[The Blossoming Love]

[Episode 9]

You told Elder Cang you were unwell and unable to greet the guests?

A troubled heart is still an illness.

Telling me to greet the Immortal Alliance members makes me unhappy.

Isn't that also being unwell?

It makes sense.

Then why are you here to observe?

Know yourself, know your enemy, and you'll win a hundred battles.

Till now, you're still so wary?

I'm a spirit with demonic power.

I don't dare to expect them to show me any sympathy.

As for you, why didn't you go to the Hall of Righteousness?

I'm not from Immortal Alliance and don't need to join in the fun.

They're here.

Welcome, Venerable Fa Jian and Venerable Yi Nian from Suspended Sky Sect.

Please.

I heard this sect advocates tough asceticism, determination, and

practices the Heart Sutra which can dispel inner demons and specializes in defeating the Dark Clan.

Do you think they'll notice my demonic energy?

With the runes that I painted on you with spiritual ink,

it won't be detected under normal circumstances.

What about unusual circumstances?

It will depend on your luck.

But compared to the Suspended Sky Sect, I don't want to see her.

Welcome, Palace Master Su of Mirage Palace.

Please.

It's proven that enemies always meet on a narrow path.

Cultivator Gao and you had a feud at Bright Moon Villa.

[Bright Moon Villa]

Bad news! Sang Qi's army is attacking the villa. Run now!

Switch your clothes with Eldest Young Miss immediately!

She is of noble birth.

Dying in her place is the greatest honor

a lowly slave like you could ever have!

It's just some old stories about wicked masters and slaves.

Young Master Nan is noble, kind and pure. There's no need for you to listen to such filth.

From our first meeting, I caught a glimpse

of your past tough life.

Stop. No need to pity me.

It's unnecessary.

I didn't intend to pity you.

If you can't be beaten, stand up and reclaim everything.

This is how it should be in this world.

- Elder Cang. - Island Master He.

We last met at Spirit Osprey Island. You're still distinguished as before.

Elder Cang, I trust you've been well. [Jiang Li]

Please.

Island Master He Xianwo of Spirit Osprey Island seems like a carefree person.

I heard he loves adopting spirit beasts.

Wouldn't he clash with Su Ningzhen if they meet?

In fact, they're already at odds.

That's great.

Su Ningzhen is very disgusting.

Someone needs to deal with her.

Each of the Floating Cloud Sky Boats of Jade Sky Palace is more luxurious than the others.

Palace Master Fu. Elder Duan. We're honored by your presence at our humble place.

Please.

How did this married couple, Fu Yuanting and Duan Xiaorong, find ways to make money?

- This way, please. - Look at him.

Every item he wears

is a Celestial Artifact or an extremely rare treasure. [Fu Lansheng]

Walking around like that, [Young Palace Master of Jade Sky Palace]

who wouldn't want to rob him?

He's the Young Palace Master of Jade Sky Palace, Fu Lansheng.

Mother!

I'm going to have fun.

Go ahead.

He has another "Greatest in the World" title.

Nan Xuyue!

Young Palace Master Fu.

I heard you were also at Snow City. Hence, I came with them.

The beauty beside you is unfamiliar.

She's Mu Xuanling, a new disciple in Snow City.

This is Young Palace Master Fu.

Hello, Miss Mu.

For a moment, I thought she was Cultivator Gao.

Cultivator Gao that you mentioned, is she...

The legendary top beauty of Immortal Alliance, Gao Qiumin of Mirage Palace.

It's hard to imagine she's more beautiful than you.

Both are beautiful, just different styles.

Are you also a cultivator?

Of course! Can't you tell?

I'm at the Golden Essence level.

If you run into any trouble, you can seek my help.

Nan Xuyue's friend is also my friend.

It's our first meeting as friends. I didn't prepare any gifts.

I collected these artifacts recently. They are suitable for women.

Do you like them?

These are Celestial Artifacts.

These are not a big deal. I've more at home.

Jade Sky Palace is unmatched in wealth.

Young Palace Master Fu is the richest man in the world.

Since he insists on giving them to you, accept them.

Please accept them.

Father!

What's that sound?

- Father! - What's that sound?

It's... from my spirit beast.

What kind of spirit beast calls out "Father"?

