Original subtitles

I heard he was going somewhere.

Tell me where he went.

Where is he going all the time when we're busy?

Is he ditching work again?

Call Detective Kang.

Yes, sir.

The line is currently busy...

She's not answering.

Call Detective Goh then.

No, forget it. I'll do it.

Hello? Where are you?

Didn't you say you were going home?

I'm sorry, Bong Sang. I'm at Gyeyangjin.

What on earth are you doing over there right now?

What kind of detective is on the phone all day?

Who is he talking on the phone with?

Something urgent came up. Let's talk later.

Gil Young, wait. Hello?

Hey!

- Yes, Boss. - Where are you?

I'm here to catch Gu Byeong Gil.

You know, that theft case in Yangja-dong.

What about Detective Kang? Is she with you?

Yes, she's with me. But Gil Young is currently...

Do you know Octopus, the friend of Gu Byeong Gil?

We caught him right now.

Hold on.

Gil Young, the boss is on the phone.

Hey, what's wrong?

What are you doing?

Gil Young, don't do that. This is your last chance.

Sir, I have to stop Gil Young right now.

- I'll call you back. - Stop her.

Gil Young, you brat.

- I'm sorry about the phone call. - It's fine.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear you are doing well.

So what brings you all the way to Gyeyangjin?

I have something to ask about the Song Hyeon Ju case.

What about...

that case?

You know...

that it was the last case Mom was in charge of.

Yes, it was.

How's the investigation going?

We just found her body.

We'll have to start investigating now.

But it's already been 20 years.

The statute of limitations has expired.

Even if it has expired,

we have to catch the killer.

We have a suspect.

I saw it on Mom's note.

That's ridiculous.

Why?

Because she is famous now?

That was merely your mom's groundless claim.

Then why is a congresswoman...

No,

why is Park Hong Joo, the daughter of...

Gyeyangjin High School's director a suspect?

You were team members with Mom back then, and you probably know.

On that night at the school,

a guard testified that he saw Park Hong Joo...

and Song Hyeon Ju talking.

But he changed his testimony shortly after,

saying he got confused with the date.

On the day she went missing, Congresswoman Park Hong Joo...

was with her family.

Park Hong Joo was the daughter of the director of that high school.

You know well enough.

Witnesses change their testimonies all the time...

and they're not even indicted.

Eventually, the whole thing gets covered up.

We must re-investigate.

Where is that guard?

Gil Young.

Your mom was amazing.

She was a talented detective.

She was kind to me when I was a rookie,

and she deserved to be respected.

I still can't...

forget that day.

I'm at the private villa at the intersection of Yunmyeon 2-ri.

Bring all the backup you can.

The person who received her last call for backup...

was me.

It still feels like...

there is a knot inside my heart.

In my 20 years as a police officer,

I regret that moment the most and it hurts me.

I feel the same as you.

I want to solve your mother's last case.

However, for this case, your mom made a mistake.

She claimed it was a murder without any evidence.

But she was right.

The girl wasn't just a runaway. She was murdered.

I'm talking about suspecting Park Hong Joo.

I still don't understand why your mom had that absurd idea.

Gil Young, this is what I told your mom as well.

If we mess with someone like Park Hong Joo,

people like us will end up losing our jobs.

You know that too.

Park Hong Joo?

You mean that local Congresswoman?

Yes. It seems like...

she had been living in Gyeyangjin until 20 years ago.

Gyeyangjin High School was owned by her family.

She was the director of the foundation.

Hold on.

When your brother's case happened,

she must have been living in that area.

Yes.

Around that time, she resigned as director.

What about the recent possession cases in Sangyong City?

They happened around the time...

when she won the by-election in Sangyong City.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

It's a possibility.

So far, she is the only person...

who has been in contact with the possessed people.

All right. Let me call you back.

Detective Kang.

How did it go? Is there any suspect in the Song Hyeon Ju case?

Why do you want to know?

Her body was found right next to Priest Choi's remains.

It must have something to do with Park Il Do.

We don't know about that yet.

It might be a simple murder.

Seriously.

You said we should catch Park Il Do together.

I just heard something incredible.

Have you heard of Park Hong Joo?

Park Hong Joo?

I just talked to Priest Mateo on the phone.

