There is a ranch in Northern Utah.

It is considered the epicenter

of the strangest and most disturbing phenomena on

animal mutilations,

bizarre UFO sightings

and unusual energies that have proven harmful to humans.

- If we need to adjust it, we can, a little bit,

towards the bait pens.

How are you guys doing out there?

We're doing good. One more piece to install.

There's been unusual activity on this property,

over the course of, you know, days.

Radiation anomalies.

Look, it is going nuts.

It's coming from up there.

Unusual lights.

That's a definite beam.

It is clearly a beam going across there.

We saw a UFO over the property.

We don't know why it occurs or when it occurs.

It's not predictable.

So, it's helpful to have constant monitoring in place.

Something that may help us to pull back

the curtain on what the phenomenology really is.

and one of the things that we do

is keep track of the cattle.

You know, because there has been cattle mutilations

over the past few decades here.

All right. So, there's those.

We're the eyes and ears of this place.

We're constantly looking up, looking out, listening.

We do keep good notes on each day that happens here.

How are those cows doing?

Yeah, they're all accounted for.

They're all bunched up in the corner.

They definitely like this area in the trees here.

Oh, yeah, I see them.

They're all in one spot.

I mean, it's almost like they're scared of something.

Very strange.

Cameras are helpful because it gives us additional eyes,

so to speak, in places where we can't be all the time.

It's like having assistance 24/7.

I think between the three of us,

let's keep an eye on that.

It's absolutely important to continue the work.

Of course, with heightened vigilance.

Before we start drilling, we want to do

one more sweep of the target site.

Hopefully, there's no danger of any of us getting sick.

There's Qal-Tek.

When the team requested

to proceed forward with digging,

to find out exactly what was underground, I was hesitant.

We're always concerned about disturbing the earth,

because we've seen bad things happen.

-You guys remember Casey from Qal-Tek? -Hey, guys.

We've had people in the emergency room

with serious injuries that,

frankly, to this day, remain unexplained.

So, uh, what do we got going on?

Well, we'd like you guys to do another, uh, radiation sweep

down at Homestead Two, 'cause we planned on drilling out there,

but Jim and I, and, uh, and another guy were in there,

our meters went crazy, and they had weird readings.

I-I got, uh, nauseous and a headache

and I had some burns come up on my body.

Really?

T-They formed blisters, just like I'd been sunburned.

And my doctor looked at them and he said, "It looks like

"when we do radiation treatment on people,

that's the kind of burns that you see."

Yeah, we want to definitely double-check that area,

do a more thorough search through there, make sure

that there isn't anything there, make sure you guys are safe,

-so... -Well, let's grab the gear,

get in the two vehicles and head out.

Sounds good.

I didn't want to pull right in front,

'cause I want to stay at least a little ways away

until Casey gets a chance to get in there and poke around a bit.

And you can't send someone in there alone,

-so I'm gonna be right behind you. -Okay.

And you're trained in understanding the effects

of this stuff, so if you notice anything...

-Yeah. -After my previous visit

to Homestead Two,

I ended up with some nasty radiation burns.

So I decided it's probably best I keep my distance

until Jim and Casey can figure out what's going on over there.

I mean, maybe Erik's right.

Maybe there is some kind of powerful energy there

that's buried somewhere deep underground.

All right, guys. Y'all be careful in there,

watch each other's backs.

-All right. -So right around the corner here is where we started.

We'll start in the back where the, uh, cistern is.

Everything, everything I'm seeing here

-is all just background. -Pretty low?

Yeah. Just background. Nothing.

This is actually the opposite of what we saw.

All these nails over here, maybe?

-Nothing? -Nothing.

-Okay. -Nothing up on the roofs, nothing.

-Are you finding anything? -Not at this point.

Nothing-- Not at this point.

-I think, really... -You're not getting anything?

As we're looking around, the readings that we took

using our instruments show

that it was below what they would normally read,

and they didn't read anything higher

than what we call background noise.

