[Mysterious Lotus Casebook]

[Episode 28]

It's been six days.

I can't wait any longer.

You're up.

Li Lianhua, you're really something.

You're so weak, you might as well be made of paper.

You just caught the flu.

But you were bedridden for so many days,

took so many of Brother Guan's ginseng pills,

and still didn't recover.

When you were sick,

your eyes weren't working very well too.

Li Lianhua.

Why don't you

stop looking for Lian Quan?

We can go back to my brother's place

and get him to treat you properly.

I am a physician myself.

If I go to your sworn brother,

won't I be admitting that I'm a bad physician?

I've gotten much better these days.

Next,

I think I should go out for a walk.

It might be a good idea.

Don't worry.

But the Lian Quan you mentioned

has disappeared from Shishou Village.

Where should we find him?

Xiaoyong.

I need your help.

Get me a map of the emerald mines.

Emerald...

Why do you need that?

Lian Quan practiced the Netherworld Holy Passage.

The most powerful move is Bizhong Strike.

This move requires regular detoxing

to avoid harming the user.

I heard

he once bought

a massive screen wall made of emeralds.

With this screen wall,

he could detox and cool down.

When he left back then,

the emerald screen wall in his house

was shattered by his enemies.

I think, in order to stay alive,

he must be living near an emerald mine.

I see.

I'll go look for the map now.

Take care of your health.

Be careful.

Abbot.

Mr. Fang

waited outside your room for three days and nights.

Are you really not going to see him?

I can't give him the answer he wants.

Just tell him I'm out.

Master.

I thought monks don't lie.

Mr. Fang.

I have important work to do.

I need to recite the scriptures now.

Master.

I know who Li Lianhua is.

You know?

Then why are you stopping me?

I just want to know

why he concealed his identity and refused to come back.

Also,

did my father, Shan Gudao's death,

have anything to do with him?

For your first question,

I know the answer, but I can't tell you.

For your second question,

I don't know the answer, and I cannot comment on it.

Why not?

Are you hiding something on purpose?

Okay.

Let me ask you one more question.

Is his martial arts really gone?

Or is he hiding his strength on purpose?

Even if he was hurt in his duel with Di Feisheng,

a master like him

couldn't have lost all his vigor.

What is he doing?

Mr. Fang,

have you thought about it?

Sometimes the simplest answer

is the most correct answer.

The tree wants to be still, but the wind wouldn't stop.

I don't understand.

Please enlighten me.

That's all I could say.

As for the rest, I've explained already.

I can't help you.

You have to find the truth yourself.

However,

I have a question for you.

Do you feel conflicted

because he is Li Xiangyi,

or because he is Li Lianhua?

If you have a storm in your heart,

you will lose the wisdom of a drop of water.

It's better to look back

at the wisdom in that single drop of water.

All these years,

he has always been alone.

You are the only friend

I've ever seen him with.

Friend?

I've known him for so long.

You knew about it.

Di Feisheng knew about it.

But I didn't know.

What kind of friend am I?

The weather is bad.

I'm afraid a storm is coming.

Master.

Fang Duobing.

I finally found you.

There's another wanted man on the Blade List.

The four Court Masters asked you to go back quickly.

Who is it?

Li Lianhua.

What?

[Baichuan Court]

Master Ji,

why is Li Lianhua on the Blade List?

The Sigu Sect received a secret letter stating that

Li Lianhua has joined the Jinyuan Alliance.

Sect Leader Xiao specially asked the Baichuan Court

to investigate this matter thoroughly.

This is absolutely impossible.

How can a secret letter that came out of nowhere

be enough to convict him?

Li Lianhua and I traveled together for months.

I can testify for

the kind of person he is.

There's a hidden flower hanging on the Blade List.

All the righteous sects in the martial world can arrest him.

Li Lianhua is not skilled in martial arts.

If he gets hurt,

-then... -Do you know the identity of

the masked man called Fei

who traveled with Li Lianhua?

Someone saw his face.

He is Di Feisheng.

You and Li Lianhua were inseparable.

You and Fei

had appeared together too.

Didn't you notice anything

strange about him?

