Welcome back to

Yalikavak, Turkey for your ninth

challenge on this season of

"Battle of the Bloodlines."

[intense music]

Now, today is your first time

competing as bloodlines again.

This challenge is no joke,

and this is gonna tell you what

you need to do and what you need

to work on for those finals.

It's gonna see if you guys can

even finish the final

and who wants it the most?

Today you guys are playing

Weight for Me.

You're gonna be racing all the

way to the very top

of that mountain.

Along the way, there will be

checkpoints, just like all the

finals that we've had.

To begin, you're gonna have to

choose one of you to carry a

very heavy bag.

Girls are orange.

Guys are blue.

You're gonna carry this bag all

the way to the first checkpoint.

Now, the other person's job is

to complete that checkpoint.

Once it's completed, you guys

are gonna trade jobs,

and then whoever completed the

checkpoint will have to carry

the weight, and so on and so

forth, all the way up to the top

of this mountain.

Now, the top checkpoint

is gonna be completed by both

of you guys.

The team to complete all the

checkpoints and make it all the

way to the top of that mountain

first, win today's challenge and

be safe from elimination.

Losing team--you're gonna be

in The Pit.

You guys do not want to

go home now.

You are dangerously close to

making some money.

playing Through Thick and Thin.

Tonight is a team event.

Everybody is playing.

As you can see behind me,

there are two walls.

There's also two puzzles,

one for each team.

Your job tonight:

take that sledgehammer, blast

through the wall, go through it,

and solve the puzzle on

the other side.

>> Why do you have to give

me a puzzle?

Clearly, we are here because

I couldn't perform in a puzzle.

I'm just hoping tonight's

my night.

This is the big stage right now.

I got to pull it out for this

guy, and that's a lot of

my arch nemesis.

One good thing that's in our

favor is they're awful

at puzzles.

But, I don't want to count my

chickens before they hatch,

because who knows, it could be

anyone's day.

don't know what the pattern is

that we're trying to figure out.

strategic approaches I take to
