DRAMATIC MUSIC)

Come on in!

What is this?

Oh, my God, there's a slide.

Oh, the slide looks sick!

I love this challenge. Yes!

Hi, Jonathan. Max.

Max, where's your hat?

Somebody, uh, stole it.

Brains getting your first look at the new Brawn tribe.

Candy voted out at last night's tribal council.

(BRAINS TRIBE EXCLAIM IN SURPRISE)

Her outfit was so fabulous.

How could you do that?

OTHERS: Nah.

Did you flush it?

It's flushed. Flushed.

Flushed.

(CHUCKLES)

So, Rich, are you surprised that Candy's gone?

I am. I actually thought old mate might let his ego ride

and not even play the idol.

Might be the one going home. But, you know, he's still here.

But yeah.

Looks like the pocket rocket's gone, mate.

All right. Are you ready to get to today's reward challenge?

ALL: Yes! All right.

For today's challenge, you're going to race down a giant slide

attempting to grab sandbags on your way down.

Once you have all your sandbags,

you'll use them to knock down puzzle pieces,

and you'll use those puzzle pieces to solve a giant floating puzzle.

First tribe gets it right wins reward.

Wanna know what you're playing for? Yes!

The winning tribe will get a choice today.

Either...

..one large fish.

(ALL EXCLAIM)

Enough to feed the entire tribe tonight.

That's not bad.

Or...

Fishing gear. Fishing gear.

..a deluxe fishing kit with everything you need

to potentially feed the entire tribe every single night.

Worth playing for? Yes!

All right, Brains, you have an extra player.

You're going to need to sit someone out.

Cannot be the same person in back to back challenges.

Who's it going to be?

All right, Ally, you're on the bench.

Everyone else, a minute to strategise.

We're gonna get to it. Let's go!

Let's go. (CHEERING)

All right, here we go.

For reward.

Survivors ready?

Go!

Ursula for Brawn and Zara for Brains.

Both grab their sandbag.

You need to get on the mat before the before the next person goes.

You're good, Brawn! Go!

Kristin on the slide now. She grabs one.

Almost gets two.

Indy gets one for Brains.

Go, go!

It's Kate on the slide.

Now she grabs the bag.

Oh, Kate!

And takes a tumble in the pit.

You OK? Yeah.

Nice. Laura gets her bag for Brains.

You OK?

Yeah, Noons.

Noonan racing down for Brawn.

Yes! She grabs the bag.

Karin misses her bag.

(BLEEP)

Ahhhh!

(CHEERING)

Morgan gets hers for Brawn.

(SLIDE SQUEAKS)

Go, Nash! You're good, Brawn!

You're good, Brains!

(CHEERING)

Logan grabs two.

(CHEERING)

PD gets two.

Kaelan gets two, drops his third one.

Someone can scoop that one.

Grab the other one on the way down! Ben gets one.

Myles gets two for Brains!

Go, go, go, go! You're good, Brawn, go!

Go, Brains!

Zen ten gets two for Brawn.

Max gets one for Brains.

Brawn have all their sandbags.

Everyone needs to be down the slide and on the mat

before you can move on.

Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!

Kent grabs that last bag on his way through.

Paulie's the last one for Brawn.

You're good! Start unloading your sandbags on your table.

AJ is the last one for Brains.

You're good, Brains. Start unloading your sandbags.

Take your time.

It's Jesse and Ben throwing for Brawn.

It's Max and Rich for Brains.

Rich takes out one.

Yeah, nice.

Yeah, Jesse!

Jesse takes out a piece, and another piece.

Nice, Ben!

(CHEERING) Wow!

Ben takes out five pieces.

Brawn have half their pieces down.

Come on, baby.

Brains have knocked out some more pieces.

Brawn have a bunch.

Jesse connects, taking out a bunch of pieces on that top row.

Max taking out some pieces on that bottom row for Brains.

OK. Go, boys.

Brains have used all their sandbags.

They're gonna need to reload.

You don't need to get all of them. Don't need to get all of them.

Quickly, boys. Just grab all the front ones.

Go, go, go! Same story with Brawn.

Leave Ben in. No, leave Ben in.

Leave Ben in.

Jump in. Let's go, let's go!

Good work, guys.

Nash, come over this side.

Oh, come on.

It's Nash throwing for Brawn.

Myles and Kaelan throwing for Brains. Come on!

Someone go for the top one.

(CHEERING)

Kaelan takes out two pieces.

And another piece.

One piece left.

Come on, Nash.

Bit higher. Go, go.

(CHEERING)

And Brains does it.

