Original subtitles

I'm just not sure anybody can survive here for 21 days.

Oh, my God!

Grant, go, go, go, go!

Oh, God!

Don't tap.

Die first.

Naked And Afraid.

My first impressions of the terrain around here.

It's definitely really steep and rocky.

But going into this challenge, I'm not really nervous.

I've done 14-days in Mexico. It was on a fan challenge.

Oh, there's a big toad.

We got him.

Who gets fire on day one, food on day two?

Yeah, it's pretty damn good.

I think we're doing better than both of our parents did.

My mom's the person that taught me everything I know in the survival game.

-I love you. -I love you, too.

She's done three challenges so far,

but I was 18 in my first challenge.

So I still hold the record for the youngest person

to ever complete a Naked And Afraid challenge.

She's not letting me come home.

If I don't stay there till 21.

-I know, I mean, there is quite a high-- -That's the rule!

That's the rule.

There's quite a high bar already.

I'm coming from my mom's title of Badass in the Jungle.

After I finish this, I'll only be a 40-day away from beating my mom.

It's kind of crazy.

That I got to spend 21 days out here.

It just keeps going up.

It is warm, it is humid.

There are some big trees, lots of critters.

I did a 14-day fan challenge in Tobago and I crushed it.

We got him.

This guy is my partner.

He's some badass.

I'm known for my hands.

I catch a lot of critters with them.

Or even venomous snakes when I was younger.

But I always like to be proactive when it comes to finding food.

- Got 'em. - Is that a fish in there?

There's the first one.

Nice.

The 14-day challenge made me so much more confident

about myself and a little bit cocky as well.

I think we need to do a 21-day now.

I'm ready. Let's do 21. Let's go.

When it comes to survival, my philosophy is to work slowly, steadily,

and think things through.

Common sense is, like, your best survival tool.

Stupid people annoy me.

So I do have a hard time watching people do things their own way.

When I'm used to doing things my way.

Looking at my environment,

a lot of steep terrain, a lot of dense jungle.

You can't see more than 20 yards in front of you.

This is totally alien to me.

But I completed the 14-day fan challenge in South Africa.

And I'm really hoping my luck holds up here.

Are you ready, South Africa?

Here I come.

My 14-day challenge really tested my fortitude...

I am Kayla.

...because, unfortunately, my partner tapped on day four.

And I was alone in the badlands of South Africa for 10 days.

This is exactly what I was afraid of, getting my firewood wet.

But I ain't done yet.

No way.

It definitely made me realize that I'm a survivor.

I got a turtle!

My survival weaknesses would definitely be,

I can be quite impulsive.

I've always been one to jump in headfirst instead of testing the waters.

The reason I'm back is because I got what it takes.

But I also know that I'm gonna have to

push myself to the limit and go that extra 7 days.

I'm hopefully gonna be able to adapt and show Colombia what I got.

Well, it looks like this is it.

Julia's proven tenacity and competitive spirit primes her for success.

But can she rise to her mom's All Star level?

Julia completed her fan challenge

with a primitive survival rating for PSR of 6.3.

Let's go.

All right.

Looks like I've reached my stop.

Forced to survive on his own,

Scott demonstrated grit in the face of adversity,

but his extreme survival skills remain untested outside of the African Bush.

He completed his fan challenge with a PSR of 5.8.

It's game time.

Let's go.

Here we go.

Frank's decades of experience and resourcefulness in the wild

will help him conquer an extra seven days.

But his resistance to differing survival styles could create friction

in a group of three.

He completed his fan challenge with a PSR of 6.0.

I'm more than a fan now.

I'm in Columbia and I'm here to crush it again.

Hey, hey. Naked person.

Hello.

How you doing?

Good. How are you doing?

Pretty good. Pretty good.

-I am a hugger. -Are you a hugger?

-Yeah. -Okay.

Hi, I'm Julia.

-I'm Frank. -Nice to meet you.

It's nice to meet you.

So, are you ready for this?

Yeah. I mean, I've done a 14-day in Mexico before,

so I'm pretty, pretty ready for the extra seven.

-Okay. -Yeah.

Yeah, I've done a 14 in Tobago,

so I think I'm about as ready as I could be.

Nice. So what are you good at?

I'm good at hunting, fishing, shelter building, stuff like that.

-And you? -Cool, cool.

Um, yeah. Shelter building, trapping, um, foraging.

-So, know the plants pretty well. -Right.

Awesome.

Hey, you guys!

- No way. - What the...

-Hey. -Look, a person, Come on down.

Careful.

Yeah.

Hey, I'm Scott.

- What an entrance. - I'm Frank.

Nice to meet you. How do you do?

Good.

Hi, Julia. Nice to meet you.

Julia, pleased to meet you.

Great. Well, three of us, eh?

-Yeah. -Yeah. Nice.

So, we've both done this before. Have you?

Yeah. I did the 14-day fan challenge.

- Ah, so we're all fans. - We're all fans?

I'm happy about this, you guys.

Yeah, this is awesome.

Did you finish your 14-day--

-Yes, I did. Did you? -Okay, cool.

-Yeah, of course. -You?

-Absolutely. -All right. All right. Good.

Yeah. We're gonna go find our bags, or what are we gonna do, hey?

-Yeah, let's do it. -All right, let's go.

It turns out we have three people.

That's a good surprise. More minds to think.

And finding out that all three of us have completed 14-day fan challenges,

is pretty reassuring because we all know we can do this.

So what's another seven days?

Look at that. I think I already see mine.

Well, I was kind of relieved

when I've seen another dude coming out of the jungle.

It's going to be tough out here and we're going to need all the hands we can.

- After you. - All right.

Well, I got the machete.

Nice.

All right, I've got some para cord.

I got our mosquito net.

In addition to their personal items,

the three are given a fire starter,

and a pot to boil water and a map.

Let's say, with the path of least resistance,

I mean, we're obviously on the water,

so we take the water down, see if we can get to this pool. It's a good spot.

All right. You think that pool is gonna be our home base?

- I bet you there would be a lot of resources. - I like the looks of it.

- Okay. All right, you guys, I'm excited. - Perfect.

-Have you been traveling to the jungle? -Let's do this thing.

Heck, yeah. Let's do this.

-All right. -All right. Let's go.

You got it.

Frank, Julia and Scott must survive

in the dense, mountainous jungle of coastal Colombia,

where punishing heat and violent tropical downpours

create ideal conditions for swarms of biting insects to make it 21 days.

