So I got to say, I'm a little intimidated,

but at the same time, I'm from Brooklyn, baby.

- Yeah, that's what I do for a living.

I work in the entertainment business,

I've sat and watched hundreds of people play,

witnessing lives change in an instant.

And I wanted to trade places with them sometimes.

outside of your comfort zone.

That was like the longest walk of my life.

- Welcome, guests, to the Banker's private island.

I am Joe Manganiello, and I'm here to make sure

that none of you go missing.

- Uh-huh.

- I wish I was kidding.

- Oh, my God, that's the guy from "Spider-Man."

He's ripped. He's a big dude.

He's kind of an idol for me.

- Yeah, baby.

Joe is simply hot.

That's all there is to it.

- I was chosen by the Banker to serve

as his personal gaming liaison, which is a role

that I was born to play.

The Banker has bested thousands of contestants

in the old game, but now he's upping the ante

in the hopes of finding

his ultimate adversary.

- Let's do it.

- Every night, one of you is going to play "Deal or No Deal"

against the Banker.

However, the money you win won't go into your pocket yet.

Instead, it will be added to one final group case,

an ever-growing prize that only one of you

will play for in the finale.

One of you could be walking away with a fortune.

We're talking life-changing money here.

- What?

- Because over the course of this game,

there will be more than $200 million up for grabs.

[cheering]

But you can't play the game we all know and love

without briefcases

filled with tons of cash.

- Wait a minute. - What?

- Here come the cases now, right on time.

- Oh, there it is.

- Meet Kamari, the Banker's assistant.

Tossing over $4.2 million worth of cases

into the jungle.

One of them worth $1 million.

- That's the big one right there.

- You will compete in an excursion

to retrieve those cases.

Whoever gets the highest value case will be safe.

Whoever gets the two lowest value cases

will be up for elimination

against the Banker

in a game of Deal or No Deal.

I know "Deal or No Deal" used to just be

about winning big money.

But on the Banker's island,

his game could also end up sending you home.

- [exhales]

- Now, for his first test, the Banker wants to see

who here is the biggest gambler.

- Oh. - Oh, OK.

- That's why he's included two unmarked red cases.

- Oh, there's a red one. - Oh, there's a red one.

- One contains a low number.

The other contains a steal, which allows you

to take someone else's case.

But you won't know which one is which until you open it.

So the gamble will be yours.

- The Banker is looking for one ultimate opponent.

It's me.

When we first had our daughter, I was a stay-at-home

dad playing poker on the side.

And my wife said, why don't you just try it full time?

So I'm a man who believes very much in calculated risk.

- And trust me, the Banker is always watching.

[cheering]

I thought Wisconsin was the sticks,

but, oh, man, this is deep muck.

I'm thinking of the time that my brothers

made me go check for antlers or something with them.

You know, like, find the hard spots in the marsh.

So I'm following the perimeter.

- Ah!

- I see people cutting through the middle.

I'm like, stupid, stupid, stupid.

- I don't want that.

It could be the lowest level case.

I definitely don't want that.

- Remember, the Banker values gambling.

And then I see another case kind of dug in a little bit.

It's the million-dollar case.

- The one thing I know about playing games

is don't move too quickly.

It's not worth taking that risk to steal

the million-dollar case now and then

have a huge target on myself.

- Kim having some difficulties out there.

Still hasn't made it past the entrance.

It's very much how my life has gone.

At 62 years old, I should be looking at retirement.

Instead, my job got outsourced, so I lost my job.

But the biggest thing is, I've never given up.

Knowing that those two red cases were out there,

my strategy was to hold my value to my chest

so nobody would get an opportunity to steal it.

and, like, hopefully I can earn him as much money

This is the first of many that could come during your stay

on the island.

and go for a red case.

- This is really interesting because it allows people

to really show who's gonna do what's best for the group

or for themselves.

- The two lowest cases will be up for elimination.

This could be what you need to stay in the game.

I felt like I had the better odds playing the honest route

because this will make me look really good,

and I don't have to go against the Banker.
