[reel clicking]
[upbeat rock music]
- [Officer] Happy Fourth.
[fireworks exploding] [people cheering]
[splashing]
- I have a witness.
Hi, mom.
- Get down!
- Police, if you're in here, make yourself known.
- [Officer] Oh man. Looks like you struck a deer.
- [Driver] We did.
- This puppy is under arrest.
[dog barking] [indistinct shouting]
- I gotta ask. Why's your zipper down?
- How you doing?
- You need to have compassion.
You need to understand where people are coming from.
- Thank you for not being a jerk.
- Now it's a party.
[upbeat rock music]
[fireworks popping]
[upbeat music] [people cheering]
- Sober driver? - Yeah.
- He drew the short straw,
and then he's gotta drink the water.
Hey, you guys be good.
Appreciate you guys.
- Hey! Hey!
Hey! Hey!
- She's going for it.
[upbeat rock music] [officer laughing]
- You're going to jail tonight, Jesse!
- No.
- Yeah, he said, "You got this one."
- See you, ladies. - Bye!
[upbeat rock music]
[crowd chattering]
[crowd chattering]
- Stop. - Hey.
- Officer Khachi is gonna escort you to the patrol car
and issue you a ticket.
This is an arrestable offense.
If you'd rather not go up there and have a ticket written,
you can go to the jail.
- Let's go.
That black car up there. - You wanna walk with him?
- No, yeah.
- Apparently, they were in a crowded dance floor.
And people bump into each other while they're dancing.
She thought it would be a great idea
to turn around and punch this guy in the face.
- Right here. Stand right here.
- Stop.
- [Khachi] If you don't stop, you're gonna get
a disorderly conduct charge too.
- Go over there.
- [Khachi] He's free to go.
- [Glascock] Back up.
- [Khachi] Dude, I swear.
Go over there now
or you're getting a ticket too for interfering.
I mean it. Go over there now.
- [Glascock] I'm not gonna tell you again.
You don't walk up on cops like that.
- You've got one more chance.
Get away or you're going to jail.
Last chance. Walk away.
I'm not playing games.
Other people that we're not aware of,
that may or may not have been involved in the situation
approach us while we're conducting our business,
it's a huge officer safety issue.
We don't know what their intentions are,
how they're involved in this situation.
We just don't allow.
- Why can't you listen?
- If you don't care,
you literally can go to jail tonight.
You want her to go to jail?
- You wanna go to jail? - Oh my God.
- Then stop acting ridiculous.
- I'm not acting-- - You're acting ridiculous.
- Up top is your citation number, court address.
- Date, time, phone number.
- Your information.
Are you listening?
- [Khachi] This charge is for-- okay.
This one's for disorderly conduct.
- This is my information down here at the bottom.
- This one's for fighting in public.
- Perfect. Have a good night.
- She was released with two summons.
One for fighting in public,
and the other one for disorderly conduct.
[tense music]
[crowd chattering]
- So apparently, there was a disturbance
with the regulars that hang out around here
and some other ones that come in.
Some words were exchanged.
And it was escalating towards a fight,
so we were able to get here in time.
- Okay.
- I have to deal with it.
- We're curious, 'cause I know the reason everybody's here
is because they serve food.
- They don't serve alcohol, but that doesn't stop
all these teenagers drinking in their car.
I mean, they just get rowdy.
They always wanna fight.
They always wanna get loud.
And it's like, "Where the (bleep) are your parents?"
And it runs my customers off.
'Cause no adult wants to deal with it.
- Since this is a bar, if we get here and they're here,
we'll start IDing everybody.
And then if they're under 21,
you have every right to kick everybody off your patio.
- Thank you. - Not a problem.
- About every hour or so,
start having two walk up here, just make a loop.
- Yep. Make it part of the rounds.
Some of the business owners around here
kind of raised concerns about underage drinking
that's happening in this parking lot.
So we're just gonna need to step it up
with a little bit more patrolling around here.
This underaged drinking out here needs to stop.
[light music]
[tense music]
[phone ringing]
- Hello?
My kids range from 2 to 16.
I've got six of them.
And having kiddos helped me a lot
when it comes to dealing with people that are impaired.
Because a lot of times, you have to slow down.
And sometimes we can get
ready just to get the job done and stuff.
And we miss things and we miss hearing people.
They've almost come off the road.
They're definitely swerving within their lane.
[tense music]
We're stopping at the top of this road.
- [Carson] Hey, how's it going?