These former fans must contend with the deadly jaguar,

and the Fe-de-lance, whose lethal hemotoxic venom

causes its victim's brain to hemorrhage and their organs to fail.

So far, how is this compared to you guys challenges?

For me, it's a competition between me and my mom

because she's done a few episodes.

Oh, wait. Your mom's done it?

Yeah. Trish Bulinsky.

Okay.

Crazy, curly hair. Super curly.

Yeah. Blonde, curly?

Yeah. Yeah.

This is definitely one of the legend's daughters.

That we're... I am lucky enough to be a partner with.

Trish was a go-getter.

That just ups the game even more so.

You know, honestly, if Trish is a badass,

I know that Julia is going to be even more of a badass out here.

Well, hopefully, we can get some shelter going.

I'd love to get started on that before it gets too dark.

Yeah.

I don't really see any flat spot

- that's not covered in rocks. - Okay.

- Which we can always-- - So we keep on going.

Yeah. Hey, I am down with that.

We're looking for a base camp,

and one of the biggest cons I see so far are all the rocks.

There's no soft spot around here.

Well, that's a sweet little pool.

I like this.

Nice.

We've got our own swimming pool in the jungle.

I'd say we just set up right here,

but I don't see any good flat space that's not full of rocks.

I don't think it's our survival area.

No, I think we've got to go down a little bit more.

- Yeah. - -Hopefully it flattens out and opens up for us.

It's extremely humid, extremely hot.

I'm losing water like crazy out of my pores,

and I can't wait to get some water in me.

I hope we can find our base camp.

It looks like we've got another pool down here.

- We got a pool? - Another one, yeah.

Nice.

It's definitely open down here.

Mmm-hmm.

This would actually be a really good spot.

What do you think we should do?

Oh, looks like we might be jumping.

All right, Frank. I am following your lead, buddy.

All right.

Uno, dos, tres!

At the bottom of the waterfall,

it's looking like there is a lot of natural resources.

We have a swimming pool, we have a flat, open area.

- Definitely more wide open than everywhere else. - -It's a good spot.

Yeah, we got a breeze.

It's a bit of high ground there, plenty of wood for firewood around.

Do you think this would be a good spot?

Unless it starts storming.

Can you imagine this during the rainy season?

Yeah, I think it's the beginning of it.

- Is it really? - Yeah.

In my mom's first time in Colombia,

she had a flash flood.

That's definitely not something I wanna encounter out here.

Well, this area definitely has the potential of flash flooding.

But I'm really not worried about that.

I know the signs of what to look for.

If a big storm floods my camp, I'm gonna move to higher ground.

Because that's about the only thing you can do.

This spot's not ideal, but it's our best option in this rocky terrain.

The sun's definitely going down,

so should we clear the spot or, uh...

- I think so. - -What are you thinking for a shelter?

- I think a just a nice, big A-frame. - -Yeah.

That way, we can all have our own place to sleep.

- Fire in the middle. - Okay.

And a opening on one end.

- Okay. - Yeah.

A-frame is like my go-to shelter.

They're really effective.

They're really good at shedding water.

Easy to maintain.

You can make 'em pretty much any size you want.

- All right. - -Just watch yourself, okay?

Can you pull it out, like that?

- Yep. I'm pulling it. - Okay.

After the hike to our base camp, I'm feeling depleted,

feeling dehydrated, and I've gotta get some water in me

before it gets out of hand.

The waterfall runoff that's coming down,

would that be something we could drink fresh?

I can't wait. I can't wait.

I tried a little bit of the water.

I'm a risk-taker.

With risk comes reward.

I'm gonna wait.

No offense, but see how your body reacts to it.

- Got it? - Yep.

Okay.

Scott kinda worries me a little.

It's all risk-reward, you know.

But to drink right out of the river,

it's a little reckless.

I think we should shorten the crossbeam.

Julia, she seems real sure of herself and that's good

'cause after, uh, seeing the area we're in

and what we're up against, um, I'm glad to have her on my team.

This shelter will not be done before dark.

I'm hoping to have most of the skeleton done.

And tomorrow, at the end of day tomorrow,

I hope to have a rainproof roof.

All right, night one.

- Whoo-hoo! - We got a fire going.

We've got water boiling.

Oh, man.

Oh, boy..

I'm definitely getting, uh, some stomach issues happening.

I might have some diarrhea.

Stomach just dropping.

I'm just really getting beat up inside.

I think the water, it was bad.

Oh, my God.

I'll be back.

Yeah, I gotta take care of some business.

Since I've drank the water, I... I've been having

a little bit of stomach issues.

I'm definitely worried 'cause diarrhea is no joke.

You'd get dehydrated really fast.

This is a self-inflicted wound in the end,

and possibly being med tapped because of that.

I'm really kicking myself.

Jesus Christ, this sucks.

It's demoralizing.

What's going on over there?

My digestive system doesn't like me very much right now.

I didn't get the best sleep.

I had some diarrhea, once in the night and once this morning.

I'm feeling really dehydrated in this humidity, it's just making me sweat.

I'm dripping sweat and it's insane.

I hear something boiling.

Is that our water? Yep.

I think it's best if I go ahead and hydrate more.

- Okay. - -Um, especially with me having diarrhea.

Yeah.

Well, there's definitely different types of survivalists.

You know, I'm more of a traditional, old school survivalist

and, uh, and Scott's like what I would call a... a radicalist survivalist.

Drinking water right out of the river,

it was a bad decision.

And, uh, if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.

He's got that part down.

I'm gonna drink some water.

It doesn't necessarily have to be super cool.

I could go up and get some bamboo,

make water filtration system.

It's gonna produce drinkable water a lot quicker than boiling.

I'd really appreciate that.

A water purification system is gonna be beneficial.

Good, clean water almost instantly.

It's gonna combat what's happening to him.

Oh. Oh.

It's really tight in here, so kinda when we chop one down,

it just gets stuck.

These bugs are horrible.

My feet are wrecked, but it's worth it.

We can make cups,

water containers and, uh, our filtration system.

Perfect.

- You see all this white crap on the inside? - -Yeah.

Scrub that out with those roots and some sand.

All right.

My primitive survival skills are pretty tight.

And one thing I learned when I was younger

was how to make a water purification system solely out of bamboo.

Bamboo stalks are a series of watertight compartments

called nodes.

Primitive water purification works by stacking nodes

with small holes carved into the bottom.

The first node is filled with sand,

which traps dirt and larger impurities.

The second contains charcoal,

which captures bacteria on a microscopic level.

