To start this new day with an energetic song,

this is me, RJ Arun, from Karaikal FM. Happy listening, folks!

Now that the monsoons are over and the sun's out,

everyone's eagerly waiting when the temple festival will be held,

with the kiosks disbanded and the processions coming to an end.

Here comes a lively song for you all to freshen up your morning!

No one was at home when it occurred?

-I returned after my night shift. -I see.

Who else stays here?

-Just the two of us. -Okay.

-Where were you when this happened? -I was in the shower.

-What time would that be? -Around 8 a.m.

Coming in, sir?

Coming.

The intruders came in at 8 p.m., right when she went to shower.

They broke the glass, unlocked the doors, and looted the cupboard.

Given the accuracy, it looks like it's someone known to them.

-Didn't you hear the dog barking? -No, I didn't.

Can you step outside, please?

Yes, sir?

How many sovereigns was it?

15, sir.

It wasn't stolen but at the pawn shop.

What do you mean?

I think you should ask your wife. She'd tell you about it.

I hope you don't make a big deal of it.

Get going.

Driver?

How did you know, sir?

Did you even notice their dog?

It howls at the sight of an unfamiliar face.

Even if they did break in to the house

while she was in the shower, how could she have not heard the sound?

Chances are slim, actually.

If the house was stoned from the outside,

where would we find the glass shards?

Unaware of what had happened,

she's casually dried her towel outside.

It doesn't even make sense.

Do you know why I spoke to him outside?

-[phone ringing] -Hello?

Sir, that lady's on the line.

Sir, I'm sorry.

I made a mistake. Please forgive me.

Why did you spare her, sir?

Did she think we were fools?

Let it go. Who knows what troubles she might be in.

Sir?

Go on.

Sir!

Tell me.

Received any update?

Why don't you ask the SI yourself?

-Deal with him. -Sure, sir.

She must've spent the stolen cash by now.

It's been a week since I filed a complaint and there's been no update!

You don't talk about it even when I come in person.

Can you please tell me what's been happening?

What is your problem?

We are investigating!

She neither has relatives of her own nor owns a cellphone.

How do you expect us to find her? Through a crystal ball?

Don't come often and eat our brains out.

We'll keep you informed if we find something. Now scram.

Hello?

Don't crowd, people. Move away.

Listen to us and move!

Sir, we've cleant the place.

Alright, make a move.

Listen to us and clear the place!

Out, everybody! Go on!

-Keep at it. -You, get going!

-Out from here. -Sir.

Identified the corpse?

No, we weren't able to since the face's fully damaged.

We couldn’t retrieve any fingerprints since it had fully decomposed.

Who first witnessed it?

Come over here, you.

Greetings, sir.

I can't even work a day in peace.

You've got me holed up for so long.

Which is why no one comes to you for help.

Enough now. What time did this happen?

-You all get in. -I came by 3 a.m. to cast my nets out.

That's when I saw this.

I've seen many cases before.

But never one like this.

It looks like… it must've stayed afloat in the sea for a week.

It also has scars of the stingray fish's tail all over.

The corpse’s wounds look worse, likely from the fish bites.

Get his statement and send him off.

Make sure to send out a lookout notice to all stations for any missing cases.

Okay, sir.

-How many of you were there? -Just the two of us, sir.

-Where are you from? -From Sothikuppam.

Out of the way. Please.

Move, people.

-You will come whenever we call for you. -Sure, sir.

Let's go, brother.

A. FAROOK YASIN MLA, KARAIKAL, PUDUCHERRY

An unidentified corpse of a girl was found ashore

in the early hours of the day at Akkaraivattam Beach, Karaikal.

It was that indistinctive--

What is up with you?

How long are you going to be thinking of her?

Don't we wish to see you soon with someone?

Can't you keep quiet, Rizwana?

Why irritate him even further?

Son…

Don't you worry.

We'll find her.

