[Mysterious Lotus Casebook]

[Episode 30]

I thought about it.

Since I'm already on the blade list,

there's no point in hiding.

So,

you're here to turn yourself in?

I don't seem to have any other option.

Why don't we continue to work together as a team?

Work together?

We agreed that we'd let each other know when we find clues.

Why did you go alone?

What were you up to?

Cut it out.

Or I'll change my mind.

Fine.

This is it?

Why didn't you send me to prison?

You're so delicate, Young Master Li.

How can I mistreat you?

There must be something behind this weird situation.

You want to be sent to prison,

but I'd rather have you kept in this woodshed.

Have you figured out who the doctor's accomplice is after interrogation?

How about

let me see him?

Maybe I can pry some clues out of him.

No need.

Detectives will handle the case.

You're here to turn yourself in.

So just be a prisoner as you should.

Young Master Li.

Would you like some tea?

No, thanks.

I can do it myself.

Fang Xiaobao.

What's wrong with you?

How can you let Young Master Li stay in the woodshed?

Invite him to the superior guest room now.

Mother.

He's turning himself in.

I only did things as he wishes.

What nonsense are you talking about?

You're getting more and more ridiculous.

Young Master Li.

Ignore him.

-This way, please./N-Mother.

Don't worry.

I won't do anything to him.

I just want to

ask him something face to face.

Don't worry, Master He.

As friends, we have to solve the problem between us.

You've really grown up.

You've grown out of my control.

Still, Fang Xiaobao.

I'm telling you.

The martial world is dangerous.

It's not easy to make a real friend.

There's no need to make it so serious.

Ask me what you want to know.

I just want to ask you three questions.

First.

Why didn't you burn the smoke that day,

and went after Lian Quan alone instead?

Second.

Why did you come to turn yourself in today?

Third.

Why did you suddenly show yourself

after having endured for ten years?

Don't speak.

I don't want to hear your explanation now.

Come find me

when you come to your senses

and would like to tell me the truth.

Keep an eye on him.

Let me know if anything happens.

Yes.

Young Master.

Li Lianhua asked me to tell you

that he's injured.

What kind of injury?

I don't know.

Anyway, he said

he was injured accidentally,

and he can't lift his hands,

so he needs to be taken care of.

Tell that old fox

to stop playing tricks.

Yes.

Could it be internal injury?

What is this?

It was burned by a candle just now.

Is this what you meant by "being accidentally injured",

"can't lift my hands",

and "need to be taken care of"?

It really hurts.

You get mad so easily.

Fang Duobing.

I'm hungry.

Get me some food first.

Didn't you say your chef is pretty good?

Let me see.

My chef doesn't cook for prisoners.

Then get me a quilt.

This room is cold at night.

The cold toxin inside my body may take effect anytime.

It's hard to bear.

What you have is a heart disease, right?

What cold toxin?

Sect Leader Li, your Yangzhouman is invincible.

Stop playing this kind of trick.

Anyone?

Give me a pot of warm wine.

Give me a pot of warm wine.

Young Master.

Where does he hurt this time?

Li Lianhua doesn't seem to be pretending this time.

He seems to be truly ill.

How are you?

Li.

Go get some blankets.

Yes.

Come on.

Careful, it's hot.

Drink slowly.

Li Lianhua, you're awake.

What is it about the cold toxin inside your body?

Why couldn't Yangzhouman suppress it?

Slowly.

Yangzhouman consumes too much inner power.

I have the warm wine

and the quilt you sent me.

Come to think of it,

you'd be okay anyway, right?

Fang Duobing.

What trick are you trying to play this time?

About the three questions you asked.

The first one is easy to answer.

I'll answer that one first.

I didn't burn the smoke that day

because I knew how powerful Bizhong Strike is.

You're fast.

If you met Lian Quan first,

you'd have been taken advantage of.

What about the other two questions?

I'll let you know

the answers to them later.

Let me tell you a story.

The story of

a pair of fellow apprentices who only have each other.

This pair of fellow apprentices have been street beggars since their childhood.

They were lucky to meet Master,

and they started learning martial arts.

Time flies.

In the blink of an eye,

the junior turned 15.

He was on his first trip down the mountain with his senior

when he encountered the massacre of the He family of the Changma Blade Sect.

[He's Residence] when he encountered the massacre of the He family of the Changma Blade Sect.

when he encountered the massacre of the He family of the Changma Blade Sect.

The He family took the low road to make their fortune.

-It's been years since they retreated from the martial world./N-Father!

