Nouveau will be discontinued.

[Previously]

Nouveau has been published for over 20 years,

how can you discontinue it?

I am the new publisher, Shen Si Yi.

Our Nouveau

will rely on us now.

They've agreed on resuming publication.

So, who are the candidates for the new editor?

I want Lu Ke to do it.

You're an editor now.

You have high standards and find faults with everything.

You don't like this and that.

Am I being sensitive

or have you changed?

Everyone can tell

that you and Cheng Nan are from two different worlds.

We are done here.

You're the editor of Nouveau now,

no one can hurt you.

I believe in you.

If you'd like to try it out one day,

I might be the most suitable candidate.

Feelings will change.

Why would I make a lifelong promise for something that changes?

Isn't it because your parents divorced when you were young?

We're just having fun.

We are not committed to each other.

This is what we said before,

you've broken the rules.

I think I'm a loser.

I don't have a job or a boyfriend.

One day, you'll meet someone

who's meant for you.

So, from now on, you're in charge of creating,

I'm in charge of you.

I, Guan Yue, will never be defeated!

Why are you blushing?

No, no.

Are you afraid that I'll find out...

[Dear Missy]

I ordered stir-fried eel,

tangerine peel chicken, steamed yellow fish with Chinese rice wine,

eight-treasure rice and glutinous rice balls in rice wine.

They're all your favourite.

Tell me, what is it?

I miss you.

You want to ask about Guan Yue, don't you?

Where are you now?

We're becoming buddies now.

-Great. -What should I do?

Just tell her directly.

Must I tell her?

You can also act right away.

No. You're misleading me.

I'd rather tell her.

Well,

you can take her out on a date.

Where to?

I don't know Guan Yue that well.

No, no.

Eat this.

You should have the biggest piece.

Ask Lu Ke.

[Dear Missy, Episode 13: "I'd Like to Be Your Girlfriend"]

[Radwimps Concert 2017 in Shanghai]

[1,800 yuan (Bleacher seats)]

[3,609.09 yuan]

[Payment details: Payment successful]

What brought you here?

Don't you have to work?

I do. I happened to pass by,

so I brought you something.

What is it?

[Radwimps Asia Live Tour 2017, Shanghai, South Entrance, Bleacher]

RAD?

How did you get their ticket?

My friend gave it to me,

but it was hard to get.

Will you go?

Yes.

Alright, let's go there together.

I didn't know that you like them.

I like them a lot.

Which song do you like?

Their...

That song, you know.

That song. It's...

Which song?

That song.

What song is this?

I can't sing, but I listen to it.

Thanks a lot.

No problem.

Bye-bye.

See you.

Let's play badminton together on Saturday.

There's a new court nearby.

It has a great environment.

You guys go ahead.

I got my period today.

I might not make it on Saturday.

Didn't you have a large iced Americano

with me this morning?

I'm just so busy lately that I lost track of the dates.

I'm still feeling unwell now.

-Give me your phone. -What for?

I'll download an application for you.

With this, it will remind you when the date is near.

Then you won't forget.

Really?

Done.

If this is the case, it'd be very convenient.

You haven't heard of it, have you?

Thanks.

Lu Ke,

we'll play badminton on Saturday. Come join us.

-Yeah, yeah. -I can't make it this Saturday.

I need to search for a new house.

Why can none of you make it?

Are you moving out?

Yeah, changing an environment is a good thing.

Then which housing area will you go?

The agent recommended Emei Apartment to me.

That one?

That is...

What?

In short, it's messed up.

Think twice.

The cheap ones are too far, yet I can't afford expensive ones.

Where are you guys staying?

I stay at home.

Man Li is a Shanghai local,

she won't understand our pain.

Speaking of which,

getting a nice house in Shanghai

is very challenging.

[Whole unit, Loha Space, 1-room, east] [Whole unit, Yufocheng, 2-room, east]

How did your house hunting go?

It's really tough.

Great.

If you get a studio apartment,

we can't live there.

Who said I want to be your room-mate?

I just said it.

Come on, come on.

-Where are we going? -House hunting.

Hold on, my purse.

-Where? -Let's go.

And the houses in our community

are quite narrow.

But it's definitely enough for the two of you.

It has everything, including air conditioning and washing machine.

It's right ahead of us.

Look outside.

With that view, taking a bath here,

that would be amazing.

Is it nice?

Not bad.

I'll go look outside.

Look.

Let's take this.

Such a prime location must be very expensive.

Let's check out others.

Lu Ke.

How about this? It's nice.

-This price is acceptable. -That's too expensive.

How about this?

[Whole unit, Hebin Weicheng, 3-room and 2-hall, south]

This is nice.

-Seriously, this is nice. Listen to me. -No.

Ladies, the house we're looking at now

is located at the premium location of the community.

