[Drew] ...is why those in his life truly love him.

[Andy] Your garage is just such a great place for you

and the boys to have a place to watch movies.

Just thinking of Julio, my husband.

How much he would appreciate this.

[Andy] We met at Miami Dade Community College,

where we had similar interests.

It was beyond friendship, and he's like my brother.

[Drew] After losing his best friend and fellow actor far too young,

taking care of Julio's family

is a promise Andy plans to keep.

[sawing]

That's intense, that saw.

[Drew] This is the kind of thing she's probably dreamed of doing

for a very long time, but didn't know where to start.

[Linda] What! This is amazing.

[Drew] It's exciting to have you join us.

Us?

Jonathan wanted to be here.

He is sick. He woke up this morning

with no voice.

Jonathan's actually just CG, you know,

there is only one, I just play my own twin.

I played a twin in a movie.

-I see. I see. -What don't you do?

I think you've been nominated for an Academy Award.

Wait, You've won a Grammy as well, right?

I've won the Grammys, the Latin Grammys , yes.

You've played dramatic roles,

you've played comedic roles.

What's your first passion?

Was it acting, or?

As a child, I used to go to the theater

and watch films when I was very young.

All the time.

And they had these things in Miami Beach, where I grew up,

they had these double features for kids,

I tapped into that passion later on, you know.

And it was all because of those early years watching films,

The hero of that time was Sean Connery

and his James Bond.

Later on, I got a chance to work with Sean.

That was the intention, right?

Right, of course.

You do get inspired by people who came before you.

-You know? -Yeah.

Like, if you wanted to be a director, why not?

Learn it from the people.

As Francis Coppola said to me once,

he said, "You steal from the best." You know?

[laughs]

So, you've known Julio since Miami.

Yeah, we met in our first year of college.

[Andy] I was taking acting classes.

He's as great an actor as I've ever worked with,

and I've worked with some great actors, you know.

[Andy] They say like, "A brother from another mother."

Was it a year ago that, unexpectedly, that Julio passed away?

[Andy] No, it's been more than a year.

He was at a party at a neighbor's house here,

and he walked home.

He went to bed and that was it.

He died in his sleep.

[Andy] I always wanted him to be by my side,

-[Andy] you know? -[Drew] Yeah.

[Andy] And those memories, I cherish, you know, all those times together.

I met Linda, obviously when they first started dating in Miami.

So, I've known her and of course, their kids.

[Drew] So, what does Linda need in her house?

Well, they have this garage and this back area.

That could be a great extension for the family.

So, the idea was to to do like a sort of Julio Cave.

Yeah.

For Linda.

[Drew] In their main house they just have one living room?

[Andy] They have one living-- Well, they have a living room.

So now, that would alleviate that part of the house, you know.

Okay, hold on a second.

-[Drew] Is that her? -Yeah.

[Drew] Go ahead. You duck.

[Drew] Yeah, she won't know my vehicle.

[Andy] She won't know. [chuckles]

I have never been around so many cameras in my whole entire life.

I'm overwhelmed.

I'm not gonna lie. This is crazy!

When I saw him pop out, I said,

"Well, something's happening here."

I was telling Drew how much we hung out in the backyard

and played dominoes and cooked

-and laughed -[Linda] Yeah.

and all that stuff

-Partied. -and partied.

And I thought that your garage is such a great place for you to have,

and the boys have a place to watch movies

-and watch sports. -Oh, that's wonderful!

-And then we have... -Oh, my gosh.

We have an idea about...

Well, don't tell her too much.

We want to keep some a surprise.

Oh, was I telling her too much? Okay.

[Linda cries]

I'm just thinking of Julio, my husband.

How much he would appreciate this.

[Drew] Yeah.

[Andy] This is his family, you know.

I've known them... God, we met, like in the late '70s, right?

-Mm-hmm, yeah. -And...

They were having an apartment in the Grove, right?

You had an apartment in the Grove?

Yeah, Tigertail.

And of course, I was going to school with Julio.

Mm-hmm.