Nope.

Just background.

Maybe we can come focus over here more?

-Yep. -Where the well is.

Is that the well, right there?

-Okay. -One of the things that we did

is we took the top off, and I'd like to do that again.

-Yep. -But after we kind of check the area and do a little, uh, scan.

Okay.

Yep, that's just background.

This is interesting.

In the same spot where, just last week,

I got hit by a huge spike of ionizing radiation,

Casey and Jim are now getting zero readings.

So, n-nothing but background?

Nothing but background.

At this point in time, there's no radiation.

I mean, as far as what my meters are-are seeing,

there's nothing there at the moment.

You know how crazy that sounds, though? "At this point in time"?

-It's... -I mean, that's becoming

the catchphrase out here at the ranch.

"At this-- at this point in time."

I-It's almost like, you know,

the ranch is, like, messing with us, you know?

We-we go in there and it's gonna poke us this time.

And we-- Let's go right back and not--

That's how you make people crazy.

We've done what we can.

You know, the fact that there's not a constant source

of something that's harmful

makes me feel at least a little bit better

-about poking a hole in the ground. -Right.

It does clear that hurdle

of being able to come in and see what's under us.

I agree. Well, let's load our gear up and let's head out.

If there really is some kind of massive object

or structure located deep beneath Homestead Two,

then I'm eager to start drilling so we can find it.

Could we be stirring up a hornets' nest here? Sure.

But why would we want to walk away now without any answers?

So, I guess we're getting some new animals.

Alpacas, I think, is what I think they are.

Is that the ones that spit on you?

I think if you make 'em mad, yeah, they'll spit on you.

Go ahead and open this.

We decided to see

if our drilling operation, coupled with the introduction

of an exotic type of animal would help trigger some kind

of strange or unusual phenomenon.

So, Tom and Kandus arranged for the delivery of two alpacas.

That's probably good.

That's a type of animal that,

as far as any of us know, has never been on the ranch before.

-Hello, hello. -Hey, Jim.

-So excited. -I can see you,

-I can see you've already adopted 'em. -Yes.

The idea of bringing alpacas on the ranch was

just to introduce a different animal.

Something that's never been here,

something a little bit more exotic than a cow.

- I'm ready to rock and roll.

We thought it would be interesting

to just see how they react to the ranch

and how the ranch reacts to them.

We can put 'em in this corner pen for now.

We're going to corral them to start with,

in a smaller space so they can get more comfortable

to the bigger scope of things, where we can

maybe eventually let them out in the pasture.

Just watch out for their back legs,

'cause they will kick sometimes if they're scared.

-Kandus, do it. -Okay.

We ended up with the alpacas

because they have very good eyesight,

very good hearing,

and are always aware of what's going on around them.

-- Come on. -- Hopefully they'll react

if they see something out of the ordinary.

Welcome. This is where you're gonna live.

But the only thing is,

they're not known to be very vocal.

So, which one is, uh, Lionel?

The, the chocolate brown, yeah.

-- Jed is the lighter one. -- Yeah, he's the blonde. He's four.

And then Lionel's ten.

I got my degree in anthropology.

Which is really the study of behavior.

So, Tom and I,

being part of this whole team, we're hoping that

it sheds light on things

we hadn't ever really looked into before, researching-wise.

They seem to like okay here.

They're doing-- yeah, and their ears are telling, too,

when they stand up.

I like the idea

of introducing new types of animals

to the property in order to see if that will stimulate

different types of interactions with the phenomena.

And it's something that will hopefully bring new insight.

-They look like they're pretty comfortable. -Yeah.

People think we're crazy to want to live out here,

because of the history.

I would like to see some of these things

people have explained and described,

'cause I think it's fascinating.

or if, you know, if they pick up on anything different.

My goal is to experience this place

and to understand this place.

Want to introduce you to a very close friend

and confidant here.

