But I'm holding the party to introduce you to our friends

I'll be back Friday, you can have it then!

It'll be too late by then.. Mardi Grass (carnival) will be over

Philip, let's not start this again okay! I really like you a lot

But I think it's a little too early for us to stop dating other people

Too early for you maybe

You know I haven't even looked at another girl since we met

I haven't

Look! I wasn't born yesterday

and you my dear are a natural born lady killer if I ever met one

So don't lay down ones that are rules for me while you follow another

I'm not a hypocrite Emmanuelle

I only hope I get the chance to prove it to you

Having trouble?

Trouble?

Yes, I'm having trouble

I'd call for help but I don't have a phone in my car

I'll tell you what I'll give you a ride just into the next town, okay?

Do you mean you'll let me in your transport?

Yes, hop in..

My name is Emmanuelle

I am called... Haffron

Haffron? that's an unusual name

Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?

A long ways from here

Hill I assume that, you have an unusual accent

Another transport is headed towards us!

Why are you laughing? we could have been killed

These transports are so difficult to maneuver

What do you mean by transports?

This, it's so primitive

I had trouble keeping my transport on the black path

I see

You're not in trouble with the law are you?

The being inside that transport was very hostile

He caused me to stop and ask me if I was drinking

He then tried to force me out of the transport

And I knocked him to the ground and kept going

Oh, my God! You shouldn't have done that he'll think you're resisting arrest

Resisting arrest?

Yes

And that's bad?

Well it certainly isn't advisable

This sounds very pleasant sound..

..is there a word for it?

Yes, I I believe it's called.. music

Ah, music

Don't you need to make a phone call.. about your car?

Oh that, I do not want anything more to do with that, I had trouble keeping mine on

On the black path, yes I know

Hi..

Can I get you folks today? /Umm

Coffee and a glass of water, please

Haffron, would you like something?

Water

Yes, I think I need some water

Ok

I think if it's more than water you want, she could take care of that for you

She was coming on to you

Coming on?

Oh, Don't tell me you don't know what that means!

Do not know

She wants to have, sex with you

Haffron?

Excuse me mam.. a young man you where....

Is he friend of yours?

Actually I.. I met him on the highway his car is broken down

It's not his car

I pulled him over on a suspected DUI, ran the plates after he took off on me

It's stolen

You are looking for the young one?

Yes!

He just lets through the opening in there!

What is going on?

Pardon me

He took off

So he is a liar

Hmm too bad. /it's courageous

Yeaa he certainly was

Look, I lost my appetite, thanks anyway

No problem honey

Would it be possible to get a ride?

I'm not going far, just a few miles beyond

Okay, come on

I wonder if he got away

Got away?

My friend in the diner turns out he's still in a car

What does this mean stole?

Took something that doesn't belong to him

Him that's not right?

Ah, thank you for telling me, I won't do it again

Would you mind telling me what's going on here?

You sound exactly like Haffron

I am Haffron

It's true, we rode together for an hour

I have known many, of your kind since I came here

But you, there is something very different about you

You seem very courageous

Stop the car! I'd like to show you something

Please, until now you've shown no fear at all

Give me your head!

Hold tight to me

Whatever you do don't release my grip

Emmanuelle?

I was afraid that travel would affect you this way

Transportation is complete

Maintaining open at seven point three clings above surface

Where am I...?

You are on our transport

Don't you recall meeting me?

Yes, on the road after I left New Orleans

Full ship's company present and welcome to aboard

What am I wearing?

You are in the uniform of our ship. /How could I?

Never mind, I don't want to know

I was the first of our group to walk on your planet

Although not in this particular form

Perhaps I could help if I took the form in which we first met

We have long ago unlock the secrets of transmutation

So that wherever we are we can assume the shape of the dominant species

Any species actually, but the dominant one is naturally the one of interest

We are scientists, here to collect data

Your world is so different from any of the others we have visited

With your war and social destructions that exist

We believe this may be the result of.. your methods of reproduction

By taking your form we experience your needs as you do

We have all of your instincts, but we are at a loss to understand

That is why I came

in hopes of finding one of your kind that might help us understand

I believe I have found what I am looking for

I think I'm going to faint

Theo, your toast is ready

This wasn't a dream after all

A dream?

Yes you, you sleep to recharge yourself and

While you sleep pictures come to mind

Yes, that's exactly the type of translation we have been looking for

Where we come from these things don't exist

And other things too

The for instance we have noticed that there are two types of beings

One is shaped like myself

And the other is shaped like you

Canyou explain why this is?

Well, I

Do you remember I mentioned sex?

Yes..!