I...

Duobing is new to the martial world.

How could he possibly recognize

Di Feisheng when he hadn't appeared

in the past ten years?

Mu Rongyao hasn't left Great Xi yet.

Shishui went to find him.

We'll know the truth soon.

I met Fei before.

But I've never seen his face.

Have you seen his weapon?

He carried a long knife on his back.

But he never unsheathed it.

He was very arrogant.

He said ordinary people are not worthy of his blade.

I remember now.

He unsheathed it once.

I remember it was a horizontal knife.

The blade was sharp on both sides.

There were golden hoops on it.

Every time he unsheathed his knife,

it unleashed a metallic whistling sound.

The first famous master that Di Feisheng killed

was the monk of the Blood Realm, Kuang Jiezi.

He removed the Golden Jade hoops

from his staff

and hung them on his knife as a trophy.

It seems that

he is indeed Di Feisheng.

I didn't expect Li Lianhua

to collude with Di Feisheng.

No matter what,

good and evil are irreconcilable.

If he is colluding with

the director of an evil sect,

then we didn't wrong him.

Wait.

Even if he's really with Di Feisheng,

it doesn't necessarily mean he's part of the Jinyuan Alliance now.

Maybe he's making use of Di Feisheng's authority

to investigate the Rama Heavenly Ices.

What's that?

We found an ancient vessel

while investigating Jin Mantang's case.

Hidden inside was the King of all Poison,

the searing karmic fire.

Searing karmic fire.

I didn't expect that

the searing karmic fire might resurface again.

This is such a serious matter.

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

In my opinion,

the searing karmic fire has been gone for a hundred years.

It's hard to tell if it's the real deal or not.

We have to get it back and find out.

Where is the Rama Heavenly Ice now?

It's with Li Lianhua?

With him?

You trust him so much,

but he's always so guarded against you.

He has no martial arts skills.

Could he have been better than you

at keeping it safe?

He's certainly skilled at manipulating people.

You're just

a greenhorn in the martial world,

and he played you like a fiddle.

After that,

you're still willing to speak up for him.

I'm not trusting him.

I'm trusting my instinct.

He might really be hiding something,

but he's not an evil person.

Was he ever frank to you?

We looked into it.

His name and origin are all fabricated.

If he were really just a

defenseless wandering physician of the martial world,

why was he somehow always

involved in the conflicts of the martial world?

You thought you were leading the investigations.

In actual fact,

think about who was actually in charge

between the two of you.

What kind of person is Di Feisheng?

He's selfish, prideful,

and cold-blooded.

But he's willing to disguise himself

and follow Li Lianhua.

I really can't figure out

who in the martial world can make Di Feisheng

follow him so obediently,

let alone this person's objective.

Li Lianhua is unfathomable.

Maybe

he is hiding an even bigger secret.

We must find out

who Li Lianhua is.

This is also your duty as a detective.

You know him best.

You must know his future moves

better than anyone else.

You're in charge of this case.

Bring him to justice as soon as possible.

Don't worry.

The Baichuan Court

will never wrong a good person.

If Li Lianhua is really innocent,

he can explain everything after we have captured him.

Then, we'll surely clear his name.

You also hope

to solve his mystery as soon as possible, don't you?

Besides being stingy,

always making things up,

and holding a bunch of secrets,

you are considered a good person.

You are also my first friend

in the martial world.

I don't want you to be in danger.

Find out all the information about the Lord of the Netherworld.

Yes.

All traces of Lian Quan

were from ten years ago.

In the past ten years, this person has disappeared

without any movement.

Where should we find him?

Lian Quan disappeared without a trace.

But his henchmen

couldn't have done the same.

If I look for them one by one,

I'll surely find something.

Niutou Mamian.

Congenital malformation.

Conjoined twins.

These two are so special.

It must be hard to hide their traces even if they disguise themselves.

Dig up all the records about the

Lord of the Netherworld's henchmen, Niutou Mamian.

Yes.

Escaped to Lizhou Xiaoyuan City.

Li Lianhua.

I found it.

Look.

Most of the emeralds in the nation came from Persia.

