And so, there's still some lingering feelings,

I struggle to wrap my head around the mindset

that she had no red flags

when she was sending that text of like,

"This might be insensitive." I really...

can't get my head around the fact that that was just like,

unintentional.

-Malaysia, she invited her friend,

who is a sister of the stripper,

"unknowingly" to her Cinco de Mayo party.

It just seems weird to me.

-The more times that things keep coming up,

I'm like, it just aggravates me.

because I feel like I'm being very misunderstood right now.

When Nicole and Matt called me out,

I feel like that was strategically planned.

I feel like they knew what they were gonna do,

and I feel like it was very calculated.

I really had to think about whether or not

I've been trying so hard to gain her trust

and build this relationship with her.

that your brain, your heart,

and the base of your spine, the root, is all connecting.

What we're trying to do is really observe

what thoughts start coming in and what needs to be let go of.

We're gonna start just three deep grounding breaths fully in.

-I will resort to anything that helps.

Have you seen my life and my workload?

-And then, closing the eyes and going to the heart space.

And then, setting an intention that you would like to receive.

And then while we're in the heart,

entering into forgiveness

for self,

for the things that we've judged and that we can let go of,

my heart is okay to forgive myself.

I hit a certain point where...

I don't know why I'm getting emotional again.

So I know that you mentioned, like,

a lot of your childhood memories came flooding back.

I thought that was super beautiful.

Why do you think you've suppressed them for so long?

-We went through, like,

a lot of really hard things when I was younger.

Like my parents divorce, there was abuse in the home.

I have a picture of me, like, when I'm 3.

That picture and knowing, like,

what was going to come for, like, me...

um, abuse in the home, emotionally and sexually.

And that's, like, what triggered the divorce.

It's hard for me to comprehend

that I had a dad that looked at me

and still made the choices that he made.

As I was sitting there, memories, like, just started

to click in, and I was like, "whoa!"

I think my body had blocked out a lot of, like,

not just, like, the bad memories, but like...

-Like, some of the good.

-That was a very weird experience.

So, my dad passed away in 2020.

It was a closing of a chapter of a lot of hurt.

I would never go as far as to say

that I'm thankful for the divorce and the situation

because of the hell that it brought into my life.

But I will say, [ Sniffles ]

it's really helped me to become

a better man and a better husband

and a better father,

and more so now than, probably ever.

-I actually have done that, too.

-What was it for you?

-Um...

I was sexually abused as a kid.

And so, a lot of, like...

a lot of my happy memories, too, I block out.

And for me, it's more a feeling of unworthiness, like,

and it doesn't make sense to, like, the outside world,

but to me, I'm like, "okay, so I was sexually abused,

I must have done something wrong."

So, the good memories that I do have...

or didhave that I block out, I didn't deserve those,

if that makes sense.

I feel like there's always been this unspoken bond

So, I left to pursue commercial a bit more.

and I just walked right into some more of that.

And I was like, this is not

what it was painted out to be, you know?

I've just been exploring other options.

I mean, there's always the chance that I could

leave Presidio, go to another brokerage,

I treat this like my baby. I give it my all.

But agents have the option to change in a heartbeat.

It feels personal to me.
