Nathan: I'm a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer,

And so it's kind of been in my blood my whole life.

And to keep this beautiful thing alive is very important to me.

I was dealt a pretty rough hand growing up.

My dad passed away when I was 12

And I felt like I needed to be the man of the house,

To always provide the best for my sisters and my mom.

I matured a lot faster than a lot of people my age.

I know I'm young. I'm only 23.

But now I feel like I'm ready.

I'm ready to find that true person,

Settle down and have family, have kids.

This farmer wants a wife really bad.

I grew up around agriculture,

And that's something that I know that I want in life.

In labor and delivery, postpartum,

And I really love it.

I love that field, medical field,

Because I feel like, well, it relates a lot to agriculture.

If you can help with a baby calf,

I feel like you can handle-- same thing.

So, what are your future goals and what do you look for?

Yeah, I love my job, but in the future,

I would definitely want to transition into that stay-at-home role.

My mom was a stay-at-home mom for a lot of my childhood,

And it just made a big impact on my sister and I.

I love it. My mom, she raised me all by herself,

And so having somebody that works full-time

And still being able to have that connection with her kids,

I mean, it put a lasting impact on my life

And how much of a strong woman my mom is.

I love that you're so close with your mom and your sisters.

Family's a big thing for me, so I definitely can understand that.

Makenzie: I'm feeling really good.

We're farming right about 1,000 acres of ground.

There's a lot of pride in being a potato farmer.

You put your heart and soul into everything that you do,

And I don't know if there's anything that I've found yet

That's as rewarding as being a farmer.

It is remote. Our closest city is two hours away.

The closest airport's four hours away.

Dating in the valley is very hard, you know?

If you don't get married early,

It's pretty hard to find somebody later here.

The dating pool's pretty tight.

The whole reason I signed up for this journey was to find love.