When water is poured through this two-step filter,

it can be safely consumed without boiling.

- Nice. - Look at that.

Oh, you know, that is sexy.

This is awesome, dude.

Frank is definitely an invaluable resource out here.

Right now, it's tough.

I'm feeling depleted, feeling dehydrated,

but we have a water filtration system,

so we don't have to boil water. Mind blown.

Just this weight was lifted off my shoulders.

We got thunder.

We got some rain.

Thunder, it is the worst sound

you could possibly hope to hear.

Right now, game plan, palm fronds.

Protection from the rain.

The rain is just now starting to pick up.

And we're making a last-ditch effort to get the roofing

on a little bit better on our shelter

so this rain doesn't get us too, too bad tonight.

You guys, that okay? I bug you very much at all?

Not really.

- No, water came through over here. - It's wet over there.

Yeah. I was pretty dry.

I had to lay in the rain for a little bit, just to refresh.

I was still, my body is running hot.

So, like, probably the stomach issues and stuff like that.

Yesterday we drank Frank's water from his filtration system

and my diarrhea has definitely slowed down

and I'm feeling a lot better, and I'm really grateful.

We'll have a little bit more roof up here tonight.

-All right, let's go. Let's get it done. -Let's do it.

We only have half of a shelter.

We gotta get that fixed because being stuck

in a tropical rainforest without a shelter

during a thunderstorm,

that's not a place I think any of us want to be.

A lot of birds of paradise up there.

That's what we need, dude.

You find something?

A bunch of birds of paradise and good roofing material.

Okay, all right.

I'll work on these

and just throw them down and we'll pile them up.

Yeah.

Weather proofing the shelter

is the number one priority right now

because that's our life in there.

That's the one piece of comfort we have out here.

It's really important we get these holes in the roof patched.

How do you wanna keep them tucked up there?

You just break them over like this.

-And then... -Stick them down?

Yeah, just kind of throw them like this.

- Just keep piling them up there. - -Yeah.

How's that looking?

Looks really good, actually.

That's the last one, maybe.

I'm hoping.

That's not bad, huh.

No, Definitely not.

All right.

So we got our shelter.

I can't believe I actually thought

we would have this done on day one.

Way too high of expectations on my part.

Especially when I sleep on rocks and twigs.

Tomorrow, I'm gonna look for some materials

to make a bed with.

That would be great.

- Is that the kind of stuff we can use for a bed or no? - -Yeah.

Put them in here long ways where we cleared out that spot

-and start measuring slats and cutting them. -All right.

I have the rocky side of the shelter,

so every movement was a little painful.

I feel beat up.

I mean, it's gonna move a little bit,

depending on how much you flop around it.

It's better than rocks, bro.

-Yeah. -A lot better than rocks.

Yeah, it is.

You're tired. You're hungry.

You're sleepy. I mean, you're sore.

Still, it's an everyday battle for that, just little bit of comfort and sleep.

So these are going to be the rails for the bed

and I got a digging stick here.

We'll use this to set them

- to make them as level as possible. - -Okay.

-And use the gravel and sand to kind of lock them in place. -Okay.

And then you can start slatting it out.

Yeah.

We had some logs laying around,

that we picked up out of the river.

Now, take your digging stick and dig a trench here.

-Okay. -That'll help hold it level.

So that's pretty good right there.

All right.

And these palm fronds have, like,

these eight to ten ft long stems on them

that are just, you know, big.

So we set the rails, dig them in,

make them as level as possible, push sand up in them.

And then start cutting links.

And just like an assembly line,

Scott's measuring them, I'm cutting them.

And tossing them to Julie.

Julie stacking them on the bed

and the bed was done in a matter of minutes.

Oh, my God, are you kidding me?

Oh!

This is so much better.

Once again, Frank, he just blows my mind.

Yeah, this is gonna... This is what I need.

This is good day.

I'm really happy.

We finished waterproofing the shelter.

We've tackled the bed situation.

The teamwork has been amazing, but everyone is exhausted.

So Frank and Julia are going to go take a nice little bath.

I'm going to go ahead,

put the leaves down on the bed.

I'm really excited.

The bed's gonna make a difference.

What?

Where?

Where is it? Where is it?

Where?

Where is it?

No way.

Oh, my God.

Julia hits the water and pops back up, holding it.

Oh, my God.

Look how big that is.

Oh, my God.

I've just never been so proud of anybody in my life.

This being the first big kill

that we've had, I mean, the adrenaline is just insane.

And I'm just happy that we could all eat tonight.

All right, looks like it's lizard time.

All right, Julia.

Look at this.

-Come on. -Bringing us home dinner.

All right.

So we're just gonna prop this guy up.

And now we are cooking lizard.

Oh, my gosh.

That looks so tender.

It's almost like a fish fillet.

Yeah.

Julia, she's being humble as heck, but I can tell you this.

She is a wild animal out here.

And I am extremely impressed by her survival abilities.

We're not just surviving.

- We are... - Thriving.

Thank you, Iguana.

-Oh, my God. -Thank you, Iguana.

Mm-hmm.

One lizard would be great for one person,

but split between three people,

it's just a snack, you know, a drop in the bucket.

We need some substantial food.

I'm a bit of a hillbilly.

I grew up poor. I grew up hunting and fishing and trapping.

Not a necessity.

So I'm looking forward to getting in the bush out here

and scout for resources.

Got to keep looking.

One thing I am seeing here is a lot of doves

and other small birds everywhere.

My primitive trapping game is really good,

and I'm going to do my best to make one here.

Hopefully catch him in the right spot.

Oh, wait a minute.

Coconut.

Full of water, too.

There's another one.

Got water in that one.

There's nothing else I can make cups out of the actual coconuts in here.

Even if they're bad.

But if they're not,

we get some coconut meat,

some coconut water and a coconut cup.

That's a good day.

I got some coconuts.

Where'd you get coconuts at?

In a ravine over there.

Well, I don't know if it's good,

but I'm gonna find out real quick.

There you go.

Frank, like always, has another surprise up his sleeve.

He just goes and walks off

and then all of a sudden, he's like, "Hey, guess what?

I'm the Coconut fairy."

It's a really big win for us to find coconuts here.

Well, look at that.

Yep.

Thank you so much.

The coconut water is the best part of the whole coconut.

It is so delicious.

Cooling and you can just feel your body absorbing it when you drink it.

-Oh, no way. -Perfect.

And look at that meat.

It's straight out of the movies, man.

That's cool.

