Original subtitles

Yin Yang Path.

Yin Death Road.

Fortune and sin end in the grave.

Money-covered river.

Paper-made clothes.

Farewell to the world.

Free from cares.

It's midnight.

Time to sleep.

You can come back

as the way you went out.

Today,

we have a new comer.

This girl is beautiful.

You can't bully her.

Otherwise,

let's see if the old man will punish you.

The poor girl.

You have to go through this even with a pretty face.

Who is it?

The corpse delivery.

There's no space.

My daughter is poor.

She died,

but there's no place to bury her body.

Please.

Please.

Everyone here is poor.

A new pretty girl just arrived here today.

There's really no space.

In that case,

I'll leave after borrowing something from her.

They are all dead.

What's there to borrow?

Just leave.

It not a big deal.

Just lend me one thing,

so that my daughter

can leave without worries.

It's really karma.

You knew each other?

That man

skinned my daughter's

face

just for this girl.

Men

always love pretty faces.

She's dead anyway.

Why not give her face

to my daughter?

Master.

So beautiful.

I want to change my face too.

I've heard from the villagers

that around the Bridge Manor,

there was a dwarf with crane-white hair and a ruddy complexion.

The Yin energy of the corpses nourishes the mortuary keeper.

So his skin won't easily decay...

[Painted skin]

Sir,

stay with us.

Don't go.

Sir.

Are you happy?

Please stay, okay?

Are you happy, huh?

Sir.

I'm coming.

There are too many people here.

Let's go into the room.

Room?

I can't wait!

No!

No!

I told you no.

You ruined it.

Kill them all.

The evil aura is so strong.

Something's wrong.

Move!

Move!

Move!

Move!

What a vicious killer!

What a vicious demon!

What did you say?

Demon!

It's a demon!

A great disaster is befalling

Yangzhou City.

Liar!

Drag him out.

Punish him with 30 rods.

A great disaster is befalling

Yangzhou City.

My young master is selling his collections of paintings.

Anyone interested can take a look and give your offering price.

Or you can draw on the spot.

Good drawing.

The lines are delicate and smooth.

The images are really vivid and lifelike.

This painting was drawn by Wang Huaiqing.

How would it be for sale in public?

It must be a replica.

It's a trick.

You're right.

Nonsense!

You can't tell an authentic one.

You can't even recognize the painter himself.

Are you blind?

He is Wang Huaiqing?

If her ladyship hasn't been seriously ill and needed money to get treated...

Guan!

The result of the autopsy is the same as that of the murder in the brothel.

It shouldn't be an ordinary method.

There's lipstick on his lips,

and an exotic fragrance around his body.

He must have been with a woman before he died.

Your inference is right.

The murderer might be a woman,

a very tempting woman.

Dispel the onlookers.

Please leave.

Stop watching.

Leave right now.

Stop watching.

Stop watching.

Maybe that wizard is right.

Take the body back to the Manor.

Let's go back.

Yes.

You're still playing?

Come to welcome the Master.

Are you not going to tell me

about what happened last night?

It's my fault.

Please punish me.

The skin of the corpse is really moisturizing.

You've just been transformed into a human.

It's inevitable for you to make mistakes.

You really worked hard to extract so much human energy.

Forget it.

As your master,

I made you new clothes.

Try it on.

Come here.

Nice skin.

You have a seducing face now.

Human skin is pretty,

but it needs energy.

Otherwise,

your demon aura will be exposed.

And you'll become ugly.

You come here.

Master.

I'll wait for you two

to find the sheer yang energy.

You must protect your skin.

Don't be targeted by the demon hunters.

Demons are bewitching

[Demon]

and always transformed into women.

They seduce humans

and do lewd things.

If a man gets involved,

his energy will suffer losses

and been taken away by the demon.

Demon?

Demons are bewitching.

[Demon]

Liu, go check the farmers' houses in the eastern city.

Wang, lead guys to patrol tonight.

I'll ask a ban on leaving the city.