Are you my father?

Come out!

Let her come out.

Come out.

Father!

Are you my father?

She... She lost her father.

I think it's quite clear that I'm a human.

Mother said my father is the richest cultivator in the world.

But my money comes from my parents.

That means the richest cultivator in the world must be my father.

Older Brother!

Many people call me Older Brother but yours sounds the sweetest.

Come, I'll give you a first-meeting gift.

These artifacts are suitable for the Spirit Clan.

Why do you have artifacts from the Spirit Clan?

My family has 3,000 Spirit Clan members.

Your family has 3,000 spirit slaves?

No.

They are my good friends. We often play together.

Little one, what's your father's name?

- I'll help you to ask around when I'm back. - Fu Cangli.

Fu Cangli? This name sounds like someone from Jade Sky Palace.

I'll keep an eye out.

I'm leaving.

Both of you...

Farewell to the three of you.

No need to see me out.

I get it now.

You wanted to say earlier that he's the world's greatest sucker. Right?

Excuse me...

The Sect Leaders are discussing matters in there.

Thank you.

It seems she must be the legendary Cultivator Gao.

Such elegance and grace.

Compared to Miss Mu, there's not much difference.

Quiet and composed, a perfect match for Young City Lord Xie.

Why does he keep looking at me?

Seeing a beauty shouldn't warrant such exaggeration.

Forget it. I represent Mirage Palace when I'm outside.

I won't argue with him.

Such elegance. She has the bearing of the wife of a Young City Lord.

Young City Lord Xie, I wonder why you asked us to gather here. Is there something urgent?

Where is the Alliance Leader?

Seniors...

Snow City is in distress.

The Alliance Leader...

was murdered.

How could this happen?

Who did this?

It must be Sang Qi and Decaying Immortal Pavilion.

Decaying Immortal Pavilion?

Decaying Immortal Pavilion conspired with Sang Qi.

They once stole Mirage Palace's jade token

and also murdered the Alliance Leader due to this.

Their goal is to seize all the jade tokens.

Has anyone noticed anything unusual in your sects recently?

No unusual activity was detected.

May I ask where the jade token of Snow City is now?

The enemy didn't succeed.

The jade token is still in Snow City.

I've always said we should attack the Dark Domain first

and kill those filthy creatures.

The Dark Clan is immortal.

Charging in recklessly will not guarantee victory.

That's true. We must proceed cautiously.

If the Immortal Alliance suffers too many losses, it's not worth it.

Sang Qi staged a comeback to seize the Chaos Pearl

and to open the Ten Thousand Immortal Barrier.

The urgent task now is to elect a new Alliance Leader

and entrust him with safeguarding the Chaos Pearl.

Young Master Xie...

Young City Lord Xie, you are recognized as the brightest star of the Immortal Alliance.

I think you can bear this responsibility.

I was attacked at Two Realms Mountain while repairing the Ten Thousand Immortal Barrier,

and was trapped in the Lava Abyss for seven days.

My injuries were serious. I've yet to regain my spiritual power.

Given the urgent situation, I fear I can't bear this responsibility.

All it takes is your word,

and Jade Sky Palace will immediately hire the world's renowned physician to treat you.

Also, Jade Sky Palace has the most secure vault.

We can safeguard the Chaos Pearl.

The situation is urgent now. There's no time for delay.

Besides, when did Jade Sky Palace really care about the Immortal Alliance's important affairs?

Su Ningzhen, be blunt if you intend to fight for the Alliance Leader's post.

Why bother to mock Jade Sky Palace here?

Fine, I'll be blunt.

The one guarding the Two Realms Mountain pass and fending off invaders

has always been Mirage Palace.

The only one to lose the jade token was also Mirage Palace.

I fear you won't be able to guard anything if you become the Alliance Leader.

He Xianwo, you spend all day with the Spirit Clan.

I fear you've already forgotten your identity!

You both, there's no need for this. Calm down.

The path of faith is compassionate!

Venerable Fa Jian, he insulted Mirage Palace first.

I had no choice but to take action.

Since Venerable Fa Jian has spoken, I won't stop telling the facts.

Six thousand years ago,

our predecessor, Lord Qian Guang, established the Immortal Alliance

to resolve differences and unite against external threats.