Grab your pieces. Head into the water.

They have a huge lead.

Meanwhile, Brawn is still firing furiously.

(BLEEP) Come on, Zen!

Come on, Nash.

Bit higher. Go.

How did Nash (BLEEP) get in there? He says, "I wanted to get in."

Said he's got a good arm.

NASH: Swap it out on this side. Get in, Paul.

Brains have a huge head start on that puzzle.

Pieces over here. Make it look face up.

Make sure they don't float away, all right?

Where's Indy? Go.

Indy going up the tower for Brains.

(BRAINS CHEER FOR INDY)

Nearly there, nearly there. A few more.

It's PD and Ben.

Yeah, Ben!

That's so good.

You're good, Brawn. Grab your pieces.

Head into the water.

You're gonna need to work quickly to catch up now.

The border is already in position for you,

so there are some clues there.

All right. Good. There, good.

Indy clearly in charge.

That's good. Stop.

To the middle.

Brains working on the corners.

Indy did well on the last puzzle.

The triangle.

Maybe puzzles are her thing.

Yeah. Good work.

Put 'em in front of me, over here.

Put him in front of him at the front.

It's Paulie for Brawn going up the tower.

Open it up, open it up!

Shh! Listen. Listen to him!

Morgan!

Ursula. All right, give that to Ursula.

Paulie thinks he sees something.

That piece. The triangle...

Meanwhile, the puzzle is coming together for the Brain tribe.

Oi, oi, we got two here. We got two here.

Bring 'em, bring 'em, bring 'em.

AJ flipping pieces around for Brains.

Pass it. No, no, it doesn't go there.

Indy not convinced that's the right piece.

Use names, Indy.

I'm trying, I'm trying.

Everything has slowed down on the Brains tribe.

That opens the window for Brawn.

Here. Yeah, yeah.

OK. That piece...

See if this works. Right there.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Good. Right there.

Brawn are getting a rhythm.

Huge reward on the line.

Both tribes neck and neck.

Go! Quick! Go, go, go, go, go, go.

Just put it in.

Put it in. Where's the next? Hand it in!

Hand in the next piece, guys. Come on.

It's coming down to the wire. Who's going to get it first?

Again, again. Stop there.

Two pieces left for Brains.

Two left for Brawn.

Put it in!

Last piece for Brains.

That is it! And Brains win reward!

Yes!

(TRIBE CHEERS)

It's massive! That's a piece of fish.

Oh, my God, that's massive.

"Congratulations!

"Your tribe has won a choice between a fresh fish

"or a fishing kit that could feed the tribe every day.

"Choices are everything in this game. Consider it carefully."

Yeah, so, I think basically with the fishing gear,

we could be getting little fish that I saw

when we were swimming earlier. Yeah.

Just near the shore, there's tiny little fish.

There's some that are a bit bigger.

We've got a huge tuna, one of my favourite fish to eat.

But then I saw that hand spear, I saw that snorkel, and I thought,

"I gotta go play with Nemo."

So, yeah, I was sold.

Guys, we're never going to get this amount of food out of that. 100%.

But it might be less food over a longer period of time, right?

There's another knife in here as well.

OTHERS: Yeah.

Hands up if we want fishing kit.

All right, guys. What are we doing? Fishing gear?

Let's do it. Fishing gear.

We did it! That was nice.

Go, team! Go, team!

Regretfully.

Yes. I'd rather the tuna all day.

But I settled for it because I'm not going to going to start an argument

over one day's feed.

Yeah, I'm just...hungry.

Yeah, same. I'm starving.

I mean, it's good to get, like, the knife and stuff,

but I just don't see us getting, like, big enough fish

to feed 12 people. Nah.

At the moment, we're a really hungry side, and we need some tucker

in our guts.

Richie! Got out.

Being a fisherman,

I also know in my head of heads, there is no way we're catching fish

in 100 days or 200 days out here.

Come on, bro. Pull your head in.

Oh!

(EXCLAIMS)

A great little fish. Keep going.

Anyway.

Ladies and gentlemen...

Yep. Put it on, put it on.

(SINGS TRIUMPHANT TUNE) ..I'm back.

It's more of a crown than a hat.

I'd like to actually enjoy sitting in the shelter.

Like, you know how you see people, and they're just...

..when they're sitting, they're just hanging out in their shelter.

I'd like to be able to hang out and not be like, "Ew! Ew!"

The shelter is the bane of my existence.

I hate it with a passion.

It irritates me beyond belief.

And we've called it the pigpen, because it is a pigpen.