-Care for some tea? -Su… Sure, sir.

Hey, that was my cup!

I… I… I am so sorry, sir!

Drink it up yourself.

You, bring me your papers.

What?

-Yeah… -Hey, you!

Didn't you hear me?

-Sure, brother. -Get down. Now!

And your keys.

Meet the Inspector.

Don't be coy about the hawala transactions here.

They tire us out combing through the crowd, because of a tip-off.

I was only carrying loads of waste, sir.

Greetings, sir.

Look at what you've done for roaming around!

I'm Mariadoss, the Area Councillor.

These are my areas, sir. Go on, tell me what the matter is.

I can help you out through anything.

It's one of our vans, so do the needful.

Why can't you dump it in your areas then?

That was the original plan.

Don't I know the real reason why you're here, sir?

Go on, get your keys and go.

Clear these idiots out! Councillor, my foot.

These idiots will never change.

-Are the formalities done? -Yes, sir.

Checked even the missing cases and lookout files.

The dress, age, height and weight… All seem to be a perfect match.

Out of those three cases, his wife's dress seems to perfectly match.

Even he's confirmed the same.

All they have to do is now identify the corpse.

-How much longer? -A little longer, brother.

Ma'am?

Can you tell me if this is your daughter-in-law's?

It is, sir.

How could that girl be selfish?!

Come here, you!

I'll have a look, brother.

Go in.

Hey, where are you--

-What happened, boy? -What's the matter?

It is her, isn't it?

No, that isn't my wife.

What the heck? You just confirmed that it was her dress.

Now, you're saying it isn't? Do we look like idiots to you?

-Did you take a good look? -It may have looked like her outfit.

But the corpse isn't hers.

The details you gave are a perfect match though.

How can you be so sure that it isn't her?

My wife doesn't have any such marks, sir.

Marks?

Your complaint doesn't say so.

Are you lying up to my face?

Sir, I know how she'd look like!

Did you even take a good look?

Of course, I did. And it isn't her.

What are you all trying to do?

Are you trying to make him falsely identify

an unclaimed corpse as his wife and close the case?

-Let's get out of here. -Alright.

-What happened to the case? -Process' going on, sir.

[phone ringing]

Excuse me.

-Tell me, Doss. -Greetings, sir.

He brought in an unclaimed corpse

to close the case sooner.

-He mustn't be spared. Please do something. -Oh, Doss.

Don't bring in your personal vengeance into this.

I'm aware of your bad blood.

Since his past records are in the clear,

my hands are tied in this matter.

We'll see after the elections are done.

Till then, you keep to your limits with him.

What a hopeless man.

What's up, Karthikesan?

How are we to strike deals if you keep meddling into our businesses?

Oh, come on. Like it's personal.

She must've been around 25 years old.

And must've fallen from a height of 25 - 40 feet.

The impact of that fall crushed her face.

This must've happened on a rocky surface or area.

Her face is filled with scratch marks.

And the pressure dents of the rocks are clearly imprinted on her.

The fish has bitten her up for more than a week,

damaged her whole face and was afloat in the sea

and lead to it's fast decomposition.

Is it a rape, suicide or a murder?

Definitely not rape.

It's your job though to tell us that.

You must also work enough to earn your salary, right?

Like you've been helpful to us so far!

Fine, I'll take leave.

Where can we find stingrays' habitat?

Near the crime spot or near the rocky beach?

From the Arasalar bridge to the beach,

it's rocky throughout for 500 meters, to be exact.

This is also the season where the fish comes to the shore.

What if we check the nearby CCTV footage,

we may find some clue?

-Oh, yeah, we can! -Don't just exclaim.

-But do it! -Ye…Yes, sir.

-Sir? -Shush!

No matter how sly the rat, the trap always wins in the end.

-Go on. -Sir, do you have a minute?

Okay, sir.

Sir.

Play the video.

Hold on, rewind that. Sir, she looks exactly like that girl!