The possessed people are related to Park Hong Joo...

through Sharing Hands.

That can't be just a coincidence.

The suspect in the high school girl case is...

Park Hong Joo.

Why did you skip the Bible study and went to an internet cafe?

Just because. It's boring.

He's over there.

Do you know what happens if you skip Bible study...

and lie?

You'll receive serious punishment.

Like what?

You'll go to the fiery pit.

The biggest Satan there...

will make sure you can't play any more games.

The Satan is super powerful.

You sound like an old man.

An old man?

You're so boring.

Right back at you!

You little brats.

I'll tell the priest to punish you guys.

Whatever.

Where are you going? You little...

You saw everything?

You haven't changed a bit.

You still tell silly jokes to kids who skip services.

You did that to me too.

Your brother was the only one who played along with my jokes.

What brings you here today?

You want more information on Sharing Hands?

No. I'd like to ask you something.

Last time we were in Gyeyangjin together,

we saw that lady,

Congresswoman Park Hong Joo.

Congresswoman Park?

I told you about her.

She's been helping Sharing Hands, and I owe her a lot.

Haven't you noticed anything strange about her?

Strange?

It seems like...

she is related to the people possessed by Park Il Do.

Kim Young Soo, Choi Min Sang, and Kim Yoon Hee.

All of them.

Are you saying Congresswoman Park is Park Il Do?

Do you seriously believe that?

Isn't that just absurd?

What makes you think so?

The reason why she met the three of them is...

because she's been active in Sharing Hands.

It's nothing strange.

Most of all,

she is a devout believer.

She comes here all the time.

She comes to the church?

In addition to her relation to Sharing Hands,

she even killed the high school girl?

She's more and more suspicious.

We don't know if she's the killer yet.

Okay.

Where are you going? Wait in the car.

Why don't you wait in the car?

This is not your jurisdiction. Are you allowed to poke around here?

You're reporters?

I kept saying she wasn't just a runaway,

but no one believed me.

No one was willing to write a line about the case.

We're dying to find the culprit...

in the Song Hyeon Ju case.

Me and this junior reporter.

Could you tell us what happened that day in detail?

The day she went missing.

If I tell you, can you find the person...

who killed Hyeon Ju?

We'll do our best.

My husband and I have...

said this countless times.

She never came home from school.

She just disappeared.

Without even leaving any message.

Without even a word.

Did she know someone suspicious?

No.

She would always come straight home after school.

She's a runaway?

How could a deaf girl even think of running away from home?

She was deaf?

She always was.

When her parents got divorced, we took her in.

She was our only grandchild.

After she went missing,

my husband drank himself to death.

Hoping she'd come back,

we didn't even throw away any of her stuff.

She wore these...

the day before she went missing.

I didn't wash them...

so that her smell wouldn't disappear.

My husband and I...

went and bought these clothes for her birthday.

Ma'am.

I'm sorry, but have you ever...

seen this woman...

since that day?

It's a recent photo, so she might look a little different.

I'm not sure. I don't think I've seen her.

Has any other suspicious person been here?

Not really.

But a female police officer came here every day.

She was the only person who trusted us.

She said she had a daughter herself.

Later, I heard that...

she died on duty.

My goodness.

Her statement is consistent.

The same thing is written in this notebook.

Will you be okay?

No, I won't.

She forgot my birthday while investigating that case,

so I threw a tantrum.

To be working on that case myself,

I feel like I'm being punished.

Hello. Have you found him?

Why?

Okay. Thank you.

Who is he looking for?

There's a person who saw...

Park Hong Joo with Song Hyeon Ju that day.

It's the security guard of Gyeyangjin High School,

Kim Noh Seok.

He says he later changed his testimony...

and now is in a psychiatric hospital.

- For what? - A severe paranoia.

He says someone is trying to kill him.

Just make sure you keep the safety rules.

But I think...

he won't say anything to strangers.

Mr. Kim Noh Seok.

We're police officers. We have a few questions.

20 years ago, you were working in Gyeyangjin High School.

Do you remember the incident that happened to this student?

The student's name is Song Hyeon Ju.

You testified that you witnessed Song Gyeong Ju meeting...

the director of the foundation, Park Hong Joo late at night, right?