Alliance Leader Xie just passed away.

The enemy is still hidden in the shadows and

you're already falling apart?

It seems there'll be no conclusion today.

For the next few days,

please stay here and consider the candidates for the post of Alliance Leader.

We'll set another day to hold the election.

Within the Immortal Alliance, I was the closest to Daocheng.

Now that he's gone, I've lost a drinking companion too.

I think Xuechen has his suspicions.

Thus, he didn't say anything and called us to Snow City.

Naturally, you're on the list of City Lord Xie's suspects.

Now that he's the city lord, he can't easily trust anyone.

This is how it should be.

If Daocheng could see this, he'd be comforted.

Why aren't you fighting for the Alliance Leader's post?

Why let Su Ningzhen act so arrogantly?

Why bother fighting for such a burdensome post?

I live far away on Spirit Osprey Island because I don't want

to be troubled by such trivial matters.

Fighting for it just to deal with Su Ningzhen isn't worth it.

This way, please.

[Courtyard of Saints]

Palace Master Su and the rest of the cultivators can rest in this courtyard.

Please.

This way, please.

Qiumin.

Master.

Why are you in a daze?

I... I just didn't expect Alliance Leader Xie to have been murdered.

Many incidents happened recently.

As the Young Palace Master of Mirage Palace, how can you be so timid?

Qiumin, you need to cultivate not just your skills but determination, too.

I understand, Master.

When I become the Alliance Leader,

you must also have the ability to take over Mirage Palace.

If someone didn't know better, they would think the Immortal Alliance is disbanding.

When my father was around, I barely asked about the Immortal Alliance's matters.

Now that I've seen it,

I realize the Immortal Alliance can be this ridiculous.

You didn't join the Immortal Alliance because of this reason, too. Isn't that so?

This is where we are different.

I can watch and do nothing for annoying matters.

As for you, you can't help but try to fix them.

Hence, I can have a carefree life at Profound Excellence Villa

while you're left in the bitter cold, bound and alone.

Alliance Leader Xie was at the Spiritual Form stage.

Whoever could kill him must be among them.

You're pretending your spiritual power hasn't been restored to lure the traitor out,

but they might not fall for it.

There should be an assassination attempt during these few days.

I'm waiting for them.

When will you start worrying about your life?

If you die,

I might actually... feel a little sad.

I'll try not to die.

Senior Brother. Senior Brother!

What are your thoughts on this matter?

You should have...

Senior Brother, even if it's for the people in this world,

you should become the Alliance Leader.

When it comes to determination, I'm not as strong as City Lord Xie.

When it comes to cultivation, I am far weaker.

How can you know without fighting him?

City Lord Xie may be born with ten apertures but he's still young.

Can he really compare to you with your 500 years of cultivation?

City Lord Xie's faith is pure and his sword heart untainted.

As for me... my heart is filled with distractions.

I am unworthy of the position.

- Senior Brother... - Master.

Master, the Sect Leader is tired. Let him rest for now.

Xuan Xin, you call me Master but you always side with the Sect Leader.

You shouldn't hold me back. You should persuade him.

The Sect Leader has his ideas.

Other people shouldn't impose their will on him.

Other people? Are you saying I'm "other people"?

Yes. I'm "other people," too.

You...

I shouldn't have taken you in back then,

to avoid being infuriated by you.

What's done is done.

Master, it's too late for regrets.

I planned to have fun here. I didn't expect the Alliance Leader to be murdered.

These scoundrels are too bold and took actions in Snow City.

- If I catch them, I'll ... - What will you do?

It's not the time for you to show off and become a hero.

Before reaching the Spiritual Form stage, make sure to keep yourself alive.

Your battlefield is a century from now.

You'll be the Alliance Leader of Immortal Alliance in the future.

Mother, aren't you thinking too highly of me?

Who am I?

City Lord Xie has a divine presence, good swordsmanship,

and has been unrivaled for centuries.

Even if he isn't the current Alliance Leader, he'll be the next.

And he's still young.

He can hold the position for at least a few hundred years.

What do you know?

The Spiritual Form stage has a lifespan of a thousand years

but how many can really live till the end of it?

And as for Xie Xuechen's swordsmanship, it's a force of pure devastation.

"If I can't survive, we'll perish together".

