In our first two days on the farms, romance blossomed.

- Cheers. - It was very beautiful.

This is like a dream. I don't want it to end.

But with five ladies on each farm...

I'm excited to live the farm life.

...Rivalries began to surface.

Joy is so far up your butt, if she was any further,

She'd be popping out of your mouth.

And our farmers had to make some early decisions on who would stay...

And I'm hoping y'all all can stay here on the farm with me.

...And who would go.

The spark for me isn't there.

I truly do believe he's gonna find his person and I will, too.

Tonight, it's our first get-together at the clemson football game...

- Let's go! - ( cheering )

...Where tough choices will be made.

And the decision for today will be

Who you're gonna take on your next solo date.

- I'm curious about you. - I don't want him

To pick someone else for the solo date.

Some ladies strengthen their connection.

I look forward to getting to know you more.

Others are at risk of burning their bridges.

- He barely looks at me. - I think I haven't, like, really opened up to you.

He's spending so much time with joy.

Jennifer: It's been just one week on the farms,

As our ladies road test life in the country

With the farmer of their dreams.

But there's a surprise in store for everyone

As our farms come together for the first big event.

And another big decision is on the horizon,

Because our for farmers will have to decide

Who will get the next all-important solo date.

( vocalizing )

- Has anybody ever swung a rope? Roped a dummy? - No. No.

- All right. - From my past relationships,

I've learned a lot about myself and what I want.

I've been married, been divorced.

She was a city girl, and this lifestyle,

You have to want to be a part of it.

But it was never first and foremost to her,

So it ultimately-- it didn't work with our marriage.

- You just let go. - I'm absolutely ready to be in a relationship,

But it has to be right.

- ( shouts ) - yeah! We are good at this!

So, last night, made the decision to let erin go home.

Ty: The other ladies, brooke, amy, melody, and megan,

I want to get to know 'em.

My future wife could be in the house right now.

- ( groans ) - almost.

Does it have to be this big?

I mean, I like big things, but...

Bigger loop, the more you can catch.

I love seeing ty in his element.

I'm excited to get to know him better

Because I think he's going to be wanting to commit

Compared to the city guys.

I'm actually impressed by that.

I already feel something with him,

So I'm hoping that, you know, it goes well.

Amy: It's a little bit difficult to see

Some girls getting more attention.

This process is harder than I expected.

I do feel a little bit reserved.

But we don't have a lot of time here,

And some of the girls are a little bit ahead.

So I realized I need to open up a little bit more.

Jennifer: In colorado, our most remote farmer, brandon,

Is still sharing his home with all five ladies,

Despite some tricky dynamics.

It was pretty hard last night.

Girls are starting to get a little jealous.

Hopefully, there's not too many feelings hurt

And everybody understands the process of trying to find love.

- All right, do we need eggs? - Yes.

- I'll go out. Okay! - Let's go get chickens!

Hey, sugar!

- Aah! - ( squawking )

Oh, well. That didn't work.

- ( laughs ) - all right, let's just get the eggs, okay?

- What we came here for. - Oh, my god.

- Did you kiss him, though? - Um...

- I think I saw a kiss, reba. - Look what we got!

I want to know what he has planned for a date.

I know! I hope it's cute. He seems romantic.

I would take that 24-hour date again and again and again.

Um, there's a possibility that yours could be mine.

You know, I'd take her under my wing.

I think brandon and I definitely have a spark.

I mean, that has a massive potential to grow.

And the bacon's almost done, too!

But at the same time, it's difficult to have a conversation with brandon

When there's five of us trying to chime in.

So I was definitely disappointed in brandon last night

That he had the opportunity to send joy home and he chose not to.

I just am not sure if I've met a less authentic person.

- Perfect. - Like, she smiles when she speaks.

Nobody is just like that all the time.

That's just not natural.

It smells good in here.

- How does it look? - Looks good. Looks really good.

- Do you want eggs? - Yeah, I'll have some eggs, please.

It would mean a lot to me to find love here with brandon.

Brandon: There's another small town here.

On holidays, they do a chocolate festival.

- Oh, that's so cool. - I love chocolate. I could bathe in chocolate.

- ( laughter ) - seriously.

Grace: I can tell joy rubs reba the wrong way.

She's barely tolerating her at all.

I definitely don't want to get involved in any of the drama,

So I hope that everybody else can kind of get along.

I'm here for brandon and that's my focus.

- Clean up. - It was really good.

- Jennifer: In florida... - Where are these guavas at?

Yeah, it's over by the cattle pen.

...Farmer nathan has four ladies on his farm,

And today they're doing an activity close to his heart.

What you kinda want to do is you look for 'em to be, like, yellow-ish.

Like this one's probably pretty good.

Guava picking, it's one of my favorite things to do.

- Whoa, that's cool. - Who's next?