It does not only have great accessibility,

it's also quiet in a lively neighbourhood.

It's a house with full sunlight.

It's only a five-minute walk to the subway.

[Sanmen Road, Lane 510]

This one.

[Zhengtong Road, Lane 7]

-This one, this one. -This is too remote.

I don't want it.

-Keep searching. -I'll keep searching.

Lu Ke.

Lu Ke.

Is this nice? Or is this better?

Did you ask me out in such a hurry

to choose a hairstyle for you?

You have good taste,

just give me an opinion.

Then, tell me,

are you attending an event

or going out on a date with a guy?

I just want to get a new style,

that's all.

Then I have no comment.

I'll go home and search for houses after this.

No!

I'm going to a concert with my friend.

You're going to Radwimps' concert with Ye Zhou, aren't you?

You told him about the band!

Aren't you supposed to thank me?

Look how happy you are.

It's Yao.

Answer it.

-Hi. -Yao, where have you been?

You didn't contact us for so many days.

[Don't worry. I'm in an old town in Zhejiang.]

Check this out.

Where are you?

[I am working on a homestay project.]

[I'm calling you]

[because I need to ask Guan Xiao Yue a favour.]

[Help me out.]

[I have to submit the proposal to investors on Thursday.]

[Shanghai to Huzhou]

[Radwimps Asia Live Tour 2017, Shanghai, South Entrance, Bleacher]

[People's Bank of China, 1 yuan]

This one.

[6,998 yuan]

-Try these out. -Si Yi.

They're way too expensive. Let's go somewhere else.

This is my gift to you

for taking your first step in life.

Thanks, Si Yi.

Excuse me.

Hello.

It's almost time to leave.

[Well, I'll pick you up in half an hour.]

So early.

We can get a good spot if we go earlier.

We can buy their album first after we get there.

[Well...]

What's the matter? Why are you stuttering?

I might not be able to make it.

[I'm sorry.]

[Yao Yuan needs to come up with a home design proposal,]

[he wants me to help out.]

I'll go there this afternoon.

[I wanted to leave two days later,]

but his project is urgent,

[so...]

How about this?

[After I come back, I'll buy you tickets.]

It's fine.

Speaking of which, our department has organised a game today.

Actually, I do feel like joining them.

I'm sorry.

What time does the concert start tonight?

Eight.

It's still early.

You still can catch her.

She made her decision. Forget it.

There's always a possibility

when it is not the end yet.

Would you believe in this kind of inspirational quote?

Even if she doesn't come back and go to the concert with you,

you can still see her.

What do you mean?

What you need is a chance to tell her your feelings.

What does it have to do with the concert?

Go ahead.

It will be too late once she gets into the train.

Guan Yue!

What are you doing here?

There's something I need to tell you.

Don't you have a game?

The game was a lie.

And I bought the concert tickets myself.

Guan Yue, do you still not get it?

My sister could tell,

Lu Ke could tell,

the whole world could tell,

even our police dog could tell.

I like you.

Could you please stay?

I...

You...

But I've promised Yao Yuan.

All of a sudden...

I know, but...

[Liu Suo]

Hold on a second.

Hello, sir. Now I... Yes, I...

Alright, later I will...

I got to go first.

-Let's talk after I get back. Wait for me. -Guan Yue! Guan...

[Guan Yue: I'm off. Let's talk when I'm back.]

[When are you coming back?]

[I'm not sure.]

I said, follow the old designs.

Who told you to change it?

-I thought... -If the testing department

rejects it due to a flaw,

our whole team's KPI will be ruined.

I just think that the function

of the previous arrangement is low,

so I improved it.

If something happens, will you pay us?

That's not my intention.

Can we run a test first?

Stop talking already. Just change it back!

Go get a change!

Don't drink too much. You still have to work in the afternoon.

Zheng joined the company later than me.

By right, he should call me his senior, right?

If you hadn't left, would he have become the team leader?

Why don't you quit as well?

I'm not like you,

you have thousands of stars on GitHub,

you'll be hired no matter where you go.

Cut it out.

How did your job hunting go?

Well,

I quit hunting.

I've made up my mind. I'll start my own business.

Starting a business?

What about the money?

Just the startup capital will cost a fortune.

I'll use my savings.

If it's not enough, I'll figure something out.

Aren't you saving it for a house?

I won't even get married.

Why should I rush into buying a house?

I should just invest in myself.

This is not like you.

We can't plan too much in life.

Just do whatever we want.

How is it?

Are you interested?

What are you doing?

Since I'm leaving already,

I should call Zheng.

Hello, is this Zheng?

Who am I?

I'm your father!

-Drink up. -Alright.

We have a 24-hour hot water supply.

Satisfaction guaranteed, buddy.

Miss, miss, check out our...

Anybody here?