See? I told you it won't help.

Since a few years ago, he barely speaks.

He says he'll be killed if he speaks.

Killed by whom?

Sir.

Who is it in the drawing?

Have you seen the person...

you're drawing? Is it why you're drawing the person?

You have seen the person, haven't you?

Park Il Do.

Is it him?

Mr. Kim Noh Seok. Are you okay?

Take a deep breath.

Breathe slowly.

It's okay. Calm down.

Breathe.

Hello, Ma'am.

Hello.

You must be new. I haven't seen you before.

I'm from a different parish.

I'm here to see Father Yang.

I heard a lot about you from Father Yang.

I heard you sponsored Sharing Hands.

Actually,

I have seen you recently in Gyeyangjin.

In Gyeyangjin?

At the police station.

I see.

What were you doing in the police station?

My family was...

involved in a case.

I see.

Ma'am.

I hope everything works out well.

Ma'am.

Yes.

I have a question.

Do you believe in the almighty?

Yes.

And you don't believe in...

Satan and demon, right?

That's correct.

Ma'am, we're running out of time.

See you later.

See you later.

It's Park Hong Joo.

Park Hong Joo is Park Il Do.

Don't jump to conclusions. We don't know it yet.

You saw the picture of Park Hong Joo scared him.

He saw Park Hong Joo possessed by Park Il Do.

He's a patient.

It could be just a seizure.

And if Park Hong Joo is Park Il Do,

why didn't he possess the security guard?

He could have possessed him and killed him.

He didn't need to. He's like that.

I'm sure the drawing was Park Il Do.

He said the man in the picture was trying to kill him.

That's Park Il Do.

Hey, where have you been?

I've been outside the whole day looking for you.

I was like an unemployed father today.

I'm sorry. The lunch is on me today.

I want seafood jjamppong.

When the chief comes, we will tell him...

that we got Octopus. Do you understand?

What did you do in Gyeyangjin?

Well...

The skeleton of a girl who went missing 20 years ago...

was found.

It's the last case my mother worked on.

I understand what you mean.

But Gil Young,

it's outside our jurisdiction.

I know.

But as my mother said,

it was a murder, not a disappearance.

There's a suspect as well.

Who is the suspect?

Park Hong Joo?

Park Hong Joo, the politician?

Where's the proof?

My mother's notebook.

Your mother's notebook?

Okay.

Let's say she was right.

But she's a politician.

We can't investigate the testifiers.

We can't arrest her even if we have proofs.

This is a losing game.

Gil Young, let's drop this. Okay?

My mom was the only one investigating this case back then.

After her accident, the case was covered up.

If we investigate it thoroughly...

No, whatever.

You can't. I'm telling you, no.

We'll all be fired once we start digging things.

Like you said,

it is difficult.

The only witness is a mental patient.

I'm glad to hear that. Just forget about the whole thing.

I'm losing my mind because of you so early in the morning.

- I need some coffee. - Get me one too.

I didn't get any sleep.

I should've been strict on you since you were a rookie.

How can you make your boss get coffee for you?

Hello?

I'm Detective Kang Gil Young of Sangyong Police Station.

A detective?

I'm investigating a case. May I ask you something?

Do you know...

Song Hyeon Ju from Gyeyangjin High School from 20 years ago?

My daughter went to Gyeyangjin High School too.

May I have your daughter's number?

Hwa Pyung!

Hwa Pyung!

You are not my son.

Die!

Can I get in?

I have a reserved guest. Sorry.

Yes, this is Congresswoman Park Hong Joo's office.

Hello there.

Is Congresswoman Park Hong Joo in the office right now?

I want to meet her as a local resident.

She didn't come to the office. Which party are you from?

I'm not from a party.

I'm a taxi driver.

I want to talk with her regarding raising the taxi fare.

I see. She's busy these days,

so send your complaints via email...

- Hello? - Where are you?

Get in.

You met Park Hong Joo? What are you talking about?

She came to pray at the church.

To pray? She prays?

She came inside?

Father Yang said she was a devoted Christian.

So I checked.

She really came inside the church...

and prayed.

That would be impossible if she was possessed.

You could me mistaken, or she could have fooled you.

No, I saw her clearly.

Goodness, what is happening?