- [Carson] Heading to (bleep)?
- Yep. - Where you coming from?
- Yeah, it smells like it.
I can smell alcohol.
- Yeah, you were swerving pretty good.
You almost hit the guardrail.
- That's your opinion, not mine.
I saw what I saw.
And then you had a car going towards you,
and you were coming this way, and you were over the line.
So I do need your driver's license
and your insurance, please.
- All right, cool, I'm gonna have you
come sit in the passenger seat with me, okay?
- That way we can separate you from the smell.
[radio chatter]
- [Dispatch] 9-30, 10-8, 21-11.
- [Carson] How long were you guys down on The Strip?
- [Driver] We just got here tonight, so.
- What time did you get out there?
- Okay.
At your vehicle, I can smell odor of intoxicants.
That's why I asked you to come sit in the car with me.
So how much did you have to drink?
- Yeah.
- Three drinks through the whole night?
- Okay.
When was the last time you had something to drink?
When was your last drink?
- 45 minutes to an hour ago? Okay.
- All right, so because I can smell it on you,
it's pretty stout, I'm gonna do fields,
make sure you're not impaired.
If you're not impaired, then I'll send you on your way.
But if you are, we'll go a different route, okay?
- All right, so I'm gonna have you
go to the back of your vehicle, okay?
- [Dispatch] 9-20.
- Can you look at the tip of my finger
with your eyes and your eyes only?
Can you place your chin down?
- I can't see your finger.
- [Carson] Can you place your chin down?
Okay.
Can you see my finger here?
- [Driver] Yeah. - Okay.
I want you to look at it with your eyes
and your eyes only, okay?
Do not move your head.
Is there any reason you wouldn't be able to do this?
- [Driver] Okay.
- Is there any reason you wouldn't be able to do it?
Okay, I'm asking you a question.
Is there any reason-- - Yes, do it.
- Okay, listen.
Is there any reason you would not be able
to follow my finger with your eyes and your eyes only?
- I'm following your finger, yes.
- Okay, we're gonna go.
[tense music]
Nope, just your eyes.
I need you to look at my finger
'cause your eyes aren't following.
Would you be willing to blow in a PBT?
- [Carson] Okay.
- I need you to look at my finger
'cause your eyes aren't following.
Would you be willing to blow in a PBT?
- Okay.
- So if you can't do that test,
we can proceed with the other test,
which is your walk and turn, and one-leg stand.
Or we can do a preliminary-- - Do what?
- Walk and turn, and one-leg stand.
Which, if you choose to do that, she'll explain each one
of those tests to you before actually asking you to do it.
Okay? If you don't wanna do that,
then it's the preliminary breath test.
If we can't get any of it,
what will likely happen is you will probably
be taken into custody for DWI.
I don't want that to happen.
Especially if you're not good for it, okay?
So she's gonna explain these tests to you one more time.
And if we can't get-- - Yeah, but if I deny it
and I say I want a lawyer, then what?
- The same thing.
- Same thing, what?
- You will still be taken into custody.
- [Carson] Okay.
- [Carson] Sounds good.
- [Carson] All right, I'm gonna have you turn around
and place your hands behind your back, okay?
- Okay.
- All right, can you go palm to palm for me?
Here, we'll do it in front.
I don't wanna hurt your shoulders.
[tense music]
9-16 O.B. I'm 10-15 with my male subject.
I'm gonna have you come this way.
Place your hands on the car.
- [Dispatch] 10-15, male subject, 21-22.
- Hey, Riner, do you wanna search him for me?
- Yeah. - Thank you.
- [Carson] Got it.
- [Carson] I'm gonna grab your arm so you don't fall
and we're gonna walk this way, okay?
- Okay.
- And we can go right here.
- Here? - Yes, sir.
- Okay.
- Watch your head.
So he's refusing to do field sobriety test.
He's got a strong odor of intoxicants.
He admitted to having three drinks.
And his driving was pretty bad.
He almost hit somebody.
So we're gonna arrest him for DWI.
I'm gonna reach around you and fasten your seatbelt, okay?
[tense music]
[upbeat rock music]
- Today we have The Shootout Street Party.
It's a neat event that showcases all these power boats.
We have spectators coming in from all over the Lake area
to look at these machines set up and on display.
The Shootout is a power boat race event
that they have here every year.
It's been happening since the '80s.
- [Announcer] Folks, you just saw history
at the Lake of the Ozarks.