That's what I was talking about that the difference between you and me

It's the way we procreate, and show affection from one another

This

This is affection

Yes, yes I felt this for you earlier

Captain Haffron, your internal liquids pressure was rising

Captain Haffron, your internal pressure is rising precipitously

All crew, don TE monitors now!

Internal pressures still rising

Galvanic response up 13%

Tasha, your pressure drop to 27%

Captain, metabolic rates are dangerously high

Captain, advisor halt all activity me immediately

Captain!

Captain!

Captain!

Unregulated activity has ceased, cleaning droids to chamber six

You say this does not always result in procreation ?

Not always

You have a completely different system than ours

When we procreate we merely divide ourselves

I like your way much better

Are all other women exactly the same as you ?

No,no two are exactly the same

I think I'm going to go back down to your planet and...

...figure out these differences for myself

You can't do that

You can't go demand sex their rules you have to follow

Rule?

Yeah, you know,

Oh no, do you people have lost for everything?

Yes, but I have a feeling you're going to master them very quickly

There's some place especially I'd like to take you

And there's a very important lesson, that I want you older

Was it less difficult for you this time?

Slightly yes

Haffron, can I change my appearance the way you changed yours?

There's someone in here know and...

...just this morning we had an argument about seeing other people

You must concentrate on the image you want to be

When you have it firmly in your mind, press this button!

Alright, I'm your sister okay?

You are my brother

My name is Lisa, you're Harlow

But trying to say much, okay? just watch and listen!

She was very hostile

I can't just ask for sex directly

The requires, seduction

Seduction?

Yeah..

It mean.. okay see them?

He's trying to say something to her to make her laugh, I feel comfortable

He's trying to make himself attractive to her...

...and as if he succeeds then maybe show independence expy

And only the men have to do this?

Ah, no.. it's usually easier if a woman seduces the man I'm nibbling

Huh, look she's trying to seduce you right now go ask her dance

Dance?

Yes, just move exactly the way they are! okay?

Usual Jack!

Thanks

Hey, got a cigarette?

Got a lighter? /Sure

Got, New Orleans certainly is a madhouse isn't it?

It's the first time we've been to Carnival my brother myself!

I don't do not know even know sir on his party!

Looks like your brother just got lucky

Hmm.. yeah

So that why you come here?

To got lucky?

No, I'm the one who's throwing this party

Haah, you?

That's right

And your wife is?

I'm not married!

But umm.. she's out of town right now

Actually she's usually in a town

We only see each other about once a month

So you must miss her?

No..

I see..

Just because we had argument this morning

Really.. what's argue about ?

Well, she's a very remarkable woman, beautiful, adventurous

You might say she's a real free spirit

Ah, I really think that's what starts to threaten me

So I sort of did this jealousy routine

But she said I had no right to be jealous

That I was probably the one that was sleeping around on her

Are you?

Emmanuelle!

What did he just say?

Uhh.. a man in the well, it's a family joke, so you wouldn't understand

Excuse me

Excuse me for a minute please, sorry

What are you doing?

I've done it.. I have seduced a woman

That quickly?

Yes, she said we should leave, and she'll do anything I want her to do

I, I don't know Haffron it, sounds a little suspicious

Listen! I'm gonna get out of here for a while you won't come along

I thought it was your party?

They're all grown-ups they'll be all right

I just need to change the scenery

I've got my brother here and he's.. gotten lucky, so

Well they can both come along

Okay, why not?

Come on take me to the bedroom, I do not have time

You do not have time?

She is a professional

Yeah it sure looks that way

Hmm.. no, gotta learn for himself

Well, honey, let's get going, I need the money first

Money?

Yeah, you know like I said the bar

Ahh.. $200 and I'll do anything for you

Wow!

What's money?

I'll tell you what

This one is on the house

So, you were gonna tell me whether you've ever cheated on your girlfriend?

No, never

I had you all wrong

I have a feeling she's moved on to other things

How did you know her name?

She sent you here to do? who are you?

But I do not understand

If you had such bad feel so bad feelings for him why did you have sex with him?

He was impossible to resist Haffron!

Remember, men and women have to trust each other to fall in love

Love? What is love?

All in good time Haffron All in good time..

Theo, your toast is ready.. Theo, your toast is ready..

I am honored that you selected me to be your guide

And I'm certainly tempted to take you up on it

But in fact is I've got a life to attend to and

...and as much as I'd like to remain here with you

I don't think I can

For example, I've planning a cruise of the Nile for over a year now and...

If I don't return to Earth immediately I'm going to miss it all together

We do not ask you that you discontinue your life...

