- For their first exercise on selection,

the recruits will drop into a jungle river

from the air.

- In Special Forces, we use helicopters

to move in quick to a combat zone.

Your first test is the backwards dive.

when I was 17 years old.

I seen Tarzan, and that's what I thought it was gonna be like.

It was absolutely horrendous.

The noise is overwhelming, and everything wants to kill you.

All that will be running through the minds

of these recruits is, what the hell have I done?

- First to attempt the backwards dive

is recruit number 4--

- I know that I'm going to be out of my element

in almost every shape or form.

I'm not the most physically fit person.

I've always done all of my own stunts

so I could turn up as Ruby the action star.

But I had an accident in 2019 on the set of "Batwoman,"

and everything just sort of got bad from there.

There was no bouncing back.

There was no part of me left. It was just the shell.

- Yeah, four years of my life gone.

- All of the recruits have made it out of the heli.

has not survived unscathed.