They leave no path of retreat.

It's not sustainable.

Who knows?

If you live long enough, you won't even need to fight for it.

You can simply outlast all your opponents.

Are you saying my greatest value is simply to survive?

I don't agree.

Father is still more reliable.

Son, your greatest value is to marry a powerful girl with authority from Mirage Palace.

A young madam who can hold her ground.

In this way, Jade Sky Palace can continue to thrive.

- Father... - Fu Yuanting!

Your tricks can work on me but you even want to corrupt my son?

My tricks?

Didn't you choose me because you wanted to give birth to a handsome son?

You wanted a husband with a handsome face.

We're on the same level.

If I'd known earlier your looks would have faded so quickly,

I might have chosen someone else.

See? You finally admitted it.

- You're still thinking about that person? - Who?

Who else could I have in mind? What has it to do with you?

I'm about to be betrayed by my wife! Of course, it matters to me...

Father. Mother. I'm still here.

- Get out! - Get out!

Well...

Young Palace Master, this...

A top-grade nephrite!

Palace Master and Elder are planning the future development

and expansion strategy for Jade Sky Palace behind closed doors.

So... carry on with your business.

Everything's fine.

It's hard for a married couple to get along.

Marriage?

Only a fool would get married.

[Swirling Snow Pavilion]

[Swirling Snow Pavilion]

This person isn't at the Spiritual Form stage.

With his power, he couldn't have killed Father.

It seems the real culprit is still in the shadows.

As expected of Xie Xuechen.

Even without drawing his sword and with only 40% of his spiritual power,

it's something ordinary cultivators can't achieve.

You both are too violent late in the night.

The bed collapsed.

Your friend?

He looks terrifying.

- You... - No need to chase after him.

Let him go back and report.

You and Nan Xuyue planned this

to show your weakness to lure the enemy.

How despicable.

You should include me in this plan.

You? Forget it.

You should be very good with this kind of despicable tactic.

You're back home in Snow City and you're still attacked by others.

How was it? Good thing I arrived in time, right?

Snow City's jade token isn't in their hands. They won't kill me now.

They're here to test how much of my spiritual power has been regained.

I'm a busybody again.

If I didn't come earlier, how did you plan to end this assassination scene?

Based on the plan, I'd be injured and send out a desperate distress call.

The elders and disciples would come to fend him off.

It's those life-threatening strategies again.

Where's the sword I gave you?

Didn't you say you wanted to be an ordinary person?

Why are you still carrying the demonic vines?

City Lord Xie, my swordsmanship is terrible.

If I brought a sword to save you, the assassin would have laughed to death.

Also, aren't you too quick to scold me before clarifications?

I should thank you then.

Once I do, can I scold you?

It's late at night. What are you doing here?

Your lying skills have improved too fast.

You're so busy as the City Lord that

you don't even have time to teach swordsmanship to your disciples.

But as a disciple of Snow City, protecting the City Lord is an unshakable duty.

Is there a need to be suspicious?

Stop looking at me like that.

You've a guilty conscience.

You're right.

There are many bad things I want to do.

But tonight...

Tonight, I suddenly wanted to see you.

Xie Xuechen, I haven't seen you for a day. I missed you.

City Lord Xie,

am I beautiful?

Appearances are illusions. Only bones will remain after a century.

You only think that people are good or evil, strong or weak.

But do you know how I think differently about people?

There's Xie Xuechen...

and then, the rest.

Mu Xuanling, how dare you!

Instead of staying in your quarters late in the night,

you sneaked out and disturbed City Lord.

You created trouble and affected City Lord and your fellow disciples' rest.

You're setting a bad example.

Do you realize your mistake?

Yes, yes.

I'll go back and reflect on my mistake.

City Lord, your bed breaks too easily.

Get a sturdier bed next time.

Are you crazy?!

Mu Xuanling!

You...

City Lord... Xuechen, you and her...

Well...

The bed couldn't handle much force.

I really should get a sturdier bed.

- I... - It's late.

Elder, take a rest.

This...

Senior Brother Daocheng, the sect suffered a misfortune and Snow City is tarnished.

I didn't supervise properly. It's all my fault.

Your Grace.

What do you think of the human realm?

The human realm doesn't seem different from the Dark Domain.