Uh, this is Larry Cesspooch.

Larry Cesspooch is a local Ute leader.

He's very spiritually in touch

with what we've got here on Skinwalker.

You know, there's a lot of people

that profess to be spiritual leaders,

but Larry has a really true perspective on this area.

You know, this is home to him.

Skinwalker Ranch is pretty much surrounded on all sides

by members of the Ute tribe.

These are people who are very familiar

with all the strange UFO activity that happens here.

Now, because I'm a scientist, you'd think I wouldn't be open

to spiritualism or the so-called paranormal,

but I think it's important that we examine

all the possibilities, even the ones that offer

more mystical explanations.

You know, it's interesting. I've been on the property

since the current ownership purchased the place.

And, you know, everybody seems to experience

things, and sometimes not the nicest things.

It's a very powerful place.

Our people, the Ute people,

were through Colorado and Utah,

and generations have talked about things

that have happened in this area,

and our people have accepted it as just part of this universe.

And so, just as there's white, there's black, and good and bad,

and all of that.

So, I appreciate hearing that.

So, I'd like to kind of get your perspective on something.

Sure.

It's kind of awe-inspiring and-and awe-striking to me

when I stand out here in the middle of the field,

I realize I'm standing inside a big bowl.

I wonder if this is kind of like a collector

of whatever's going on here. Maybe that's why it's here.

I think it's more like a funnel...

where everything comes to a point.

And so...

I don't know if you want to call it a portal?

A lot of people have called it that.

Where in your mind do you fit something like that

as far as an explanation?

-Oh, yeah, I... -I'm just curious. Someone like yourself.

I have no doubt that it's,

uh, from something...

not of this earth.

-Okay. -Historically,

is there tribal history

that says that there were things that they saw here?

Yeah.

Our people, in Ute,

what people call skinwalkers, we call that

"ya-go-ven-sin-ite," which means "coyote-like."

Have you ever seen one?

I haven't seen one,

but I've had many people tell me about what they've seen.

When I was in high school,

we came and we hauled hay for this old couple,

and it was this field right here.

They had these big dogs,

and they had a bunch of dead bolts on their door.

And so I asked 'em, uh, "What's the dead bolts

and the dogs for?"

And they said, "Well, things come at night."

Skinwalker Ranch really derived its name from a curse.

The skinwalker curse has its roots in a feud

between the Ute tribe and the Navajo tribe.

At a time when the Utes were really aligned

with the United States government

and had sold many of their peers

into slavery.

So, the Navajo cursed this property.

A skinwalker is essentially a witch

that has chosen to put on the skin,

essentially, or the form

of what can only be described as a giant wolf.

A skinwalker is something that exhibits

superhuman agility and strength.

Placing the skinwalker curse on this property

made it a very real place to avoid.

We've heard all these stories that if you dig on this ranch,

bad things might happen to the people

that do the digging.

So, there's a space down here that we've got instruments

that say there might be something underground,

but the only way to know is to drill.

We want to do it safely, and we certainly don't want

-to do something that's-that's dangerous. -Right, right.

But we'd love to get your perspective on it.

Well, normally when we, we do anything

to disturb the earth,

we usually lay down the blessing.

'Cause I don't want to tap into something

-that isn't meant to be tapped into. -Amen!

That's been my whole contention

the entire time.

Let's put it this way.

-Let's go and see. -I would love that. -That'd be great.

Well, why don't we head out there and look?

It's a vast property.

How many acres?

-About 512 total. -Oh, wow.

-I didn't realize it was that big. -You know,

it goes quite a ways south.

about disturbing the ground on the ranch.

And who knows? Maybe it will really help keep us safe.

As you can tell, this is one

of the old dwellings here. We call it Homestead Two.

This is an area where people have had

various experiences. I'll leave it at that.

So, if we decide to dig,

it's gonna be along this roadway,

where we detected anomalies under the ground.