- The actual boat race this weekend
will be across the lake in Sunrise Beach.
So all weekend long, we're gonna have these power boats
racing for different bragging rights and different titles.
They use it as a fundraiser
for different charities and organizations.
[fans cheering]
[upbeat music]
Eventually, after all the racing events are over,
you see a lot of these folks come back down here
to The Strip and enjoy the nightlife down here.
We beefed up our numbers here.
Everybody in the department will mostly be working tonight
to cover this event
to make sure the folks that are coming down tonight
are gonna be able to do so safely.
[people chattering]
[pensive music]
- Copy. I'm gonna turn around north side of the dam.
I'll be there shortly.
We just got dispatched to a call.
There's a guest that's being violent with the owner.
Unknown what that is, but we're gonna step on it
'cause Johnson's there by himself.
[siren blaring] [tense music]
- Stop! - Hey!
[indistinct screaming]
- [Guest] I'm done! Stop!
- Get the (bleep) off me, (bleep)
- I got him.
- No. He attacked me.
- [Guest] (bleep) I'm done, right now.
He attacked me, ask that lady. - Let go.
- [Guest] He attacked me.
- [Johnson] Turn around.
- [Guest] No, sir. - Turn around.
- [Guest] Because I smell like alcohol?
Oh my God.
Notice, I'm not resisting.
Sir, can I pause you?
Please, sir.
Would you listen to me?
[radio chatter]
- Sir. Sir, would you listen?
He just attacked me.
- [Johnson] You will be quiet right now.
[tense music]
- I know. Please, I understand.
- Hey, hey.
- I'm serious.
- I'm serious.
He (bleep) attacked me down that staircase.
All I was doing...
- Okay. - I got them separated.
He was very...
erratic, so I put him in cuffs.
According to the owner, he came up here
because the guy was slamming doors.
He was telling the guy, "Hey, look, you need to calm down."
Guy continued to get erratic.
The owner's like, "Look, you just need to leave."
Went to walk down the boardwalk here,
and the guy pushed him.
Then the fight was on from there.
Right now, the owner's not wanting
to press any kind of charges.
As long as there's no damage to the unit,
he just wants him to leave.
Wants him to get his (bleep) and go.
Was there any damage to anything up there?
- So as of right now,
what's happening is that you're being kicked
out of your room, okay?
- Okay.
- Yeah.
- Just stay seated.
- I'm seated. I'm seated.
- What's up? - Okay, so what happened was
I came back from the night at The Strip, right?
I took a shower. I took a cold shower.
I don't know why, but my room didn't have warm water.
So I was (bleep), I was kind of mad about it.
Now, he comes up to my room
and he's like, "What the (bleep) going on?
What the (bleep) going on?"
I said, "Dude, this room don't have (bleep) warm water."
I said, "Hey, will you please turn the water on?
Will you check it out?"
He said, "I'm not checking it out with you."
He got out to this (bleep) balcony,
and he (bleep) attacked me.
Right before the cops got here, he (bleep) attacked me
down that (bleep) staircase.
And that's when the big guy over there (bleep) handcuffed me.
- Okay.
- I want you guys to know that this was him.
And I wanna, is there anything in this report
that could get me a refund?
- [Johnson] Well, I'll be honest with you,
that's gonna be a civil matter for you
to take up with this business, okay?
But give me a minute and we'll get you out of those cuffs.
- [Guest] Thank you.
- [Johnson] Please put your feet back in real fast.
- [Johnson] What's that?
- Yeah. I'll tell you what.
- Just do this-- - Right there?
- Just do it. Just do it.
- [Johnson] All right. Good?
- Yeah, we're good.
- Go ahead and step out for me. - Yes, sir.
Oh, sorry. Sorry. - You good?
- Yeah, yeah, I'm good. I'm good.
- All right, I'm gonna take these cuffs off of you.
When I take them off of you, what I want you to do is,
as I remove your hand from the cuff,
I want you to put it on top of your head.
You understand? - Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
Yes, sir. I got you 100%.
Hold up, sir.
I'll show you the (indistinct) (bleep) attacked me.
Let's go. - [Johnson] All right.
- Dad, come pick me up.
Where you dropped me off.
Like right now.
All right, love you. Bye.
He's on his way.
I gotta call my brother 'cause he was down there
at the dam with me.
Hey, I need you to get to the (bleep) hotel
or you ain't gonna have a place to stay tonight.
- Why? - Now!