Jesus Christ. Ooh!

How on the Brains tribe we managed to build the most godawful shelter

that I've ever seen.

I don't understand.

All right. Oi, guys, this structure at the moment

currently isn't going to work for 12 of us.

What I've suggested is that today we rope it.

It's... We don't need anything in the ground in here.

Turn it into a raft.

We're not going to turn it into a raft,

because you're probably... (LAUGHS) Multi-purpose.

Building a shelter is how you build morale.

You get to know each other, you chit-chat

while you're hammering something.

Yeah, the same length as this one.

You put up a slat and you're like, "Oh, cool!

"You work in this, you know that." Whatever.

But not everyone wanted to get involved.

This sucks. Like, it's our day off too, and I would love

to be snorkelling on our day off. Yeah.

You know, I know we've gotta make a bed, but this is a big task.

It's no secret that Rich

is not one of my favourite human beings on this tribe.

What's next?

Let's just go the simple way about this.

It's not Grand Designs.

He's not helping us build the shelter.

It'll take ages.

Shelter.

He barely helps around camp as it is.

Bow-chicka-wow-wow.

He's been so loud and obnoxious.

Hey, Indy. Did you have the knife?

Oh, no. I've gone rogue!

He doesn't provide anything.

(GRUNTS)

Myles, he smallest, scrawniest man in the tribe works harder.

And I... Argh. I can't. Cannot.

Yeah.

So I reckon, if we are going to get far in the game,

we might have to get rid of a big boy.

Yeah. I was just thinking about it.

Which big boy would you get rid of, though?

I say Rich.

You reckon Rich? He's the glue.

He's 100% the glue.

He holds Max. He holds Kaelan.

Yeah, that's... Get him out.

Get him out. OK. All right.

I'm just gonna chill out for a bit.

Rich is the glue that's connecting boys together,

and the only way you can isolate other players for yourself

is if you take away the glue.

So what's the name?

ALL: Rich. Yep, yep, yep, yep.

Just trust that.

He's too erratic.

And once he's gone, he's the linchpin.

The culture of our entire group will change.

Yeah.

All right, we need to talk to Indy today as well.

(BOYS CHANT)

It doesn't matter, though.

Yeah, yeah.

We will.

So big Rich. Ah! We've got a target now.

Come on in.

Oh, my gosh.

Oh, what is happening here?

This is massive.

Hey, Jon.

Oh, look.

Your hat's changed.

You're looking at a Max 3000X, courtesy of the wonderful Indy.

I'm feeling good.

It's gonna be a big one.

All right, so, Kaelan, I'm curious.

What did you choose - the fish or the fishing gear?

Feed a man for a for a day, give him a fish, or feed him for a lifetime

and give him the fishing gear.

We got a few fish yesterday, so I think...

Yeah, it was the right choice.

All right. You ready to get to today's immunity challenge?

TRIBES: Yeah! First things first.

Say your last goodbye.

Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.

For today's challenge, two of you will climb a giant spool

and untie it from a frame.

The rest of you will then push that spool through a course,

collecting sandbags and targets along the way.

Once you get to the end, you'll place your targets in position

and two of you will attempt to land a sandbag on each of the targets.

The first tribe to land four sandbags

wins immunity and is safe from the vote.

Losers, tribal council, where somebody is going to become

the second person voted out of this game.

Brains, you have an extra player. You're gonna need to sit someone out.

Cannot be the same person in back to back challenges.

Who's it going to be?

I'll sit out, Jon.

All right, Indy, you're on the bench.

Everyone else, a minute to strategise.

Let's get to it.

All right, here we go.

We have our throwers in position.

It's Max and Rich for Brains.

Morgan and Ben for Brawn.

Hello! For immunity.

Survivors ready?

Go!

Yep. Ready. Ready.

Kristin and Jesse on the spool, untying those knots for Brawn.

Good, Jesse. Nice, Jesse.

And AJ and Myles for Brains.

Keep going. AJ. Keep going.

Pull, Jesse! Pull the rope off, Jesse!

Yes! You're good. Start pushing, Brawn.

All right, get Kristin down.

Work it out, Jess. Work it out.

Jesse staying up for Brawn.

The pro skateboarder.

This should be a piece of cake for Jesse.

Slow it down.

You want to go as fast as you can without losing your balance.

That's the trick here.

AJ, standing up for Brains.

Go, go, go, go, go.

Oh! Almost loses his balance.

Slow, guys. Slow. Slow. Slow. Slow.

Slow. Slow. Slow.

Go, go, go, go. It's fine, it's fine.

