[The Blossoming Love]

[Episode 11]

Since everyone has such confidence in me, I will not decline.

The Suspended Sky Sect will do its best to safeguard the Chaos Pearl.

Congratulations, Alliance Leader.

The new Alliance Leader has been chosen. All sect leaders,

please bring the jade tokens to the Pearl Tower tomorrow at noon.

Snow City will hand over the Chaos Pearl

to Suspended Sky Sect for safekeeping.

Master's wish to become the Alliance Leader has fallen through.

She must be furious.

It's best to avoid her now and wait until she has cooled down.

As for the mistake I made in helping the Dark Clan,

Mu Xuanling and Xie Xuechen didn't reveal it.

They have integrity.

Frustrated in love, strong in front of people, crying in private...

Cultivator Gao can endure in private.

Cultivator Gao.

Cultivator Fu,

what brings you here?

I accidentally got sand in my eyes.

You must be laughing.

Using sand as an excuse to hide her sorrow,

she clearly doesn't want others to look down on her.

I shouldn't expose her.

It's fine. Let me blow it for you.

Don't move. It will be fine.

You're smart to understand what I mean.

Venerable Fa Jian may look young but he's more than 500 years old.

He's quite advanced in age.

By letting him be the Alliance Leader, our son can take over the post sooner.

You don't need to remind me of such a simple calculation.

Good boy!

How did they get entangled with each together?

It has been a few days and our son's flirting habit is back.

Who allowed you to criticize my son?

He can flirt with whomever he wants.

All right.

But, Dear, our house is already filled with beauties.

It's still not enough?

If this continues, Jade Sky Palace might be renamed as

"The House of Blossoms."

That's because I had the ability to give birth to our son.

Feeling better now?

Much better. Thank you, Cultivator Fu.

The acting is really realistic.

By the way...

My eye makeup...

It isn't messed up.

You still look stunning.

Did you resolve yesterday's matter?

You mean the matter with Mu Xuanling?

I gave her an artifact.

Logically, the matter should be closed.

A single artifact can even buy affection.

Eternal love really doesn't exist in this world.

Talking about this, Gao Qiumin really meets the standards of a young madam.

Too bad she's already taken. Isn't she engaged to City Lord Xie?

How could our son flirt with City Lord Xie's wife under his nose?

If they find out, Jade Sky Palace will be disgraced.

- This child... - So what?

They are not married. Even so, they can always get a divorce.

What's wrong with remarrying?

What did you say?

Why does this sound like a hint directed at me?

Have you been planning to divorce me all along?

I've never thought about it.

- You reminded me. - Duan Xiaorong, you...

All right, you're highly skilled. Good for you!

Fine, let's see who will live longer.

When you're old and bedridden, I'll... I'll stop your medicine!

Cultivator Gao, no need to be upset.

Since City Lord Xie has wronged you, there's no need to stick to the engagement.

Just find someone better.

Hold on!

You said I have an engagement with whom?

Cultivator Gao, no need to hide this anymore. I understand.

You're engaged to City Lord Xie but he has fallen for Miss Mu.

- It's truly heartbreaking. - Stop! Don't talk nonsense!

Who said I'm engaged to Xie Xuechen?

I wondered why you were acting strange for the past two days and kept talking to me.

Let me tell you, Cultivator Fu. I'm not engaged to Xie Xuechen!

He can like whoever he wants. It has nothing to do with me.

Don't make wild guesses!

Also, Xie Xuechen is not an immoral person.

It's not nice to talk behind his back.

Ridiculous!

What lovely weather; sunny and bright!

Quite pleasant.

Are you saying all leaders, elders, and trusted disciples

of every sect in Immortal Alliance have inner demons

which makes it impossible to tell who has been possessed by the Dark Clan?

This includes the sect leaders, my master, and also you.

Regarding this conclusion, I can't judge if it's true or not.

Did you notice anything unusual from yesterday until today?

Unusual?

Yes.

What kind of unusual?

I don't want to jump to conclusions and would rather investigate further.

Do you think he will find anything?

Probably not, but it doesn't matter.