There hadn't been many people giving them trouble.

Father!

Father!

-But not long ago.../N-Wake up, Father!

There were rumors that there was a piece of cloud iron in their household

which had spread throughout the martial world.

Many people coveted it.

When that pair of fellow apprentices arrived at He's Residence,

only the father and the son of the He family were still alive.

The father knew he was seriously injured and he couldn't make it,

so he kneeled down and begged the fellow apprentices

to escort the only offspring of the He family

to his ancestral home for refuge.

[Luoyang]

When they arrived in Luoyang, [Luoyang]

When they arrived in Luoyang,

the senior asked the junior to buy some specialties,

saying he'd send the offspring to the He family by himself.

Of course the junior didn't think much about it.

But soon,

word came that the child was killed by the enemy.

Three years later,

the senior gave the junior

an extraordinarily sharp soft sword as a birthday gift.

It had been too long,

so the junior had long forgotten about the cloud iron incident.

So that soft sword

became the sword the junior carried around.

Are you trying to say that my father misappropriated the cloud iron?

Are you trying to say that

my father is a villain who stole things and took advantage of others?

I don't know,

neither do I want to know.

It's up to you

whether you believe it or not.

Young Master, bad news!

Lian Quan is missing.

No need to look for him.

I let him go.

How could you...

Li Lianhua.

No need.

I've let Li Lianhua go as well.

How could you...

Why couldn't I?

Li Lianhua saved my life.

You're ungrateful,

but I'm a grateful person.

Alright.

Don't be mad.

Li Lianhua said

he has his own plan.

I helped him steal the key to release him,

and he'll figure out the truth for you in return.

He asked me to give this to you.

Jian Lingxiao's tracking bee?

The doctor isn't Lian Quan.

Lian Quan is dead.

Niutou Mamian is still alive.

He said

he'll give you

the answers to the other two questions tomorrow.

The poison has been detoxicated.

As expected from you, Li Xiangyi.

As expected from Yangzhouman.

Good.

Very good.

Sect Leader Li, you're useless

after this.

Wait.

So you two

want to kick down the ladder.

Sect Leader Li.

You're a man of honor,

but Netherworld Estate has always believed in evil ways.

You don't really think

we'll give you the Rama Heavenly Ice obediently, do you?

Too much power was consumed for detoxification just now.

He can't even stand straight now.

It's a good chance to kill him.

You are not eager to look for the Heavenly Ice,

and you want to kill me first?

Aren't you putting the cart before the horse?

What are you talking about?

If I guess it right,

you should have hidden the Heavenly Ice

under the chessboard in the monk room.

When I was checking the authenticity that day,

I accidentally added a little pollen

to the Heavenly Ice.

And I happen to have a bee that can track pollen.

Half a day ago,

the tracking bee

circled around your monk room.

That's why

I brought you here for detoxification.

The Heavenly Ice

must have been taken away by now.

Then I'll torture you to be half-dead

and trade you for the Heavenly Ice.

I'm not the half-dead one.

Look at your brother.

Brother!

Slowly.

It's Bicha Poison.

[Hanshui Temple]

One more?

Sit tight.

Go.

You were still locked in the woodshed

of Baishui Garden yesterday,

and now you're back in Lotus Tower?

You know that?

I was worried about you,

so I asked around.

Little girl.

Thank you for your concern, Miss Su.

You fed the dog for me,

yet you still had time to ask around about my well-being?

Not only about your well-being.

I also heard that

you owe Young Master Fang

answers to two questions.

What is it?

What answers?

So juvenile.

Anyway,

we should pack up.

We should lose no time in looking for the next piece of Heavenly Ice.

We're leaving now?

We haven't got rid of Niutou Mamian yet.

Besides, is it okay

to leave it to Fang Duobing?

As for those two,

only one of them is able to move now.

Of course Fang Duobing can handle it.

Besides,

Baishui Garden is surrounded by traps.

Li Xiao can't get in even if he wants to.

Let's go.

What's wrong?

Let me help you lie down.

I'm okay.

Maybe I'm tired.

What's that sound?

It's an explosion.

It seems to be from the west of the city.

From the direction of Baishui Garden.

How many times has it been?

Why did it catch on fire again?

Why was there another explosion?

Could it be because of the mine?

Did someone go down the mine again?

I don't know.

I knew something bad would happen because of the mine.

You're awake.

It shouldn't be that easy to get Rama Heavenly Ice, right?

Since you've got the Heavenly Ice,

why did you have to abduct me here?

To lure Sect Leader Li here, of course.