We don't know what it is,

we just know it's something different

than the rest of the dirt around,

-under the ground here. -Right.

I, I will lay some tobacco.

that no one be hurt or affected.

And so we're just gonna whack these branches off.

Today is a day without precedent on Skinwalker Ranch.

We're drilling into the ground after having done

ground-penetrating radar surveys near Homestead Two.

That's perfect.

We're told that some kind of misfortune

often accompanies digging.

We don't assume that there's a danger,

but we also don't assume that there isn't.

In my opinion, we're ready to dig.

We have the right personnel. We hired the right consultants.

We're well protected.

We're ready to get out of there if anything bad happens,

so we're ready to go.

That's a pretty big drill.

Yeah, this is on Brandon's mandate.

It certainly wasn't mine.

It's gonna be all right, Dragon.

I still have some reservations

about digging or drilling on the property.

A lot of the activity associated with digging on the ranch

isn't necessarily what you're gonna pull out of the ground...

-How we doing? -...but what may happen

when you do disturb the earth.

-You guys are ready to do some work, huh? -Yeah.

I guess we'll have you come on in, then.

Ground-penetrating radar said

there's something under the road that's anomalous,

and the only way to get down there

and look at it is to dig a hole.

So that's what we're going to do.

I'm the ranch superintendent here.

So, what we found, guys, is-- we did ground-penetrating radar

on-- along the roadway here,

and so there's something along this stretch

from about where we are on past that homestead,

probably 50 feet or so.

We've had some-- I don't want to call 'em issues--

but some events, where there might have been

some radioactive decay particles.

There might have been some toxic chemicals.

So we'd like to go small distances, like a few feet,

measure it with equipment that Casey brought,

and then, then when it's clear, do the next few feet

and-and make sure that we're not getting anybody in any situation

-we don't want to be in, right? -Sure.

The first hole we're gonna drill today

will be at the far end of Homestead Two.

Now, Jeremy Lebeau has been instructed to go easy,

in case we hit something really dangerous.

We're drilling today with hollow-stem augers.

They're hollow in the middle.

That allows us to go down

through the middle with our sampler.

We'd bring up the sample, look inside of it,

and you can do whatever readings you need to do at that point.

And that would be before we drill down

-and really disturb it. -Yeah, I like that.

Well, let's get him located

-where we want to plunge that first hole. -Yeah.

Let's get you situated to measure whatever they pull up

-from that, right? -Correct. Correct.

-You want it right there? -Yep.

Right in the middle of the road, right there.

Unusual things happen out at Homestead Two.

It's undeniable.

There's talk about things being buried here.

There are rumors that there is some kind of alien activity

beneath this property,

and here we are, at that very spot,

ready to start exploring what's beneath the ground,

but we really don't know what we're going to find.

So, guys, before you drill, I'm gonna,

I'm gonna remove myself.

-Keep us posted on how you're doing. -All right.

My rational mind says that there's no problem

digging on the ranch.

My experience makes me very superstitious.

I didn't believe in the paranormal

when I came out on this ranch.

It wasn't until my injury that I really bought

into the whole notion of digging.

We can check for radiation or gases that come out,

but show me the scientific meter

that can pick up bad spirits or bad energies.

And until we have that, we can't say

that we can monitor for every bad thing

that could possibly be coming out of the earth.

Here we go.

So, is this the core sample now?

Yep. He's getting a sample.

Oh, so you're getting dirt before you even drill.

-That's right. -Oh, that's sweet.

The drilling just facilitates, to get to the depth to sample.

There are a couple of reasons

why we don't just bring excavation equipment out

and just dig the whole ranch up.

Number one, we're not sure what's down there.

And so, it's safer to do core samples first.

When we pull the core sample up and we look at it,

the first thing we're doing is having Casey

check it for radioactive material.

There's no radiation or anything in there?

-Right, Casey? -Nothing there. Got nothing.

So we can keep moving.