Anybody here?

You...

Don't give up.

I think you still have hope.

Can you stop being blindly optimistic, Si Yi?

I bet they've met each other now.

So what?

Even if they're dating,

you still have a chance.

Is this how you comfort others?

Do you think everyone is as self-possessed as you?

Fine, you're better, you should do it.

I'll get more beers.

Why are you looking at me like this?

Waiting for you to comfort me.

Do you remember that when you were young,

your sister and I were going camping and watching meteors.

You were dying to join us.

But you had promised your friends

you'd play basketball the next day,

so you stayed

and practised shooting all night.

I do.

I remember that I lost the next day.

Look.

It's the same for Guan Yue.

She is keeping her words.

Perhaps she went to meet with Yao Yuan

just to help him out.

Just give her some time.

Her heart will tell her the answer.

Here, have some breakfast.

Did you stay up all night?

I was sleepy,

but an idea came up.

I was afraid I'd forget it when I wake up,

so I've been making amendments till now.

Don't work so hard.

Health is more important.

I just want to finish it so I can go back to Shanghai soon.

You can't wait to return to Shanghai.

I bet someone is waiting for you.

No.

I made a few options.

Choose one and I'll amend it for you.

Since when Guan Yue

has become so reliable?

I came to your rescue.

Have I ever let you down?

So tell me, how will you repay me?

How about this?

After the opening of my homestay,

you will be the first guest.

Just make me a membership card.

One day, when I quit,

I will come here.

So that Ye Zhou won't keep nagging me.

Are you doing fine recently?

Do I not look fine?

I mean,

you know what I mean.

Look at this place.

There are neither wine nor bars here.

Once in a while, I'd play music for the uncles

or go fishing with them,

and wait for my homestay to develop.

It never occurred to me,

but now I think

this kind of life isn't that bad.

I think it's mainly because Shen Si Yi is not here.

Just send it if you want.

Aren't you sending a message to Ye Zhou?

No, I'm not.

These two days,

you've been going on and on about Ye Zhou,

I've lost count.

Because it was he who said those things.

I also told you what Lu Ke said,

I also told others what you said.

The whole world knows it, but you're denying it.

Fine, fine. I admit it.

Actually, when you broke up,

I thought I'd be happy.

But then it occurred to me,

he has become the source

of my happiness before I knew it.

Well, I'm relieved.

Actually, I don't get it.

He's totally different from you,

besides, he's also younger than me.

I never thought of our possibilities.

Not everything will develop according to our expectation.

Just like me. I never thought

that I'd be so committed to a girl

and stay here for so long.

If everything were predictable,

that'd be boring.

We'll check it out tomorrow.

These are too expensive.

I quit. It's wearing me out.

Just take the first house.

The first one. Let me count.

Each of us has to pay 12,000 yuan per month

in addition to water, electricity, gas bills and cleaning service.

It will be at least 13,000 yuan.

You know how much I make every month.

What about the house we just visited earlier?

It's not that expensive.

No.

It's located in Minhang District.

You have a car, but I don't. That's really inconvenient.

What about mine?

We'll move to a bigger house.

Your house is a serviced apartment,

it doesn't feel like home at all.

So what should we do, Missy?

Why don't we forget about it?

But it's really hard for us to live together.

You want a big bathtub, yet I want a spacious kitchen.

With these two,

we won't be able to find a cheap house.

It's fine.

I can pay for you.

No, no.

Why not?

Just listen to me. Stay there and relax.

No way. I'll feel awful.

So, shall we look again tomorrow?

We'll see.

I can't do this anymore.

Back in the university,

there was no electricity in the dorm when we were burning the midnight oil.

So we stayed up all night in the engine room.

Then we slept for half an hour and went straight to class.

But we were perfectly fine.

Now I can't do this anymore.

I only stayed up for one night and I'm half dead.

It's not that bad.

Learn from me.

Add some wolfberries as a supplement.

Do you think we'll make it

by doing this?

I have no idea.

But we have to give it a try anyway.

You never know if you never try.

You're right.

Once the funding is approved,

the first thing I buy will be a customized bed.

I will write code in bed every day.

How about you?

Oh, no. I have a meeting with an investor.

Watch my code for me.

You should have some breakfast first.

And also...

Wait for my good news.

Forget it, forget it.

I'll go with you.

Mr Zhu,

it was a last-minute work,

so it still needs some tweaking.

It's quite interesting.

What would be your ideal price?

So are we done here?

Judging by Mr Zhu's reaction, our chances are good.

But we need to follow up a few more times.

I was terrified.

Did you see how he was frowning?

I'm drenched in cold sweat as well.

Let's get a drink at the Sugar Bar.

Forget it. Let's go back and sleep.

We stayed up all night.

No.

I could use a glass of cold beer to calm myself down.