The strength of their inner demons even surpasses the Dark Clan.

If you can notice this, why can't she?

Your Grace, are you referring to the Saintess?

She has spent too much time on the Human Clan.

Decaying Immortal Pavilion sent a message.

Xie Xuechen has yet to regain his full spiritual power.

Go to Snow City and seize the Chaos Pearl.

Deliver it to me.

If anyone stands in your way, kill them!

Understood.

Young Master Nan, who sent you a love letter by the Paper Swallow Messenger?

Which young lady is that?

If Feng Yao learns someone called her a young lady, she'd be displeased.

I told Feng Yao to investigate the situation at Decaying Immortal Pavilion.

They completely disappeared after the chaos at Mirage Palace.

It's not strange.

But they've been active in the human realm

and took in many humans and spirits.

It seems someone must have noticed them.

Indeed.

Feng Yao found a Spirit Clan member in a town near Jade Sky Palace.

He claimed to have seen members of the Decaying Immortal Pavilion.

He described the leader as a young man in his twenties

with exceptional grace.

Another was wearing a black mask

but from the sound of his voice, he was also a young man.

He addressed the leader as Pavilion Master.

Wearing a black mask?

It's obvious he doesn't want others to know his real identity.

Why did the Pavilion Master of Decaying Immortal Palace dare to show his real face?

Perhaps he's fearless.

Decaying Immortal Pavilion has operated for many years.

Eliminating them completely won't be an easy task.

Decaying Immortal Pavilion is still at large.

Sang Qi should be out of seclusion by now.

What will be his next move?

The breath of the Dark Clan...

I didn't expect so many delusional people in the Immortal Alliance.

Excellent.

This body is too weak.

It's time to select another better puppet.

Older Sister! Older Sister!

What's wrong, A'Bao?

There's... There's something scary nearby.

It's similar to what was in Young Master Nan's home that day.

The Dark Clan?

Which direction?

South... Southeast.

Stay here and look after A'Bao.

She's timid. If she sees the Dark Clan, she'll be scared to death.

I'm going to check.

- Are you going alone? - I, alone, will suffice.

You must have sensed it.

I'm going to see City Lord Xie.

Xuan Xin, take the disciples and set up an array.

Find the Dark Clan and eliminate them.

Understood.

It's been a while. The killing intent of the Saintess is as strong.

I wondered who was so ignorant and reckless.

Turns out it's you, Ignorance Shadow.

After many years of fighting, this is not the first time I've killed you.

Get used to it.

His Grace told me to deliver a message to you.

You have acted as a good person for too long. Did you forget who you are?

You set out with His Grace's mission, and have yet to take action.

His Grace can't help but suspect...

you have other intentions.

Since Master has told you everything,

you should know I have my own plans.

I hate people meddling in what I do. Same for Master, too.

As for you, you've lesser rights.

Stop!

You're vile. You even dare to harm the innocent!

Cultivator, please save me!

I discovered her demonic power. She wants to silence me!

Gao Qiumin, are you stupid?

He's possessed by the Dark Clan!

Snow City has protective barriers. How could the Dark Clan possibly enter?

Move aside!

I shouldn't have hidden it for you.

Spirit Clan's demonic cultivators are indeed evil!

Gao Qiumin, Immortal Alliance is full of fools. You're one of the best.

What are you trying to do?

Gao Qiumin, I'll settle old and new scores with you today!

A curse?

Did someone from the Dark Clan really intrude?

Did I misjudge her?

Suspended Sky Sect's Curse...

It seems anyone who practices demonic power...

cannot escape their curse...

I found it.

I won.

You killed your own kind and

stepped over their bloodied corpses to arrive at this position.

If they didn't die, I would have died.

Since only one person can survive, it can only be me.

Not bad.

Impressive.

[Temple of Divine Execution]

My dear disciple, tell me.

You fought desperately to live. What do you desire?

I want revenge.

They killed the only person in this world who was kind

and gave warmth to me.

I want power...

enough power to take revenge on the Immortal Alliance!

I want revenge!

[Temple of Divine Execution]

Remember this. The more pain you endure, the stronger you'll become.

You won.

From today, you're no longer just my disciple,

You're also the Saintess of the Dark Domain.