I have no preconceived ideas of what it is we're gonna hit.

All I know is, it's something different than the regular dirt?

Well, that's kind of what we're good at, is...

Usually, it's for engineering purposes,

but we look for anomalies, things that are there

that shouldn't be there.

-Right. -Disturbed earth, stuff like that.

We are all kind of apprehensive.

GPR showed that there's something down there,

but what it is, we don't know.

Is it possible that these strange objects

that we're seeing is the source of the radiation

that caused the injury to Thomas?

Caused the injury to Travis?

So, if we do find something that shows

dangerous radiation levels,

that's the end of this investigation.

-- Anything? -- Nothing.

Nothing. All right, let's go get the next one.

So, this next sample should be right there.

So, they're hitting something hard now.

We're right now at

This is at the right depth.

That whole thing's shaking.

So, they're hitting something hard now.

Man, they're on something.

As we move closer to the, uh, GPR anomaly,

the core drilling bit is hitting something,

and it's chattering like crazy,

like it's hitting something really hard.

I hear a pinging sound. You hear that?

Sound metallic?

That whole thing's shaking.

What is our depth?

We're right now at about 17.

I think that's right in the range

where we were getting that ping.

Yeah, I think you're right.

It's just too hard.

We're not going anywhere.

W-We can't go any deeper.

The drill rig's done. We're gonna break a bit,

shear a pin, do something bad, do some damage.

Can we look at the bit

when you pull it up, and maybe see

if there's anything on the end of it

-that-that makes sense. -Sure.

The fact that the drill bit

is hitting something that can't be penetrated

has gotten us all excited but also a little bit nervous.

I mean, hey, what if some of the rumors I've heard are true,

and there really is some kind of alien object underneath there?

-What do you got? -That was in the middle of it.

Okay, check that, check that with the meter,

make sure it's not radioactive or anything.

-Got nothing. -So, this is siltstone.

Siltstone is just a type of bedrock

that we have around here.

It's made of silt rather than sand.

But this doesn't seem like it adds up

to what we were thinking, possibly.

I mean, so...

But it doesn't look sinister.

No, it doesn't look...

Or man-made.

All right, so I would say we move on.

-- Move on. -- Yeah, I think so.

I think somewhere right in front of the homestead.

This is the one that makes me a little bit nervous,

just because of the history

of what has happened at the old homestead,

what happened with you and other people.

You know, I want to cautiously

keep an eye on this one for sure.

Oh, I-I agree.

One of y'all just get on one end of this table

and we'll just walk with this thing.

Even though we didn't find anything

at our first drill site,

we're gonna move to another place,

right in front of Homestead Two.

A little more. All right.

About there is good. Thank you, man.

At least the trees cooperated.

This is the one that,

if we find radiation gradients or increases of radiation,

-this is where it's gonna happen. -Agreed.

We all know there's been a lot of injuries on Skinwalker Ranch

based upon what we perceived to be ionizing radiation.

We call that "gamma radiation" for a short term.

Right over there is where my, uh, dosimeter went off

and I got exposed to radiation.

So, we were looking to see if we can measure

ionizing or gamma radiation in the soil,

which would then give us some information to go back and say

why these people are getting hurt.

Well, maybe this will be "X" marks the spot.

That's where I put the "X" on the GPR

and said that's where we should dig.

Look at that.

The whole power line's wobbling.

Why is that rocking like that?

The wire's going nuts.

It was violent.

-Look, there-- all the way down there. -Look, it's...

-- Oh! -- Holy sh...

Yeah.

It's crazy.

Just then, something made the utility pole nearby shake,

like we were having an earthquake.

Somebody messing with that wire?

-Who would be there? -I don't know!

They stopped shaking.

That is really weird.

That's crazy.

That was strange. I mean,

maybe Tom and Dragon were right.

Maybe we shouldn't have drilled here on the ranch.