-Play the camera 2 footage. -Sir?

We can only see his face and number plate clearly from this angle.

Only his face is clear.

Sir… I've seen him somewhere.

He was here last week for passport verification.

-Do you have his contact number? -Yes, sir.

-Call him. -Sir.

Sir, his mobile is switched off.

-Do we have his address? -Yes, we do.

-Albert? -Sir, I'll take care.

-Tell me! -I haven’t seen him in a week,

and his phone’s been switched off too.

He told me he’d be going abroad, so I think he left already, sir.

Abroad?

Make sure to inform us if he comes back.

Let us know when he gets back.

I ran into him at the market two days ago.

He was trying to get his phone fixed and was busy with his travel formalities to go abroad.

Why, sir? Any problem?

No, son. We’re planning to give him the President’s Award.

Really, sir?

He committed a murder, damn it!

Sir.

His mobile has been off for a week now.

The last tower signal matches with the crime scene.

We’re hunting him down tirelessly, sir. He won’t escape us.

Sir?

My name is Dinesh, sir.

I heard you came looking for me.

I thought I’d meet you in person to find out what’s going on.

You murdered someone like it's nothing.

Such nerve of you to show up here.

-Murder? -Hey!

What did you do to that girl?

Who's that guy with you?

I didn't do anything, sir.

Sathya and I were getting everything ready to land a job in Singapore

He received his passport and visa first.

The day after the festival, he was all set to depart.

We were celebrating that all day by drinking and smoked marijuana all day.

We were completely high the whole time!

You'll be leaving tomorrow, and I'll be joining you next week.

Our lives are going to change forever!

This is wonderful, isn't it?

But… I feel like…

something is missing.

Smoke? Check.

Liquor? Check.

Women? Still pending.

Is that it?

It's my treat today.

I'll get you what you want.

I'll satisfy your thirst.

Come, let's go.

-4000… -Doesn't matter. Ask her to come.

Dude! You're doing this for me?

-Bike… -Let's head to the beach side.

Oh, my, my!

-Do you want to try? -Eww! No.

It's amazing! Give it a shot.

Eww! Find someone else.

Alright, be quick.

What are you doing? Hey!

Stop being stubborn! Chill, just take a few puffs.

This will take you straight to paradise!

Hey, let me go.

-Hey! -Hey, stop!

-Hey, stop right there. -Catch her!

Catch her, dude!

Stop running! Dude! Dude!

-Stop running, I say! -Listen to me!

-Hey, hey. Listen! -Let go of me.

People might show up.

Listen. You're leaving tomorrow.

If I ever catch a hold of her…

Come.

-Damn it! Get lost! -Hey!

I'm completely sober now. Let's leave this place.

Where is your friend? Ask her to come.

Sir... Sathya left for Singapore the very next day.

Do you have his picture?

Yes, I do.

Sir.

So, why has your phone been switched off all week?

Loansharks were after me, sir.

I couldn't answer anyone.

What is that prostitute's name?

-I have no idea, sir. -Do you know where she lives?

Yes, sir.

We’re keeping our hands off because you came in voluntarily.

But if we find out you're lying…

I'll skin you alive and hang you!

Yes, sir.

You come.

Why does he always pick her over us?

-Hey, you better return early. -Shall we?

How much?

I don't want that man. You come with me.

You little piece of crap! Get going, you wastrel!

You worthless crap.

I had to deal with these filthy dirt bags! All because of you.

Will she come here or not?

Sir, she'll be here, sir.

-Hello? -Did she come?

-She's not here yet, sir. -Okay, I'll be there.

Thank you, sir.

I have my doubts on you.

Sir…

Give me a break, sir.

Hey, the police are here. Come, let's leave.

-Sir! -Sir.

-Girls! Come here. -Sir?

-Hey, show her the footage. -Have a look at this.

Do you know her?

Hey, tell them!