I've got a bag coming up.

Brawn have a slight lead.

They're getting close to that first set of sandbags.

All right. Stop! Stop!

Jesse unclips the first one.

Let's go! Go, go, go, go!

Moving on to the second bag.

(BLEEP)

One more. Come on, let's go. Sorry.

Brains are right on their tail.

Yeah! Go, go!

Push! Let's go!

Brains moving on.

Brains have a slight lead.

Jesse struggling with that second one.

Let's go, let's go, let's go!

Oh!

All right. Yep. Go!

Finally, he has it.

We're off, Jess.

Keep going, keep going.

Brains really getting the hang of it.

Coming up, coming up, coming up.

They have a nice rhythm.

Coming up. Get ready, get ready. One more, one more, one more.

There we go. There we go.

Drains at the second set of bags.

Slow it down, slow it down, guys.

Brawn looking a little shaky.

It's actually pretty tricky.

That's surprising from Jesse.

I know he likes to skateboard.

Yep. Go, go, go, go.

Brains have the second set of bags. Let's go, AJ.

Speeding along now.

Brawn dropping behind.

Harder on the right.

One more incoming. One more incoming!

Brains have all their sandbags.

You're good! Now move on to the next one.

Keep going, keep going, keep going.

Gotta get under that frame.

Ready. One more, one more, one more, one more, one more, one more.

That's it, that's it, that's it.

Gotta spin those discs off the posts.

There we go. All right, there's one.

That's it, that's it.

Finally, Brawn are at their frame.

Hold up, hold up. Yep.

Get ready.

Nice, guys. Two targets for Brains.

OK, stop!

Stop!

Nice, AJ. Come on, Jesse!

Jess! Jesse working quickly,

trying to catch up for Brawn.

Wow! Yes, Jesse!

Doing really well.

Come on! Yes!

Well done! Yeah. Well done.

All right. Got it.

AJ has the last target for Brains.

They're moving on.

You all good, AJ? Don't worry about me.

Don't worry about me.

Let it drop. Let it drop. Let it drop.

Jesse has the last one for Brawn. They're moving on.

Go, go, go, go!

We're going too far left.

We're going too far left. Shift the left side.

Brawn struggling here... Oh!

..allowing Brains to pull away.

Brace yourself. Brace yourself.

All the way under the tower.

You gotta lock it in! That's it, that's it, that's it.

You're good, Brains.

Now you got to pass those sandbags up into the tower.

Pass them up. Bags, bags.

Let's go.

Lift the other side, Jess!

That's enough, that's enough.

Roll, roll, roll, roll.

You're in, Jess. You're in. Slow down. Don't hit the thing.

Slow, slow, slow.

Keep going, keep going.

Stop, stop, stop!

You're good, Brawn!

Get those sandbags up into the tower.

Let's go, let's go!

Yep. Got it. Go, go, go, go!

Brains have all their sandbags up top.

Now they're working on their targets.

Need some help to get up?

It's Myles going up for Brains.

Someone hand it up.

Go, Myles. Well done, Myles. It's in.

OK. Another. Another. Jesse.

Jess! Brawn has all their sandbags up.

Zara's up for Brains now also.

Bang it in. Bang it in.

That's in. That's in. They're in.

Pass me one.

Ursula going up.

(GRUNTS)

Ready? Up. Kate also going up for Brawn.

Come over.

Brains have three targets in position.

One to go.

Myles swings it up.

You're good! Go, throwers.

Rich and Max start tossing their sandbags.

Bit more.

Oh! Come on, boys.

Oh!

Less distance, less distance!

Brains leads, 1-zip.

Go, boys. It's all right, Kate, you got it.

Good job, Katie.

You're good, Brawn.

It's Ben and Morgan tossing for Brawn.

Nup.

You need to land a sandbag on each of your targets.

(CHEERING) Brawn lands one.

We're tied, 1-1.

Brawn land a second.

Oh, and right out of nowhere,

Brawn have a three point lead.

One more. One more. One more.

Oh! Come on!

Oh, shit. Oh, shit.

Brains had a big lead in this challenge.

It has evaporated.

Oh!

Oh! Come on. Yes! That's in.

Brains land another one.

It's right on the edge.

Go!

Oh, my... Oh, no!

Brains knock off a sandbag.

They're back to one. Oh!

Take your time. You can do it. You can do it.

Agh! Brawn can't get that last target.

Manifest. Manifest, guys. You can do it. You can do it.

They're gonna get it. Take your time.

They're gonna get it. The next one.

Brawn going for the win.

Agh!