He should be here soon.

You are right.

I'm here.

You've gone through so much trouble

to lure me here.

Sect Leader Li, you are scheming.

You detoxicated Bizhong Strike for my brother,

but then you poisoned him

with the deadliest poison in the world, Bicha Poison.

Hand over the antidote.

You said yourself that Bicha Poison

is the deadliest poison in the world.

How could I have the antidote?

Others may not have it,

but I believe you do, Sect Leader Li.

You must have heard of who I, Li Xiangyi, am.

I advise you to release him as soon as possible.

Otherwise,

you'll die a miserable death.

Don't move.

I know you have superior martial skills.

If it wasn't for Mr. Fang,

I wouldn't have dared to offend you.

I will detonate the ore

and die together with you if I have to.

You think you can threaten Li Xiangyi by kidnapping me?

Li Xiangyi is cold-hearted.

He's only here just for Rama Heavenly Ice,

not me.

Don't try to take this chance to snatch the Heavenly Ice.

Get lost!

Get lost!

I didn't expect that

you made a new friend during your ten years' of silence, Sect Leader Li.

He'd even ruin your reputation to keep you safe.

Li Xiangyi is just arrogant.

He's not cold-blooded at all.

Back then, Shan Gudao searched for descendants of Nanyin.

On the surface, it was to protect the Central Plains,

but it was actually to shake the martial world.

There have been rumors about this secret for a long time in the martial world.

But no one dared to tell him

because everyone knows

he would never believe it.

I think he's still in the dark.

Li Xiangyi.

I'll ask you one last time.

Where is the antidote to Bicha Poison?

I do have no antidote

to Bicha Poison.

I didn't mean to poison your brother either.

But after thinking about it,

I do have a way.

Maybe we can give it a try.

Say it.

There's a Hualong Crystal

in my Wenjing sword.

It may be able to detoxicate the poison in your brother's body.

Take three steps back.

Li Xiangyi.

You are poisoned by Bicha Poison.

I knew it.

So when you were curing my brother,

you transported the poison into his body.

Bicha Poison?

There's no need to be nervous.

I've been poisoned for a long time.

Look.

I'm still okay.

It's not as serious as he said.

Sect Leader Li.

You can't even cure your own poison.

It seems that there really is no antidote to Bicha Poison.

But my brother has been anemic

after being poisoned for one day.

However, you've survived for so long,

and you are still active.

I think

Yangzhouman is the best solution to suppressing this poison.

As long as you give this solution to me,

I'll spare both of you.

Even if I teach you the mental codes of it,

it'll be hard for you to learn.

Because you don't deserve to learn it.

My patience is running out!

Give it to me!

Yang is born of wood, while Yin is born of gold.

Yin and Yang reincarnate, and the rivers turn upside down.

Speak it out, or hide it in heart.

Speak your heart, and five viscera invigorate of archeus.

One is missing for archeus, and one becomes three.

Brother!

At this point,

just surrender.

Those who bully us have to die.

He's reversing Bizhong Strike

and filling his whole body with Bicha Poison.

Fang Xiaobao.

Step back and hide.

Be careful.

Okay.

Are you okay?

Yes.

But this place will collapse soon.

We have to leave now.

Take the Heavenly Ice.

Be careful.

Let's go.

[Xiaoyuan City]

[Mysterious Lotus Casebook]

Are you okay?

Come on.

Be careful.

Young Master Fang.

You've been through a lot.

I was in a sweat for you just now.

Are you done?

You can hand over the Rama Heavenly Ice now.

Look how icy your eyes are.

It really makes my heart flutter.

Unfortunately, it's not half as attractive as My Lord.

You're injured, Li Xiangyi.

Get the Rama Heavenly Ice back for me.

Don't you want the Heavenly Ice?

Here you are.

Rama Heavenly Ice.

This guy is crazy.

Who dares to hurt Li Lianhua?

Come if you're not afraid to die.

How impressive.

Young Master Fang.

Give it time, and you'll become a master one day.

What a pity.

You're on your own today.

Let's see how long you can hold on.

Attack!

Who said my son is on his own?

Xiaobao!

Tianji Hall has always stayed out of the affairs of the martial world.

Do you want to break the rules today, Master He?

Li Lianhua is badly injured.

Not interfering in the martial world affairs

doesn't mean we're afraid of it.

You are bullying my son.

Do you think I, He Xiaohui, is someone you can mess with?

Listen to my order, Tianji Hall.

Capture these devils.

You and whose army?

You witch.

Surrender now!

It's the Saintess.