Sister, last Monday,

I saw a fair, tall girl in a yellow churidar here.

She also had a scar right here.

-Sir, look at how closely he has watched her! -What's wrong, sir?

-Why are you inquiring about her? -There's no need to worry.

This is regarding a different case. We are just asking around.

Sir, her name is Jaya.

She's from T. K. Puram.

It's been a week since I saw her.

Her mobile is switched off.

Do you know where she lives?

Brother, bring him along.

Who's inside?

Go and buy something for the kid.

Okay, sir. I'll be back.

Mom!

-I'm late for school. -Send her off.

Kid?

-What's your name? -Priya.

-Which grade are you in? -Third.

-Sir. -Give it to her.

-My mum packed egg rice for lunch! -I hate my lunch!

-Priya! We're late, come fast! -Bye, Mom.

-Can I get some water? -Yes, sir.

Sir.

Hey!

Sir.

Do you know him?

Mmm.

I know him.

Sir?

This is you, right?

Yes, sir.

What exactly happened that night?

I was just doing my job.

But they tortured me to smoke marijuana, sir.

I couldn't stay there. So, I ran away from them.

Why haven’t you been to work for the past week?

What are those bruises?

-That is… -No need to be afraid.

Sir, customers usually

tend to behave very brutally with us.

They pay us just to enjoy watching us suffer, sir.

My last customer burnt me with his cigar, sir.

I was in a lot of pain. That's why.

You’ve endured a lot.

Did you really run off just because they asked you to smoke marijuana?

Not like that, sir.

-Hello? -What, sir?

You’re back to square one again?

No matter how hard you try, you won’t be able to solve this case.

A man killed his wife and then reported her as missing to you.

You couldn't do anything despite finding her body, right?

You have to search for answers where you lost them.

-You're doing everything wrong. -Who are you?

Hello?

Hello?

Sir.

Albert!

Sir.

Quick, trace the last call I received!

Dude, I left the station.

It seems like this problem will drag on, I have no idea what's going to happen.

We’ve unnecessarily gotten ourselves tangled in this situation.

Sir. Stella's missing case file and the dead body case file.

Did you trace that number?

No, sir. They used a stolen phone.

That number is switched off. We couldn't trace their location, sir.

They called you last,

and it was traced to the TR Patnam Road area.

We can track them down if they you call again.

Oh! I have to inform you if they call me again?

No, sir. I've given that number to the Cyber cell.

The next time they call, their location will be tracked.

It’s not a case of rape.

You need to find out whether it was a suicide or a murder.

That's not my wife's body.

From her dress code to her weight, every detail matches her.

Sir, you think I can't identify my wife?

A man killed his wife and then reported her as missing to you.

He burnt me, sir.

The scar on my wife's body…

[distorted voices]

-Lawrence? -I need to file a complaint.

He’s keeping something from us, But, only he knows the key to the puzzle.

Trace his phone

and get me every destination he’s been to.

Sir.

Sir, no one's inside. The gate is locked.

-Go ask the neighbors. -Okay, sir.

Hey!

Want some tea?

Sure, uh… no! I’m good.

Don't be scared, I won't hurt you. Have some tea.

-Okay, sir. -Just don't drink from my glass.

This has become a habit.

Aren't you Lawrence's mother?

Yes, sir.

We’ve been looking for you. Come with me right away.

Come with me immediately.

What went wrong?!

All the details Lawrence gave about Stella in his complaint are correct.

That day, he confirmed it after seeing the dress but quickly changed his statement.

-Ask around about him in the neighborhood. -Oh, God!

What are they even doing here?

Come on, let’s head to town.

-What’s the matter, sir? -Stay silent, lady.

Where is your son?

He’s gone to pick up a load. He’ll be back soon.

Oh, no! What did he do now?

We’re losing our minds looking for your daughter-in-law,

but he's out roaming town.

That poor girl. He never lets her out.