That's awesome.

That's so good.

The coconut is so good.

It's just instant energy and exactly what I needed.

Happy coconut dance.

People were happy. You could see it in their faces

once we opened that coconut and started eating.

I enjoyed seeing that.

I'm no longer like you ruffians.

I drink from a cup now.

Coconuts are great and all, but we still need protein.

So I think we should start making our adapoco.

-Or a trap. -Yeah.

Hopefully we can catch a dove or something.

-We will. -Yeah.

-I got a good feeling about it. -Yeah.

I've used this trap a lot in the past,

and it is very effective.

Hopefully I can teach Scott and Julia

and we can make three of these traps

because you can catch all kinds of stuff with this trap.

Quail, dove, pigeon.

That would be a huge win.

So I stripped the innards out of that cord.

And we're going to go ahead and secure

one to each end of each stick.

The adapoco is simple.

You take your two base sticks, tie a rope from each end

to where they shape an X

and you just start stacking sticks

and each a little shorter than the last

until it builds like a pyramid and then you cap it off.

Bam!

Nice.

So you think you got this and do your own now?

I think I've got the gist of it.

Uh, I think I can do it.

What about you, Jule?

I'm gonna make one.

All right.

I'm on my first few steps of the bird trap.

It's harder than I thought.

Frank makes everything look easy out here.

With the bird traps,

not only is it something to occupy ourselves,

but it is definitely going to benefit us

if all three of our traps catch something.

It just up our chances of having more food for us.

I'm almost done with the trap part.

The hard part is going to be the trigger.

Well, there you go. Okay.

-Do we have bait? -I got the bait right here.

Is that good enough?

Some coconut? Yeah. That should be fine.

I mean, this right here looks like a really good spot.

Animals like disturbed ground, especially birds.

So they're going to notice this.

Nice.

No matter what he's got to do to get to that,

-he's going to hit one of them two sticks. -Yeah.

And when he does, he's ours.

All right, so I've got my spot picked out.

I'm about to set up my very first an animal trap.

Okay.

There you go.

-Got it? -Yep.

Yeah, all right.

There's pros and cons to having three people out here.

Splitting the work between three people makes it a lot easier.

But definitely one of the cons is food

because dividing three ways,

obviously it's thirds instead of halves.

Good. Nice.

All right. Good job.

Thank you, Frank.

-Now let the games begin. -Yeah.

It's been a couple of days since the iguana,

and we're getting hungrier and hungrier.

So I'm really hoping we got some protein here.

All right, checking trap number one, my trap.

Nope.

It did not trip.

Checking Frank's trap.

Doesn't look like the bird trap was activated at all.

Coconut is still there.

Check Julia's trap, the third one of the day.

Nope. Nothing in it. Goddamn it.

You're just trying to catch something that doesn't want to be caught.

Got our hopes up.

And now we're getting a punch in the gut.

Guys, the traps still didn't work.

Oh.

I feel a little zapped in energy right now.

-The heat's not helping. -Yeah.

I don't know why the traps aren't working.

I don't know if it's because the doves just aren't used to the traps,

but it's definitely crucial that we get some protein in us soon.

I'm not stoked about the situation, Yeah.

But that's not going to deter me

from getting an energy source.

I'm seeing all these pools, and it has the minnows in it.

I think it's time to switch it up and try something new.

I'm so glad I brought that mosquito net.

So you just want to go ahead and I hold one

and you hold the other and we just scoop them.

I'm collecting the minnows with my mosquito net.

That's giving me an opportunity to actually contribute.

They're all hiding now.

Well, you're riding it real tight, real tight.

Where'd they all go?

They're all going that way.

-Ouch. -Oh, crap.

Let's see.

There's a few in the middle there, but they would get out.

Me and Scott are definitely struggling to get them in

as they're in all the nooks and crannies

that we can't really get to with the net.

Not even one, huh?

No.

Go, go, go! Pull it up!

We only got one minnow.

I'm a little concerned.

Not being able to get food and provide for my team

sort of just feels like I'm not doing my job.

I really wanted Frank, Julia and myself

to have more of a protein source,

so I'm starting to become a little discouraged

about myself and my contributions.

We need some protein.

I'm with you there.

I definitely am feeling it, my muscles are feeling it.

So if I'd like to propose to you guys.

We hit the trail and we see if we can find anything new

because we've been up and down this countless times.

I would really like to get up this side of this mountain.

We could come across a food source.

I mean, you know, when we go out here at night to go get wood,

it's just like we get back and we're just whooped.

So that's my only concern.

Like, energy.

You gotta hack your way through this jungle

with your machete.

You know, that's a lot of calories burning.

What happens if we run into bananas?

What happens if we run into something that's just mind blowing?

Yeah, but what happens if we're running to nothing?

Frank has caught coconuts.

Julia has caught an iguana.

I would really like to contribute

a large protein source to our team.

I get the whole survival is, like,

conserving your energy and all that.

But if we come across something that could really change

the game out here...

I'm down for a little hike up there.

I'm willing to do that.

We agreed to go with Scott up to the ridge,

just to see what we can find because we need food

and you know, in a way, he's right.

Who knows what's out there.

Let's do this. Game time, baby.

I have walked up and down our riverbed here

countless times, and on each side it's a mountain.

It's a jungle, it's thick foliage,

and I can't even tell how high the mountain is.

Hopefully, we're going to be able to find some resources.

Black Palm.

- Did it get ya? - Yep.

Oh,.

Scott, it's already looking bad buddy.

We'll clear it out. We'll be all right.

The bugs ain't getting you at all?

Oh, they're definitely getting me.

- They are? - Yeah.

Yeah, these bugs are horrible.

- It sucks. - Yeah, it's steep.

It just keeps going.

We're going straight up.

We are going straight up.

It's a lot steeper than we initially thought.

I think we've got a long ways to go.

But step by step, we make it.

Yeah, but to what?

We're not finding anything edible.

We're not seeing any food, any fruit, you know, no nuts.

I mean, just... just a lot of calories being burned.

I think we're at the point of no return.

It's too steep and too risky.

I want to be able to depend on Scott

to make the right decisions.

But from what I've seen so far,

I should have just followed my gut the whole time.

'Cause it's not fair to the team

to take these unnecessary risks.

It puts everybody in jeopardy.

All of us.

Yeah, I think this is where I'm gonna turn around.

I understand.

I'm with you.

I mean, even if you did find a bunch of bananas up there,

the chances of you getting a whole stack of bananas back are slim.