What happened at Gyeyangjin?

Are you sure Park Hong Joo is the culprit of that dead girl's case?

Yes. We met a witness from back then.

He's in a mental hospital,

and he threw a fit when he saw Park Hong Joo's picture.

He wasn't threatened to stay quiet.

It seemed like he actually saw something terrifying.

That's probably why he went mentally ill.

Park Hong Joo is Park Il Do.

The date that high school student disappeared...

was one week before my brother killed himself.

Park Il Do was in my brother's body,

not inside the body of the person who killed the girl.

I thought about that.

Park Hong Joo probably went back...

after burying that girl's body.

She was worried someone might see the body.

Killers often revisit the crime scene too.

That's where they met.

Instead of Priest Choi's body who was wanted by the police,

it needed a body that could move around freely.

And it met Park Hong Joo, whose mind was dark enough...

to kill a high school student.

That's when it changed bodies.

If Park Hong Joo is the killer of the high school girl,

I'm certain Park Hong Joo is Park Il Do.

Welcome. Do you want some tteokbokki?

I'm Detective Kang Gil Young, who called you earlier.

Oh. Why are you here?

I told you I don't know anything.

I just need to ask you a few questions. It won't take long.

Are you schoolmates with Song Hyeon Ju?

Yes, I am.

But I really don't know anything.

I heard you two were close.

When she went missing 20 years ago,

you talked to the police, right?

No, I didn't.

Honey, can you help me over here?

Okay.

I don't know anything. Don't come here now.

Wait...

Yes. What?

How is Song Hyeon Ju's case going?

Where are you now?

Here's what you ordered. I added some more.

- Thank you. - Enjoy.

Chan Su, no.

You have to be quiet. You're disturbing the customers.

Let's turn this off and play.

Okay? Good boy.

Good.

What? That detective is gone.

What's the matter?

It's nothing.

Just something from 20 years ago.

It has nothing to do with me, but she keeps coming.

It's nothing. Don't worry about it.

Here.

Are you okay? Are you sick?

I feel tired.

Can I go in and rest today?

Sure. We don't have many customers.

Take Chan Su with you and rest.

I'm sorry.

You should go with your mom.

Oh my gosh.

Why did you go alone?

I almost lost you!

Thank you.

You're Han Mi Jin, right?

What?

I have something to ask about Song Hyeon Ju.

Let's go.

We found Song Hyeon Ju a few days ago.

Her remains were found in a nearby mountain.

She died 20 years ago.

Shall I close the door?

It's okay.

But I don't know where I should start.

It's something I kept quiet about for 20 years.

Were you close with Song Hyeon Ju?

Yes, we were very close.

Were you with her on the day she went missing?

Tell us. Do it for your friend.

What happened on that day?

On that day...

like always, I was waiting in front of the school gate.

We always went home together after school.

We were in different classes so I was waiting for her first.

But Hyeon Ju didn't come out.

So I went to her class to look for her.

Answer me.

Answer me!

I said, answer me!

I told you to answer me.

Hyeon Ju was with the Director's daughter.

By the Director's daughter, do you mean Park Hong Joo?

Yes. Do you know her?

Why was she hitting her?

I don't know.

Park Hong Joo was notorious.

She was mean and selfish.

No one could stand up to her.

She'd even yell...

and throw things at teachers.

Seeing Hyeon Ju being scolded by her,

- I just thought she was unlucky. - Answer me!

- I thought it'd stop after a while. - Answer me.

No?

No?

Answer me.

Answer me right now!

She didn't move.

Like a dead person.

I was so scared. I ran out to get help.

What are you doing here?

- Sir. - What's wrong?

Help me.

My friend... Help me.

What? Your friend?

Okay.

What happened? Is Hyeon Ju all right?

What?

Yes.

It's nothing serious.

You should go home.

It's getting late.

I'm okay.

I want to go with Hyeon Ju.

Director Park will give her a ride.

Don't worry.

Don't tell anyone...

what you saw today, okay?

Go. Go now!

Go home!

Go! Hurry up!

The next day,

Hyeon Ju didn't come to school.

Not the day after either.

The teacher said Hyeon Ju ran away from home.

Why didn't you tell the police?

I was scared.

If I did,

I might have been kicked out of school.