And that is it!

Brawn wins immunity,

sending Brains to tribal council for the first time.

Not today!

Well done. Well done.

Well done. Well done.

Good job, guys.

All right! Yee-yee-yee!

Brawn, congratulations.

Immunity is yours.

Who wants it?

Well done.

All right, Brawn, you are safe. Nobody going home.

Head back to camp.

Enjoy your night off.

Yes! Whoo-hoo!

Good luck, guys. Good job.

Nice work, Brawn.

All right, Brains, tribal council tonight, where one of you will become

the second person voted out of the game.

Grab your gear. Head on out. I'll see you tonight.

Oh, the last thing we want to do is be at tribal council.

But the coven has united, and the witches will fly tonight.

Broom at the ready.

Bye-bye, Rich!

Solid effort today, guys. We were right in there.

We were really close, so I don't think there's anything different

we really could have done.

Yeah.

I'm gonna go wash my hair in the ocean.

Does anyone want to come? Yeah, I'd love to.

It's party time now? Yeah.

(TENSE, FOREBODING MUSIC)

KENT: I'm going to my first tribal council,

and any word that exudes amazement and happiness I feel right now,

because Myles is going home.

(LAUGHS)

How are you feeling? I'm totally fine.

I'm loving every single second of it.

Good. Perfect. Yeah.

This is what I'm here for. This is what I want.

Obviously, the consensus seems to be for Myles.

I'm gonna have fun tonight.

I'm gonna... You watch. You w...

You're a little bit too happy, all right?

It's velvet sledgehammer.

I am... I am the praying mantis.

My plan is to slowly eat him alive.

I have pretty much a lay down misere on Myles going home.

Well, I don't know what you've heard, but the plan is Myles.

Yeah. Are you... Are you...

I just... I don't know, just because he's good at challenges and, like...

Do you honestly think he's good at good at challenges?

He's the same height as me, mate. Yeah.

The majority is 100% him.

Yeah.

Nothing's changed, bro. Nothing's changed?

All the seeds have been planted.

But now...

I've seen so many tribals where that scramble ends up creating

people making the wrong decision.

So...

..I don't want to be a part of it.

MYLES: I'm like, "Yeah. That's crazy. OK, sure."

She's like, "Yeah, I think there's a...the bros alliance

"is kinda dominating things at the moment."

Anyway, you go. Yeah. Um...

Yeah. So... You've...

You j...just... Yeah.

It's probably looking bad for you now.

For me? Yeah.

But don't talk about this or do anything.

Are you able to tell me who is throwing my name out?

I think there's a bit of consensus.

They're just nervous that you're, um...

..that you know too much about the game.

Is it that bad? Do you think that there's that, like,

strong against me that it's not...?

Yeah. You're being too much at the moment.

Yeah, yeah. So everyone says

you're just talking too much, trying to do too much strategy,

and that's freaking them out, so... OK.

I thought I was actually in a fairly comfortable position,

but apparently not.

Chill, bro. I'll keep working with you, but just play it cool

and just try and work the angle.

So I initiate Operation Play It Cool.

I'm gonna be not strat chatting.

I'm gonna be hanging around the camp being Mr No Strat,

and just hope that the people that I get along with

can shove maybe one of the easier votes under the bus.

Chill mode. Yeah. Yeah.

The boys want to control the vote, and the plan is as before.

Let them think they're calling the shots.

OK.

They can figure out what they want to do.

Well, yeah, I mean, I think just let them...

..let them fight it out today.

Let them do them.

OK. Yep.

Are you fine with that? I am fine with that.

What I'm not OK with, and just processing, to be honest...

My concern is being a number and not actually contributing

to the conversation.

But how many people can be a contributor in a group of 12?

There's so many of us,

and not everybody's idea is going to get across the line

in the first go.

Yeah. Yeah, absolutely.

I agree.

I honestly am just going to go with the majority today.

Like, it is too hard. We're hungry, we're tired.

The whole nine yards. Until I'm told something different,

this is what we're doing.

My coven want Rich's head on a stick.

We want the majority to be us.

Tomorrow on the beach, there's six of us, there's five of them.

From tomorrow, we have majority.

And that's not great for my game, because he's such a good puppet.

Ideally, in these situations, I'd like to get us three together,

the VBs, you know, so we can all chat it through.

Yeah.

Yes. The coven is my core alliance.

I want to get rid of Rich so bad.

Tonight will be where, like, it's a clear line in the sand.

But I'm going to do everything I can possibly do to get Rich's name

out of their mouth,

because Rich is better for my game personally.

