He just loved everyone
and he loved how close we were

and somehow, that was
appealing to him. [laughs]

I just wanted to give him
his Sixth Man of the Year,

and his world championship ring,
and a couple other things.

and felt bad that he had this addiction

And I was devastated for my child who,

that was the love of her life,

and she thought that was
her happily ever after

and it didn't work out that way for them.

So, my dream was that me
and Travis and all seven kids

were in the Chevy Impala wagon
going to family dinner.

But two of the kids
didn't end up coming to dinner

and two of the kids
didn't wanna ride in the wagon.

a very different situation.

My experience connecting with Tatum

is so different than
my experience I had with True.

And I do think it was a storm of

either traumas or emotions.

I mean, I knew he was my son
and I loved him and I took care of him,

but I just did not have
that instinctual feeling

that I had with True, instantly.

But I knew I was gonna get there.

I didn't think Tatum
was gonna be five years old

and I would have no attachment to him.

Like, those feelings are not about Tatum.

He is the best, sweetest, most loving boy.

It was the situation
and everything that I went through

and I was more mad at myself
that I couldn't get over it faster.

I never let him know
the difference either way.

And I also felt like it was important
for me to be honest on the show.

I never heard
the other side of surrogacy, like,

"Oh, you don't really feel connected,"

and then you feel ashamed
in admitting that,

where I just was like, "Listen,"

I know my situation had,
like, [softly] cheating

[normal] and other things involved,
so I'm sure mine's layered,

but I wanted people to know
that there's definitely

different ways this can go.

And now we're in
such an incredible place.

He is magical
and has the most beautiful personality.

I swear, he's my dad.

And my dad used to call my mom "Honey."

No one has asked him

because I blacked out a little bit

It was so overwhelming
the amount of emotions I was feeling.

And I do remember there
was a time where Lamar said...

something along the lines like,
"This is a very out-of-body experience."

And then, now that I'm looking back at it,
I'm like, "It-It sort of was."

Like, I almost feel like I was,
like, floating above my body

and I'm not sure--
It was just-- It was overwhelming.

So, basically, when I moved here,

I kept finding all this
random stuff of Lamar's.

So, I just started
putting them in a trunk.

He came over and he was so nervous.

He was mumbling like a [bleep].

- He was like...
- [Khloé and Kim mumbling]

- [laughing] What? You guys.
- [Khloé] And he would talk like...

And I'd go, "Are you, like--
What are you nervous about?

Like, breathe, calm down."

He came in with flowers,

I wasn't on any drugs."

"I was at the hospital.

how long he was there.

I was on one floor delivering
and he was on another floor...

It's tougher when you don't
want your marriage to end

off of, like, your personal reasons,

but circumstances change
that force your marriage to end.

I've been there, Khloé's been there.

And so, when you weren't planning on that

and that's not really
the outcome you want,

but there's no other option,

I think it makes it,
like, harder to get over.

So, how did it end?

Like, was there anything that he talked
about that made you emotional?

The things I went through with him,

it took me so many years to get over that

- and so many years to heal from that...
- Yeah. To heal.

...that I don't think I can allow myself

to ever have my guards
down around him, ever.

I think he said he was sorry

to be my friend again in life.

know what to do with that."

- So, he's coming to Thanksgiving?

And he would gain so much more
out of that friendship than I would gain.

I'm not missing anything.

such a one-way friendship

into dating right now.