The police said that she ran away from home too,

so I just thought I was mistaken.

But there was this female police officer who asked me questions.

She didn't believe Hyeon Ju ran away from home.

I decided to tell her everything when I meet her.

But the day before we were supposed to meet,

she died.

She got involved in a family murder case.

Are you willing to testify now?

- I can't. - Have you been...

blackmailed or something?

Well... I wanted to ask the guard...

what happened to Hyeon Ju that day.

So I went to talk to him.

Excuse me.

I'd like to ask you something.

About that day.

Didn't I tell you...

not to tell anyone about it?

Sorry?

He might hear us.

What do you mean?

Go now.

Hyeon Ju...

Stop talking about it!

Stop talking.

If you talk about it again, he'll kill us.

He'll kill both you and me.

That's why that female police officer died too.

Never talk about it again.

Never talk about it again.

If you do, he'll kill you.

"If you talk about it again, he'll kill you."

"He'll kill you."

I could never get it off my mind.

After that, I couldn't say a word about it.

I just told myself Hyeon Ju ran away from home.

That was easier.

Oh, my. My leg hurts.

Can't you drive better?

- Come here. - Go to your mom.

Come here.

I feel so sorry for Hyeon Ju.

I still have dreams about her.

She looks reproachfully at me.

Whenever high school girls come to our store,

I think of Hyeon Ju.

She was deaf.

I was her only friend.

And I couldn't tell anyone what I saw that day.

I think...

Hyeon Ju is punishing me.

My son can't hear well.

Neither of the witnesses can testify.

We don't need the police.

Park Hong Joo killed the high school girl.

She's Park Il Do.

We'll take over from here.

She might have killed the high school girl,

but I'm not sure if she's Park Il Do.

Fine. Let's say she's Park Il Do.

What are you going to do?

How are you going to exorcize it?

Hwa Pyung.

We're better suited for this job than the police.

Take your hands off the case now.

What are you talking about?

You've been trying to leave me out,

but I want to catch Park Il Do too.

I have to.

It's too dangerous.

You didn't hear what Kim Yoon Hee said?

We'll all die.

In the end, you'll all die.

You'll beat each other to death,

stab each other,

and cut each other's throat.

If you get involved any further, it'll get too dangerous.

Like I said, you should stay out of it.

Like I said, you don't have to worry about me.

Do you want to repeat what happened to your mom?

- You little... - That's enough.

Detective Kang, Priest Choi, please calm down.

We don't have time for this.

Hey, do you know any other exorcist priest?

I don't want to work with this jerk anymore.

Detective Kang.

Well done.

Why would you bring up Detective Kang's mom?

I told you to keep her out of it.

I know where you're coming from,

but we need detective Kang's help to catch Park Il Do, so please...

You want to put her in danger to get her help?

Don't you feel sorry for her even a bit?

I do. I do feel sorry.

Both for her and you.

Does that mean that I should keep you out of it too?

I can't. Why?

I just can't afford to do that.

I don't want any more innocent people to die.

We should get rid of Park Il Do and put an end to all this!

We're almost there.

Park Il Do is right in front of us.

We just need to meet Park Hong Joo to make sure.

I met her,

but I couldn't figure out if she was possessed.

No. I think I'll know.

I've been possessed by Park Il Do.

I must be different.

I'm a big fan of yours.

- Would you like some orange juice? - Yes, please.

Thank you.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Go for it. - Thank you.

Thank you.

- Enjoy the cold drink. - Thank you.

- We need more drinks. - Let me go get it.

Thank you.

Hello.

- You're Ms. Park Hong Joo, right? - Yes.

Hello.

Hello, I'm one of your supporters.

Nice to meet you.

I'm from your hometown, Gyeyangjin.

Are you?

Do you know...

that the skeleton of the girl who went missing 20 years ago...

in Gyeyangjin was found?

No, I've never heard about it.

Really?

I heard two skeletons were found there.

I've been busy with the local constituency,

so I didn't know what was going on in my hometown. I'm sorry.

I see.

Don't you know the dead girl?

Pardon me?

What do you mean?

She was a student of the school where you were a director.

Are you sure you don't know her?

I said I don't.

I see.

Then have you heard of the name, "Park Il Do"?