OK.

The one thing I wanted to do coming into this game

was to play the damn game with people who want to do the same.

So I had the conversation with the girls about their plan...

..which was to commit to the majority of the girls,

so just girls strong.

The problem with that is that I was notified about it last night.

This conversation didn't start last night.

I feel like I would like some options here, and so far

we seem to have been dictated, and I don't like it.

If the girls only included me in the last moments of something

that they decided over days,

well, they're not actually interested in me.

What they want is a number,

and my vote doesn't live in St Kilda on a street corner.

It's not gonna be there for 20 bucks tomorrow.

So here's the thing. I'm not a pawn here.

I'm a player. I came here to play.

And that's exactly what I'm going to do.

OK. Here's the thing.

I was talking to the girls last night,

with, um, Ally and Karin. Yeah.

So what she's done is

she's slowly got the alliance with the girls together

to take on as pretty much the leader of the pack.

What it creates is a girls strong position for them.

Yep, yep.

Now, they've asked me to help, to be a part of that,

so that it's all girls, and then we end up getting rid of yourself.

Now, the way I figure it... Sorry. Who goes, out of us two?

You. What? They said this?

They said it to my face.

They want... They want you gone.

They've been plotting this.

And I...now, by telling you this,

I am actually now... Yeah, OK.

..I've lied to their face. OK. How do we play this?

You've got one chance to be the majority right now,

and I'm giving it to you.

But this is your only chance to do it, because I tell you what,

I'm safe as (BLEEP) right now. So I'm putting my game

and everything I stand for on the line right now.

So if you (BLEEP) me over, just remember, I'm...I'm black.

No, I'm serious.

(SUSPENSEFUL, DRAMATIC MUSIC)

INDY: I was talking to the girls last night.

Now, they've asked me to help, to be a part of that,

so that it's all girls, and then we end up getting rid of yourself.

What? They said this? They said it to my face.

But I'm putting my game

and everything I stand for on the line right now.

So if you...if you (BLEEP) me over, just remember, I'm...I'm black.

No, I'm serious.

Thank you. Yeah.

Cheers. Thanks.

Give me a water bottle so I don't look like an idiot going back.

OK, cool.

Did you just hear that? She just threatened.

She's like, "You can't get rid of... I'll do what I want."

Yep.

Oh... Do you think we just get rid of her?

I...I agree that we should take out Rich. I agree.

My fear is, if we break this majority that we currently have,

we give the other side numbers.

So you don't want to do it?

I'm all...I'm here for shaking the boat.

But if this doesn't work out and Rich stays, that is not good.

Do you know what I mean? Yeah. OK.

So we just stick to the plan.

Just stick to Myles. OK.

I know, but we just gotta... I'll tell her.

Check back in on the boys and check back.

OK. All right.

Yo.

There's been a change of plans.

What? Oh, God. Why?

Rich needs to think that he has some kind of power before we cut.

He needs to feel confident that... So tonight's vote is not Rich?

Tonight, I reckon... I honestly think we go back to Myles.

No. No, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no.

Why? Why are we placating this ego? Why are we...

Why do we care about him? Why do we care what he thinks?

He needs to think he has troops.

Why? If he's not here, we don't care whether or not

he thinks he has troops. He already thinks he has troops.

Guys, I don't wanna change the plan.

I don't want to change the plan.

I don't wanna change the plan.

I'm just worried about tomorrow and the day after,

that they'll form...and they have numbers.

We need to take one of their numbers.

The number is Rich.

Peekaboo.

So, Indy.

She just informed me and Max that everyone was against us.

Yeah, she told me not to trust any of you guys.

That you're talking about getting rid of me.

Just then. What?

She goes in, "And if you vote for me, I'm coming after you."

And I said, "Excuse me, is that a threat? I'll vote...

"I'll vote for whoever I want." Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

She just... She just dropped a bomb...

She just dropped a bombshell.

Don't play emotional. This is the card game.

We all want the money.

Take it or leave it. I agree.

OK.

KARIN: Oh, my God.

Indy.

You give someone the entire world on a platter and you say,

"It's not you. We have a future.

"I am trying to save you."

And she sets her own lifeboat on fire.

Why would you tell Rich?

I don't trust a word that girl says.

Now we have to back-pedal.

So you're happy with that? Great.

You're happy with that? OK. Let's do it.

OK, so we're loading on Indy.

The girls want to go ahead with Indy now

because she's broken our trust and woe is me.

Cool.

And then some people are under the impression

that we're voting for Myles.

KENT: Nice little sleep.