What’s this, sir?

Wherever we go, people speak negatively.

What do we do now?

I don’t know when he’ll be back.

What’s going on?

Why are there no proper things in your house?

He’s selling everything in the house just to drink.

I can’t hold on to anything because of him.

He’s even taken my jewels for his habit.

Were you alone when your daughter-in-law went missing?

Yes, sir.

How much was it?

-What, sir? -The money.

How much money did she take?

I’m not sure how much she took, sir.

Didn’t she take it from your house before she left?

Only the Councillor will know about all that.

What do you mean by 'the Councillor'?

Ugh! Oh, no!

How does he know about the money taken from your home?

I don’t know much about the details.

Get your son on the phone.

-Tell him to come soon. -My phone's been down for a month, sir.

Weren't you the first to inform when your daughter-in-law went missing?

Why are you saying your phone hasn’t been working for a month?

This doesn't seem right.

-Why won't anyone say something good? -That…

Everyone is saying the same.

Sir, everyone is speaking negatively about him.

It looks like he won't even let her go out.

Even if she talks to someone,

-it seems he’ll scold her. -Sir…

Sir, give me 100 rupees.

-He’s taken money from everyone. -I'll go get tea.

-Why don't you be quiet? -What's the problem?

Giving some money won't hurt.

- Shut up, woman. - On top of that,

I heard he helps the Councillor with small chores often.

Sir, here he comes.

Fine, sir.

We're having an inquiry, let's go.

-Get in the car. -Sir…

Why do I need to come? I’ve got plenty of work.

Why are you taking me without telling me what's happening?

I’ll just make a quick call.

-All that can be done later, just get inside. -Sir… Sir, wait!

-Get in the car. -Sir, where are you taking him?

Sir, could you at least tell me?

Sir, where are you taking him?

Sir…

Sir!

Tell me! You killed your wife,

and now you're acting like you don't know anything.

Are you going to admit your crime or not?

Tell me!

Why did you murder your wife?

Spit out the truth, now!

The evidence of you being at the crime scene is crystal clear.

We know exactly how you treated your wife.

Take it off now!

I haven’t done anything, sir.

I didn’t do anything, sir, I swear.

I didn’t do anything, sir.

How much did you say your wife took?

-5 lakhs, sir. -5 lakhs!

You pawn things to buy booze.

You even borrow small amounts of money.

Did you have 5 lakhs with you?

You took the Councillor's money,

framed your wife,

killed her, and now you're pretending to be innocent?

Sir, that body isn't even my wife.

If you admit it,

I'll at least get you down to talk.

Otherwise…

Sir, it's not what you think.

That day, what happened was…

Hey!

Don't you feel ashamed doing this kind of work?

You orphaned dog!

You dare raise your voice to me now?

I married you out of pity!

You ruined my life,

and now you're talking as if you gave me one?

I'd rather die than live with you.

Listen, if you want to live, it will be as I wish.

If you want to die, that should be by my will as well.

Hey, give me 100 rupees before you go.

Hey!

Hello.

What? What do you mean?

I'll be there.

How many times have I told you not to wander around town?

You worthless animal!

Why are you kicking me for her eloping?

She was gone by the time I went to the store and came back.

I saved 1000 rupees in the spice box, and she took that too.

You old hag! Did she take anything from the room upstairs?

How would I know?

Oh no! What am I going to tell the Councillor?

Hey, at least give me the 100 rupees I asked for.

I'll finish you!

I looked for her everywhere,

but I didn’t find her.

It was only after that, that I came here to file a complaint.

You handle this.

-You won’t even give me 100 rupees. -Why don't you shut up?

I'll give it to you later, come inside with me.

Sir.

Sir…

I need to file a complaint.

Sir!

That wasn't my money.

The Councillor gave it for the load.

Please trust me, sir.

What were you doing there on that late night during the festival?

I don't know anything about the place.