There aren't many mines,

but there are five of them.

But they are so far apart from each other.

Are we going to check them one by one?

Lian Quan wants to avoid enemies.

Big mines attract too much attention.

It's impossible for Lian Quan to go there.

If we rule out these two places,

the remaining three small mines...

Xiaoyong.

What does this mark mean?

There's a hot spring here.

Hot spring?

Here, one can hide behind the mountains

and recover in the hot spring.

If I were to choose,

this would be the best place.

Let's go to Lizhou Xiaoyuan City then.

[Lizhou Xiaoyuan City]

Close your doors and windows. Watch out for fire. [Lizhou Xiaoyuan City]

Close your doors and windows. Watch out for fire.

Close your doors and windows. Watch out for fire.

[Zhang Mansion] Close your doors and windows. Watch out for fire.

[Zhang Mansion]

Suhua?

Mother.

Come in. Close the door.

Why are you back?

Didn't I tell you not to come back

because it's dangerous here?

Uncle and his family are going out for business.

I don't know when we will come back.

I rushed here to visit you and Dad before we go.

No one saw me.

The King of Hell is getting married.

He knows. The King of Hell knows!

[Blade List]

Look. [Blade List]

[Blade List]

Didn't you help Fang Duobing with investigations?

Why are you on the Blade List?

I need to ask Fang Duobing about this.

It's too late.

Since the Blade List wants to arrest me,

I don't think I can stay in my Lotus Tower anymore.

Xiaoyong.

We have to split up

and go different ways.

Don't be so surprised.

Take my Lotus Tower and the Fox Spirit.

We'll meet outside Xiaoyuan City.

Okay.

If they find me

residing in Lotus Tower instead,

they likely won't make things difficult for me.

Be careful.

You too.

This is the knockout powder I made.

It might just save you.

Okay, let's go.

Watch out for your life.

[Lizhou Xiaoyuan City]

What a coincidence.

You also found Xiaoyuan City?

What a small world.

You sure are a brave one.

How dare you walk through the city gate like that?

Mr. Li. You must know

about the Blade List.

The name on the Blade List is indeed Li Lianhua.

This means

you didn't tell them who I am.

Why?

I didn't expose you

because

I didn't want to hurt someone who is already down.

I don't have any collusion

with Di Feisheng.

You should know that.

I don't.

I've been with you for so long.

But even your name is fake.

When did I ever know you?

Fang Duobing.

I do owe you an explanation.

But I can't go back to Sigu Sect with you now.

I need to first find Lian Quan

and get the Rama Heavenly Ice

to find the real murderer

and uncover the truth.

I'm really running out of time.

Why don't we

find out the truth together?

What do you think?

You're a fugitive.

I'm a detective.

Why should we join hands?

Go back to Baichuan Court with me

and explain yourself instead.

Calm down.

How about this?

Let's make a bet.

If you can find Lian Quan first,

I'll definitely go back to Baichuan Court with you.

I won't lie to you this time.

You have no right to bargain with me.

If you don't go back with me,

don't blame me for being rude to you.

A disciple hitting his master?

That is outrageous.

Master?

Do you think you deserve that title?

Brat.

That's a hell of a hit.

Li Lianhua.

Stop pretending.

What's going on?

I think I broke a rib.

Come and take a look.

Hurry up.

How are you?

Luckily, Su Xiaoyong gave me a pack of knockout powder.

Otherwise, I would have been caught by him.

I didn’t expect Fang Duobing to be here too.

This is getting troublesome.

I best make things quick.

Sure.

Kids.

I want to ask you something.

Do you know if

there is someone called Lian Quan

in Xiaoyuan City?

Is there a place called Netherworld Mansion here?

The Zhao family is performing a ritual.

Let's crash the banquet.

Let's go.

Go.

Let's go.

Hurry.

Madam.

Are you okay?

I think I sprained my ankle.

It's nothing serious.

This mister handled it well.

Don't bother me with

such trivial matters next time.