And so we've been family since then.

Julio's like

I say, "The brother from another mother."

If you want to pop Patton inside

why don't we have a peek at the garage?

-Yeah, I'd love to. -Shall we meet you back there?

-Yeah. -[Drew] All right.

-Patto, let's go. -Come on.

[Andy] This is one of our main hangout areas, you know.

[Drew] That's nice.

And we play dominoes out here.

And we cook.

There's also a lot of unusable space back here

that I think we could tie into.

I like that it already has pavers.

[Drew] Oh wow.

[Andy] So, as you can see, it's a smaller garage, but...

[Drew] I wouldn't say this is small.

In my opinion, it's actually a good size.

I can see the dartboard over there.

Yeah, we used to open up the garage and play darts.

Ah-ha!

[exclaims]

[Drew] I see this space.

It's a mess.

For storage, you actually have it pretty well organized.

[Drew] But...

[Andy laughs] Look at her face.

Yeah, what's your dream been?

What have you wanted to do with this space?

[Linda] I like to see someplace fun, I guess.

I like the idea of having, like, a place to entertain

and, you know, for the kids,

kids-- the boys, watch their games.

We used to play darts,

-Julio and I. -[Andy] Yeah.

We would have Friday night and he would do a cheese board.

Yeah.

My Julio is with me every day, as I must say that that doesn't...

and especially when I'm acting,

I talk to him all the time when I'm acting.

We met at the Miami Dade Community College South campus,

and there was a corner there.

They called it the Cuban corner because everybody was Cuban.

I'm Cuban.

And we started becoming friends right from the get-go.

We had similar interests, similar sense of humor,

a similar point of view of things, you know. And it was beyond friendship.

He was like my brother.

You know, acting was our passion.

So we were always either reading or working together.

Or if I was writing something, he would be the first guy I'd bounce it off of.

And he'd give me notes.

[singing in Spanish]

To this day, you know, he's still doing it with me.

I have the benefit of having him

like a direct beam.

He's like...

He's got a beam hooked up directly into my body.

Well, you know...

You remind me so much of Julio.

Bicho, leave me alone, will you?

[laughs]

Geez, bicho always means bug,

but it's like a term of endearment.

-Mm-hmm. -[Drew] Yeah.

He was an extraordinary individual.

-So much life, -[Drew] Yeah.

you know, inside of him.

If we bring a bit of Julio's energy to this, though,

like you're saying he's the life of the party,

and there's so much love, and what you guys have.

I think that that would be an amazing space.

But we don't wanna tell you too much.

-[Linda] No. No. Okay. -[Andy] No.

If we're doing a little work back here, we don't want you to see it.

It needs to be a surprise. If you stayed in the house, would you peek?

I would definitely do

the absolutely best not to do it.

-Would she peek? -Yeah, she would peek.

I'm gonna get you, we're gonna get you a a rental somewhere.

I think it's the most generous thing

anybody has ever done for me.

[Andy] We're kicking you out of the house for a couple of months.

I mean, let's talk. Why don't we kick you out of here for a few minutes

and we'll talk through the process.

I don't even have the words.

Such a wonderful thing.

Julio, he would be so grateful.

He would be so proud of his friend doing this for him.

So, the main goal for this space will be an additional living space.

-Yeah. -Right?

Like a lounge space,

or just somewhere that the kids can hang out and feel comfortable.

[Drew] What about storage, though?

Would she wanna keep some up here?

[Andy] I think there's no choice.

If you don't have a place to put some of the bins properly somewhere else...

[Drew] Yeah absolutely. We could create a little small attic space up there

with a pull-down door, so it's easily accessible.

[Andy] That would be

-number one for me. -[Drew] Yeah.

[Drew] What are you thinking for the garage door?

Do you think she would wanna keep it? Because...

No, no, no.

I would say either

additional french doors or some sort of collapsible, kind of, situation.

Yeah, the track here would impede some of the enjoyable space over here.

[Andy] What about maybe including just a big flat screen here?

But as big a TV as you can, right up against that wall there.