...Emmanuelle, we ask only that you let us accompany you

But if you accompany me you become my life

Is that so bad ?

No it's, not that bad it's just it's a huge responsibility

And the knowledge you're after is very complicated

I think you maybe able to find a better teacher than myself

We are very satisfied with our choice

We ask only that you take us with you where you go

Yes, It is

I've seen him buddy

So how was it on deck?

Very exciting, there are a great many women on this ship

That's not exactly what I meant

Now you pissed lady off, Buddy

You know, the only con pissing me off is you

So if you don't mind, why didn't just go on?

Some people are always trying to ruin a good sign

Are you sure you don't want to stop at the one of the sides along the way?

This area is full of history

We aren't so interested in your history!

We are interested more in the way you are now

The way your bodies function

The way you interact

Are you suremy appearance is pleasing?

Does it suit me?

Yes it, suits you just fine

Appearances mean a great deal in matters of sex don't they?

They matter, but it's not the only criteria

It's the soul of the person, that was most important

The soul?

Yes, the essence

The life force

The way it's manifested in each person

You see, this is why I'm not sure I should be your guide

I don't know if I can explain things to you so that you can understand them

But I do understand

Your essence is the reason selected you

Haffron, do you think you would recognize me if I look totally different?

Yes, I am certain of it

Well, let's make a bet!

A bet?

Yes, a challenge

I'll transform my parents...

and you have to figure out which one of the many women on this ship I am

If by the time we reach Alexandra you can identify me

How remain as your guide

And if I cannot ?

I'll leave

I wish these were not your terms

But because I am certain I will know you, I accept

Good

Where are you going?

To arrange for new combination

And don't follow me, that's cheating

I will know you right away

Hey Baby

Do you mind?

Well ahh, come on my travel agent

Said this It is open to singles cruises, ah?

Why don't you go swing some place else?

Yes, you heard her, go swing some place else!

You, you know you really starting to annoy me?

There always has to be someone to spoil you a good time

That's what I was thinking

I thought so, yes!

You thought what?

That, that is what you were just thinking

What are you Psychic?

If you're psychic why don't you tell me a little bit about myself

Well, you're very beautiful

Oh, I like this!

And, you're very fond playing games

Sometimes, go on

And, you and I've met somewhere before?

Ah, your psychic powers are failing you now

Perhaps, you are pretending you do not remember?

Oh, I think I definitely remember you

Because of my essence?

That's an interesting way of putting it

I'm Ursula

Yes, I teach a class in ancient mythology

You're a teacher?

Hahh, We'll only part-time I'm a graduate student

I am a student myself

Really? in what?

Study of humanity

Oh, you mean anthropology

That's my major too at a coincidence

Coincidence ?

Yes, you know, a lucky accident?

Of course, I don't really believe in accidents

You don't?

Oh no, I think everything happens because it's meant too

Don't you agree?

I think you're right

I'm going

How did you happen to decide on tha me?

You remind me of someone, I know

Really?

Yes, an old boyfriend

He has a sense of humor exactly like yours

I'm sure we have many other things in common

Actually you do

There's a striking similarity, physically I mean

I have somethings to do right now

Could we meet back here later?

I'd like to buy you a drink if I might

I could use the company?

Yes, yes I would like that very much

Exactly like Walter who could never stop looking at other women either

I.. feel very strange

Well you've only had six beers

Do you think that is the reason, why I feel very strange?

Hhh, I said so

Feel very good,

Good strange

Yes, yes it is, God I fee so.. adventurous

Do you know people on holiday do things they wouldn't ordinarily do

Tell me more that I was your student

The Captain is aroused again, thank you

Hahh? What did you just say?

I think you heard me?

I'm so sleepy

I'll see you later on tonight okay... in the bar?

Of course

Someone's looking for you

Oh?

Two people actually

A drunk you knocked over

And that blonde you were with the other night Ursula

She said she went to your room last night but you weren't there!

Thank you for telling me, I'll have to avoid her

You'll have to avoid her?

Yes, she is not who I thought she was I have found you

I love this song

You do?

He probably thinks I'm a barfly

Usually when I travel I don't spend this much time at bars

But I'm I'm sharing a room with a complete stranger

I'm doing everything I can to stay away from her

How did that happen?

Hmm, there was a mixup

I was supposed to be in another room and...

It's not that interesting

I think it is very interesting

Where are you from?

Where do you think I'm from?

I am not sure

That's really unusual because I've been all over the world and

You should I can tell what someone's from almost immediately

You know Haffron, I'm a total baguette bond

So you know my name?