If you see any prostitute,

arrest them.

Yes.

Official curfew.

Since the night chimes sound,

all men in the city

are grounded at home.

No access allowed.

Sir.

You're here again.

Your wife's disease...

We're closed.

Just for fun.

You smells so good.

My sister

is very fierce.

Your sister?

Get her down.

Let's play together.

Miss.

Miss, you...

Are you okay?

I'm fine.

But

he may be not.

Is he dead?

No.

Don't worry.

You can leave first.

If I leave now,

I'll get you into trouble.

Let's repot to the government.

It'll be even harder to explain if the government patrols come.

Sir.

Just leave.

Okay.

Well,

I'll take my leave.

Rong, who are you talking to?

Go.

Sir.

Who are you looking for?

Just now...

I...

This...

The one who talked to you

was my sister.

Sir,

just ignore her.

Actually you are...

Help!

Wang Huaiqing,

why didn't you invite me to drink?

Why was he already drunk?

Landlady,

that fat guy still owes me money.

I'm just wondering

whether he is dead or not.

Demon Subduing Bell.

There's an expert.

Watch him.

Yes.

What monster are you?

Stop running!

Watch out!

Nice running.

You're quite capable.

Be a demon hunter together with me.

Your butt doesn't hurt anymore?

[Notice]

You're awake.

That woman last night...

I suspect she's a demon.

What woman?

I knew you violated the ban and caught you drinking and flirting

last night.

Do you want me to find your wife

and ask her to take you back?

Hey.

No need.

She is not feeling well.

She can't get off the bed.

Hey.

I can go back by myself.

[Demon]

You claimed I was flirting.

Who saw it?

We all saw it.

I was going to get the medicine for Ruo.

The landlady took all the medicine.

Impossible.

Why can't I remember anything?

Right...

I...

I think so too.

They are talking nonsense.

Sit down.

How about this?

Just do me a favor.

Draw a portrait according to what they said.

Then I'll send you back.

What do you think?

Lower her right eyebrow.

There's a mole on her lips.

She's pretty.

Don't just describe.

Get to the point.

Her nose is quite similar.

Hey.

The lips are fine too.

What did you say?

You really met him?

Tell me.

Tell me it is real.

Yes.

Yes.

We did meet a bookish guy.

But meanwhile,

we also met a demon hunter.

She was afraid

to get you into trouble.

So we let him go for the moment.

Don't worry, Master.

I got one of his personal belongings.

I will lure him out,

get the sheer yang energy

and give it to you.

Yes.

You're clever this time.

Here.

I made you an outfit as well.

What?

No.

Why?

You don't want it?

I dare not.

Good girl.

What are you doing?

Do you know what you're doing?

Do you know what's our master drawing behind this every day?

Master likes that bookish guy too?

Nonsense.

This is the bookish guy's ancestor.

What?

Master fell in love with his ancestor,

and sacrificed everything for him.

But when his ancestor knew that Master was a demon,

he hired a demon hunter to kill her.

This bookish guy deserves to die, right?

His ancestor deserved to die.

That bookish guy

might be in a different case.

All men in the world are heartless and lustful.

What's their difference?

Master is possessed by hatred.

Only by getting sheer yang energy

can she regain her human body.

It's all your fault.

You refused to help,

and let that bookish guy run away.

That's because you're not capable enough.

You failed to seduce him.

How dare you talk nonsense?

As a result, Master gave me clothes because of you.

I'll get even with you

for these two things.

Isn't it good to give you clothes?

If Master just gave me one,

you would be jealous again.

Shut up.

There's an exotic fragrance on the clothes.

It will seep into our body.

Master is planting the corpse powder into our bodies.

If we can't find that scholar,

we will all perish

and become lonely ghosts.

No wonder you were so happy

when Master gave me the clothes.

I'll eat you.

OK, let's fight.

I'm not afraid of you.

Hurry.

Medicine.

The pharmacy master is not there.

He left a note.

If you want medicine, come to Nine and a Half in the south of the city.