After filing the complaint,

I was doing my usual work, carrying the waste.

I dumped it and left.

I don't know anything, sir.

After complaining that your wife is missing,

you went back to your usual routine in no time.

Do you expect us to believe that?

Sir, the Councillor and his lawyer are here.

Go on, I'll be there.

Sir, in which case have you brought Lawrence in?

He killed his wife and now he's acting like she's missing.

Hey, don't lie.

Admit that you're incapable of solving this.

You attempted to solve this case by bringing in that unclaimed corpse.

But now, you're planning something else.

You're talking like you've already decided.

-This isn't right! -Hey!

Sir, you're trying to turn the complainant into the accused.

This is completely wrong.

What evidence do you have?

-I don't have to share it with you. -Sir!

Without a proper FIR,

you can't remand someone.

You know that as well.

Playing the advocate, huh?

Albert!

Sir!

-Bring him in. -Okay, sir.

So, the victim is aiding the thief who robbed him.

I know whose money it is.

You'll be caught soon. I'll deal with it!

Get his signature and let him go for now.

Hey, let's go!

-Did you spill something to them? -No, sir.

I handled it by saying the money was for a load.

I didn't tell them anything.

Leaving him like that isn’t good for us.

I think you didn’t examine thoroughly.

Evidence of murder,

scars on the body,

didn’t you find any?

Did you perform the postmortem properly?

I don’t have a problem.

Why don’t you go to the court and get permission?

Also, get a second opinion.

I would never refuse.

But…

No matter how many times you check,

the result will be the same.

Besides, the corpse you brought was just half.

You expect me to find scars in all this.

Go, look for other ways to crack this case.

Did you find who did it?

One more thing.

The body can stay in the mortuary for only two more days.

Within that, find someone to take the body.

Or else, it’ll be on you to handle its last rites.

I only have the dress and…

am waiting for a scientific proof.

-Fine, I’ll leave. -Hey!

Yes, Doss.

We’ve stayed quiet because of your orders.

But now they’re trying to pin the unclaimed corpse case on him.

They ought to know we’ll back our men in tough times.

If not, our reputation will be on the line.

Being an outsider and serving as the Councillor,

don’t you know how tough it is?

Now that I’ve heard about this,

I’ll talk to him.

I can’t believe this guy.

He’s dragging this on and on!

-I’m so angry, I might even… -Sir…

Stay calm.

Let's not take drastic steps.

Hey, you get going.

Hey, wait.

Be careful. If anything like last time happens,

I'll end you!

Sir…

Just like the police said,

what if he stole the money, killed his wife, and pinned it all on her?

He isn't that smart.

If he really did that…

To get answers to all this confusion,

we need to trap him first.

Follow him to see what he’s up to and where he’s going.

Karthikesan…

What’s going on with the unclaimed corpse case?

Why is it getting complicated?

What’s the issue between you and the Councillor?

They’re saying you intend to close this case by blaming the driver.

There's no proper evidence.

There's no warrant as well.

It’s being said that you took him to the station, hurt him,

and threatened him into giving a statement.

The elections are approaching.

If they begin protesting,

I’ll have no choice but to side with them.

Sir, in his wife’s missing case, the suspicions clearly point to him.

But, do you have an evidence?

Were you able to prove that the corpse is his wife?

Why are you mixing up the two?

Sir, his wife…

Even if the corpse is his wife,

close the case by declaring it as a suicide.

We can deal with it later if anything comes up!

Karthikesan… [phone rings]

I'm saying this for your own good.

If there’s any update on this case,

inform me first.

How can you be so certain just from a dress?

Isn’t there another girl in the same dress who’s still alive?

-Son… -The number you're calling…

Just one selfie!

Get lost!

Sir, just give me two days.

[phone rings]

Go on, pick it up.

Sir?

We were following Lawrence.

Remember the place we raided that day?

He’s in that area, carrying a bag.