[Steamed Bun Shop]

I'm sorry, [Steamed Bun Shop]

[Steamed Bun Shop]

Physician Xue. [Steamed Bun Shop]

[Steamed Bun Shop]

Thank you for coming. [Steamed Bun Shop]

[Steamed Bun Shop]

Madam.

This is a small plaster I made.

You can use it if you don't mind.

It's very effective.

Thank you, physician.

Okay.

Have a seat.

Thank you.

Physician.

I'm glad to meet you.

In Xiaoyuan City,

we only have one reliable physician.

He's very busy.

It's usually hard to make an appointment with him.

Physician.

H-have a meat bun.

M-made by me, W-wang B-ba Shi.

[Wang Bashi] M-made by me, W-wang B-ba Shi.

M-made by me, W-wang B-ba Shi.

They are very well-known.

Wang Ba... As in, the turtle?

No, it's Wang Bashi.

When he was born,

his father made 80 copper coins.

So he gave him this name.

Physician,

what's your name?

I err...

I see.

You're Physician Er.

How much is the consultation fee? I'll go fetch it.

Madam,

you don't need to pay for this.

I want to ask you about someone.

Is it convenient?

Well, Physician Er,

you have come to the right person.

I used to be a matchmaker.

I live here.

I know all the families and their ancestors here.

How about this?

Have you heard of

someone named Lian Quan?

What about the Netherworld Mansion?

I don't know about that.

Madam.

Didn't you just say

you are familiar with all the families and ancestors here?

How could you forget everything all of a sudden?

[Xiaoyuan City Government]

Don't forget what happened two days ago. [Xiaoyuan City Government]

[Xiaoyuan City Government]

Have you seen someone... [Xiaoyuan City Government]

[Xiaoyuan City Government]

No.

It's two people.

They share one pair of legs,

but they have two bodies.

People call them Niutou Mamian.

No.

I might know

what you're referring to.

Six years ago,

when the city mine was still functional,

outsiders frequented the city

for mining work.

One of them

had a weird appearance.

He had a

massive hump on his back.

We all thought he was a hunchback.

But one time he went to the brothel

and took off his clothes.

That was when we found another person on his back.

That must be the conjoined monster you mentioned.

After that,

our emerald mine was barren,

and no one saw them again.

Since then,

many strange things started happening here.

You're a detective from Baichuan Court.

Can you help us take a look?

What strange thing?

I heard that when the mine exploded,

half of the mine was blown up.

Strangely,

every 10 to 15 days,

strange sounds would come from the cave,

yelling that the King of Hell was getting married.

Then,

a family in the city will find

a box of money at their doorstep.

Then, a girl would disappear.

Closed down?

When did the emerald mine close down?

It's been five years.

Physician Er.

Let me tell you.

We used to disallow mining.

I heard from my ancestors that there is a God residing in the mountain.

Outsiders came here

to buy those green stones at a high price.

Many people heard the news

and came to mine for the rocks.

They left holes all over the mountain.

Five years ago,

a big fire

burnt a rich stone buyer's house to ashes.

I believe his surname was Yan.

Half of the mountain was blown up too.

Since then,

no one dares to open the mine anymore.

[Xiaoyuan City Government]

Although everyone in the city said that the King of Hell did it, [Xiaoyuan City Government]

[Xiaoyuan City Government]

my master saw it once when he was alive. [Xiaoyuan City Government]

my master saw it once when he was alive.

The King of Hell had a shadow.

You mean,

someone is pretending to be the King of Hell?

You must have investigated a lot of

strange cases with Baichuan Court.

Can you help us with the investigation of

the King of Hell's marriage case?

Don't worry.

I will definitely

get to the bottom of this.

Really? Thank you.

Fang Xiaobao.

Mother?

Why are you here?

I'm a detective from Baichuan Court.

Naturally, I have work to do.

Why are you here?

I... I also have work to do.

Work?

The King of Hell blamed us

for taking his underground treasure.

So he came to punish us.

That box of money

is a betrothal gift from the King of Hell.

But it's strange.

Since the King of Hell got married,

there has never been any mountain fire again.

According to Abbot Liaoyuan of the Hanshan temple,

the girls who are married to the King of Hell

have blessed Xiaoyuan City and kept it safe.