After all, today's meditation and observation

are for those hidden people to think we've run out of options.

I'm somewhat curious. Do you have inner demons, too?

You weren't at the Hall of Righteousness earlier.

I'm also somewhat curious if you have them, too.

Tomorrow is the handover of the Chaos Pearl.

Are you ready?

There's no perfect plan in this world, only our best efforts.

The same old phrase...

don't die.

Master.

You've never been materialistic since childhood.

Even if your clothes are torn, you don't know how to mend them.

Who will look after you if I'm not around?

What is it? Do you have something to say?

Yes.

Sit down and talk.

Master, was the seal you gave me last night really just a seal?

Brat, you actually suspect your master?

One must clarify when there are doubts in our hearts.

Otherwise, once doubt arises, even the strongest and highest dam can collapse overnight.

This is also what you taught me.

I didn't teach you to make me angry.

To answer your question, it's just a seal.

No tricks were involved.

If it's really just a seal, what is your obsession, Master?

If you must know my obsession,

it was simply to see our sect leader become the Alliance Leader.

My wish came true. There's nothing left to dwell on.

Do you believe my words?

I do.

Sometimes, I think I've taught you to be too pure.

You'll be easily deceived.

It's good to learn from failure.

You're the only one among my disciples who has achieved enlightenment

without consciously striving for it.

Since you've achieved it, you won't have inner demons.

Xuan Xin, your enlightenment has surpassed mine.

[Hall of Heritage]

Since the new Alliance Leader has been chosen,

the Chaos Pearl will be handed over tomorrow.

Although you've only been with the sect for a short time,

the upcoming invasion of our enemy, the Dark Clan, requires us to strengthen our defenses.

You'll accompany me to Pearl Tower tomorrow

and guard it together.

- Understood! - Understood!

All right, the rest of you can leave now.

- Thank you, Elder! - Thank you, Elder!

Mu Xuanling.

Look at you, you're so distracted.

Did you bother City Lord in the middle of the night again?

What should I do with you?

Don't think just because he protects you, I won't criticize you.

It's the most dangerous time now. Danger lurks at every corner.

City Lord is very busy. Can't you restrain yourself?

Besides, you have a heavy class workload.

Stop wasting time thinking about nonsense.

Understand?

Yes.

You must listen and do it.

Go back and sleep. A good sleep will give you more energy.

As a disciple of Snow City, how can you be so dispirited?

Junior Sister Xuanling!

Senior Sister.

I felt bad about disturbing you when Elder Cang was here.

What's the matter?

We have a mission tomorrow and the enemy remains hidden.

Who knows what might happen?

Stick close to me tomorrow. I'll protect you if anything happens.

By the way, I saved this artifact.

It strengthens shields. Be sure to keep it with you.

If I'm not mistaken, you're younger than I.

But I joined the sect earlier than you. You're the junior sister.

Why did you join Snow City?

There was a crack in Ten Thousand Immortal Barrier ten years ago.

The Dark Clan emerged and killed everyone in my village.

So, you cultivate to seek revenge?

No.

Before my parents died, they told me "Don't live with hatred."

Hatred can also breed the Dark Clan.

Let's not talk about this. I'm going back to prepare.

You should go back now and prepare, too.

Tomorrow is an important day.

Take care. I'm leaving.

[Hall of Heritage]

What a worthless artifact. It's kind of cute though.

So, Cultivator Gao is not interested in City Lord Xie. They're not engaged.

I even advised her not to be upset over his closeness with Miss Mu.

I believe she thinks I'm a major fool.

You seem to care so much.

Could it be... you want to be friends with Cultivator Gao?

It's good to have more friends.

You're very kind to every girl.

No wonder Palace Master Fu said you're a playboy.

He said that about me?

In the early years, it was he who relied on his good looks to flirt with women.

As for you, are you still searching for that dream girl after all these years?

Maybe... I've already found her.

You have? Who is she?

It's just a feeling. I haven't confirmed it yet.

Once you've confirmed it, tell me immediately.

Why are you more anxious than I am?

I'm just curious!

Make it quick. Don't make me wait for too long.

