Original subtitles

I miss you,

Tae Poong.

Is it here?

What is it? Is there something wrong?

No.

I was just wondering when you'll be home.

Are you still working?

- No, I'm hanging up. - Seo Jun.

Don't drink too much if you're drinking tonight.

I'll take care of myself,

so just mind your own business.

(Episode 35)

- Min Hyuk! - My goodness!

Hey.

Who is she?

Is she...

your girlfriend?

She's just an acquaintance.

Come on. Let's go.

Get in already.

Geez, my head.

How did I come back home?

After I had a drink with Mr. Yu at the snack bar...

From this angle...

and this angle,

I'm sure you're Tae Poong.

These eyes,

this nose, and this mouth.

They're exactly the same.

Good grief, I must've been mad.

What have I done?

Oh, my goodness! I must've been insane!

I can't believe it.

Seriously.

You abandoned me cold-heartedly,

but now you miss me?

Yu Jung, what are you thinking?

Yu Jung left me five years ago.

There is nothing more to it.

I need to get myself together.

Yu Ra, have you talked to Mr. Cha?

What do you mean?

You said you'd arrange dinner with him.

We need to get acquainted with him first,

so he'll introduce us to his friends.

Well.

It seems he's too busy to make time.

I'll rearrange dinner if he has spare time later on.

Come on.

We never got to say hello to him before and after you get married.

Aren't you guys...

a sham marriage?

What?

I'm just joking since you won't show him.

Why are you so surprised?

This won't do.

I need to show people that Seo Jun and I am a happily married couple.

Yes.

Let me think over and call you again.

Bye.

Who is it?

The broadcasting station wants me to appear in the documentary show.

Is that so?

It'll be a perfect opportunity to promote the company.

But they want me and my wife together.

It's supposed to be a special feature.

I'd agree to do it for the company...

if I'm doing it alone, but not together.

It's hard to turn it down even though I don't want to do it.

What should I do?

Then,

do you want my help?

He won't turn it down since it's a professional request, won't he?

Hey, Yu Ra. I've been looking for you.

Did you talk to Seo Jun? He said yes, right?

No, he won't.

He turned you down?

No, his chief legal officer called and said...

it's not possible to let him appear on the show.

It turns out Prosecutor Yu is the chief legal officer of DL Group.

Did you know?

So you're saying,

that it wasn't Seo Jun but Mr. Yu rejected the offer?

Yes.

Excuse me, Mr. Yu.

Did you reject the offer for Seo Jun instead of him?

What are you to decide whether he could be on the show or not?

I'm the chief legal officer of this company.

I turned it down...

because I thought the purpose of the show...

wouldn't do any good to Seo Jun nor the company.

Of course, it'll do good for Seo Jun!

He now needs...

to be shown as the next young and capable leader...

who will lead the DL Group.

However,

if he appears on the show where you're the star,

his image of a warm and nice husband will stand out more.

That's why it won't be any good for him.

That's up to me and Seo Jun.

I wonder why you meddle in a married couple's life.

Ms. Han.

What is your reason to be on the show...

with Seo Jun and show off that you're married to him?

Everybody in this country knows that you two are married.

Don't tell me...

there's really a problem between you two.

Excuse me?

If you're done, please leave.

I've got work to do.

Yu Myung, don't make a mistake.

If you put the wrong color, you have to do it all over again.

I won't unless you keep talking to me.

I'll be cockeyed in no time if I continue.

Stop complaining and concentrate.

Fine.

By the way, did you say you're going to sign the contract for the house?

Okay.

- Bong Jun. - Yes?

Are you really going to sign the contract?

A family should live together.

Don't worry. I'll be here for every meal.

That's not what I meant.

A family should live together in the same house.

Yeo Sook Ja, come out!

Get out here, now!

- What is it? - What's going on?

Who's being so loud at this hour?

Who is he to call my name so rudely?

What's the fuss about it?

Who are you?

I can see you, Mrs. Yeo.

I'll find you wherever you hide.

You just can't budge into my house.

Then why didn't you pick up my calls?

If you borrowed my money, you should pay me back indeed.

I would've already paid you back if I had the money.

Lady, your interest keeps bearing as we speak.

You're in a serious situation than you think.

Did you also get a private loan, Mom?

I will pay you back.

But you've got to give me time to do that.

We already gave you enough time.

Lady, come out and talk.

She says she will pay you back.

Don't you think you're too rude to be here at this hour?

Oh, don't hurt him!

- My goodness! - Oh, my! What's going on?

- Mom? - Bong Jun!

Tell me, Lady.

When will you give back my money?

I will give your money back.

But I can't get so large amounts of money out of the blue.

I didn't even get my premium back and I'm about to get kicked out.

You said you'd pay me back shortly.