Nowadays, girls dare not live here.

When they are of age,

they marry out of the city.

Those who are slightly richer have moved away too.

H-he's not the King of Hell.

H-he's a bad guy.

Don't talk nonsense.

Bashi,

was the girl from that family

also taken by the King of Hell a few days ago?

I-I don't believe it.

Suhua c-came back to visit her family.

She was caught by the bad guys.

Bashi and Suhua

grew up together.

If it weren't for that,

she would have married Bashi.

What a pity.

Despite moving out of the city, she couldn't escape it.

I... I'll go delivery the buns.

What did the constables say?

They conducted investigations,

but couldn't find anything.

No matter where the girls hide,

they'll always be taken away.

What else could it be if not the King of Hell?

The Zhang family once took part in mining too.

The retribution

was taken out on their child.

[Xiaoyuan City]

[Mysterious Lotus Casebook]

[Zhang Mansion]

M-master.

[Liaoyuan] M-master.

[Liaoyuan]

Please light m-more lanterns for Suhua. [Liaoyuan]

Please light m-more lanterns for Suhua.

Amitabha.

Master.

Hold on.

I have

two questions I wish to ask you.

May I?

Amitabha.

Master,

you're not a local, are you?

Things have changed.

I've been here for more than ten years.

Traveling must be inconvenient for you.

Why did you choose

to come to a small city in the mountains?

My legs were broken because of the fire.

Now that the King of Hell has appeared,

the people are suffering.

If I can send the dead to a blissful afterlife,

my inconvenience is nothing.

You're truly benevolent.

Master.

I

want to meet the King of Hell.

Could you

point me the way to the Netherworld?

Everyone has to go there when they die.

Why are you in a hurry?

[The Crane Brings Logevity]

To buy a house?

It takes more than ten days to get here from our house via carriage.

Why did you come here to buy a house?

This is called growing money with money.

See?

I told you

to take over our business soon.

But you didn't listen.

His Majesty is wise and just.

The country is prosperous and the citizens are at peace.

The people live and work in peace.

It's the perfect time to buy land.

The Tianji Hall

seized every opportunity to invest.

That's why we have today's success.

That's why you

get to lead a carefree life.

While your father returned to the capital to report his duty,

Li and I

took the chance to buy 36 villas and a thousand yard of land

along the way.

Aren't you just afraid that he'll stop you from buying things?

I'm not afraid of him.

Son,

you don't know.

This place is known for its hot springs.

The back of this mansion faces the mountains.

It's quiet and cool.

It's perfect for hot spring baths.

I plan to

build 18 hot spring baths here

and compete with the beauty baths of Nanshan.

It will surely be famous in the southwest.

The only problem is that

there was a fire in that backyard.

It burnt quite badly.

I need to get someone to repair it.

Fire?

Doesn't that make this a haunted mansion?

Why did you buy it?

Haunted mansions are cheap.

How rich do you think we are?

Our riches came from

our savings.

It doesn't matter.

I've asked the local abbot

to perform an exorcism.

Do you know?

This mansion would normally sell for 5,000 taels.

Do you know how much I paid for it?

50 taels!

What do you think? Your mother has good taste, right?

Praise me. Praise me.

The beautiful and capable Lady He Xiaohui

is truly smart, observant,

and decisive.

Alright.

Good luck with your hot spring baths.

I'll be off to do work.

Goodbye.

Where are you going?

I have serious work to do.

Even if you have serious work to do,

you still need to eat.

I met him on the way.

I invited him here too.

Him?

Who?

Oh, just in time.

You sure are brave.

How dare you come here?

Do you really think I dare not arrest you?

I'm looking for Master He.

This has nothing to do with you.

Let go.

Xiaobao, what are you doing?

Isn't he your friend?

Mother.

He's not my friend now.

He's a wanted man on the Baichuan Court's Blade List.

I'll take him with me.

Xiaobao.

What happened?

Explain it to me.

Mother.

I'm here to arrest him.

Arrest him?

What crime did he commit?

Rape, abduction,

murder, or robbery?

I can't explain it to you.