I wasn't spying or anything

I just happened to overhear you introduce yourself to that girl

God, this boat feels like a fishbowl

I feel like I haven't had any privacy since I first boarded

Well, you can have your privacy once again

I know the truth, Emmanuelle

I'll beg your pardon

Oh, very well if you insist

So your name isn't Emmanuelle?

No, it's Louise

Well…

He couldn't keep it zipped either!

Who she is, Haffron? Who is she?

It's all over for you last night, who are you with?

Me!

Well, can have him the big CAD! (a liar)

So you slept with her too?

Yes, but only because I thought she was you

You what?

Never, in a million years!

Then I was double for me!

You want a piece of this?

He's all yours

I don't think he saw anybody

I don't think he's all they're!

Looking all over for you

Serves you right!

CAD! (a liar)

Haffron, are you hurt? are you okay?

Emmanuelle, it's you!

What did you say?

It's you, I know it's you because you care

You're the only one who does

Yes, Haffron, you're absolutely right

I like you much better in this uniform

Thank you

Why didn't you admit it was you the first night?

I guess I just wanted to see how much faith you had?

Faith?

Yeah, naturally you didn't have nice

So I have lost a bit?

You, you are leaving us?

No, I'll stay until you leave

Where until I teach you everything I can

Till the comes first

So this is music

I wanted you all to want you all to hear it because but we call love is provoked by more than just our bodies

There's a feeling we call romance and...

Music is just one of the many elements we use to bring it up

And what are the others?

Well, anything that creates a certain mood a certain atmosphere

For example, if a man and a woman are having dinner together by candlelight, music and food

In the words of one of our greatest minds if music is the food of love plan

I thought food was just to sustain the body?

Well yes it is, but it depends on how deep

It's very hard to explain

You don't have to explain Emmanuelle, I understand completely

Good for you Raymond

I like to meet the person who makes the music

Well, that shouldn't be so hard to arrange she's a friend of mine

We lived in the same apartment building together in Paris

Do you think your family pleasing the way I look

Because I can take another for me?

Oh no, I don't think it is necessary

So like you just fine

But don't get your hopes up, she's married

Married?

Yeah, you see when two people love each other enough

They make a promise to one another

They promise to be together, just the two of them

Oohh...

Emmanuelle! it's been years

Too long

Where have you been keeping yourself?

I've been traveling Marie, this is my friend Raymond

Hey, Raymond, it's nice to meet you

It's very nice meeting you also

Come in, come in

That was the last record I made almost, almost two years ago

After Richard left me it, just... I just didn't have the desire to play anymore

I'm sorry, Marie

But if other couples I knew I thought you and rich would last forever

Well we didn't

He met another girl and, boom that was it

We haven't spoken in over a year

I'm sorry, Raymond

I just met you and Here I am telling you my life story

I find it very interesting, but I wish you'll play music

I wish that too

Is this the instruments you use?

Well... yes

Where did you two meet?

Actually, it's a long story and we really should be going

No!

Emmanuelle, I wish you wouldn't, it's so nice having you here

Why don't you spend the night?

He obviously has an interest in music

And no natural ability

We're not together, you know

You don't have to tiptoe around me

Emmanuelle

Raymond is a very special man

He's got, it why should I put this a very strange sense of humor

He'll say things sometimes and you won't realize he's joking but he is

Emmanuelle stop, you're embarrassing me

and one more thing, if anything does happen tonight

Don't fall in love with him!

Nothing's going to happen, now good night

Raymond, I'll show you to your room now

Farewell, I wish we had instrument like this where come from

And where's that?

Two thousand light-years away

Emmanuelle was right, you're very funny

Now tell me really, where exactly do you come from?

2137 light years away

Thanks! I need a good laugh!

Oh, this thing so out of tune

Do you hear that?

Why did you stop?

Because…

Because it's the first time I've

And then tonight we can go out

Marie, please stop!

Raymond and I have gotta leave

We'll stay until after breakfast, but then we've got to go

But why?

We just do

Emmanuelle

Raymond is a grown man

Perfectly capable of making his own decisions

Raymond, can I have a word with you? alone!

I love Marie

Raymond, you have no idea what love is

Love is, you have to know someone a long time to be able to say that you love them

And you can't build a relationship on lies

You have to be honest, you ...

All right listen, I'll leave you here, for one week

He might get scared if he sees you

Very well

Emmanuelle

You haven't lost your touch have you

Thanks, but I've decided it's just gonna be a hobby from now on

That's how I ruined my first marriage rehearsing all the time

First marriage? you're not planning on getting married again are you?

Well, actually yes

I know it's hard to believe but Raymond and I are engaged

We've, we've planned a little celebration for tonight

And since you're the one that introduced us

You can be the guest of honor

Marie, I told you

I told you not to fall in love with Raymond he can't get married

Why not?