I don't want to wait for too long either.

[Swirling Snow Pavilion]

The moon isn't even full tonight.

What are you looking at out here?

When did you get here?

When the moon was out.

Have you been here the whole time?

I was thinking about something but I just couldn't figure it out.

What were you thinking about?

I left the mountain today, went to a town,

and sat in a tea house by the street all afternoon.

Why?

I wanted to see the world you're so determined to protect.

And how was it?

After sitting there all afternoon,

I saw 32 two married couples passing by. Only a few held hands.

- What are you looking at? - Five of them were arguing.

A total of 123 customers were at the food stall.

Nine children bought candied hawthorns and ten elderly people visited the pharmacy.

The boss of the jewelry shop next door was a bit shady.

He sold the same hairpin to one customer for sixty coins,

and to the next customer for ninety coins.

There was a gambling house on the other side. [Gambling House]

Many people entered and exited. Only a few winners exited.

Three people who lost everything were thrown out. [Great Fortune Gambling House]

If you've lost everything, don't come back!

There was also a petty thief who stole someone's life savings.

There were many people passing by the street.

No one saw the injustice and stepped out to help him.

Xie Xuechen, I think you're not the only one who's boring. The entire human realm is very boring.

Day after day, people bow and scape for a few lousy taels of silver.

The so-called promises of love fall apart under the weight of daily struggles.

Most couples grow to resent each other.

Desires run wild, and greed knows no bounds.

It's clearly a trap and they still jumped in.

Good people may not enjoy a good family life till old age.

Bad people may not get retribution, either.

In short, it's the hypocrisy of the world where evil triumphs over the good.

Those who are numb, refuse to come to their senses. Those who came to their senses, might not change.

Those who change might not gain anything,

and those who gain something will forget to cherish it.

This is your conclusion after half a day?

The human realm is boring, cold, mediocre...

And it deserves it.

Do you think I'm unaware of what you and Nan Xuyue are planning?

You're in the open and

Dark Clan and Decaying Immortal Pavilion hide in the shadows.

If you're not proactive, you'll always be passive.

Thus, you want to use the handover of the Chaos Pearl

to lure the enemies out. Isn't that so?

Yes.

Ignorance Shadow has come.

He's the cruelest among the three Shadows...

and a tough opponent.

Even so, we still have to deal with them.

Xie Xuechen,

will Immortal Alliance be stable after tomorrow?

No.

Will the human realm become better?

Probably not.

Why are you still charging ahead?

Why not let them fend for themselves?

Do you think the human realm is a chaotic mess?

Obviously.

Have you seen a sliver of hope in this chaos?

Just a tiny bit.

What kind of lousy hope is this?

Even if there's a sliver of hope, it's not the time to give up.

Just like that day when I brought you to Snow City.

Didn't you say you wanted to leave the Dark Domain and live an ordinary life?

I brought you to Snow City because I believed you.

You can live like an ordinary person here,

train with them, enjoy life,

without killing, looting, brewing wine with poisonous flowers,

and sleeping with a blade by your side.

Belief makes it possible.

Mu Xuanling, you can't understand the human realm in half a day.

If there's an opportunity one day, I'll show you the real human realm.

♫ A lovesick person won't ask ♫

♫ how long the path is ♫

♫ They'll brave the wind and snow through the fleeting years ♫

♫ Not regretting the encounter ♫

Whether it's ten years ago or ten years later,

you still haven't changed.

You're still foolish to sacrifice yourself for a stranger.

♫ As long as I'm by your side ♫

Xie Xuechen,

has anyone told you that you live such an idealistic life?

So idealistic that it makes people want to...

Want to do what?

♫ They'll brave the wind and snow through the fleeting years ♫

♫ Not regretting the encounter ♫

♫ I only wish for a thousand peach blossoms ♫

Xie Xuechen, I want to see the real human realm with you.

♫ I desire nothing else ♫

But unfortunately,

if I protect your human realm...

I'll lose my future.

Forget it.

This damn human realm,

let it have another chance.