Fine,

but we need to go somewhere else.

Why? Can't you meet up after a breakup?

If we meet up,

it'll be awkward for Lu Ke, too.

Why bother?

We've been friends for so many years,

we can't stop hanging out

just because of both of you.

Wait for a while first.

Why did you bring me here?

You'll find out later.

What?

-Put this on first. -What's this?

I have a surprise for you.

Why are you putting this on me?

Don't look.

Shen Si Yi, you're an adult,

don't be so childish.

Come.

-Here we go. -What exactly are you doing,

-Okay, follow me. -Shen Si Yi?

There.

Turn right.

-We're taking the stairs. -Where are we?

Where is this place?

Step forward.

Step, one.

Go on, be brave.

Step forward again.

Take the stairs.

We're getting there soon.

Here.

Okay.

Here we go.

Step back.

Go forward. Step forward.

Shen Si Yi, what are you doing?

Easy. We'll talk inside.

There is a small bend.

Where are you taking me?

Don't worry.

Are you ready?

Here we go.

Do you like it?

Did you find this?

The bedroom is huge.

Yeah.

I like the kitchen.

I love an open kitchen like this.

Next time, you'll cook here

and I'll eat here.

Who wants to cook for you?

I'll take a look inside.

This is the bathroom.

How about this?

Shen Si Yi,

how much is the rent?

Take a guess.

It's such a nice place, I'm sure it's not cheap.

It's 15,000 yuan.

The big bedroom is 8,000 yuan, the small one is 7,000 yuan.

You choose first.

You're kidding, right?

No.

I made a post on the internet,

and the owner happened to be going overseas.

So we went out for a meal,

and really clicked.

That lady also liked Nouveau,

so she rented it to me at a lower rate.

What a great coincidence.

By the way, this house is ten minutes away from the subway,

walking. Well, of course,

I can drive you to work as well.

So how is it?

Have you figured it out?

Will you be my roommate?

Nice to meet you, roommate.

Nice to meet you.

Slow down, mister.

Okay.

-Thank you, sir. -You're welcome.

Over there.

Thank you, thank you.

How about this?

It's not nice.

This couch.

Let's have a seat.

A little higher on the left.

Like this?

A little... That's about it.

-Like this? -Okay, good.

Good, good.

Come.

You... You're eating it again.

-It's good, it's good. -Is it good?

I want another one.

This is nice, this is nice.

This is good.

Be careful on your way back.

Don't be taken by a dog.

Enough is enough.

Have you booked a high-speed rail ticket?

[Trip.com]

[Trip.com]

What are in these bags?

Food.

But they're not for you.

They're for Ye Zhou, aren't they?

I didn't bring these for him only.

Alright, I'm leaving.

Hang in there. I look forward to the homestay opening.

Go on.

-Bye. -Take care.

[I'll reach Hongqiao Station at 4 p.m. Come pick me up.]

[Ye Zhou]

-Hello. -Hello.

Is Ye Zhou here?

Looking for Xiao Ye?

Is he doing well?

Unfortunately, no.

He's in the hospital.

He got into a car accident when he was on a mission.

What?

Which hospital is he in?

[Outpatient Operating Room]

312.

312.

Hi, where is room 312?

At the end of the corridor.

Alright, alright.

Ye Zhou.

Ye Zhou.

Ye Zhou.

Can you hear me?

I am Guan Yue.

I'm back.

Don't worry.

Don't worry, Ye Zhou.

You'll get better.

You'll certainly get better.

There are so many things that I haven't told you yet.

I didn't have much time at the train station the other day.

I knew a long time ago that you liked me.

In fact, deep down, I already have an answer.

I'd like to be your girlfriend.

As long as you get better, I swear I'll never be headstrong.

I'll listen to everything you say.

Really?

Stop staring at him,

come out.

Go to hell!

I didn't say that was me.

Is anything wrong with the bone?

Nothing. It won't kill me.

Can you move?

Don't touch it. It's painful.

This is such a big deal, why didn't you call me?

I really thought you wouldn't come back.

I told you I was helping him out.

Such a petty man.

Since you cried your heart out, I won't get mad at you.

Don't laugh at me.

Why, I'm happy that you cried so hard.

Happy, are you?

You look fine.

In that case, I'll be off.

Where are you going?

You seem fine.

Missy,

your boyfriend was 0.1 seconds away from being knocked into the air,

you should be concerned about him.

Who is your girlfriend?

You are my girlfriend.

Stop moving.

It's painful.

[In the next episode]

Do you really not know or are you acting?

He's a stranger.

You've got some nerve.

He's more handsome than you.

Why don't you go on a date with me?

What's going on between you and Zhang Mang?

We just happened to bump into each other.

And then?

We even went on a date. Why do you still care?

Stop talking nonsense, will you?