Because he's taken another, vow haven't you Raymond?

No, I don't know what you're talking about

Emmanuelle, I've had just about enough of this, I would...

A hang-up

Happens all the time

It's probably Richard

Richard?

I think he calls just to check up on me

Maybe he's trying to reconcile

I used to hope so

Hahh, now look Emmanuelle!

If you're gonna wish us well that's one thing

But if you're gonna come around here acting like you're Raymond's mother

Well then I'm sorry but I don't want you around

Of course, I understand

Where's Raymond?

He refused to come

Then I'll have to

No, no, I don't think that'll be necessary

There's something about Marie that I'm not sure Raymond knows

Actually , I don't even think she knows herself

Thanks, baby

See you next time

I still did not understand what you have in mind

She's still in love with her ex-husband if there's any way that I can

What I was going to say is if he hasn't attached himself already then maybe I can get them back together

Now I'm not so sure

Emmanuelle?

This is certainly not expected

Why would he he expected this we decided to come here only moments ago?

Richard, this is my friend Haffron

How are you?

I am tickled pink to meet you

Ah, well come in

Thank you

You look beautiful as ever can I get you a drink?

Sure, whiskey on the rocks

Anything for you?

He doesn't drink

Before me...

Have you seen Marie?

Yes, as a matter of fact I did

I spent a couple of days with her

She was very lonely, Richard

Oh?

Actually, I should say she was a lonely

I introduced her to a friend of mine and they hit it off pretty good

Well good, good for her

It's about time she got on with her life

You know, she claims you call her all the time

She says you hang up whenever your voice

She does huh?

Richard, listen to me.

If there's just the slightest chance that you're still in love with her

You better act fast

She's rushing into a marriage with a friend of mine and

If she goes through with it... it's gonna be a big big mistake

So if it's pride that's holding you back

Do yourselves both a favor, swallow it?

Tell Marie I wish you the best

Your plan is a failure Emmanuelle

I'm sorry but force is the only solution

Wait a minute, we don't need Richard

You can be Richard or someone that looks just like him

Yes, you're right

No, it will never work

Why not?

Because Raymond will know it's me

I'll walk in with you and he will know right away

Then, I'll just have to take on another for myself

Yes

Marie, it's so good to see

Don't you remember me it's Alexandra from the Music Academy

Alexandra, of course I remember you we'll come on in

I have a date

Well, he's welcome to

Great, come here

Terry, this is my old friend from the Music Academy

How would... Come in!

This thing itches, Emmanuelle

Well it won't be for very much longer Haffron sooner or later she's going to make a move

Good, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to seduce one of the other women here

Well, this is for Mary and Raymond ...

Well things have moved along so quickly, but I would like to propose a toast to their, happiness

Cheers..

Oh! Oh I'm sorry I'm let me clean you up is there a sink available?

Right over there!

It is good

Can I help you?

I'm was looking for my coat

You're wearing your coat

Oh, yes, I see now that I am

Richard, what are you doing here? and disguised like that?

Richard? My name is Terry

How can that be?

You look exactly like him

You even sound like him

Maybe you don't look anything like him

Maybe I'm just drunk and that's what I want to think

You should not be sad

You're going to get married

Should be very happy

But I'm not

I should be, but I'm not

Can I ask you a favor?

Yes

Can I touch your face?

Can I ask you another favor?

Yes

Will you kiss me?

Your fiancee is an old friend of mine

Fiancée?

I'd say the woman you're about to Marie

Oh, yes, I love her very much

Well she certainly seemed to like my date a lot

Date?

The man I brought with me

It seemed to me she liked him even better than she liked you

I didn't notice

Well I did

I think you're mistaken

Hahh, I don't think I am

Captain Haffron has done it again

Please standby all stations

All metabolic indicators functioning

Blood flow to bring down 74%

You know marriage is a very big sell

It means forever

Do you have any idea what that means, Raymond?

Better than you

How would you know any better than me?

Because I'm not one of you

I'm from another place a long ways, away

Oh, I see

And you think you're ready to live your life as a human being?

Don't you see how quickly you reveal that to me

You'll never get away with this

So it's you Emmanuelle

And who's that with you? Haffron?

I'm going back to the transport, Emmanuelle

Sure, I'll see you later?

Don't blame Haffron, it was my idea

I don't blame anyone

You're right, and I was wrong

But still, I cannot help it very sad for Marie

It was cruel

But, the only thing I could think of

Broken is a big part of love

Richard? Is it really you?

It's not too late