Just for one other safety measure,

I'm gonna walk with Erik, we'll go in there,

see if this thing goes off or else...

- And you've got the Geiger counter, right? - I mean, I don't love being a human radiation detector,

but I'd rather us pick it up before we get any further along.

-Just get out quick if it... -I want to go to the exact same spot

where you experienced what you did.

-It was at the corner over there, right? -I know, I know.

-All right. -Let us know what you find, guys.

-Okay. -Will do.

I think what we're finding

is that there isn't a radioactive source underneath us that's permanent, anyway.

- Yep.

- That just looks like fill dirt.

I mean, that's just mud, is all that is.

That's like, that's like it has just been put there

not long ago because they were making a road.

- So, I guess our premise is that if anything that we're doing

out there on the road stirs up activity, we'll see it on one

-or more of these devices. -Yeah.

Right now it looks like it's just that typical range.

Listen to that bit chatter.

There it is.

Boy, that thing sounds like it's hitting something hard.

Yeah, what the heck is it?

Should we go out and look at that, or do you want to poke around here a little bit more?

Maybe we head over and take a peek.

Yeah, let's go see.

Boy, that thing is not moving.

That thing's sounding like it's working way harder.

Yeah. We hit a hard layer. It was soft,

and then, all of a sudden, boom.

Yeah, there's some kind of natural layer, I think,

that's about this thick or so.

That's what we were seeing in the GPR.

Ooh, wow. Look at that.

Oh.

I don't see anything crazy.

Just more dirt.

We're at 29 feet, and that's just kind of normal dirt

at this point.

Normal clay, whatever you call that.

-I got a big question for you. -Mm-hmm

What do you think about digging on the ranch now?

It's kind of a complicated answer from my standpoint.

I'm happy-- the fact that we didn't pick up any radiation

or any dangerous things, based on the equipment we have

coming out of the ground.

But if you look at the lore,

or the stories passed down, or the reports,

stuff doesn't always happen immediately

when you dig on the ranch.

It can take time.

Just because we didn't find anything today

with the drilling process,

that doesn't mean that things aren't gonna happen

as a result of us drilling.

I... and I agree it doesn't give us carte blanche

to just go digging willy-nilly.

But maybe it's gonna help us say,

"Look, digging may not necessarily be

such a heebie-jeebie thing that, that people think it is."

So, has he been down ever since, or has he...?

He was down a lot at the beginning.

I woke up this morning to this screaming sound

that I wasn't familiar with.

The alpacas were under some sort of distress.

Came to find out one of 'em was under attack.

Well, let's see if we can get ahold of him.

The alpacas were in a great degree of distress,

based on this screaming sound that we hadn't heard before.

I run into the pen, and this pack of animals is

just chomping on this alpaca.

You're all right.

They looked like dogs, but they varied in size.

Like a whole group of something eating him alive.

Like, that's what it looked like.

There were a group of animals just eating him.

It looks bad.

And there was one animal in particular

that did not move off the alpaca

when I ran into the corral.

It took me picking up a stick and chucking it at him

to even get him out of the corral.

Very aggressive. Very aggressive animal.

So, will you cauterize the wound?

- No. I'm gonna try to suture some of it.

I'm just glad he's alive.

I didn't know what you were gonna find.

Yeah.

So, Dr. Duncan, are you from here?

- I've been here forty years.

- Okay. Yeah. - I wasn't raised here.

- Are you familiar with this property?

- Well, in the past...

...I knew the Shermans. - Okay. They had some crazy things that happened.

- Yeah. Strange things were going on.

They finally decided to...

...get away from it...

...because they were a little scared.

You know, they had some stories about big animals

that they saw.

They didn't know what they were.

They had cattle mutilations. Seen any of those?

- One mutilation that I do remember...

...there was a cow...

...that had the tail missing.

They found the tail...

...and it was out in the sagebrush.

Couldn't tell if it'd been chewed off...

...or somebody cut it off.

