on separate 11-kilometer routes,

unique set of challenges

that will test their endurance
and navigational abilities.

And then we're gonna have to go from there

through the initial challenge

of the forest,

Delta continues on their path to the west.

So we're following this all the way up.

The initial part
of Delta's journey is straightforward,

taking them west along the creek
to their first landmark, a beaver dam.

But the terrain has hidden challenges.

Swampy.

The terrain we got into right at first,
you know, the mud is just like snot.

You step on it,
your feet are going everywhere.

I almost rolled my ankle.

Could've snared 'em right there.

There's tall grass so you gotta high-step
when you're in the grass.

And the grass is slick too.

There hasn't been an easy step
from the time we took off of that boat.

This is for the team. We gotta dig deep.

still in search of their first landmark.

but we're moving fast.

Both of us are telling each other there's
no way they're moving as fast as we are.

we haven't gone that far.

follow the river to the finish line.

terrain we have to and find the river.