Don't interfere.

Let me tell you.

Li Lianhua is my guest.

We were like old friends at first sight.

If anyone dares to harm my guest in my territory,

they'll be going against me.

You are no exception.

Mother.

Your aunt admires him too.

You know your aunt is getting old.

she has never admired someone before.

Right?

Mr. Li, right?

Your sister is indeed my friend.

We are...

Shut up.

Don't use my aunt as a shield.

Come with me.

Fang Xiaobao.

How dare you.

You won't even obey me now?

I never taught you

to treat a guest like this.

Let go of him.

Mother.

Be careful of my punishment.

I'm sorry.

Don't mind him.

Please come in, Physician Li.

Watch the steps.

Physician Li.

Master He.

Just call me Mr. Li.

Okay.

Might as well call him Swindler Li.

Please come in.

Mr. Li.

Please have a seat.

I didn’t expect you to be so young, Master He.

Really?

Boot licker.

I didn’t expect that the

smart and resourceful Mr. Li my son always mentioned

is such a handsome man.

Xiaobao often told me about

his case solving adventures with you.

He said you are good at making decisions,

and he learned a lot from you.

You're too kind, Master He.

Your son helped me a lot too.

The young fox is no match for the old fox.

The older, the wiser.

Wasn't it you who couldn't stop

praising Li Lianhua?

You said that you found a bosom friend in life,

and it was worth your trip to the martial world.

You said you only wished to travel with him again.

Didn't you say that?

I didn't see his true colours back then.

You don't use your eyes to make friends.

You use your heart.

When I saw Li Lianhua,

I had a feeling we would get along.

I believe he's not an evil person.

What happened between you two?

Let's make it clear here today.

If you like our wine, drink more.

When you go to the prison of Baichuan Court,

you can't drink such good wine anymore.

Don't listen to him.

Drink more.

-Drink more. -Mother.

Fang Xiaobao,

I was reluctant to let you go

when you insisted on roaming the martial world.

I was afraid that your bad habits

and lack of experience

would land you in big trouble.

But you met Li Lianhua.

Not only did he not lead you astray,

he protected you in many ways.

Just for that, I'll accept it.

In life,

everyone has secrets they don't want to tell.

If you leave room for others,

you're leaving room for yourself.

Just like how you hid the fact that

Shan Gudao was my father?

You...

You brat.

How dare you bring that up again?

-You've gotten too arrogant. -It hurts.

-Is that it? -It hurts.

Do you think your father was a good man?

I have my reasons for not telling you.

I hate the people

from Baichuan Academy and Sigu Sect the most.

All the grudges in the martial world

were caused by those people

who claimed to be from righteous sects.

They wanted to set rules for the martial world.

But in the end,

it was all for the rulemakers

to gain more power.

The martial world is what it is.

The rules of the martial world is the world itself.

There are 420 volumes of law in this dynasty.

There are more than 3,000 books worth of rules.

But out of those rules,

none of them can restrain the people of the martial world.

So,

I admire willful and free-spirited

wanderers like Mr. Li.

He doesn't participate in any sect conflicts,

unlike Fang Xiaobao's past subject of admiration,

Li Xiangyi.

I think the so-called hero

is a man who hunts for fame.

I don't know what's so good about him.

Mother.

Mr. Li,

you don't know.

Xiaobao

tried very hard to be Li Xiangyi's disciple.

Such a big bitter pill,

he would swallow it by force.

In order to stand up,

he pierced his 12 major acupoints every day.

It was so painful,

he fainted many times.

But he refused to cry.

All that, just for what Li said.

He said, if Xiaobao could hold a sword,

he would take him as his disciple.

Isn't this kid silly?

Mother, can you stop talking?

Madam,

the doctor sent the medicine.

Okay.

Just put it there.

Medicine?

Mother, are you feeling unwell?

I heard that the underground water nearby

is not clean enough for drinking.

Li and I were new here.

We didn't know that.

That's why we have some diarrhea

these two days.

It's nothing serious.

Go back and take your medicine.

Don't talk so much.

Okay?

Master He,

no need to be so polite.

Your health is more important.

