=Love in the Edge of Divorce=

=Episode 20=

Why are you leaving?

Is that a yes?

Yes.

Did you hear?

Grandpa said yes.

Tell me earlier

before you do this again.

I don't like this kind of surprise.

Are you angry?

I want him to know

you're a good girl.

It's inappropriate for me

to see your grandpa now.

I'll divorce tomorrow.

Wait for me.

(Dad, )

(I'll divorce Fu Yancheng tomorrow.)

(Maybe it's the best for us.)

(How I wish)

(you could be by my side)

(at this moment.)

(Dad, )

(I miss you so much.)

(May 30th)

How time flies!

You've grown up.

How I wish

I could accompany you for longer.

He passed out.

This terrible man.

How could he leave

all his property to Sheng Mian?

We need to plan ahead.

Don't worry. I'm here.

When Sheng Zhong dies,

we don't need to date sneakily.

(Oh, I see.)

(No wonder Su Lan easily)

(stole the company's money.)

(They've been having an affair.)

"I'll leave all my share

(Signatures) and my property

to my daughter Sheng Weiyuan."

(The will must be a fake, too.)

Grandpa,

I don't mean to keep it from Yancheng.

Mian,

you're a good girl.

I know you must have your reason

for all of this.

I'll keep your secret.

When you want him to know,

you can tell him yourself.

Grandpa.

Actually, I'm here

to ask you for a favor.

What is it?

It's my family business.

The Fu's gave us two rounds of funding.

Theoretically, our capital chain

wouldn't have been broken.

But when my father was sick,

there was no money in the account.

I suspect there's a problem.

Our companies have frequent transactions.

I wonder if I can investigate

through your company.

And...

I also suspect there's a problem

with my dad's will.

Who do you suspect?

Su Lan.

But it's just a guess.

I can't expose her

without conclusive evidence.

So...

Please help me, Grandpa.

Mian,

I'd love to help you.

But I'm old

and fuzzy-headed.

I can't even read account books.

I really can't help you.

I'm being thoughtless, Grandpa.

But I think of a man

who can lend you a hand.

Will you let him do it?

I'll certainly accept

whoever you recommend.

OK.

I'll tell Yancheng.

Let him check the accounts.

Hey, Grandpa.

Come on.

You just said

you would accept my recommendation.

Now,

only Yancheng knows the best

about the two companies

and has the most connections.

If you don't agree,

I can't do anything else.

But...

Mian, for now,

don't divorce Yancheng.

Your marriage with him

will only facilitate you.

When your father's case is over,

you decide whether you'll divorce.

I give you my word.

I won't interfere with your decision.

OK?

Grandpa, I should go.

Good move.

Grandpa,

did Sheng Mian come again?

Did she change her mind again?

She did.

Sheng Mian was here.

She did it again.

But she said

she wouldn't ravish you against your will.

She'll divorce you.

But before that,

you have to give her a hand.

Her family is in trouble.

Again.

Tell me, Grandpa.

What happened?

I guess her stepmother

colluded with someone

to steal company money.

Investigate for her

and see what exactly happened.

Also,

after you finish this,

I promise you

you'll marry Penny.

Are you serious?

Of course.

On the condition

that you help Sheng Mian find the truth.

OK. I'm on it.

Oh, wait.

Do it

discreetly.

You do it personally.

Since you and Penny love each other,

let her join you.

OK. I get it.

I believe

as they stay together,

Sheng Mian won't want to divorce Yancheng.

(Welcome to our engagement party.)

When is our appointment?

At three.

We have one hour.

There's still time.

Mr. Fu?

Oh no. What a coincidence.

It truly is a small world.

(Welcome to our engagement party.)

Mr. Liang.

Since when are you a janitor?

Mr. Fu,

what a coincidence.

I have a renovation project here.

I'm measuring the hotel.

Do you think I can't recognize it

when your face is stained?

Liang Hanqing,

will you still not tell the truth?

What's your relationship with Penny?

It's too hard for me.

I can't offend Penny.

Nor can I offend you.

I'll be screwed anyway.

Let me be honest, Mr. Fu.

Penny and I aren't a real couple.

We didn't mean to lie, really.

Say it again.

We didn't mean to lie.

Back up there.

Back up?

Penny and I aren't a real couple.

I knew she wouldn't love someone like you.

That's right.

This is your present.

Password is her birthdate.

Such a rich man.

He knows how to insult.

But I love it.

Don't tell Penny

we met today.

If she knows,

I'll make your studio disappear.

Don't worry, Mr. Fu. My lips are sealed.

He's really weird.

No wonder Penny doesn't like him.

Why was so much money given

to this company?

Dad never told me about it.

Are you keeping something from me?

(Oh no.)

(Grandpa must have)

(told him everything.)

(What do I do?)