RICH: Kent.

All right, bro. All... All set?

Oh, how (BLEEP) stupid.

Mate... No, no, no, no, no.

This whole thing... No, no, no, no, no. Please.

Mate... Please, please.

No, no, no, listen, listen...

Who's voting Myles? Why don't you vote, Myles?

Of course I'm voting Myles.

Chill, bro. Just take it easy.

Your name's not... I'm telling you right now.

I was literally having a sleep before. I'm not stressed.

Until you come up and said, "It's all changing."

I just knew that... Because you were gone.

But I still think this is the best time to get Rich out.

The whole point of this in the first place was to keep a girl.

A girl we trust. We can't trust her.

She's as good as a boy.

Nervous.

I've just spoken to Kent. He's understandably pretty frazzled.

So in that order, you and me vote Myles.

Everyone else is doing their thing.

KARIN: Tonight my vote is gonna be about

who is who is going to be a logical player

that I can work with moving forward.

So how tribal plays out will determine who goes home.

KENT: Apparently, Indy freaked out, and on the back of that freak-out,

the girls all wanted to vote for her, but I don't care.

Myles, that little touch, that bit of venom is in your veins.

You're already dying.

I'm coming to eat you alive.

(LAUGHS)

JLP: Watch Brains tackle Brawn in the ultimate battle for survival,

with full episodes over on 10 Play.

(SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC)

Big Jonathan.

Behind each of you is a torch. Go ahead, grab one.

Come forward, dip it in and get fire.

This is part of the ritual at tribal council,

because in this game, fire represents your life.

Once it's gone, so are you.

All right.

After five days, Brains is finally at tribal council.

Karin, is five days enough for everyone to get a good start

on the game?

I think so.

Like, you know, we've figured out where we belong in the tribe,

where the hierarchies lie, what each role in the tribe is.

It's just a matter of how you want to progress forward.

And you can't really do that until you get here.

Mm.

Myles, the other side of that is, you might initially

really respond to someone and really like them when you first meet them,

but after five days...

Uh, absolutely.

Um, after five days, I feel like some of the attitudes towards me

have started to sour a little bit.

And why do you think that is?

Well, I'm a very excitable person.

I have a lot of energy.

And I definitely came out, uh, red hot and raring to go.

And I think a lot of people saw that and kind of wish

I'd put on the brakes a little bit.

Well, I'll confront Myles on this one,

because Myles hit the ground running, like, day one.

And I was like, OK, this guy's really good.

This guy's going to go hard for me.

What am I going to do?

I need to be able to throw some stuff at him, potentially.

So you want to know what I did?

I burnt my mate's hat.

(ALL EXCLAIM)

Could you at least have given me a week?

I automatically thought it was Myles,

'cause you and me had a conversation, and you went,

"I bet it was Myles."

And I went, "You know what? I reckon you're right."

So hear me out. So my plan... My plan was, if needed,

was to basically accuse him of doing it...

I don't think that's...

I think that's just a bit nasty, to be honest.

On day one. You met him, like, 24 hours ago.

You burnt his hat. I'm sorry.

I think that is delusional.

At the end of this game, he's gonna...

..he's gonna get the coolest cowboy hat he's ever seen,

and I'm gonna buy it for him.

And it's not going to be some plastic ¤2 shop job.

It's going to be a beautiful leather one.

Enough about the hat. (LAUGHTER)

Still hurts? Yes, it still hurts.

So, Indy, this is a fun story, but is this game about to get real tonight

now that you're at tribal?

Oh, yeah. Definitely.

Whether the alliances are aware of it or not is a different story.

Although after this afternoon, I'm pretty damn sure they're sure.

Jonathan, last night some information that was relayed to Indy

was completely misconstrued, completely given to them...

Can I jump in there? It was kind of delivered to me.

So there has been a plan the whole time.

There's been a script. It's been rehearsed.

Because we've had five days to come to here

and we've been goddamn excited, and now we're here.

So when we get to this point and just before the dawn shoot-out,

I'm at the watering hole and someone comes up to me with late mail

that is, uh, damning, to say the least,

which is, uh, describing treachery within my own ranks.

I think Ally was speaking.

Yeah, Ally was speaking.

What I was going to say is that information was relayed

in a conversation, confidential, albeit, had around a fire,

that was then relayed back to Richard by Indy.

Yeah. That I was next.

OK, so, Karin, you didn't say to me, "I don't care who goes home

"as long as a boy goes home"?

Did you say those words?

I said, "I don't care, as long as a boy goes home."

Why I said I'd be happy if a boy went out,

because we wanted to protect you.