♫ They'll brave the wind and snow through the fleeting years ♫

♫ Not regretting the encounter ♫

♫ I only wish for a thousand peach blossoms ♫

♫ To accompany you that day ♫

I'm leaving.

See you tomorrow.

♫ I'll live a life without regrets or worries ♫

♫ As long as I'm by your side ♫

Xie Xuechen, what's wrong with you?

How could you...

Something seems to be wrong with her today.

Forget it.

Let's talk again tomorrow if she's willing to tell me.

The human realm... hope...

Xie Xuechen, I'll guard for you whatever you want to protect.

Sang Qi's unwilling to tell me where Ignorance Shadow and Decaying Immortal Pavilion are.

He must be wary of me.

We'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Ignorance Shadow will take action.

Once I locate him, I'll take the opportunity to capture him.

The succession ceremony begins!

After my father passed away, Immortal Alliance was without a leader.

All beings have been restless.

The five sects jointly decided Venerable Fa Jian of the Suspended Sky Sect

will assume the post of Alliance Leader.

Venerable Fa Jian, please.

The late Alliance Leader Xie Daocheng and I were old friends.

I know he cared deeply about the people and

worked tirelessly to ensure the stability of Immortal Alliance.

Henceforth, I will devote myself wholeheartedly

and continue to prioritize the welfare of the people,

maintain the prestige of Immortal Alliance and stabilize it.

On behalf of Snow City, I congratulate the new Alliance Leader.

Please allow me to open the seal on the Pearl Tower for you.

Please follow me.

You'll only need to place the jade tokens in it to activate the artifact

and retrieve the Chaos Pearl.

I thought this tower was merely a container for the Chaos Pearl.

I didn't expect the tower to be an artifact.

That's right.

My father knew someone had been coveting the Chaos Pearl

swearing to throw the world into chaos.

To ensure its safety, he poured all his knowledge...

into transforming the tower into an artifact.

Xuanling, look!

That's the Chaos Pearl!

It's my first time seeing it too. It's so beautiful.

It's truly worthy of being an ancient artifact.

The Chaos Pearl has left the Pearl Tower.

The enemies are watching from the shadows.

This is not a place to linger.

We'll escort the Chaos Pearl to the Suspended Sky Sect

and secure it in the Eternal Grotto.

It won't go missing.

Alliance Leader, don't be anxious.

Nan Xuyue!

Everyone, remain calm.

This is the Nine Heavens Hanging Clouds Array specially created by Villa Master Nan for today.

Whether it's the Dark Clan or the traitor in Immortal Alliance,

they cannot escape.

City Lord Xie, what's the meaning of this?

When I entered the Ten Thousand Immortal Barrier to repair it,

I encountered an ambush that was set up in advance by the Dark Clan.

My father, a cultivator at the Spiritual Form stage, was in seclusion in Snow City.

He was silently assassinated.

This means among the Immortal Alliance's top cultivators,

there is a traitor colluding with the Dark Domain.

Dark Clan has invaded and their location remains hidden.

Someone must be helping them hide.

Their goal is the Chaos Pearl.

Although they didn't make any moves till now,

they will take action today.

Alliance Leader and disciples from Suspended Sky Sect,

please use incantation to eliminate the Dark Clan first.

Incantation?

My demonic energy...

No. Xie Xuechen is doing this on purpose.

It's another overt conspiracy to lure the enemy out.

If he was placed in the Dark Domain, he would be a great strategist.

City Lord Xie's reasoning is sound.

My disciples recently used the incantation for an extensive search

but found no traces of the Dark Clan.

If we try again today, the result will still be the same.

This is why I invited everyone to gather here.

My father set up a restriction in Pearl Tower to deal with the Dark Clan.

Villa Master Nan used the Pearl Tower as the core of the array

to activate the Nine Heavens Hanging Clouds Array which can greatly increase the power of the incantation.

Alliance Leader,

please chant the incantation.

Fine.

Ignorance Shadow!

Senior Brother!

Miss Mu!

Venerable Fa Jian has the most stable faith among us.

No one expected a Dark Clan member like you to invade here.

A stable faith?

Cultivators of Immortal Alliance

often believe that high cultivation equates to a stable faith.