Now, are you telling me that you don't give a hoot or what?

Mister, I'll pay you back instead.

The daughter will?

How?

I'll pay you back whatever I do,

so don't do this to my mom and please leave.

Do you mean it?

I won't wait for too long,

so get it ready as soon as possible.

Is that clear?

Let's go.

Gosh, it aches.

Mom,

I'll take care of it so don't worry.

What?

You got a private loan?

You've lost your mind, woman!

Look here.

What were you thinking, to take out private loans?

And why didn't you say a word...

until things turned out like this?

I'm sorry, honey.

Dad, stop it. Mom's had it enough too.

Don't make it worse.

Why would you...

keep causing trouble?

Why in the world?

Good grief.

Mom, it'll be all right.

Don't worry so much.

Yes, this is Yu Min Hyuk.

The basement parking lot?

Yes, okay.

Mrs. Han, what brings you here?

Well,

Seo Jun wasn't at his office.

I was wondering if he came here.

I see.

The chief is also away for a moment.

Okay. Have a good day.

I'm not sure why, but it keeps sounding the alarm.

Was there any a collision?

No. I looked around the moment it started to sound,

but there were no signs of collision.

Hello, Su Hee.

No. I have no plans after work. Why?

We're stocking up the store today,

but it will be too much work for Yu Jung alone.

I'm on my way somewhere with Sang Tae and Ye Jin.

I see.

Okay.

Sure.

Look, Su Hee.

This place is already packed when it's still so early.

You're right.

But do you think I can manage two stores at once?

Of course.

Ye Jin, you should also come here to work part-time.

I was thinking about hiring someone anyway after opening the store.

I can't. I'm preparing for open recruitment.

So, Ye Jin. Did you decide to try DL Group?

Yes. DL is the best firm for fashions in the country.

It would be nice if you can join it...

as Min Hyuk is already working there.

I know.

But the competition's quite strong,

so I don't know how it will go.

I trust in your skills.

You'll do well.

Ye Jin, good luck!

Thank you.

Should we chat while eating something?

Excuse me!

We'll get the first set, please.

Okay.

Will that be enough?

One set will be enough to fill up the three of us.

I could've done it alone.

Weren't you busy?

I came because Su Hee asked me.

But...

do you always work so late...

when you have a child?

Yes.

I switched to full-time as I needed the money.

I'm just unable to recall clearly.

Did I do anything weird on that day, by any chance?

I think it'd be embarrassing for both sides.

Let's forget about what happened that day.

Do I hang this one up too?

I have something to do at the store.

I'll be outside to deal with that first.

Okay.

I guess I was the only one who got drunk.

He seemed to remember everything.

This is so embarrassing!

Geez.

Ms. Han Yu Jung!

How did you find this place?

Is money ready?

Not yet.

I can't get such a big sum ready in one day.

Darn it!

Then why did you talk so confidently yesterday?

Give me the money you made at the store, then.

I can't do that. I'm just an employee here.

I'll call you right after getting the money ready.

How long am I supposed to wait?

At least make an effort.

That's...

This is the gain from today, right?

I'll let you off today with this.

Don't do this! That's not my money!

- Let go of this! - This isn't my money!

- Get your hands off! - Please!

Let this go!

- Hey! - I'm telling you to let this go.

What are you?

Are you all right?

Yes.

Thank you for the earlier.

But who was that man?

He's a loan shark.

My mom used private loans to invest in a construction firm,

but the chairman of that firm was arrested,

delaying the construction indefinitely.

I see.

It's fine.

I'm still young.

I'll have to work hard to repay it.

It's that man!

- What do we do? - Get him!

You can't deal with all of them by yourself.

Let's run away. Come on!

Get them!

Don't let them get away!

You're dead when I catch you!

Get them!

Just wait until I get you!

Go get them!

- Check that way. - Yes, sir.

It'd leave a scar.

If you don't disinfect it fast, it'll be a scar.

I'm okay.

You're not. Let me see.

These bandages were all they had.

It looks good.

By the way, why do you like Mickey Mouse?

I feel happy when I see Mickey Mouse.

Even when I'm scolded by my mom or I'm sad,

it makes my tears go back in.

I'm sorry you got injured because of me.

Let's go now.

Okay.

Take this and take care of your wound at home.

What is this?

Why is my heart pounding?

Hello, Min Hyuk.

The fabric factory owner had changes in his schedule, so he's coming now.

Yes. I'll take care of it.

Where is the contract?

In your desk drawer?

In your desk drawer.

Here it is.

Okay.

By the way, where are you?

I'm out of the office now.

I'll be back soon.

Bye.

Are you through with that?

What is it?

It says it's a complaint.

I did some research...

and you've done a lot of things.