That place is known for hawala transactions.

What is he doing there?

I'm not sure, sir.

Sir… Sir…

The other guy we saw in that CCTV footage.

The money has been changed. I'm on my way!

Dinesh's friend.

He's here too.

What are you saying?

Hasn’t he gone abroad?

Something's wrong.

Corner him and bring him in.

I'll be there soon.

Okay, sir.

Sir, you follow Lawrence.

I'll follow this guy.

Hey?

I can't ride a bike.

Get lost!

Hey, stop!

Hey… Hey… Wait!

Hey, Hey!

Sir.

Dinesh's phone is still switched off.

And he's wiped out his call history.

Sir, everything's set.

[dial tone]

Ugh, seriously? You call me this late?

Are you that jobless?

Or have you found something?

I guess I am getting close.

I’ll send you something in the morning. Need your report soon.

Oh, my! Is it a hand or a leg?

Neither, but something different.

Careful, man. Don't land me in a pickle like the other case.

Writing its report will drain me!

I'm still waiting for that bottle you promised me.

I will, in due time.

Don't forget to send your report, first thing.

Alright, alright!

Sir…

Why did you bring me in? I'm innocent, sir!

Drop the act and tell me his name!

-Dinesh. -Where is he now?

Why say you were in Singapore? What’s the reason for you to go?

Stop threatening me, sir. I said I'm innocent.

I missed my flight last moment.

Which is why I'm stuck here.

It's been 10 days since I last saw him.

I was only going inside a shop. But then you arrested me for no reason.

Get up and follow him.

Now!

It hurts, sir!

Sir, please! Spare me!

Sir?

Coming?

I'll join you.

Sir…

I'll come clean.

Stop, stop!

Listen to me!

-Leave me! -Don't. Someone might come.

You'll get delayed to go.

-Let go! -Fine, go.

Damn it, I missed it.

I've sobered up now.

-We must get out of here. -If I catch her…

Get on!

Dude, dude!

Look there.

Isn't that her?

-I'm going to… -Whoa, wait.

Let me try talking to her.

Dude, it isn't her.

But it looks like it's her.

Let me try talking to her.

Hi.

Don't be afraid.

Nothing, umm…

It's…

He wanted to…

It's… just… the two of us.

-Can you adjust for… -What are you yapping about?

Don't worry about the money.

I think you're mistaken.

Come with us.

You!

What were you thinking?

Let's get out of here!

I said, come!

Start the bike.

Hey, I'm staring to panic.

Where have you brought us, man?

And why here?

You don't worry. It's a safe place.

No one will find us in here.

Hey, listen!

Man, I'm sorry!

-I didn't mean to-- -Screw you!

Was this even necessary with what's happening?!

My life was at peace for some time.

How will you board your flight after causing another row?

What will I do alone when you're gone?

My passport hasn't come yet.

I'm sorry, man.

We didn't do anything to her, anyway.

Once she’s awake, we’ll send her off.

Please, man.

Please, please.

Please, please! Forgive us!

Please don't make a noise!

-We're sorry. -Sorry…

We… We won't do anything to you.

We were hoping you'd wake up and apologise.

-Sathya, tell her. -You can be on your way.

We won't harm you.

Please.

Ask her to trust us.

Please trust us and leave.

Get me a cup of tea.

Fortunately or unfortunately, you'll kidnapped me.

I was already in another pickle.

Had you left me then, I would've been on my way. But till that ends, I cannot go back.

You have to take care of me till then.

What the heck? We said we didn't do anything to you.

But you're going overboard!

I was already going to die.

You two kidnapped me and tried to rape me.

What will happen of you if I tell this to the police?

Shut up, will you?

But we're innocent!

I never said you'll did it.

Wha… [phone rings]

-Hello? -Hello, am I speaking to Dinesh?

Yes, and you are?

I'm the constable of Neravy Police station speaking.

Go on, sir.