You are wrong, completely wrong!

Fa Jian is obsessed with eliminating demons.

But with his advanced age,

he's even more worried about fulfilling his lifelong wish before his death.

The more he rushed to succeed, the more his faith became more unstable.

He's already aware of this but it's too late.

He can't stop being possessed by the demon!

Do you think by controlling Venerable Fa Jian,

you can seize the Chaos Pearl?

Fa Jian has five hundred years of cultivation.

Other than you, everyone here is not his match.

A pity that the once top sword cultivator

now possesses less than forty percent of his spiritual power.

After I eliminate fools like you, it won't be too late to retrieve the Chaos Pearl!

Xie Xuechen!

Miss Mu!

Miss Mu!

Miss Mu...

Why is the demonic energy in her body suddenly fluctuating?

Yi Nian!

- Are you okay? - City Lord Xie,

Senior Brother has been possessed by the demon. I'm powerless to stop him.

These sect leaders should be able to handle him.

City Lord Xie, you've not fully regained your spiritual power.

It's better to hide inside the Pearl Tower for now.

Life and death are unpredictable today

but the Chaos Pearl must never fall into the hands of the Dark Clan.

I'll escort the Chaos Pearl to the Suspended Sky Sect.

The Eternal Grotto can block all evil influences.

It will ensure the Chaos Pearl's safety.

Do you think Immortal Alliance will lose this battle?

That's why you're saying something that's full of flaws?

City Lord Xie, what do you mean?

It was Venerable Fa Jian who discovered the Dark Clan and...

instructed Xuan Xin to lead the disciples to use the incantation to search the city.

This proves he was not possessed by the demon back then.

With Venerable Fa Jian's cultivation level,

Ignorance Shadow couldn't have successfully possessed him in such a short time.

Thus, there's only one possibility.

On that day, a powerful cultivator willingly let Ignorance Shadow hide inside his body.

He later helped Ignorance Shadow.

It seems... it can only be you, Venerable Yi Nian.

You've not fully regained your spiritual power.

So what if you figured it out?

You suspected me for some time, right?

Not exactly.

It was Ignorance Shadow's exposure today that

helped me to piece it together after communicating with you.

You guessed right.

I had an exchange with Senior Brother the night before.

He noticed something unusual about me.

But I was prepared to restrain him with the array

and let Ignorance Shadow ambush him

and slowly control his inner demon.

It took an entire night to finally possess him.

So, it was also you who opened the two-way array

to let Ignorance Shadow into Snow City on that day?

Yes.

You killed my father?

Why did you kill him?

You should know that even if he dies,

he would never hand over Snow City's jade token.

But the Alliance Leader's post will only be vacant with his death.

The post of the Alliance Leader...

- Just because of the post of the Alliance Leader?! - Yes!

I wanted Senior Brother to become the Alliance Leader.

When Venerable Fa Jian declined,

you let Ignorance Shadow possess him to make him agree on his behalf?

If Senior Brother was conscious, he would never have agreed to be the Alliance Leader.

I could only use this method.

City Lord Xie, you are a sensible person.

Immortal Alliance has lost today.

The Chaos Pearl is in my hands now.

Why not open the array in exchange for your life?

Do you think I fear death?

If you don't, why would you tell me all this?

Naturally, it's to make you reveal more.

Since I set this trap today, do you think I'd use the real Chaos Pearl?

While retrieving the Chaos Pearl just now, I prepared a surprise light in advance.

You used the bright light as a cover

to switch to a fake Chaos Pearl to deceive me.

You may not know that

Profound Excellence Villa has a spiritual pearl called the Sound Pearl.

You-You're letting everyone hear our conversation?

After all the speculation, Yi Nian is the traitor!

So what if you all know?

Xie Xuechen's spiritual power is now less than forty percent.

With just a few of you, you can't stop me.

Stop wasting time.

Let's settle this quickly!

- Father! Mother! - Don't come near! - Master!

Boundless Mountain!

This is Fa Jian's ultimate Boundless Mountain.

Once it's unleashed, no one can defeat it.