Special violence, blackmailing,

defamation, and illegal debt collection.

So what do you want me to do?

I don't want you to do anything.

I'm thinking I'll take this to the police now.

You can make a choice before that.

Just take the principal...

of Mrs. Yeo lent...

or pay for your crimes you've committed so far.

Who is it?

Yes.

I'll pay you back. Give me more time.

Really?

Thank you.

Thank you so much.

What was that?

Was it the loan shark again? Did he ask for the money back?

Yes. But he won't take the interest,

so he just wants the principal. And he told me to take my time.

Is that so?

That's good.

But do you have enough money to pay the principal?

I should borrow from somewhere.

Otherwise, he will barge into my house again.

Sook Ja,

do you want me to help you?

You?

With your deposit?

Right.

- Bong Jun! - Hey!

My back hurts.

Family is all I've got. You're the best!

- Thank goodness. - All right.

This is the contract. Take a look.

There's something missing.

The unit price of delivery...

and physical and chemical test results are missing.

No way.

The head of the legal department has already checked it.

Take a look at it yourself.

What happened?

What happened, Chief Yu?

I'm sorry.

Min Hyuk wouldn't make such a mistake.

Something went wrong.

Seo Jun,

I know you trust Chief Yu.

Don't cover for him because of your personal relationship with him.

Call him by his title too.

Okay.

Don't rely on your personal relationship with Director Cha....

and get your job done right.

Yes, sir. I apologize.

I had high expectations.

I'm disappointed in you, Chief Yu.

Fortunately, he'll close the deal once we give him the documents.

Go finish it up well with Director Cha.

Yes, sir.

You're busted.

When I take a picture of you going upstairs, the game is over.

You're good looking.

Thanks for the compliment.

What’s your hobby, Mi Ri?

My hobby?

My hobby is love.

Loving a good-looking guy is...

my hobby.

You're witty, Mi Ri.

My ideal type is a humorous girl.

Mi Ri,

you're my dream girl.

Oh, my.

I'm not only witty...

but also quick-witted.

Look...

at the people over there.

They're having an affair.

How do you know?

They're a couple, but both of them have bags.

They left their own houses.

I see.

Mi Ri, let me take this call.

Sure.

Hello, sir.

Yes.

Let me fix my makeup.

Who is he?

He's totally my type.

My horoscope said I'll meet a man like fate today.

It was talking about him.

Mi Ri, you're so lucky.

I'll make it work with him...

and go all the way.

Oh, dear. Come on.

Where did it go?

Oh, my. I'm sorry.

Wait!

- What is it? - Don't move!

Don't move. It got stuck.

What's going on?

- I'm in such a hurry. - My goodness!

What were you looking at?

Hey. Stop moving.

Why can't I get it out?

Stop moving.

- Hold on. - No way. Wait.

My neck is hurting.

I can't feel my neck. Mom!

Why is it so stuck?

Call an ambulance.

Did you get it out?

What are you doing?

No!

I'm sorry. I'll compensate.

You can call me here.

I'm kind of in a rush now.

Take your hair. Bye.

Hey! Stop there!

What happened?

Well. Don't look at me.

I'm embarrassed.

My hair got cut.

You're cute.

What?

You look...

so cute to me, Mi Ri.

I'm cute?

Okay, Seo Jun.

It's resolved well?

Okay.

Chief Yu is meticulous. How can he make such a mistake?

I know.

I thought he was competent,

but I might've been mistaken.

You can't judge a book by its cover.

Come in.

It's the contract to review tomorrow.

Right.

Did anybody come in here when I was absent?

No. There was no one.

Is that so?

Okay.

Well, Director Cha's wife came.

Well, not the day before yesterday.

- I meant yesterday. - Yes. It was yesterday.

Yesterday, I came to ask you about the ledger contract...

and I found her here.

She was looking for Director Cha.

Is that so?

- Thank you. - Yes, sir.

Yu Ra, was it you?

I guess you're trying to kick me out of the sDL Group.

I won't leave until I find the real culprit.

If you don't like me in DL group,

you need to leave.

I don't have a girlfriend,

but I have someone I like.

But...

I can't meet her, so I'm looking for her.

By the way, Min Hyuk,

why did you want to see me today?

Well,

I have something to ask you.

Who is she?

I'll find her for you.

Who?

The girl you have a crush on.

You've been looking for her for a while.

You can't find her.

I've been looking,

but I can't find any trace.

She disappeared like she didn't exist.

Maybe I can find her.

Tell me. Where did you meet?

In Chuncheon.

In Chuncheon?

When?

Five years ago.

Five years ago?

I've told you once...

that I used to sell kimbap before.

I did it with her at Chuncheon station.

What's...

her name?

Yu Jung.

Han Yu Jung.