Going up this side of the mountain to find some food,

that's something that I can contribute to the team.

And I'm not going to change my mind.

I'm going to stick to my guns.

Are you sure you want to do this?

I do.

I think it's a very bad idea.

Good luck.

Thank you, Julia.

It's a tangle.

It's insane.

I can definitely see why Frank wanted to turn back.

I didn't think it was going to be a whole gosh darn mile straight up.

But I'd really like to contribute

as much as Frank and Julia have been on this challenge.

I'm beat now.

Just completely wore out.

I'm so itchy.

I hate that I have double the amount of bug bites.

Oh, wait a minute.

This right here lets me know that there's...

big freaking crawdads in this water.

So they are out here.

Just gotta find 'em.

There's food in these pools.

So Scott's exerting a lot of energy out there

for no reason.

One step and I could just be tumbling down.

Part of me is just being like, "Dude, head back down."

But I will sacrifice my own calories

to achieve a goal.

I've got my nose to the grindstone here.

I'm sweating and I am tired.

Hopefully, you know, it's gonna pay off.

Come on, man. You know what you're thinking right now.

I'm thinking, "You got this."

I'm pretty sure Scott's been gone

for at least four hours by now,

and that's definitely worrying me.

He had no water with him.

That's irresponsible and risky,

especially when you have this much longer to go.

We have a lot more days out here.

If he does continue to make decisions like this,

there's a good chance he might not make it to day 21.

I'm pretty sure Scott's been gone

for at least four hours by now.

I'm worried about Scott at this point.

Hey, you guys.

I'm glad you made it back safe.

I was kind of worried about you there.

You don't gotta worry about me.

But the only problem is

there was nothing I could bring back for you

other than me.

You got to be dying of thirst.

Come on, get some water.

I'm a little disappointed.

Julia and I decided to turn around when we did

because there are no resources up there.

And even if there were, it was way too far

to be packing them down the mountain.

All this is calories.

It's hard to replace out here.

You know, each one is expensive and costly to replace.

What you reckon, Scott?

-Huh? -I said, "What you reckon?" You look tired.

I feel tired.

- Yeah. - Welcome to the club.

I'm kicking myself now

for not following my gut instinct,

not going on the hike.

Now we're tired.

I mean, it's getting hard to smile

and be the bigger person

because Scott's little reckless adventure

kind of came back to bite us in the butt.

We're suffering from malnutrition

and I feel like I just wasted so much energy

that I could have spent on other things.

The plan for today is to try to get some crawdads

with like a fish trap.

Okay, this is just a standard, run of the mill fish basket.

And I'm splitting the palm frond stalks

that we thatched our shelter with for the ribs.

And it's gonna have two hoops,

one up here, one middle-ish,

just to kind of lock everything in.

And then I'm gonna bound the ends together,

and then we're gonna wrap this cordage,

just shore up the sides.

Crawdads, they're there.

It's just a question of where and how many.

Yeah.

That's why I'm building this fish trap.

Well, use up my cordage.

Use it all up.

Scott.

-What's up, bud? -You're up.

Am I weaving that in?

-Do you want to? -Yeah, let's do it.

There you go.

Frank is still teaching me a valuable survival technique.

Fish trap.

-So just start here, in and out, in and out, right? -Yup.

In and out, in and out, in and out.

I respect Frank for his knowledge.

I respect Frank for his ability to adapt

to the environment so fast.

Hold what you've got right there, Scott.

It's gotta be pretty tight, buddy.

You see what I'm saying?

Yeah, I see what you're saying.

I'm getting towards the end up here.

I hope this pays off.

I mean, we've put a lot of time and effort into it.

And now it's ready.

Let's just put it right over here.

-Right in there? Okay. -Yeah, right here.

Oh, another rainy night.

Yeah.

That came on hard and fast.

I guess this is what we get when we, uh,

set up shelter in a, uh...

in a riverbed,

right by a raging waterfall.

All right, water level is receding.

As you can see, it's already dropped back about a foot.

This is the edge of our shelter.

The water level was right here.

Now it's all the way back there.

We're not ready to evacuate yet though.

Last night was the hardest rain we've had

since we've been here.

Our water level rose quite a bit.

A good 10-11 inches at least.

All this...

used to be part of the river here last night.

Pretty crazy if you think about it.

The water's flowing pretty rapid.

So I'm definitely on edge right now.

There's debris up there.

That's obviously flood signs.

So maybe we should have an evacuation plan,

find an area to like-- I would like that.

That would make me a lot more comfortable with being here.

All right. So, obviously, high ground.

Yeah.

On day one, we had to set up shelter

because it was the only flat open area.

But we really are in a potential spot

to possibly lose everything.

So that's obviously out of the question.

Yeah, I ain't climbing that.

- Yeah. - -Well, do you guys want to go take a saunter

-and like maybe scout out an area for a bit? -Yeah.

- Yeah, I'm down. - All right, let's go.

Let's go do that.

We're in a flood zone.

I think it's best that we come up with a plan of attack,

just in case, uh, we really do need to get out of Dodge.

What do you think about that rock pile over there?

It's above the water line.

- Yeah. - It's not a bad idea.

- That actually looks perfect, to tell you the truth. - -I mean--

It's covered.

- High. - -And it's not far from the shelter.

And it'll keep us safe

until we can figure out where to go from there.

All right, so evacuation here.

We just grab everything we need.

The necessities.

Yep.

Hopefully, we don't have to use it,

-but... -We have it though.

There we go.

What ya doin'?

Checking the traps.

Ah, man!

This trap's ruined.

It's filled up with leaves.

Yeah.

There might be something in there.

Oh, wow.

The fish trap has been demolished

by the storm last night.

It smells horrible.

Dump it out.

I don't see anything in here.

I don't think we can even salvage this.

- Like, we might-- - No, that's crashed and...

it's done.

Day 14, guys.

We should be walking out of here

if we was on our last challenge.

Yep. Yeah. After today, we will all officially have...

stayed longer...

than we did.

Mmm-hmm.

And this is already harder than...

-Yeah. -...the 14.

Yeah.

Well, I'm just trying to figure out

how to... how to get some food out here.

I'm not here to starve.

Yeah. We'll keep getting it.

We're not done. We're not giving up.

I don't have any doubt we're gonna get more food.

Yeah, we're gonna get more food.

It's been nine days without food,

and losing our fish trap

means we have to start spending our physical energy,

instead of having a trap work for us.

I'm not one for a team to split up.

But it's time to search everywhere

for a major food source.