Baichuan Court is here.

We've got the Rama Heavenly Ice.

It's unfavorable for us to keep fighting.

Retreat!

Wait.

Although

Netherworld Mansion's Rama Heavenly Ice was stolen,

luckily, Li Lianhua is still alive.

I'll take him back for interrogation.

I must take him with me.

No one can touch him.

If you really want to take Li Lianhua away today,

don't blame me for being rude.

Fang Duobing.

You work for Baichuan Court.

I'm ordering you to leave Li Lianhua here

as Court Master.

I must take Li Lianhua with me.

Sigu Sect is different now.

I don't care if I have to quit my job as detective.

[Baichuan Court]

Could it be...

Bicha?

[Xiaoyuan City Inn]

Li Lianhua.

Li Lianhua.

You're awake.

How do you feel?

Do you feel painful or cold?

Medicine.

Medicine.

Medicine...

Is it in Lotus Tower?

Wait here.

I'll go get it now.

Don't move.

What a mess.

At this point, you're still trying to fool me?

Lie down.

Look at me.

You must be scared.

Don't you know

how you look?

Lie down.

You feel cold, right?

Here.

Here's some warm wine.

Why are you vomiting blood?

The Bicha Poison was triggered.

Li Lianhua.

Are you okay, Li Lianhua?

Mother!

Xiaobao.

How is Li Lianhua?

The poison was triggered.

He was so lively before.

Why did he suddenly become like this?

I don't have time to explain.

I want to borrow your Cloud-chasing Carriage

and take him to see Guan Hemeng.

There's no time to lose.

Go now.

Xiaobao.

You must save Physician Li.

Signs shows that

there's no evidence of Li Lianhua colluding with Jinyuan Alliance.

He didn't think of that, either.

That secret letter has a great intention of slandering.

It's untrustworthy.

You think so too?

Jiao Liqiao besieged and attacked

Li Lianhua with the masters from Jinyuan Alliance,

and injured him badly.

He almost lost his life.

We saw it with our own eyes.

He's injured?

Guan!

Guan! Help!

Guan! Help!

Hurry, save Li Lianhua!

He's in a coma!

He...

You entered without my permission.

How impressive.

I can't save him.

Only you can save him now.

I'll do whatever you want.

I won't break my promise.

Get him in here first.

Yong.

Go prepare the Three-archeus-in-one Soup

so that I can give him a herbal bath.

Guan.

How is it?

A word, please.

He's dying.

There must be ways to save him.

His body is overly consumed.

He's injured in the origin.

Even if it's repaired and mended,

he can barely survive.

His Qi and blood can't last longer.

[Excellent Medical Skills Work Magic]

But when I did his check-up last time, [Excellent Medical Skills Work Magic]

[Excellent Medical Skills Work Magic]

he still had four months to live. [Excellent Medical Skills Work Magic]

[Excellent Medical Skills Work Magic]

In just a few days,

he lost half of his life

to ruin my reputation.

Has he been poisoned?

It's Bicha Poison.

Once Bicha Poison gets deep into the blood,

it will destroy all the internal organs. It's incurable,

and he'll definitely die.

It's just fighting poison with poison.

If you want to sober him up a bit more,

you can take a risk.

If he lacks inner power,

I suggest

you use it after he takes the medicine.

Although the tiger palm is highly poisonous,

it can postpone the madness.

Fighting poison with poison?

That's right.

He used Yangzhouman to suppress Bicha Poison.

He shouldn't have used his inner power again and again.

What happens if he uses his inner power forcibly?

The more he uses his inner power,

the deeper the poison will get in the internal organs

and endanger his life.

The day the fuel of his inner power runs out

is what it is now.

Even if I try my best to keep him alive,

he can only hold on for a month at most.

You've always wanted to get rid of me

because you didn't want me to know who you are.

So the Master in White was also you.

You hid it from me for so long.

I didn't know anything,

and l was still worried about your safety.

Fang Xiaobao.

I didn't mean to hide it from you.

I thought he pretended to have no martial skills

just to hide his identity.

He used Yangzhouman to save people more than once.

I didn't know it was at the cost of his life.

He used to teach me Yangzhouman.

He saved me and others with Yangzhouman.

Can I save him too?

How long have you been learning Yangzhouman?

Several months.

You can use Yangzhouman

to slowly guide his inner power to rotate

so that he doesn't have to be drowsy

or lie in bed every day.

However, without at least ten years of

refining Yangzhouman's intensive inner power,

it's impossible to detoxicate and save people

like him.