[If you want medicine, come to Nine and a Half in the south of the city.]

Sir.

There's still a curfew in the city.

This note is weird.

You'd better not go.

Take care of her.

What is more important than your life?

[Nine and a Half in the south of the city]

It's there.

Miss.

It's you.

Why are you here?

Ah.

Great.

So you have it.

This medicine

may save my wife's life.

I thank you on her behalf.

You have a wife?

Yes.

What's her name?

Her name is Ruo.

Ruo?

How dare you steal my medicine?

I shall take my leave.

By the way,

I'm Wang Huaiqing.

I haven't known your name yet.

It's more convenient for me to repay you in the future.

My name is Rong.

Rong?

Thank you for saving me

in the restaurant that day.

Restaurant?

I suspect she's a demon.

I'll get going then.

See you.

Oh no.

They're here so soon.

Aren't you in a hurry to leave?

I'd better

stay a little longer.

Illusion.

A small trick.

Trying to cheat me?

Look over there.

Don't you dare

steal this man from me!

If you meet a man

with sheer yang energy,

it's not easy to steal his energy.

Only if you have sex

and he loses some of his energy

can you have a chance.

You were unconscious,

so I gave you mouth to mouth.

That day in the restaurant,

my friend said you...

your sister, she...

She's not my sister.

What?

I knew it wasn't like that.

I told you to leave.

You saved me?

You're hurt.

I'm sorry

you got hurt

for me.

Does it hurt?

Is he a fool?

I'm shedding my skin.

Just get out of here.

It's too dangerous.

She'll be here in no time.

The more dangerous it is,

the more I have to stay with you.

Sir, you're back!

Sir,

who's she?

We'll talk about it inside.

Ruo.

Guan,

decoct the medicine.

Ruo,

how are you?

Who's this girl?

Ruo,

let me introduce.

This is Miss Rong.

That was a close call.

She found my medicine.

Otherwise...

Damn me!

By the way,

Ruo,

Miss Rong just got injured

trying to save me.

Why don't we

ask Guan to clear out the room

for Miss Rong to stay?

A demon came by!

A demon is coming!

Wait for me!

Which side?

Whatever, this way.

It's you.

Do you have to fight me?

That's what I'm gonna do!

You hid him.

Do you think I'm not gonna find him?

Even if you find him,

he's of no use to you.

You have a crush on that scholar, do you?

None of your business!

Damn it,

he's like a ghost.

I'll see how long your face lasts!

Boss,

we found a body here!

Boss, there's another body in here!

Take these bodies back to the morgue

and report to the lord.

Yes.

Come down.

Why are you everywhere?

Demon.

These people...

All these people were killed by demons.

Do something

to prove it to me.

Eat this amulet.

The stars in the north and south are shinning all over the sky.

The incense helps me see through the gate of heaven.

Magic Mirror,

open!

Yes.

Demon!

Sir,

your forehead is black.

You're the one with the black forehead!

Guan!

Hey,

hey.

Sir,

between your eyebrows, there seems to be something...

Go.

Let me finish my sentence!

What are you doing!

Hey,

take the money and get out of here.

What kind of attitude is that?

Is there a stranger in your house?

Sir,

you have good taste.

It's really good.

Does this really work?

Of course.

Guan!

Brother, look,

this painting is full of affection.

Boss,

I'll take

this picture.

This painting is not for sale.

What?

Not for sale?

Sir,

I'm sorry.

I took it by mistake.

How is your wife's illness?

Thank you for your concern.

She's much better.

I have something to do today.

I got to go.

How about I taking care of her for you?

Ruo.

Your Ladyship!

Ruo!

Oh no,

something must have happened to Her Ladyship.

Ruo!

Huaiqing.

You're up and about now?

We were talking about your painting.

Sorry.

I think Miss Rong likes it.

I gave it to her.

This is a token of my love for you.

How can you give it away?

Miss Rong encouraged me to get up and try.

I seem to be getting better.

Maybe I've been in bed too long.