Okay.

Mr. Li.

I’ll leave you to it.

By the way,

you haven't seen the courtyard, have you?

Li.

-Madam. -Take Mr. Li

and Young Master

on a tour of the mansion later.

Yes.

This way, Young Master.

Why is the backyard so deserted?

Actually, I heard from the servant next door that

a tragic incident happened in this yard.

Was it the fire my mother mentioned?

The original owner of this place was called Yan Qingtian.

Apparently, his wife had an affair with his steward.

They killed him in the middle of the night,

burnt half of the mansion down,

and ran away with all the valuables in the house.

Madam isn't afraid.

But we servants are scared to death.

Young Master,

please tour the rest of

the courtyard yourselves.

I'm really sorry

for keeping some things from you.

You purposely came to my house

to befriend my mother.

What do you want?

That's not true.

I just happened to run into Li.

Fang Duobing.

I didn't kill your father.

I can trust you.

All of a sudden, so many evidence pointed to you.

It's too coincidental.

It's possible that someone knows you're alive

and deliberately pointed all the clues toward you.

But just because it's intentional,

doesn't mean it's definitely fake.

You may be innocent.

You may not be.

If you can tell me

everything you've concealed,

I can make my own judgment.

Other than my identity,

I didn't hide

anything else.

Did you really show up

outside the Yipin Tomb by accident,

and not because you knew Di Feisheng

was looking for the Weeping Guanyin there?

Did you really investigate cases with me

because you admire my skills,

and not because you want to enter the Baichuan Court.

Did Difeisheng really

plant the Gang Qi in my body

because you refused to save someone?

You lied to me that he was an Iron Head Slave

and kept him by your side.

Was that also coincidental?

Come to think of it,

you really don't hide anything.

In the end, I was the only one kept out of the loop.

I didn't know anything.

There are many things

I really can't help.

How convenient.

Wait.

[Baishui Garden]

This yard was originally called Baishui Garden. [Baishui Garden]

This yard was originally called Baishui Garden.

Baishui means spring.

Could it be the Netherworld Mansion?

Netherworld Mansion.

Did my mother buy the Netherworld Mansion?

If what those servants said is true,

the one who died must be Lian Quan.

But the Lord of the Netherworld is so skilled.

How could he be killed

his wife and her lover just like that?

There must be something wrong.

Have you heard of the King of Hell getting married?

I suspect

this is related to Lian Quan.

The Lord of the Netherworld's martial arts ranked third 10 years ago.

His unique skill, Bizhong Strike, could even dissolve bones.

Since you can find this place,

you must also be here for Lian Quan.

Maybe,

we can work together.

Do you think

I can't solve the case without you?

That would be a waste of

all the skills you secretly taught me.

If you can't tell me your secrets,

fine.

There'll be someone who can make you talk.

What a coincidence.

When I met you at the door,

I sent a messenger pigeon.

I have no time to joke with you.

Where is the Rama Heavenly Ice in your possession?

Why are the two of you

always pulling a long face?

I heard that

Master Yun shut himself away for 10 years.

I didn't expect you to

leave your place to catch me.

You even tied me up.

What did I do to deserve this?

Don't change the subject.

Maybe you don't know what the Baichuan Court is capable of.

We have something called the Water Dragon Incense.

The first stick of incense creates an addiction.

The second stick alleviates the addiction.

No matter what kind of tough man you are,

you can't withstand it.

Well,

isn't it a waste

to use something so strong on me?

We only use the Water Dragon Incense

to deal with extremely evil people.

I don't know why

you hate Li Lianhua so much.

When we find where Lotus Tower is,

we'll return to Baichuan Court immediately.

Fang Xiaobao.

Fang Xiaobao!

Since I caught you this time,

you should be obedient and

go back to Tianji Mountain Manor with me.

You've had your fun playing detective.

Next, you should go back

and prepare to get married.

-You hear me? -Who said I’m going back?

Where are you going then?

You don't even have a partner now.

Are you going to travel alone?

Madam.

Young Master.

What's wrong?

Why did someone put a box of money

in front of our door?

The King of Hell is getting married.