Your passport has come for verification. You must come to verify it.

Sure, sir, I'll be there. Listen, lady, please!

We have to make it to Singapore next week.

Please don't ruin… Else you'll spoil our future!

Don't worry, I won't stick around for long. I'll leave soon too.

Until then, you will do what I say.

Let go, man.

We have no choice but this. You've missed your flight.

If we can tolerate her till then,

we can both leave together next week!

What say?

Give me your phone.

I've switched them both off and I'll get us spare phones.

No one must know that we're here, though.

Two weeks passed, sir.

Our tickets didn't get confirmed by then.

We drained our accounts too.

She only had foreign currency with her.

That's when you'll caught me when I went to exchange it.

We didn't do anything, sir!

-Please trust me. -Sir, don't blindly take his word.

Been holding his act from the start!

Where are both of them now?

Hey, get on your feet!

Albert!

Hey.

Aren't you…

Albert, show me the picture of Lawrence's wife.

I just can't take it!

So, you're not dead after all?

They’re torturing us because you’re missing.

But you're here, sitting all cozy and comfortable.

-Sir! -Kneel down, all of you.

Sir, the call you got was also from this phone.

So, you’ve all turned into our local James Bond, huh?

Let me deal with her case first.

It’s become such a headache.

-Hey, call the Councillor and tell him to come. -Sir.

Sir, no, please!

Please don't call him.

I won’t trouble anyone.

I’ll leave right away. Please don’t call him.

Lady, get on your feet.

Sit down.

It's not up to the mark.

I'll send you a video.

Do it just like in the video.

Got it?

Oh, my!

Look, I won't be in town tomorrow.

-The money's in the bag. Got it? -Yes, sir.

Take it, but be careful.

-Tomorrow is very important. -I'll handle it.

Understand?

-Yes, sir. -I'll get going.

Okay, sir.

Lawrence is my mother's brother.

After my parents passed,

I was left all alone, orphaned.

So, my grandmother took me to her home.

Once I got there, before I could even think,

she married me off to him.

From then on, my hellish life began.

After a certain point, I started hating my life.

That's when I made a decision.

Die, you witch!

Rot here without food and water. Only then will you learn your lesson.

Hey, give me 100 rupees before you go.

Hey!

All I wanted was to escape that place.

I didn't have any money.

I didn't know what else to do.

That's why I took the Councillor's money and left.

Here.

Your situation is incredibly sad,

and the MLA keeps pestering me.

-Hey, take her into custody. -Everyone, get up.

Sir!

Hey! Ask the lady to come in.

Take a seat.

Take her to the MLA's house first thing tomorrow.

To hell with that MLA and Councillor.

This issue is just another problem!

Sir, please, don't!

Please leave me!

I'm not going to anyone's home.

I'm terrified, sir.

He must have definitely seen me.

He probably saw me for sure.

I'm not coming, sir.

I'm not coming there, no way.

Once I escaped from there,

I didn't know where to go.

I didn’t know how to change the cash I had.

Fearing someone might spot me,

I walked by the bridge.

Suddenly, a car drove past me.

I hid there out of fear.

That’s when…

There's no proper evidence.

Close the case by declaring it as a suicide.

inform me first.

There lived two naive foxes in a forest.

They decided to go on a hunt after a dire situation.

They may be naive, but they're still sly, right?

They'd surely have a trick up their sleeve.

One day, in a forest where no being was around,

a hunter with a plan treaded along that way.

Poor things didn't realize that.

Where there's a forest a king is sure to stand guard.

As the king stood valiantly,

the foxes hid out of fear.

A hungry wolf happened to pass by, pleaded to the king.

Unaware of who hunted the prey, the king gave it all to the wolf.

The foxes spent so much effort, only for the wolf to take it all.

With a happy grin, the wolf walked away.

This angered both of the foxes.

Then, they decided on something.

They got ready for their next hunt.

This time, their prey was…