Not here because I have thought about this area here,

which is to open it up to the backyard.

Yeah, well, the patio space is beautiful back there.

[Andy] Yeah, why don't we look at the outside, then?

[Drew] Yeah, yeah.

We always came over here.

He was always cooking, barbecuing outside.

We played dominoes out here.

This is a hangout place.

This is the domino area.

It looks very simple, but glorious.

[Drew] This is great actually, the pavers look really good.

[Andy] Yeah, yeah. He put that in a while ago.

This is where I was thinking, if you had a good-size French door,

and then just step into this area and maybe give her a kitchen here.

Maybe a barbecue here or on that wall.

But I think probably this side would be best.

And then, you know, the table here.

I am seeing from here,

the roof is in rough shape, so we're probably gonna have to rip that out.

It's a time thing, too.

-Yeah. -How long you wanted...

Because everything we're talking about--

You're the contractor, you tell me.

[Drew] Well, I would say a healthy six weeks would be good.

Because roof, ripping open the walls,

everything we're doing on the inside.

five weeks can be the agenda.

We could do five weeks.

Why, what, you want like four weeks?

Four weeks is good.

[Drew] You're very intimidating.

[Drew] We couldn't have picked a hotter day to remove these shingles.

But even though it's scorching,

Andy is working like a pro filling in for Jonathan,

who's still a little under the weather.

This is coming off way too easy.

It needs to be replaced.

Wait, you did roofing before, right?

Yeah, I did a lot of shingle work back in the day.

When I came to LA, one of the jobs that I landed,

to pay the rent and stuff,

a friend of mine, he said, "Hey, you need a job?"

I go, "Yeah." And he said,

"I'm doing some work as a roofer."

[Andy] Yeah, it was brutal.

You know, you're out in the sun...

[Drew] Yeah.

And you're laying asphalt shingles.

Well, it's what you gotta do sometimes.

Well, the good thing is,

I literally think we're gonna have this entire roof cleared within an hour.

Because this is coming up so easy.

[upbeat music playing]

[Drew] We have a full punch list to get through today, including the old garage door.

And we're opening up the opposite wall to make room for the new French doors.

[Andy] I never used to have a saw like that before.

That's intense, that saw.

Just hold on. Don't drop that thing.

[hammering]

-[Drew] The wire's holding it. -Good job, Drew.

This is the kind of thing she's probably dreamed of doing for a very long time,

[Drew] Did we pick the hottest day of the year to do this?

It's so hot, literally.

-[Drew] The shingles... -[Jonathan] Yeah.

The shingles are sticking together.

I will say, I think it was actually hotter when Andy and I were up here.

-[Jonathan] Do you think so? -[Drew] Yeah.

Is this just a way for you to bring up that I missed

[Drew] There's no avoiding it.

[Drew] Andy literally thinks that he is the new Property Brother.

And that there's no point for you being here.

He's got a better look, a better voice.

This is the thing, a sexier accent.

He didn't even have to rip the old shingles out.

He just had to look at them with that Andy Garcia-look.

And they all jumped off the roof.

[Drew] While we work up top,

down below, trenches are being dug

so we can run the electric and gas lines to the new outdoor kitchen.

And inside, we're adding floor joists

to support the new attic structure.

When we're finished, Linda will have all the storage she needs above

and a fabulous entertaining space below.

Andy just wants Linda and the kids to have it all.

And we plan to give them just that.

All right.

How do you feel? Obviously, you've flexed the muscle,

You did the demo when I couldn't be there.

Now, we need to pick finishes.

We need to pick samples, colors.

Where do you want to start?

You want to start on the inside or the outside?

Uh, we can start as we come into the space.

Yeah, we want to do everything we possibly can so it doesn't feel like a garage.

So, fabrics.

We can do beautiful big draperies on either side,

-a shade over top of any glass on this door. -[Andy] Mm-hmm.

[Jonathan] How modern would you wanna go?

Monochromatic? Would you want to warm it up?

What do you think would feel right?

Well, I did some reconnaissance with the daughter.