Don't ask why and get to the (bleep) hotel.
I've got us kicked out, obviously.
Dude, the dude attacked me when I came out of the room
'cause we didn't have no (bleep) warm water.
And now there's (bleep) six cops here
trying to blame it on me.
Like no, it's not on me, bro.
This guy's running a (bleep) two star hotel.
If that.
- Yes, sir. - What we're gonna actually do
is probably give you a ride to the toll bridge.
You know where that building is right there?
- [Guest] No, sir.
- So that way your dad can pick you up right there.
- Well, my brother's on his way from down there
and my dad's on his way from that way.
- [Kordula] Yeah, Sunrise Beach.
- Yes. Okay, so we're gonna wait for my brother.
Give me five minutes, please.
- [Kordula] Oh, not a problem.
- Quit being (bleep) stupid!
You're not gonna keep the hotel room!
He done (bleep) it up!
- You think I'm (bleep) playing this?
There's four cops standing here
telling me to shut the (bleep) up when I'm yelling at you!
You're (bleep) not listening to me!
It's a civil matter.
We will go home. We will civil it in court.
We will get our money later.
It is not a right-now thing.
I'm sorry. Good riddance.
(bleep) off. Let's go.
(bleep)
[light music]
[upbeat rock music]
- What's up, boaters of America?
The party starts right here
at the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout.
So buckle up and get ready.
- [Announcer] American Ethanol.
It's loud and it is proud.
- It's really hard to gauge how many people
are coming to the Shootout.
But it's definitely in the thousands.
There's events all over the lake.
The Street Party was over in Lake Ozark.
There's the Mini Shootout in Camdenton.
[crowd cheering]
But the main race event is here in Sunrise Beach.
And all the law enforcement agencies at the lake here
just come together and make sure everybody is safe.
[upbeat music] [crowd cheering]
Later in the evening, as the sun starts to go down,
people are gonna start hitting the roads.
They're gonna be heading maybe out to The Strip
or other parts of the lake.
After everybody's been in this a 100 plus heat,
they've been drinking,
that's where we're gonna be worried more
about things happening.
[tense music]
- So one of my officers just heard over scan,
there's a car on fire
with the driver possibly fleeing the scene.
- [Radio] 9-17 OB. I can see the smoke.
- Yep, there's definitely a fire.
[dramatic music]
[siren blaring]
- Yeah, nothing like the smell of burnt metal
to start off your day.
[intense music]
This is probably like my fifth or sixth vehicle fire
probably in the last few years since I've been a sergeant.
Like, these things happen quite often.
It's kind of alarming.
[water spraying]
Looks like they got it,
about got it put out.
[water spraying]
Nobody's hurt. Nobody was in the vehicle.
That's a good thing.
So Officer Keagy's out with the driver of the vehicle.
I'm gonna walk over here and kind of get the gist
of what happened.
6 OB, what was his driving status?
- [Dispatch] Driving status is suspended.
[radio beeping] - 10-4.
Not supposed to be driving.
We were treating it as a motor vehicle accident.
After running the driver's driver's license,
dispatch notified us that it was suspended
in the state of Missouri.
You can't be driving in the state of Missouri
without a license, so.
Hey, Keagy.
What are we doing? We good to hook?
- Not supposed to be driving.
Hey, what is that in your hand?
- [Officer] Are you supposed to have these?
[tense music]
- [Keagy] Just put your hands together like you're praying.
It'll be more comfortable.
- [McCrorey] You good, Keagy?
- Yep. - All right, man.
The driver's been placed under arrest
for driving while suspended.
No other charges.
During a search of his person, incident to arrest,
officer found a pair of brass knuckles.
I don't know if they're gonna do anything about it.
He probably, I think he said he works
at the strip club right down the road.
He probably is working as a bouncer,
and that's probably why he has them.
The owner of the vehicle said that he had a friend of his
work on the vehicle earlier today on the head gasket.
Probably be best to have your vehicles
worked on professionals,
otherwise, stuff like this happens.
But he will be going to jail tonight.
[tense music]
[crickets chirping] [tense music]
- 6, en route.
Assault in progress at one of our bars.
[tense music]
[siren blaring]
With Shootout this weekend,
our town stays busy.
The big crowds that come in for The Shootout,
they can be pretty unpredictable,
so I guess we can see what happens.
- [Dispatch] We ran coordinates.
You the one that called us?
- What's going on?
- [McCrorey] Are you okay?
- This your car?