Thank you, Miss Rong.

Let's go.

Miss Rong,

thank you for decocting the medicine for Ruo.

How's your wound?

I got you some medicine.

I'm fine.

Why is your wound getting worse?

Come here.

You need to get better soon.

Thank you, Wang.

I'm leaving tomorrow.

[Wang Family Mansion]

Eat this amulet,

and you'll see her for what she really is.

Sir, run!

Rong is a demon!

What are you talking about?

It's not Miss Guan's fault.

There are rumors of demons in the city.

And so many people have died mysteriously recently.

It's hard not to panic.

Miss Rong is leaving tomorrow.

Go say goodbye to her.

Miss Guan, don't worry.

I heard that this demon only absorbs the essence of lustful men.

Wang is a true gentleman.

You don't have to worry about him.

This elixir

can cure your wife.

Where is the demon?

Where is the demon?

You went to the government?

It's the medicine she gave Ruo to keep her alive.

Put it away.

Didn't you say there's a demon?

Who is it?

Miss,

are you all right?

Ah!

Loose!

Let's go.

She's really a demon!

Rong,

kill her!

Yes.

Master!

Master,

what have I done wrong?

Master,

why do you have my portrait?

[Wanted Poster]

Is the person who painted this picture

the man with sheer yang energy?

Ah?

How dare you frame me!

Can you tell us

why Wang Huaiqing painted you?

How would I know that?

Master,

don't listen to her nonsense.

He's already hooked on you.

Why haven't you succeeded yet?

Maybe it's because you two

have feelings for each other?

I'm gonna kill you!

Ah!

Master,

keep her alive for a while.

As long as she stays out of trouble,

I promise

to bring back Wang Huaiqing's essence.

You framed me again!

I want you to stay here

and not fight me.

I advise you

not to follow in Master's footsteps.

[Wang Family Mansion]

Ruo.

Huaiqing.

Ruo.

Miss Rong.

When did you come back?

What?

You don't want me to come back?

Of course not.

Huaiqing has told me.

Thanks to your medicine,

I'm getting better now.

Yes.

Since you left,

Ruo has been missing you.

I'm so glad you're back.

You can help me spend more time

with her in the future.

Sure.

But,

I have one condition.

I want Wang

to teach me how to draw.

That's easy.

I'll let Huaiqing teach you tomorrow.

This girl's painting is cheap.

It's only one yuan here.

[Wang Family Mansion]

I can't believe she's here in person.

Who is it?

I have no choice.

Stay right here.

I'll distract her.

Hey!

Is it dangerous?

You take Ruo out of here.

I'll go call the police.

Promise me,

no matter what happens,

don't come out.

Master,

I'm incompetent.

He ran out of town.

Is that so?

Rong!

Rong!

Oh,

I found him.

Can you hide him?

Master,

you told me

only when we have sex can I absorb his essence.

So even if you find him,

you can't absorb his essence.

What are you trying to say?

I have an idea.

Do you know what happens

if you lie to me?

My life

has always been yours.

The nemesis is coming!

You'd better

hold out till then to see me.

Oh no!

The old demon ran away.

Just go after her.

I can handle it here.

Okay.

As long as the amulet is here,

it's hard for demons to get in and out.

It'll keep the mansion safe for a while.

Old demon, wait for me!

Kid!

Damn it!

Why are you always against me?

Vanquish demons and monsters!

Cut the crap.

You?

What?

Are you hungry?

These two girls haven't given me energy in days.

I'll suck you first.

Mine?

No, no, no.

Mine stinks.

Old demon,

it turns out you feed on men to keep you alive.

I've been a virgin for 30 years!

I'll see how I lose my virginity!

I'll kill you

while you're sick!

It's time to bring out the big guns!

See you.

Where is he!

Rong,

are you okay?

Wang, get out of the way.

Huaiqing.

Ruo.

What are they doing?

I suspect she is a demon.

Your Ladyship,

I reported it to the government.

She tried to kill you.

Nonsense!