[Jonathan] Oh yeah?

And I think she likes the warmer tones,

you know, the California, sort of, lighter tones.

-Okay. Something like this? -[Andy] Yeah.

Yeah. Just something that takes it away from being a garage.

Technically by code,

it still has to function as a garage.

Which is why even with the flooring,

If we do vinyl, it can give you the beauty of hardwood,

-but you could still drive on it-- -Right.

-and the city will approve it. -Yeah, I Understand.

So, how light or dark

would Linda wanna go when it comes to flooring, in the garage?

[Andy] I would argue that,

I mean, I would say that she probably goes, there.

Lighter?

Great. Love it. That's what I would choose.

How high-tech do you want this to be?

If you're talking about a theater or a movie room.

We've got a nice, big surface here.

We could do like a massive 80-inch.

[Andy] Eight five inches.

That's what they have now, right?

Eighty five is what they have?

That's what I would do.

All right. So what do you want for sound?

Surround sound. You want to be surrounded by the experience of the film.

You know, all movies are mixed that way.

[Jonathan] Okay. We've got our surround sound.

We need our outdoor kitchen.

[Andy] Mm-hmm.

We could do something that just feels kind of modern.

But I think there's an opportunity

to also bring warmth to the yard.

So,

I would personally love to do something that's gonna tie us to the white oak.

-Absolutely. -It's a composite material.

[Andy] You have my full support.

-[Jonathan] You like that? -[Andy] Yeah.

So if we do that for our outdoor kitchen,

-[Andy] Yeah. -[Jonathan] what profile

do you think would be best? Do you want something with a little more detail?

Keep it slab style?

Well, no, I would I would go smooth because these things

believe it or not, they're like dust collectors.

-[laughs] -These grooves.

And then you gotta go in there and go like this.

Oh, you know, the dust.

I would keep it--

I would do this.

This finish, but with that color.

[Jonathan] Okay. And then what all would we want to have out here?

We wanna have a grill...

-[Andy] Refrigerator. -[Jonathan] Yeah.

And I know she loves pizza.

-Cooking pizza. -Okay.

-Okay. -So, that would be a surprise for her.

So we'll go full commercial units.

The other thing that I would suggest somehow is,

we need to get some light on this surface.

Once we see this layout,

where do you see the--

So, I was thinking two zones.

One would be like a fire pit.

Fire table. One would be an outdoor dining area.

And then, over here we'd have our fire pit,

And then we would have some seating on either side.

[Andy] On either side 'cause you're walking out the door right into it.

So then, at that point,

I think you can tie a little thing in here like that,

and bring like a 'V' to a post.

[Jonathan] I love that.

[Andy] And another 'V' to a post of string lights,

plant a vine here that eventually will track over the top of it.

-[Andy] Like that. -[Jonathan] Amazing.

Have you ever had someone call you up and just be like,

"Can you do me a favor?"

"Can you record my voicemail for me?"

Is this an awkward time for you to say,

"Could you record my voicemail message for me?"

[both laugh]

That's why I don't wanna get this wrong,

because you do have this calm, cool collective,

but I feel like I don't wanna mess...

with you.

[Jonathan] We're kicking off the second week with a jam-packed day.

We need to finish up all the electrical work

and install a brand new HVAC system.

Not only so we can make sure that Linda's new space is the temperature she prefers.

But also so that we can close up these walls by the end of the week

and stay on Andy's strict four-week timeline.

[Jonathan] Sliding in, feels like a skateboard here.

Not only are the amazing doors,

they're installed with Andy Garcia.

I feel when you when you do an Andy Garcia impression,

you automatically have to go down an octave.

It's a big opening, so we wanted to have an accordion style

where we can fold on one side, open the other side.

There's lots of function here.

Who would have thought carriage-style doors can add so much beauty.

First of all, the doors don't look like garage doors,

So, you know, there's a craftsman style and it's gonna be

just a large entry door.

Yeah, yeah.

And once you swing it open, it's going to open up the entire space.

Well, the air flow will be amazing.