- I'm not (bleep) going nowhere.
- I know you're not going nowhere.
I didn't ask you to go anywhere. I never assaulted him.
Where was I? Where was I at?
- Is (bleep) your boyfriend? Husband?
- Oh, he's definitely a (bleep) half-ass boyfriend.
- Okay.
- We came out here for The Shootout.
He drank too much.
I walked away. I sat at Casey's for over an hour.
Charging my phone.
It's literally on, like, the lowest percentage.
So I could get an Uber home, right?
- Yeah. - I come back over here.
And he's texting me all these stupid messages.
Like, "(bleep) you. Don't talk to me.
You made your bed, X-O, by leaving me here," right?
I just needed to charge my phone so I could Uber.
- Why would he say you assaulted him, though?
- He says I assaulted him
'cause I asked him to get out of the car,
and I don't want him riding in the car with me home.
And he's sitting here, crying.
And he wants to say I assaulted him?
I don't need any more issues.
- Why?
- Because he's aggressive. - Okay.
- And he wants to cry because I closed the door
and asked him to get out.
- How long have you guys been together?
- A year. Well, under a year, but yeah.
On and off.
And he thinks that he can do this.
Call 9-1-1, and I'm the victim.
Are you kidding me?
And it just makes me mad.
It makes me mad, and I've not touched that man.
He threw a glass at me. It's all over the floor.
Broke two of my nails, which I'm not too worried about,
but like, I just got these done.
They're hard to break.
- How's it going, man?
- [McCrorey] How long have you guys been together?
- [McCrorey] Over a year? Okay.
Does this happen regularly?
- Okay.
- [McCrorey] Okay. Are you hurt anywhere?
- Where at?
- Yeah. I don't see anything.
I don't wanna press--
- [McCrorey] What about your hands?
Can I see your hands?
- [McCrorey] Okay.
- Okay. Well, give us a few minutes.
We'll try to come to a resolution, okay?
[tense music]
Yeah, it sounds like, from what he said,
the altercation happened over there
away from the property.
And she said that she walked to Casey's
to get away from him.
I don't know.
- Yeah, there's a little bit of glass.
Oh, yeah. I do see that now.
A few pieces.
Are you wanting to pursue charges or anything?
- I don't care. I wanna go home.
I would pay for an Uber if I can get my Uber app to work.
- Okay. - I can't make this go away.
- Yeah. I mean, you're kind of right.
You're kind of right.
After talking with them both,
there's a little bit of conflicting stories.
Neither one of them wanna pursue charges,
but he's claiming that she punched him in the face.
She's claiming that he threw a bottle
or a glass at her, broke some nails.
She does have a couple broke nails,
but she doesn't wanna pursue.
So obviously, we have to document this, okay?
So I'm gonna ask again.
You don't wanna pursue charges, correct?
- [McCrorey] Uh, no.
- [McCrorey] No.
- [McCrorey] It sounds like both of you just wanna go home.
- [McCrorey] And I'll be honest with you,
the stories are a little bit conflicting.
We don't really have any physical evidence
that would indicate either one of you were lying to us.
- What's your plan on getting home?
- We'll get home tomorrow. - [McCrorey] Okay.
- We're gonna get a room. - [McCrorey] Okay.
That's what I was gonna say.
I don't want you guys driving.
- I'm the driver. - We're not driving.
- [McCrorey] Okay.
- So you understand not to come back
and start anything else, right?
Okay. - That way is good.
- 'Cause they're going to the hotel, correct?
- Yeah.
We follow the evidence.
If we can determine an aggressor or an injury of an assault.
If we have those both, then and we can make an arrest.
But with the conflicting stories,
the next best thing is just have them separate.
Okay. Be careful, please.
[laughing]
- [McCrorey] I was gonna offer, but that's a long ways. [laughs]
[upbeat music]
- Okay.
We're gonna sit car to car
with Deputy Lackey for a little bit.
He's part of Camden County's traffic unit.
- What's up with the hostage call that 24-63 and 24-21 got?
- Okay.
- So clearly, she's not a hostage.
- [Lackey] No.
- But she might be holding a beer hostage.
[laughing]
[sirens blaring]
- We're gonna go after a car
that was doing 38 in a 25 mile an hour zone.
We're gonna back up Deputy Lackey.
[siren blaring]
- [Lackey] Okay.
[puppy barking]
- Deputy Lackey told her roadside
that, you know, he could smell a little bit of
odors of intoxicants coming off her breath.