If she wanted to kill me,

she would have done it already.

Ruo,

in the spur of moment,

she used the magic to save me.

We can't believe everything Youyu said,

but...

Youyu,

she saved our lives.

You said she's a demon.

I have to see it with my own eyes.

Move!

Lord You,

if there is no official document

and you kill innocent people,

my husband and I will fight to the death.

There's something fishy about it.

Come to me if you need any help.

Guys, watch the place in shifts

until that taoist returns.

Yes.

Your Ladyship,

she's really a demon!

Shut up.

Huaiqing,

I'd like a moment alone with Rong.

I know you like Huaiqing

and you wouldn't hurt him,

right?

But I don't understand

why are you wasting yourself

trying to cure me?

If you die,

I won't live alone.

If you die,

he won't live.

Wang is in danger.

Only I can save him.

Why?

You guessed it, didn't you?

I'm a demon.

Why didn't you tell him?

Because you like him.

If you wanted to hurt him,

he'd be dead already.

Even if I told him,

he might not believe me.

I'm afraid

he has feelings for you too.

Huaiqing and I

got married.

If I'm here,

he will never marry again.

If you want to hurt someone,

it should be me.

Right?

[Wang Family Mansion]

The damned Taoist priest is not back yet.

Miss Guan.

Mr. You.

It's so upsetting to stay here.

Let's have a drink.

Okay.

This is from Rong.

Mr. Wang,

I don't want to cause you any trouble.

This time,

we will never meet again.

I hope you and Ruo will be happy.

Once I'm in love,

tears will drop.

Can you take me away from here?

This is our home.

If we leave here,

where can we go?

No matter what happens,

I want to be with you,

even if I have to die.

If we have to die,

we'll die together.

Damn Taoist priest.

What took you so long?

Did you catch the demon?

I would have been dead if I did.

Didn't you say your ancestors specialized in demon hunting?

Go ahead if you can.

I can't catch the demons.

I need help.

Do you have any helper?

Yes, it's you.

I'm not your helper.

If you don't help me,

who will?

I'll go take a look.

This is the love token I gave to you.

How can I give it to anyone else?

Wang.

Where is Rong?

She left.

She left?

No.

It's impossible for demons to break through my spells.

I can still smell her demon aura.

She is right here.

You should leave.

Ruo and I

don't want to be disturbed.

Wang.

Sorry for this.

Excuse me.

Only Mrs. Wang is in the room.

I suspect

she is the demon.

Xuan Yi.

Are you out of your flat head?

You.

Wang.

How about letting her come out

and proving it to him?

Officer You.

Since we are friends,

I don't want to embarrass you.

But

if anyone dares to make trouble in my house again,

I will seek justice

even if I have to bring a lawsuit out of Yangzhou City.

Miss Guan,

what do you think?

I also think

she's not your wife.

Take her.

Stop moving.

Mr. Wang.

If your wife is not a demon,

she can walk out of the room

and prove her innocence.

Ruo.

Let's go.

Fine.

I cut my finger and swear

what I said is true.

The demon needs to absorb yang energy and spirit.

If she is a demon,

her skin will rot in seven days

and her soul will disappear.

Officer You, if you trust me,

we'll see the result

after seven days.

Okay.

I'll guard her for seven days.

[Wang Family Mansion]

You broke through the charm

and got your demon spirit dispersed.

I'll see how long you can hold out.

[Wang Family Mansion]

Ruo.

How are you?

I think it's a relapse.

It doesn't matter.

I'll get some more alcohol for you.

OK.

Sir,

can you do me a favor?

Of course, Miss Guan.

Take the spell paper

for me.

That paper was left to suppress the demon.

That's why I'm curious.

Just take it and show me.

Stop.

Okay.

By the way,

you used to call me Liu.

Why are you so polite today?

Sir,

does it smell good?

If you don't want your soul to disappear,

just devour this.

And get Wang Huaiqing's sheer yang energy as soon as possible.

You know the consequences of deceiving Master.

Lin.