-[Andy] Yeah. -[Drew] Indoor-outdoor flow, too.

[Drew] You'll be over here.

Every Sunday for football.

You'll be over here for dominoes nights and dart nights.

This is legit feeling like an additional living space,

which, the square footage of the main house,

that's what Linda needed.

And also, it's the first thing you see.

-When you walk up here. -Yeah.

This is the first thing people will see.

And now it's absolutely beautiful.

Julio was big on having friends over.

Now, they have a space where they can really

have a journey outside their home

and find a space where they can entertain.

[Drew] Middle of Week 2, and the interior of the garage

is finally starting to take shape.

This is the phase of the project

where you really start to see things coming together.

You can see what the room is going to look like.

We've got the drywall going up so you can start to see our surfaces,

and we'll mud it and paint it.

Before we get all that done,

we have to make sure that everything is run

for our lighting, for our sound.

-85-inch screen. -85-inch screen,

with a full sound bar underneath.

We'll have 240-watt speakers back here.

We're gonna have a subwoofer

down here as well.

So it's going to have really, really good sound.

Yeah.

Movies and even sports are so sound-oriented.

You want something that you can feel--

The sound has been designed to be all around you, you know?

The boys can watch sports.

She can watch the Dolphin game.

I know she likes to watch movies

and you know, I think she'll entertain a lot.

With girlfriends.

They're pretty heavy duty. These are like really, really top-of-the-line.

And the cool thing, too, is this whole system,

we can operate it from a phone.

Once we get this all in,

I love that, the end user experience is seamless.

Playing music from your phones, streaming movies,

Everything is interconnected through one amp that you can control from your device.

These speakers are not only top-of-the line,

but they are so easy to install.

I remember way back in the day, how tedious it was

to run speakers and wire them in.

Oh my gosh, you press a button.

[Drew] After weeks of digging trenches and shingling and wiring,

it's great to see these gorgeous finishes Andy picked out,

finally being installed.

His luxury vinyl planks look amazing.

While work continues at Linda's,

I'm on a mission to find the right plants

to accent the new outdoor entertaining area behind the garage.

So we're actually gonna put an outdoor kitchen over here.

Andy was saying that Linda loves vines that he has

that crawl along the string lights.

And so, he'd love to have something like that for her in her yard.

-Hedges and then a lot of smaller shrubs, herbs. -Okay.

I don't think we're gonna put those in the garden.

-We'll pot them. -[Melody] Okay.

Because then she can move them around if she wants to, so.

Do you have photos of the space?

-I do, yeah. -Okay, wonderful.

[Drew] So, lots of options.

[Melody] The bougainvillea, absolutely beautiful right now.

Summertime, gorgeous.

If we're looking at year-round interests, in the wintertime,

it does look a little bit lackluster.

I'd lean towards definitely the trumpet vine.

It's a vigorous grower.

It's clean.

And you'll get kind of these biannual purple blooms out of it.

Oh okay. So, twice the year you get the bloom,

I'm assuming then the purple trumpet.

That's the way we should go? It'll stay vibrant-looking year-round?

-[Melody] Exactly, yeah. -Okay.

For the hedge, I want something that will eventually cover the wall

behind the new outdoor kitchen.

But it won't grow so fast that it's gonna be a whole lot of pruning for Linda.

[Melody] So, I know it doesn't look like the thickest guy right now,

but it definitely will fill out.

And if you grab one of the leaves over here.

Take a whiff of that.

Even though I've never had bay leaves on a pizza before.

And then, on top of that, if we do get some herbs and a few different things,

maybe a tomato plant and whatnot that could go in some pots.

Then there you go. She has her whole pizza spot there.

I love it.

[Drew] With just a week and counting.

We're picking up the pace inside, completing the drywall

so we can get the interior primed and painted on time.

Outside, today is all about the outdoor kitchen.

Some of Andy's favorite memories with his best friend Julio

were spent back here in the garden enjoying a great meal.

The welding brothers. Unite.