That's what we wanted to do.

What I said to you next... That's what we were trying to.

That's why I was trying to get to know you.

That's why this feels like a completely personal betrayal.

I didn't actually relay anything that wasn't said.

I gave no more or no less information than what you told me.

End of.

So, Karin, in a game where information is king,

it's kind of understandable that Indy took that information

and shared it with this side.

Yet somehow it feels like it's a very personal betrayal.

Oh, absolutely it's a betrayal.

You came to us and you said,

"I just want to open a line of communication."

And I thought we opened it, right? Right.

And I thought we opened up to each other.

You came to us on the beach and said,

"Hey, I just want to break bread. Let's talk."

And we invited you in. We said, "Let's talk.

"What do you want to do? What are your plans?

"What ideas do you have? Tell us. We're open ears."

You said, and I quote, "I don't want to be a number."

And we said, "There are 12 people. Someone will call the shots.

"We are all going to be numbers in this game."

Someone had to make a decision. Someone had to make a decision.

And the rest of us had to be soldiers.

12 people can't have their own plans. No, I understand that.

There can't be 12 plans.

You also had five days to garner relationships

and make your plans and create an alliance,

but I don't think you've always wanted to be.

I think you have a problem with authority.

So girl strong is not a thing?

OTHERS: You made it not a thing! That's my point.

If I made it not a thing, then it was a thing,

it was a plan and it was real, and I took it to the boys.

I didn't do anything wrong. I'm done.

Spicy, isn't it?

It's very spicy.

On a Scoville level, this is 1,000.

It's a cayenne pepper.

So, Rich, a lot of information has come out here.

What do you make of all this?

Well, I'm still coming down from a panic attack

on the beach, mate, so... (LAUGHTER)

What do you mean? When you heard your name? Is that what you're saying?

Hundred percent! I'm like, what's going on?

These are my peeps. This is my fam. OK.

I've worked really hard with these girls, especially the VBs,

the Victorian Bitters, and, um...

OK. Yeah.

No, well, these lovely ladies are from Victoria.

So this is the VBs.

Yeah, and we love beer.

So, Rich, you've heard some compelling stories.

Yep. Has that changed your calculus

with the vote?

No.

All I will say is, you can't hide in this game.

And sometimes it's your turn,

and when you least expect it, blindsides exist.

Sabotage exists and betrayal exists.

It all lives in the backyard of Survivor.

But I do know that eventually this tale has to end

and it only ends with one.

So, um... We'll see.

Hopefully we can last a little bit longer

and crack a couple more VBs, eh?

But, um, until then, I'm sitting pretty cool, hey.

All right, well, I think it is time to vote.

All right, well, I think it is time to vote.

Karin. You're up.

I'll go count the votes.

If anyone has an idol and you'd like to play it,

now would be the time to do so.

All right. I'll read the votes.

First vote.

Indy.

Myles. One vote Indy. One vote Myles.

Indy.

Myles. We're tied.

Two votes Indy. Two votes Myles.

Indy. That's three votes Indy.

Two votes Myles.

Indy. That's four votes Indy.

Two votes Myles.

Indy. Five votes Indy.

Two votes Myles.

Indy. Six votes Indy.

Two votes Myles.

Second person voted out of Australian Survivor: Brains vs Brawn...

..Indy.

That's seven votes. That's enough.

You need to bring me your torch.

Oh!

Indy.

The tribe has spoken.

Time for you to go. Thank you.

Bye, guys. See ya, Indy. Bye.

Well, tonight had it all.

Betrayal, defiance and pure chaos.

And that was just your first vote.

Grab your torches. Head back to camp.

Goodnight.

Tomorrow night...

Go! Go, go, go.

..in the bloodthirsty battle for immunity...

We are tied!

Kent takes another one for Brains!

..which side will survive a brutal encounter...

ALL: Ohhhh!

..before the Survivor gods...

The Brawn tribe, they'll be so easily fooled.

..demand their next sacrifice.

I feel so (BLEEP) powerful.

These women are completely taking control of this game.

The guys are gonna get picked off one by one.

I'm feeling a little bit sad, because I wasn't ready to go home.

I actually thought I could come here and be deceptive and lie.

Turns out I'm not great at it.

I will never understand why you didn't join our plan,

the girls plan, and instead you became the plan.

Um, yeah. It was brutal.

And I knew the risk when I took the action I took,

and it didn't pay off for me.

But that's the game I wanted to play,

and if I had to do it 100 times, I'd do it exactly the same way.

I make no apologies.