I grew up with my grandfather and grandmother always making guava jelly.

It's kind of like a family tradition to do.

And so hopefully they'll enjoy it as much as I do.

- Ooh. - Now I'm just picking 'em for taylor.

- Thanks! - Come to mama!

- There you go. - Kristin: With nathan right now,

I'm feeling good about everything.

I feel really blessed with such a sweet guy.

Finding my person and having a family one day

- Has always been a dream for me. - Squeeze!

I'd be interested to see what would happen

If we were able to spend some one-on-one time together.

Was a strong presence and he's confident.

I know it has only been a week,

But I want to have that feeling where it's like,

So I wanted to check in on her, see how she was doing.

So how are you feeling about everything?

- It's interesting. - It's a lot with four people

And one guy living in one house, isn't it?

Yeah! Like, you know, of course, it's very difficult

To be dating the same person.

So, like, I'm struggling just a little bit.

It's definitely a hard experience.

Yeah, at the end of the day, I always live by the saying,

Like, "if it's meant to be, it's gonna be."

Are getting a taste of the realities of farm life.

So y'all saw the wood-burning furnace,

My dream goal with this farm

Is to be as most self-sufficient as I can.

Okay, so we're gonna cut some stumps up.

It's hard work out here, but I'm hoping that I can get

A strong-willed, kind, trustworthy woman to help me out.

Sydney: My dad owns a construction company

And I would always go with him to bring your kid to work day.

And I just loved it. I'm a laborer.

I do work with my hands.

Whoo! Good job.

Mitchell's definitely, like, my cup of tea.

- There you go. - A manly man.

...I've just loved everything I've seen from him.

- Kait, you gotta try. - This one's ready for you.

She's got a great work ethic.

I know this is totally new territory for her.

But I'm a little wary that she might be turned off

By some things here at the farm,

And I'm looking for someone that just truly

Wants to share this farming lifestyle with me.

- This is an arm workout. - ...Two-pound pilates weights.

- Literally. - It's hard. It's a lot.

I don't have much, um, experience in this department.

I come from los angeles,

So I've never been on a farm.

I know with more time that we'll be able to learn more about one another.

Because I want to see if there is potential for a future there.

Jennifer: On the quest for love,

Sometimes everyone needs a break.

And their ladies together to let their hair down.

The football game is a chance for the farmers

To build those essential but budding connections.

I can't wait to experience time with him outside of the farm.

Because at the end of the trip,

The farmers will be choosing who to take

On the next romantic solo date.

So we're off to a college football game at clemson university.

Annellyse: So excited seeing all the women. I love football so much.

I'm not going to flirt with him while the other girls are around.

How was the first week on the farm?

It's been good. It's fun.

Has-- any kisses?

- Just reba. Just reba. - Only kissed me once.

- I love that! I like that. - Okay?

It was an innocent peck, you know?

These girls all want the dirty details. I don't have any.

- Brandon. Good to see you, brother. - Mitchell. You, too.

You guys keep everybody around through the first week?

Ty's shaking his head. What's going on?

It's one of them things, man. Let one of the girls go.

Sweet girl. You know, the way I thought about it,

It's not "farmer wants a friend,"

It's "farmer wants a wife."

- I hear you. - Good for you on staying true to the process

And just taking the hard part right out of the gate.

- What about you? You send anybody home? - No, I didn't.

But, brittany, I don't know if she will be very happy on the farm.

I definitely am learning. So, we'll see.

Yeah, my week's been like a roller coaster.

You know, I picked makenzie to come back for the 24-hour date,

And then makenzie's dad had a family emergency.

- Oh, jeez. Aww, dang. - So she wasn't even able to make the trip.

And then made, you know, some really good connections.

Seems like I'm hitting it off with a couple of the girls.

And then rachel seems to kind of be backing out.

It's been ups and downs for sure this week.

You guys been doing any kissing?

Melody and I, have to say, that first date, we had a great connection.

So did you get a kiss at the end of the night?

Yeah. I stole one there away.

Went okay with reba.

After you make it through the first date,

Then there's a little pressure to get more attention.

Eventually ended up with a kiss.

How's your daughter? I've been thinking about your daughter.

Oh, she's good. I got a voicemail from her the other day.

She's like, "I missed you this whole time."

Aww! 'cause she's with your mom, right?

- So, how has farm life been? - Good.

- Like, brandon is the sweetest. - Okay.

What did you do on your date?

We had dinner in his, uh, potato house.

And then I had this other little mini pre-dinner talk.

- You did? - And I snuck him a kiss.

- Yeah. I was like-- - you snuck him a kiss?

Well, I need to make sure that he's okay

Because he's been spending a lot of time with a girl

That I think is so inauthentic.

I do feel that he has a good heart.

That's why I feel like I'm so protective over him already,

Because, like, when things aren't matching up,

Like, I mean, I take pride in being real.