So, it's not surprising at all that he's here, welding the framework

that will support the quartzite countertop and backsplash in the kitchen.

you and I make this look so much better than Jonathan.

It's great to see Andy in there, taking on things he's never done before.

Welding is not easy.

[Andy] I wouldn't say that I'd go home and dream about

when am I going to weld again?

But it's an interesting thing how

the function of that, you know,

how quickly it holds things together.

[Drew] Looks pretty good.

Why only have one beer fridge when you can have the wine fridge, too?

Oh, my gosh, this is perfect.

What would Julio's favorite part of this yard be?

The beer cooler.

Yeah, right in front of the cooler, there.

Actually, that's something that you should tell me.

Are these two beer coolers?

Is it a red wine?

White wine? Varying temperatures?

I think Linda would swing for the wines.

This is the thing, everything we're talking about

with the design and the project,

Andy is is thinking through it because he wants it perfect for Linda.

Once the stone goes on and up the back wall,

that frame will support all the stone.

You'll be able to see some greenery behind it, yeah.

I actually already went shopping for the trees in behind here.

We're gonna do some bay laurels

because they're gonna grow nice and tall and slim.

It's not gonna get bushy and overtake the kitchen.

And you can cook with them.

[Drew] Exactly.

We could not possibly stuff anymore function into this outdoor kitchen.

Tons and tons of drawers.

We've got the pull-out trash and recycling.

Two beverage fridges.

Pizza oven is here. Why don't we actually just set it up?

Go ahead.

You want to put it on top of these horses?

[Jonathan] Yeah, sure. Yeah, yeah.

[Drew] You have an eye for construction. I'm telling you.

Once we have the frame all built on this guy...

That's great. And the bottom piece, too, where the fire is going to be.

So, this will be, essentially the height of what it will be.

[Andy] Jeez, they're gonna have a ball out here.

Yeah, they might not ever use the indoor kitchen ever again.

[Drew] This is it. With just a few days before the big day,

we still have a long punch list to get through.

The landscape crew arrived early this morning

so we could get the bay laurel and the trumpet vines

planted before the stone for the outdoor kitchen arrived.

We've thought through every detail of this kitchen

from the low-maintenance quartzite backsplash,

the under-mount lighting.

State-of-the-art pizza oven that Andy knows Linda has always wanted.

And on the inside, We are almost ready for the big day.

Is this going inside like that?

Yeah. The plant is gonna sit on the dish.

-[Andy] Yeah. -[Drew] All right.

85 inches of don't drop it.

-There we go. -[Drew] All right, yeah.

The sound is going to be incredible.

-Because I have the same bar. -Right.

And we have a system that's hardwired to the outside?

Yep, so sound in the back porch.

The inside here sound is great, the brains of it, all behind the TV.

And actually the TV itself, too, has the setup

where you can load photos, videos, whatever you want of your own stuff.

Right, it's like if it's a computer in there, yeah.

Do you have a system like this at home?

I have a tube television.

You don't actually have tube TV, right?

Yeah, I actually do.

How do you watch football on, like a little TV or whatever?

[Drew] Come to Julio's house,

this is sort of like a...

It's a flex space.

You can use it for whatever you want.

[Drew] I like that you have the extra stools here, too, if you really want.

[Andy] And the sofa bed, right?

[Drew] Exactly.

It's amazing they have a guest come from Florida or whatever,

and some family, they want to crash for a couple of nights.

Even though obviously it's a garage...

Yeah.

It does not feel like a garage.

No, it doesn't. But it's amazing.

It flows so beautifully from walking in from the beginning

from the craftsman hinge doors that you can open up,

and just flow right through to this barbecue area.

This patio is like the perfect size.

A lot of people can sit back here.

[Andy] That's amazing.

Well, I think the important thing for the family is her two sons

that are always with her and the daughter Melinda,

who comes around and they like to entertain.

This is the part of a project, too, where it's exciting, because we're one step

closer to actually cracking a beer and using the outdoor space.

Didn't we already crack a beer?

I mean, there's no there's no limit.