Where is Liu?

Liu?

I guess he went to drink with Miss Guan.

Yes.

Have a good rest.

There's still some medicine in the study.

I'll get it for you.

Miss Guan.

Have you seen Liu recently?

Miss Guan.

Miss Guan.

What can I do for you?

We don't know if Ms. Wang is a human or a demon.

It's dangerous to go in.

I'm going in.

Why don't you accompany me?

Ms. Wang.

Ms. Wang.

Miss Guan.

This is your last chance tonight.

Master won't spare you.

Demon!

Miss Guan.

You go first.

Ruo.

Why did you get up?

Come.

Evil demon!

She came out and killed people again.

Wang.

Come out!

Wang.

Do you recognize this?

This belongs to Ruo.

She always keeps it on her.

[An old friend's appointment at a pavilion in mountains]

An old friend's appointment

at a pavilion in mountains.

We were talking about your painting.

You are not Ruo.

Who are you?

She is a demon.

There's something on the beam.

Evil demon, I'll kill you!

Wang Huaiqing, look carefully.

She is really a demon.

Let me do it.

Go after her!

You killed Guan.

If I don't skin her,

how can I send energy to my sister?

Where is my wife?

Isn't Rong your wife?

Where is she?

I'll kill her!

How heartless.

You were just obsessed with her

and now you want to kill her.

I feel sorry for her.

I really don't understand.

Since she and you did that kind of thing,

why didn't she take your yang energy?

I knew she had feelings for you.

I told her not to follow Master's old path.

She is...

You talk too much.

You are the descendant of that heartless man?

You stinky men made me like this.

You too.

You are the one to be blamed

if Rong dies.

Old demon!

Old demon!

You talk too much.

I told you

not to follow Master's old path.

Huaiqing.

Huaiqing.

Sheer yang energy!

Exorcising order.

Are you done?

The Primes help to comfort my body and soul.

The soul and five organs of the disciple are guarded by northern gods.

Azure Dragon and White Tiger lead the army orderly.

Vermilion Bird and Black Tortoise will not be startled.

Guards of the Three Realms command thunder.

Ghosts and demons are frightened the might.

I borrow the power from the infiniter heaven and earth.

The seven-star sword is always in my hand.

I command the divine weapons.

Let me see where you can go.

You are Rong.

Where is Ruo?

I tried so hard to be her.

Why can't I get your love?

You are a demon.

You will never understand

what love is.

Let me ask you again.

Where is Ruo?

Give her back to me.

You painted my portrait.

And you said you never liked me?

I never liked you.

Never.

Demon Vanquishing Palm.

I command the Soul-chasing Sword.

You are mine

Heaven and earth, Yin and Yang are in pairs.

Invisible primordial qi is everywhere.

Be quick to obey my command！

Wang Huaiqing, I'll give you one last breath.

His pure yang blood

can destroy the primordial spirit of the old demon.

You yu.

Wang Huaiqing avenged you.

[Wang Family Mansion]

You're awake.

Huaiqing.

Why did I see a woman

in the mirror?

That's the illusion

caused by your longing.

Her name is Ruo.

She's your wife.

Ruo.

Where is she?

She passed away out of illness a few days ago.

She passed away?

If the person in the mirror

is Ruo,

then who is

the another woman

somehow in my heart?

I really don't understand.

Demon.

As you can see,

Wang Huaiqing is dead

because of you.

Humans and demons are enemies.

I want you to forget the past

and never harm the mortal world.

I'll let you go.

Forgetting the past

is no better than being dead.

Priest,

I'm willing to use my demon core

to save Wang.

[Once I'm in love]

[Tears will drop]

Wang.

[Once I'm in love, tears will drop. I try not to love you but I can't.]

You love Ruo so much.

How could I hurt her?

You taught me painting.

And I've learned how to paint eyebrows.

Incising bones and shape,

I tried so hard

and endured so many cuts

to paint myself like Ruo.

Are you only gonna love me

when I draw me like her?

Right?