Are you okay with that?

Divide and conquer?

Yeah. Keep on keeping on here.

Okeydoke.

I'm looking for anything edible, snakes, lizards...

Something.

We need a break right now,

or this last week is gonna be hard.

I'm definitely feeling really fatigued at this point,

and we still have a whole week left.

It does kind of take a toll on you

when you're looking for food, when you're starving,

and you're just not having any success.

Nothing.

Climbing the mountain a few days ago,

I really wish I could have brought back resources.

But I bit off way more than I could chew.

So I'm taking a page out of Frank's book,

where it's, just, let's move slow.

Let's take our time to see what I can see.

Hopefully something pops out at me.

Oh, I see a snake.

Damn! He was quick.

No, he's gone.

Darn it.

I am really bummed not to get hands on this snake.

Uh, it would have been a pretty substantial meal for us.

That was a pretty good sized snake.

It looked to be about four foot long.

Well...

just keep looking.

I'll find something eventually.

I just can't give up.

This is hard.

This is probably the hardest thing

I've ever done in my life.

So the respect that I have for my mom,

knowing that she has completed it

and has just skyrocketed, and I won't let her down.

I'm not 100% certain, but...

I think this is a heart of palm, maybe.

Oh, that's all the way up there. Shoot!

All right, gonna start chopping this.

I'm gonna cut down the whole dang tree.

The fronds are too high.

I've seen in other challenges,

uh, people who have cut down these palm,

and they've been able to get access to the heart of palm.

Timber!

I've got my nose to the grindstone here.

I'm working and I'm sweating and I am tired.

But I got to get this material and, uh, hopefully,

I can provide my teammates with a feast.

I got something for you guys.

Nice!

- That's a good score. - Mmm-hmm.

I see Scott walking up with this big heart of palm,

and I'm like, "Oh, thank goodness."

That's so much food.

A little bit of work to get to,

but it's so good for you.

Good job, Scott.

Thanks, bud.

Looks a lot like artichoke.

It should taste a little bit like artichoke as well.

Scott's-- uh, he is buckling down.

He is trying.

Here you go. Try that.

This is a huge win for Scott and the team.

That's super-bitter.

So I'm just nervous how it affects my stomach.

because I know if I have too many acids in there,

it'll not be good for me.

The heart of palm is not good.

Is it good?

What the hell are we gonna do?

I don't know what to do.

Not.

- Well, we've made traps. - Yeah.

And we're pretty much out of those we can make.

The only problem is...

I can... I have a hard time sitting still.

Did you hear that...

crash?

You guys want to come check it out?

- Yeah. - Something big fell out of a tree.

Let's see.

We were interrupted by a loud thud.

Uh, it's the loudest thud I've heard

since we've been out here.

- Oh, an iguana. - There he is.

Oh.

- Oh, an iguana. - There he is!

Oh.

Do you see it?

He's right here.

Oh, no.

It hit right here.

That damn iguana, I can just taste it.

Where did he run up at?

Do you see that hole right there, Scott?

This hole right here?

-Yeah. -That's why I brought my stick.

I don't see him in here.

We light out after it,

and it just like disappears in this little cave.

I'm looking. I don't see anything.

I think there's more to these rocks than what we see.

There ain't no telling how many nooks and crannies are in there.

That iguana would have been a huge protein score,

especially this close to extraction.

It would have done wonders for us.

I need water.

Do you need water?

Okay, give me a cup.

I appreciate it.

I'm definitely feeling really fatigued at this point.

I'm mentally low, and to push through that,

even in your weakest moments,

it is really one of the toughest things you can do.

-Here you go. -Thank you.

You're welcome.

So we're trying to conserve energy,

just hang out in here pretty much.

Stay out of the sun.

Avoid the sun.

I'm hungry. I'm tired. We are literally starving.

What I'm thinking, I'm going to go check on the bird traps.

Yeah.

Frank and Julia,

they both seem like they're in a preservation mode.

And I'm not in that mode yet.

I'm here to help them out, no matter what.

Frank's trap is still there.

It hasn't tripped yet.

I don't have any great expectations,

but if one of them catches something,

it's a win for us all.

Bait's still there.

And Julia's trap is still there.

Nothing tripped it.

It's a little frustrating.

The traps aren't working.

My body is depleted

and I do not want to stay in this state.

Oh, my God.

I would really like to get up over these rocks.

This is solo.

This is me going out and finding a whole food source.

I could fall down a rock here.

I could literally slip in the water and hit my head.

Take her easy.

All I know is that

taking risks helps you succeed, in my opinion.

It does drive Frank nuts.

It might even just stress him out.

But I can't stop.

What's that? Are you kidding me?

Nuh-uh.

No way.

No way.

Are you serious right now?

These are eggs.

I have a whole nest of eggs.

I cannot believe my eyes right now.

I have just found the score of a lifetime.

And my lucky number, six, seven.

Oh, my gosh.

Hard boiled eggs today.

Oh, I am...

so exhausted that I can't hoop and holler

but inside I'm screaming like...

Like a kid at Christmas.

Just beyond belief, like, thank you.

Like, thank you so much for this.

Like, this is what we need.

This is what I need.

Thank God.

Hey, guys.

- Yeah? - What's up?

Found this new melon.

You wanna taste it?

No, you did not.

You found eggs?

Sitting in the bottom of a bush,

- right there. - Holy!

That's a lot of eggs.

- There's seven. - That's a lot of egg... Yeah!

I don't even have words right now.

I am just so happy to have this source of protein.

- Hard boiled eggs? - Yep.

Holy , dude!

Dude, take 'em before I ruin 'em.

That's awesome.

That's extraction energy right there.

No way.

Morale boosts, I don't know.

What kind of eggs those are?

I don't know, they're gonna be tummy eggs here pretty soon.

Oh, my God, that's the best thing I've seen

since I've been here.

Scott and I have had our ups and downs

throughout this challenge.

He just never stops.

He won't sit still, but he gets done.

He put in the work and effort

and, uh, to have a score of protein like that

at this point in the challenge is huge.

We needed that.

You know, I'm proud of him.

That's a huge score, dude.

Well, I'm happy I could finally score some protein for us.

I can't thank you enough.

Oh, it smells like a warm boiled egg.

- How is it? - Mm.

- Magic. - Magic?

- Holy! - Mmhmm.

Wow.

Like, creamy deliciousness.

- Holy crap. - And it's almost all yolk too.

I haven't had the best luck out here.