I only do my gardening with a beer in hand.

I feel amazing that the place is so beautiful.

It's nice to have a space,

where you can bring family together

and share stories.

I feel like you're a storyteller.

Well, the thing is that, you know,

this place will always have special memories for everyone.

They'll always be like, "If only Julio was here." You know.

Julio's special not only in my life, but in my family's life.

He touched many, many people, and he touched a lot of people

with his work as an actor.

People that I mentioned him and they go "Julio, know the name,

I say," "I'll show you a picture."

And they go.

"That guy is a great actor, man."

And I go, "Yeah, I know."

They've been touched by his presence.

And they remember him through the work that he's done over the years.

We're excited about the reveal, you know.

I'm sure she'll be very emotional.

This is one of the most beautiful things anybody's done for me.

Andy has just this

dedicated giant part of his heart for you.

Every detail, was with how you would use the space,

who you would enjoy it with and what you would want out of it.

Oh... That is so sweet.

Andy and his family has been a big part in our family.

Because I moved here, I didn't know anybody.

And they took us in like family.

Did you have any thoughts as to how hands on Andy

was going to be when we were doing this?

No, I didn't.

Well, if this whole acting thing doesn't work out Andy could definitely

be in the construction trades.

I could be the brother that wasn't a twin, kind of thing.

The other brother.

You would be the Property Father.

I love the furniture.

The furniture was lovely, the sofa, everything.

Not only is it TV, it has surround sound.

You have the ability play music wherever you want, play movies.

You can have the sound from the movies.

Play inside and outside.

I'm gonna wake up at five o'clock in the morning,

which is my favorite time of the day.

And just go and have my coffee and sit there.

And watch my news and just enjoy it.

It could be my special place.

This is beautiful, beautiful.

I love the pictures.

Those pictures just makes my heart happy.

My daughter's gonna love that.

We've done so much and the kids mean a lot to me.

I just can't believe that my garage looks like this.

When we were planning out, "What can we do?"

One of the things Andy said is so important was

to make sure there was additional storage.

So we built an entire deck above the ceiling.

Super strong, to make sure that you could actually get up here.

Day-to-day you're not going to need to have any storage.

-Absolutely. -But you have this handle that comes down.

And then, this is a whole ladder.

-And then the ladder. -Oh, it's a ladder.

-It comes down. -Wow.

-And then you have space up there. -Yeah.

-And so then you have tons and tons of storage. -Wow, that's big.

That is amazing.

That is wonderful.

I do have, like decorations for the holidays

and all that stuff, which I love so much.

I think it's just so perfect.

I don't want to want to clutter it or anything like that.

Even the amount of light that you get...

When you're watching a movie

-and you don't want it, the next thing is... -Close off.

I like that.

So we thought, how can we make sure If you're having a party,

you can have that flow that you need.

I love the refrigerators, which is amazing.

And, of course, I love the grill and just everything.

Everything is just perfect.

I don't know if you saw it before, and I still host,

but this is going to be top of the line.

This is going to be very fun.

[Drew] It wasn't even just a matter of doing something that looks pretty.

We also wanted to make sure it was very functional.

Look at the size of the table.

This is crazy, how many people you can get around here.

The lighting was so important for you

because how are you going to cook out here if you can't see?

We wanted to string the lights, but also, Andy wanted to make sure

that you had the extra lighting underneath here

-so that at nighttime, -Oh.

you can see everything.

You think of everything, the lighting, everything.

It's just...

perfect.

And also we have here,

basil, sage, rosemary, tomatoes, right now.

This vine here as it starts to grow

that you keep it tied to that post and then let it come down here.

No kidding.

This is a fire pit.

[Linda] I love fire pits.

Imagine sitting back here

-in the evening... -With a glass of wine.

That's beautiful.

-I feel like you are somebody who knows -Perfect.

how to host a good party.

-I try to. -Yeah.

I have my family coming for Thanksgiving,

and I'm definitely going to do it out here.

And the table is perfect because it's the right amount of chairs

for my family on Thanksgiving.