The Sherman family bought the property in the early '90s.

They experienced everything from UFO sightings

to countless cattle mutilations

of a very disturbing nature.

They had beasts

or entities that could only be described as

the skinwalkers of old.

These giant, wolf-like creatures

that would appear to them.

They were terrorized.

That's part of what motivated them

to sell the property.

- Okay. So, I think that's all we're gonna suture.

- Okay. He's good to go?

- Good to go. Go on. Let him go.

- Okay.

Yeah, well, thank you so much for coming out.

- You're welcome.

Although we hoped that the presence of the alpacas,

coupled with our digging,

might trigger some strange phenomena,

we thought the pen we had them in

would protect them from harm.

After what happened, we decided to take them off the ranch

and move them to a safer place.

- I think it's going to be okay.

-I'll take some of that for you. -Yeah.

And, uh, the attack might even be on video here.

I bet we might have something.

You know, it might be a good idea for you guys just to go follow up. -Yeah.

We got to do everything we can do to prevent

anything like this from happening again.

You know, the only thing I can

put my mind to is it's a dog,

-but it's a big dog. -No.

I think you could see the way he moved and the color.

Yeah, it's hard to say exactly what,

you know, bit them.

It was wretched.

We were just watching some footage.

Obviously, there's nothing going on.

-These guys are just chilling. -They're fine. Just hanging out.

Well, the unfortunate thing is, this camera

went down not too long after what we're looking at right now.

-Oh, really? -Yeah.

Are there any other cameras that might have picked up anything?

Um, yes.

We have the camera that was on Travis's trailer

looking back towards the corral.

-Okay. -Let me bring this up.

Oh, God.

So they're already under attack. We see them running around.

-- Yeah. -- Unfortunately, we don't have a great view.

Okay, so you can see something in that pen.

-Yeah, there is something... -What is that? -Oh, yeah.

-But that thing is in between them. -That is a big animal in there.

-Yeah. -Okay.

Oh, gosh, it's chasing them in circles.

Okay, so what, um...

Something is in there chasing and grabbing...

-Can we see that again? -Maybe they showed up-- I don't... - Yeah.

Oh, there. Right there, that's...

-When the first bite happened. -Yeah.

Let's take a look again.

So, this is an animal that doesn't hesitate

to attack not one but two animals

that are as much as maybe 185, 200 pounds. - Yeah.

Watch the footage up there,

and you can almost see something grabbing onto it right about...

Oh, right there. Yeah.

That's when you really see whatever that is pounce.

I want to back this up and review it again carefully.

-- Yeah. -- Oh...

Oh, right there. Oh.

You know what's crazy about that is,

you would think if it was just normal animals,

-you'd come running out and, you know, they'd scatter. -Yeah.

I'm really glad that,

whatever it was, it didn't turn on you guys.

Could have been much, much worse.

Yeah. Absolutely.

I felt a lot of responsibility for these alpacas.

I like to learn from my mistakes, and so

we're going to move them to a much more secure location

and prevent anything like this from happening again.

This is something that we can monitor, we can data-log

and be on the lookout for suspicious activity

as, perhaps, more of our animals may be subjected

to whatever it was.

It was horrible to hear those alpacas screaming

and know who was in trouble

but not know what was causing the harm.

I don't know what was in that pen with them.

I just know something was, and it was bad.

With all of its beauty and stunning landscapes,

Skinwalker Ranch, at its heart,

is truly a mysterious, haunting place.

And I don't believe it's a coincidence that we see

such disturbing events happening on this property.

What is at work?

I want to get to the bottom of that.

There's a helicopter coming in.

That dude's hovering right there.

I think somebody's watching us right now.

There's something going on out here.

What in the world? It's just dead.

-Get that over there. -The meter's going nuts.

All the frequencies are excited.

Mankind doesn't know how to do that.

- We're dealing with something that doesn't want us

to understand.

- There's something happening here.

The cow reacted