He only has one month to live.

He can't wait for you for ten years.

I don't believe it.

There is always a way out.

No one believed that he could come back alive,

but he made it.

We still have some time.

Even if I have to search all over the world,

I must find a way to save him.

Go to Yunyin Mountain and find Granny Qin.

Maybe she can save him.

Isn't that where

Li Xiangyi's master, Qi Mushan, finished his apprenticeship?

So Granny Qin is...

Don't you know that Qi Mushan's wife is Granny Qin?

She still lives in Yunju Pavilion on Yunyin Mountain.

But that is a hidden place.

You've got what I want, right?

[Chapter 17, Detailed Map of 188 Prisons]

After Four-faced Qingzun died,

the place his wife Liangyi Fairy was imprisoned

has changed again and again.

I searched for a long time

until I found out that

she's now imprisoned in the Dragon King Temple of the 188 Prisons.

Do you think

she has the fourth piece of Rama Heavenly Ice?

So that's where it is.

You just need to know

our great plan will succeed very soon.

Thanks to you,

who asked the Jinyuan Alliance to destroy so many dungeons.

Don't worry.

I will avenge

the punishment and humiliation Baichuan Court gave you.

There's something I want to know.

On Xiao Qiao's wedding,

you sneaked in Sigu Sect and poisoned Qiao Wanmian.

Who did you want to test?

Since you asked me that,

you must have known the answer.

Of course I wanted

to test Yangzhouman.

Li Xiangyi is not dead.

He is...

Li Lianhua.

It's really him.

Look at your face.

So what if it is him?

After Li Xiangyi became Li Lianhua,

he's lost most of his power.

But there's one thing you should worry about.

He will come to you

to settle the score for poisoning him with Bicha Poison.

So you might as well take action first and kill him secretly

to prevent future troubles.

Saintess.

Help me!

My Lord.

Why are you...

Someone delivered a letter from Zongzheng Mingzhu.

This pair of loving jade butterflies came with it.

Don't you know

my feelings for you, My Lord?

If I betray you, I will die a horrible death.

It's his wishful thinking.

His wishful thinking?

It is said that you have been in contact with him for years.

If it’s not for him,

are you trying to collude with the Wansheng Clan behind?

My Lord, what are you talking about?

My Lord.

When you were recuperating in seclusion,

I investigated the War of the East Sea.

Only then did I know that Wansheng Clan may have added fuel to the fire.

I wanted to find out the truth,

so I approached him deliberately and pretended to cooperate.

Really?

So what did you find?

Have you seen

the real master of Wansheng Clan?

So Lord hasn't recalled those things.

My Lord.

That man is very secretive.

I only contacted with Feng Qing.

I don't know anything else.

But give me some time.

I'll definitely find the person behind it

and present him to you.

You should at least know

why they want the Rama Vessel.

It belongs to Nanyin.

You are a descendant of Nanyin's royal family.

Jiao Liqiao.

What else are you hiding from me?

My Lord.

I'm not hiding anything from you.

I'll tell you everything

about the Rama Vessel.

The Rama Vessel contains the larvae of Nanyin's Karmic Bugs.

The mother bugs can be found through the larvae,

and they'll give birth to more Karmic Bugs.

So Wansheng Clan wants to manipulate

those who've been poisoned by Karmic Bugs

and make them follow whatever order they give.

How do they manipulate them?

I have been away from my hometown for too long.

How can I know the method?

Only professional bug-control sorcerers know it.

What's in it for you then?

You can see

how loyal I am to you, My Lord.

I want nothing

but to help you achieve great cause

by the power of those people.

In that case,

give it to me.

What?

The Heavenly Ice that opens the Rama Vessel.

You are so impatient, My Lord.

I only have one piece.

Besides, I've been pretending to collude with Zongzheng Minghzu

for so long.

It's because I want to use him

to collect all the pieces of Heavenly Ice

and open the Rama Vessel

for you to ride around, My Lord.

By then,

everything will be under your Jinyuan Alliance's control, My Lord.

Wouldn't that be great?

Give it to me.

My Lord.

Give it to me.

Do as usual.

Tell your Zongzheng Mingzhu to find

Rama Vessel and the rest of Heavenly Ice as soon as possible.

Mother! Mother!

Run!

Run...

Are you okay?

I'm okay.

This is my place.

I'll beat you again next time.

Go.

Get out.

Leave now.

[Yunyin Mountain]

Granny Qin!

Setting up the mist formation to block me again.

I just went down the mountain for a drink.

Do you have to be so angry?