He likes to put people in his car.
A front seat interview is what we call it.
'Cause obviously, his car does not smell
like odors of intoxicants.
And when I say odors of intoxicants,
I mean the smell of alcohol.
He's gonna talk to her, and we'll see what's going on.
He's putting a straw into the PBT machine.
It's a good tool for us to gauge what the subject
is at for intoxication level.
[dog whimpering]
Face my car.
Right now, you're under arrest for DWI.
[tense music]
- Your BAC was a .148.
The legal limit in the state of Missouri is a 0.08.
Have you ever been arrested for a DWI before?
- Take a deep breath. You're gonna be okay.
Is there anybody that we could call here in a second
that could come get your dog?
- Okay.
And if that person that comes to pick up your dog is sober,
I can give you some tickets and release you to them tonight.
I'll work on getting your dog to a safe place.
If it's her first DWI, and she can get a sober person here,
she'll get some tickets and she'll be released tonight.
But if she can't find anybody,
she'll go to the Camden County Jail
on a 12-hour hold just 'til she sobers up.
- Hi, buddy.
Oh, such a good boy.
[light music]
Oh, good puppy.
It's okay. I know.
I know. It's scary.
Yeah, it's okay.
Yeah. Ohh!
My dog's gonna be super jealous when I get home,
smelling you, like, "Who you hanging out with?"
Oh, so excited.
- [Driver] I'm sorry, man.
- [Lackey] Do you know where your buddy lives
that's coming to pick you up?
- [Lackey] Okay, so not too long.
Do you have any questions for me?
- [Lackey] I know. I don't think you're a bad person.
I think you just made a bad choice tonight.
- [Huff] I get it.
But it's not the end of the world.
It feels like it right now. You know?
Did you ever get in trouble in school?
- Right.
- Chewing gum? (bleep).
- [Lackey] What? - What school did you go to?
- Oh my gosh. That teacher must've had it out for you.
[driver laughing]
But did you let that detention
impact the rest of your high school career?
- [Driver] No. - No?
So don't let this one thing impact the rest of your life.
It's just one bad night.
- [Huff] There you go.
- Can I empathize with her? Absolutely.
But that doesn't mean that she didn't make a bad decision
and put other motorists at risk tonight.
There's a lot of different ride share apps out there.
So I say all the time that proper planning
prevents poor performance.
Oh-ho!
When I grew up out here,
I had a pretty severe drinking problem.
But thankfully, after I got out of the military,
I met my wife I have now.
And yesterday was my three year sobriety day.
And I haven't looked back.
Next to joining the military,
quitting alcohol was the best decision I've made in my life.
[pensive music]
[upbeat music]
[crowd chattering]
โช Uh, three mill
โช 100 kills
โช Call of Duty
โช Got a will, hey, hey, hey
โช Hey, yo, hey, yo
I can't freestyle. [laughing]
[indistinct]
- Saturday after The Shootout,
the people that were out on the water
having a good time coming down to The Strip
to continue having a good time.
- Slap that, ah.
- Now they can let loose a little bit.
All these establishments, people waiting to get inside.
It's probably gonna get filled up here more than normal.
[upbeat music] [crowd cheering]
[horn honking]
- So we'll see if people are gonna mind their Ps and Qs
or if they're just gonna go all out
because they had to play nice throughout the whole day.
[upbeat music]
[tense music]
- Okay.
So is he 86? What's going on?
- Hey.
- No, I get it.
No, no, no. I'm not walking away.
- No, no.
[tense music]
[pensive music]
Are you guys done discussing world problems?
- Are you guys done discussing the world problems
and how to fix world hunger?
- All right, I appreciate it, guys.
Thank you.
There were some people behind the fence
having a little bit of fun.
But now we're standing here,
making sure that both people that are coming out of there
are consenting adults.
Not just one person coming out.
Just to make sure everybody's safe.
What do we think, Chief? 30 seconds and then go back?
[light music]
- There's two.
Both people walked out, smiles on their face.
So, adults. - [Boren] Yep.
- [laughs] Enjoying the weather.
- They are gonna go home with a story.
[both laughing]
[people chattering]
- Well, here we are.
We've made it through The Shootout weekend.
- Oh, (bleep).
- We can take a little bit of a deep breath.
Our hope is that the rest of the summer
goes just as smooth as we made this weekend go.
- [laughs] Thanks. Appreciate it.
Maybe they'll give me a raise, huh?