I'm just hoping that as I whittle down it gets easier.

But it's probably not gonna get easier.

All these girls came out and helped us harvest.

- Got a lot of natural farmers in my group, I feel like. - Whoo!

Fantastic. What about you, mitchell?

Really been enjoying these girls. Been cooking a lot.

- Is he a good cook, ladies? - Yes.

Today will be a great opportunity for you to connect,

Which I know is super important to each of you.

I come from very humble beginnings.

I grew up in a family

Of all strong-minded middle eastern women.

I'm very old-school old-fashioned, you know?

Love first, marriage, family.

My strategy to get closer with brandon

Is just to show him that I live up to my name-- joy.

I'm always happy-go-lucky, very outgoing.

- Can you catch a ball? - Positive.

Joy and I kind of-- we have just that natural energy connection.

So I felt naturally attracted and enticed to get to know joy.

That was good.

Reba: I know that brandon is navigating this the best way he knows how.

And if he wants to see things through with every girl here, I have to respect that.

But at the same time, he's spending so much time with joy

And giving her so much attention,

So, tell me though about your experience at the farm. Have you enjoyed it?

Yeah, I've had literally a great time, actually.

Going into this, I know who, like, I wanted to be here for,

You know what I'm saying? Which is you.

And now, I feel, like, really serious about it.

But I feel like you've been handling everything well.

- I want to see it sometime. - I can-- I could whip out a few flips.

- I'm hoping we can deer hunt when we get back. - I want to, too.

Yeah, we gotta get in a deer stand, for sure.

- Yeah, I want you to see me in my natural habitat. - It's my natural habitat.

- But, yeah, I mean, we can share it together. - Yeah.

I'm just happy to be here.

So, my favorite part of, like, tailgating

Or going to a football game is actually dressing up.

I would-- you wouldn't be able to find me.

Brooke is refreshing, very outgoing,

And very assertive in a great way.

Her energy's perfect.

Just got to see where it goes.

Joy: Everything you touch turns to gold.

- ( laughs ) - jennifer: On brandon's farm,

Reba's issues with joy are showing no signs of cooling off.

- Brandon doesn't know how to two-step. - Oh, I know how to two-step.

Brandon!

Reba: I came here to get to know somebody and fall in love.

I don't want somebody who is inauthentic to get in the way of that.

( joy laughing )

Joy is so phony.

I consider myself very sweet.

( laughs )

Like, come on. Like, you think you're genuine?

With reba, you could just kind of feel the jealousy.

But when emotions do get heated

And there's some tension, it's hard.

Definitely worried a little bit about the situation.

Joy: I was completely blindsided.

It hurt me when she hit below the belt.

Grace: Definitely was hoping we could avoid the drama.

It's a crunch time to spend time with brandon right now.

It's a little bit stressful.

I don't know what you want me to say.

You told me that I am fake and that, like...

- True. - ...And you don't like how I smile with everything I say.

- Fake. - I am joyful. I have a big mouth.

I have a big smile. This is how I talk. This is who I am.

If you think that's fake, I'm sorry.

That's a you problem, not a me problem.

Like, I just can't stand inauthenticity.

I hate to be the guy that steps in, but let's be very respectful.

I picked all of you for individual reasons,

And you're all somebody that I feel like I might be able to find that match with.

So I feel like I should give everybody that fair chance.

No judgment. No worry what anybody else thinks of 'em.

I feel like it was inevitable.

We're living on top of each other.

It's, like, a lot of girls in one house.

We all just have to remember, like, we're in it

For a connection and for ourselves,

And that you shouldn't get caught up in other people's kind of situation.

Brandon: Grace is very patient, very kind.

Kind of smoothes things over.

She is just calm in the chaos.

I'm not trying to show any form or level of disrespect.

I do, like, want to apologize.

Like, of course, I don't want anybody to feel ostracized

And ganged up on. Like, that's not my objective.

You're always at the forefront of my mind.

And I'm not here to say, like, I'm the one for you.

And maybe I'm not, but I do feel like you deserve to find love.

I do understand where you're coming from and I respect that honesty.

You've gotta just let things run their course and trust who you are,

And that I will notice you for who you are.

Reba: I do worry that I came off a little bit too strong

When I expressed my concerns with joy.

I really do truly have good intentions.

I'm honest and I'm thoughtful and I'm caring.

I am hopeful that brandon sees who I truly am.

When brandon looks at me, it gives me hope.

I'm not gonna give up.

I do appreciate the honesty.

I think, you know, we kind of cleared the air. Like, I--

Yeah, I have nothing but respect for you.

Brandon: It's a hard process.

Reba and I have a good connection, but she has some strong emotions.

I find joy very open and genuine.

I hope that the girls on the farm and myself

Can all get on the same page and get back on