The heart of palm was a bust,

and, uh, the hike didn't yield anything.

But now here I am. I've got seven eggs.

This is a major boost to my survivalist self-esteem.

That was good.

I'm just gonna lay back and savor.

So, I mean, extraction's pretty close.

Do you guys wanna check out the map

and kind of try and plan on what we're gonna do?

- Yeah. - Yeah.

Yeah?

So, our camp's here.

Extraction is this whole way down here to the ocean.

And we're gonna be on the water.

Yeah. Okay. Do you think we're gonna have to, like,

float downriver at all, or...

I think we're gonna build a raft at some point.

What are we gonna pack out?

Bare necess... Bare essentials.

Tools, pot.

We'll get some cordage.

- Yeah. - Yeah, I think so.

I'd say so.

We create a backpack.

You know, maybe tie that around,

like, get some straps.

- Yeah. - Yeah.

All right.

Cordage is... It's like nature's duct tape.

I mean, you can use it for anything,

and it... If you can make it quickly,

that's even better.

So, here is my cordage.

Two bundles.

I think we've got enough for extraction,

but this is what I'm really going for.

My basket.

All it is is just weaving it in and out

and wrapping it around each... Each twig here,

and it's done.

- Round of applause. - Like it?

- Thank you. - Yep.

There we go. Done.

We still have one night left,

and we have our extraction tomorrow,

and I'm ready to go.

So let's get this moving.

And, of course, we're getting downpour.

Colombia's not letting us off the hook that easy.

You guys ready?

- Yeah. - All right.

Wish us luck.

Here we go.

There you go.

I don't know how much energy

we're going to have for extraction,

but once that sun comes up...

...I'll be ready to get the hell out of this place.

Real test.

Well, last night took a turn.

Yeah, it took a turn.

I can't believe we made it through the night.

Well, it happened last night -and not Night 7. -Yeah.

If there was any sign that Colombia wanted us gone,

that was it.

Last night, we had plans of just resting

and waking up early this morning to walk out of here.

But Mother Nature had another idea.

Thank you, fire.

I would say that was the most

- important fire we had, it seems like. - -Yeah.

No sleep for me last night,

sitting up tending the fire.

So going into this extraction day on no sleep

and no food is not ideal.

Just be careful... - Yeah. - ...on the mud.

All right, let's go see this.

Wow!

God damn!

- It's completely washed out. - Yeah.

All this was underwater.

Yep. I mean, you could see...

-Yeah. -...water level went way up

- past our shelter. - -It was flowing through here.

- Yeah. - -This was a whole river right here.

Yeah, it was knee-deep in here when we left.

That's crazy.

I'd definitely say Colombia is telling us to get out of here.

Let's start finding our way out of here.

Let's get our exit strategy.

What, are we here?

We've got to make it all the way there.

So are we thinking...

- I was-- - Following the river is just our best bet.

As long as it's safe enough.

'Cause water levels are high.

So we may have to build a raft

that we can just pick up and place in the water and go.

Let's see how it goes.

We'll take it slow.

-We'll tippy-toe through the area... -Yeah.

...and just look-before- we-leap sort of situation.

We have a brutal extraction coming up.

Our main concern is the water level rising.

I don't know if we're gonna end up

having to put the makeshift raft in the water

and Huck Finn it down the river.

This is extremely nerve wracking,

not knowing what we're gonna be walking into.

Let's do it.

Let's go.

To reach their extraction point,

the survivalists will trek one mile downriver

before descending a rocky gorge

with steep sheer cliffs.

Once they reach the valley below,

They will build a raft

and paddle 3 miles down the Rio Valencia River

until it meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Well, if I had to go through some stuff like that,

I can't think anybody else I'd rather go through it with.

We did a good job together, you guys.

- It's a fact. - We really did.

Last night was not the best,

but I just have so much adrenaline

and all I can see is the end.

These are super slippery over here.

It makes me a little nervous

going into this extraction.

It just rained.

And, uh, I'm sure the rocks are gonna be slippery.

And that could be dangerous.

Calm and careful, calm and careful.

But I'm looking forward to it in a major way,

'cause we're getting out of here.

You need this, Scott?

Nope. I'm good.

-Thank you. -Okay.

I'm trying to keep my nerves in check.

We have no water, hardly any sleep,

and we got a long hike ahead of us.

Am I a little bit, uh, on edge?

Yeah.

- Oh, my God! - It's a little steep.

It's insanity.

Oh, my God.

Ai yai yai.

I mean, that side over there looks pretty steep.

This side's kind of gradual.

And, uh, there's less drops here than there is there.

There's like a 10-foot drop right there, Scott.

Scott, I know you don't like heights.

- How you feeling? - No way, dude, That's so scary.

When I see that cliff and I look down,

my fear of heights definitely kicked in.

It's insane.

I just think right now with the energy levels

we're all running on, this isn't feasible.

It's one slip and we're done.

You guys are gonna see me fall down and myself.

It's next to near impossible.

Frank, do you know how to play chess?

-No. -No?

There's something I can finally teach you, huh?

Right.

Plan is beat Frank at chess and get some respect.

I take some charcoal and small twigs

to measure out each individual square.

And then I get different shaped rocks for the chess pieces

and we go from there.

I'm going to go first.

Here we go.

I'm gonna move two moves up.

Queens can move wherever they want?

-Diagonally, forward, back. -Right.

-Yeah. -Okay.

You've got to think where I want to go with.

Pretty much these two are your threats right now,

And this one can move...

That can go straight up and back.

So you can go ahead and take that piece, if you want.

I'm kind of liking this chess game.

It makes you think, and, uh, there's all kinds of ways

to be sneaky and crafty in it.

Oh, no. Check.

He's quite with it. He... He picks the game up

and next thing you know, his queen takes my king.

Uh, checkmate.

- You win. - I win.

Yep. You just beat me 'cause I wasn't paying attention.

Boom! Game over.

Dumb luck.

Yeah, dumb luck.

It's a good feeling

to have someone you taught beat you.

And I'm lying about the good feeling, but whatever.

Good job, Frank.

Right now, with the energy levels

we're all running on, it's one slip and we're done.

That side over there looks pretty steep.

This looks like our best way down right here.

- All right, well... - We'll follow you.

Just be careful.

We're going to base our pace off of Frank

and make sure that we all get there together as a team.

Am I a little bit, uh, on edge?

Yeah, but that's what drives me.

When these rocks get wet...

- Yeah. - ...that's when it gets sketchy.

The walk down this cliffside

is definitely treacherous and slippery.

You can make the wrong step at any moment,

and your feet will just slide out from under you.

Oh, my God.

How are we doing, Scott?

Oh, my God, are you kidding me?

Oh.

This is insane.

- How do we go... - We go down right here.

That's what I was thinking.

That's a long ways up there.

- True. - Yeah, it is.

I think the hard part's over.

Almost there.

It's all downhill from here, bubba, literally.

I'm glad that's behind us.

That is one giant rock.

Woo-hoo! River bottom.

Oh, my God.

I definitely don't like

how mirky the water is down here.

Say, it's getting deep.

This is probably the highest the river has been.

Do you guys wanna get going on a raft?

- I'm with it. - We should, uh,

- head up on the banks. - Head up the banks?

- See what's out there? -I'm down with that. Let's go.

Pretty tired.

I'm exhausted.

Holy cow.

But you see a bamboo over there?

We can make a raft.

We don't have a lot of energy. It's gonna be tough,

but I've got good teammates

and there's no doubt in my mind

they're gonna pull me through.

So right now, the plan

is to make one raft head down the river

all Huck Finn, Apocalypse Now style.

And I'm going to get as many of these

cut down to 6 ft as I can.

And we're just going to lash them together.

We've got some bind.

I'll get a couple cross braces in there.

- All right, so let's get to skewering these, -Okay.

- Got it? - Yep.

All right. Well, it's all tied up.

No coming back from there.

It wasn't easy. It took probably an hour.

Somehow we... We made it happen.

I think it'll keep our stuff dry.

The stuff we need to keep out of the water,

and I'm thinking it'll be a nice little flotation device

to help us get down this river.

- Ready? - Yeah.

There's obviously the thoughts in the back of my head

of what's in the water,

but honestly, just the adrenaline,

it almost just buries all those fears.

- Okay. - Set it down.

I can't wait to get on my phone and call my mom

and just tell her that I made it,

and just hear how proud she is.

I can't wait.

- All righty. - Okay.

Does it float?

- It is floating. - All right.

Looks like it so far.

- We're definitely not all sitting on that. - -Nope.

I'm confident that the raft will float.

I'm not sure it'll float with all of us on it,

but I know it'll float with Julia on it.

We're going to launch the SS Bamboo Dinghy right now.

Okay. Here we go.

To complete their extraction,

the survivalists must float three miles

down the Rio Valencia River

until it meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Along the way, they must avoid aggressive caiman

and lethal snakes, like the deadly fer-de-lance.

Nothing like some swamp water.

Yeah.

This extraction is not easy.

We're in this canal mirky water,

and you can't see what's down there.

So you're just kicking along, hoping that nothing moves.

Mm, something pleasant.

- It's definitely sandy and muddy here. - -Yeah.

I'm tired.

I'm exhausted.

I'm stepping on things I can't see in the water.

I think it's just an...

I'm swimming again.

I started out as a fan, did my 14 days

and I came in as a tested survivalist.

But having to swim after 21 days...

yeah, I'm... I'm hitting the wall.

Looks like you've got some swampy stuff. Oh, boy.

- We've got some snags and... - Oh, boy.

Oh! I'm swimming now.

I wonder how much far we got

- 'cause this is getting deep, man. - -Yeah.

Oh, man!

Yeah, right?

I definitely say I get my badass side from my mom.

I have a lot of respect and admiration for her

and following in her footsteps,

I... I just really hope she's proud.

Yeah, right?

I think it's opening up up here.

Oh, my goodness.

Oh, my goodness, I think I see beach.

- Don't say that. - I think I see beach.

- Don't tease me, man. - I think I see beach.

- I see beach. - Yep.

It's definitely beach.

- Oh, my gosh. - Push.

- Oh, my gosh, there's the beach! - -There's the beach!

Let's keep paddling.

-Let's go. -Oh, my God!

Let's go.

-Yeehaw, baby! Giddy up! -Let's go! Come on!

Finally we come around this bend, it's just...

It's what we've been waiting 21 days for,

and it's finally here.

- There it is. -Oh, man. Look at this.

Guys, we're almost there.

This is the finish line.

- Almost there. - Oh, my God, 21 days all up to this.

My God.

I could swim for a while.

Yep.

Oh!

Oh, my God.

- Come here. - Thank God that's over.

Over here.

Come on.

- That's a group hug right there. - That's awesome, guys.

I guess we're looking for a way out of here now.

Well, we've got to find our extraction vehicle somewhere.

Yeah.

Oh, my God.

I think I see something, you guys.

What?

Look, right down there.

Oh, my God!

Oh, yeah!

Whoo!

- Yeah! - Yes!

-I'm ready to get the hell out of here. -Yeah.

All right, let's ride it out.

-Let's go, guys. -Yeah. Let's get out.

Let's get going.

Whoo!

So I went from being a fan

to completing a fan challenge.

Now I'm in the big leagues

and I've just completed my first 21-day challenge.

I'm a part of something that

very few people can say they're a part of.

And I couldn't be prouder of myself than that.

Forty and 60 days, here I come.

Over the course of the 21 days,

Frank lost a total of 14 lbs.

His PSR rises from 6.0 to 7.2.

Whoo!

I'm out.

I had to look inside myself and remember

that even though teams have their hard...

Their hard times, we worked together.

And it's because we worked as a team

that we succeeded in this challenge so well.

Scott lost 31 lbs.

His PSR rises from 5.8 to 6.4.

Doing this challenge obviously stemmed from my mom doing it

and teaching me the way.

I cannot wait to tell my mom

that I've completed the 21-day challenge.

Julia lost 15 lbs.

Her final PSR are rises from 6.3 to 7.0 point.

Goodbye, Colombia!

Whoo-hoo-hoo!

Yeah, baby!

I just arrived here to beautiful Colombia

to surprise Julia on her 21-day extraction,

and I am so excited.

I did my 21 days in Colombia,

and I know how hard it was,

so I cannot wait to see the look on her face.

- Julia, get here! - No.

Oh, my God!

You did it! You did it!

-Mom. -I'm so proud of you.

So proud of you.

Come here.

I'm so proud of you.

I could cry right now. I was...

I was not expecting it at all.

-Did you have fun? -Oh, yeah.

Forty days... -We'll see. -I'm not...

I'm not gonna give you my title yet.

Don't be scared, Mommy.

You don't get... You don't get the title yet,

you have to do 40 days.

I love you.

Yes, you did it!

So proud of you.

So proud of you.