Ma'am.

Oh, my. Hello.

What brings you here, Father?

I came to do volunteer work for Sharing Hands.

I prepared a present for you.

Thank you for helping Sharing Hands.

I'll give it to you after the Lord's Prayer.

In the name of the Father and Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Defend us in the battle against lies and wickedness.

May our souls be with the Lord.

Amen.

I like it. Thank you.

There's no response at all.

Something is wrong.

Thank you. Enjoy.

Mateo.

Complete possession?

You have heard of it as well.

When a demon possesses a human for a long time,

the demon takes over the human.

It owns the soul and body for good.

Then it's not a possession anymore.

It's the demon itself.

Has it ever happened?

There's a record of some cases in foreign countries.

Even when the period wasn't long,

this could happen if the demon is very strong.

How can you tell if it's the case?

Is there any way to figure it out?

Well, it will be difficult.

A completely possessed human...

can go to churches.

A cross, holy water, and the Bible will hardly effect it.

It's bearable for it,

so it stays disguised.

- Is there any other way? - I'm not sure.

Unless the demon can't hold back its wickedness...

and reveals itself,

there should be no other way.

What if we exorcise?

Can we then kick it out?

There is a record...

that it worked that way after months and years.

Let's go meet her again.

What are you going to do then?

You just saw her.

The cross and the prayer...

didn't do anything to her.

I know.

Let's meet her again and just give it a try.

Let's make her reveal that she's Park Il Do.

How?

We can't even get near her. The woman is...

The woman is a politician.

I'm sure she knows you know now.

What if Park Il Do ditches her body and go somewhere else?

We should do something now.

Please calm down.

Don't you remember what happened with the brothers in the junkyard?

You got flustered and insisted the younger brother was possessed,

which almost got us killed.

We should find a way to check on her first.

A way?

A way.

How do you feel now?

Is your one eye still blind?

Is your right eye still blind?

The eye.

The eye. Her right eye must be blinded.

When Park Il Do was in my village,

he poked his eyes and jumped into the sea.

Is this why all those who got possessed...

poke their eyes?

Yes.

When Park Il Do possess someone, its one eye gets blinded.

It happened to my relative and to me too.

Let's check that.

Let's check that first and then exorcise. Is that okay?

I can't exorcise.

What are you saying?

I got dismissed from the position of exorcist priest...

because of Kim Yoon Hee's case.

I wanted to tell you, but...

This is an emergency. Let's just do it.

There are rules in church.

I can't just do it as I like.

You're talking about rules again?

Anyone can be killed any minute.

This is about human life. The rules are not important.

Fine. Don't do it. I'll do it by myself.

How may I help you?

I'm a citizen of the local constituency who called earlier.

Is Ms. Park inside? I need to talk to her.

She's not in the office right now.

We will call you later.

I will wait for her then.

You have to make an appointment before you visit.

You can't do this. Please stand up.

- Please stand up. - Hang on.

You can't treat me like this. I'm a voter too.

You have to make an appointment before you visit.

- Please come again at another time. - Wait.

Please come again at another time.

Fine.

Darn it.

Sir, do we have the result...

of the forensic test of Song Hyeon Ju's skeleton yet?

- What is the cause of death? - I can't tell you anything.

What do you mean?

I told you.

Don't make troubles with a closed case.

I told you.

- My mother's case... - I said she was wrong.

Do you know how serious this is?

You're violating one's right to investigate and participate.

I heard you even met the security guard of the school.

Yes. I'm sorry.

That person...

went missing after he met you.

He escaped from Songhak Mental Hospital.

What?

Since the day Kim Noh Seok met you,

he was different.

How?

He had less of the symptoms and drew less.

So I thought he was doing all right.

Anyway, we're looking for him now.

Did someone else visited him other than me?

No. There weren't any visitors.

But he started to talk yesterday.

- What did he say? - He mentioned a woman's name...

and said he wanted to meet her.

The name was Han Mi Jin.

Hello?

Yes, Father Yang.

I have something to ask you.

Songhak Mental Hospital was sponsored by Sharing Hands too.

- Am I correct? - Yes.

It's a hospital that we sponsored since our establishment.

You can't do that, sir.

No...

Back then...

you shouldn't have called me.

You shouldn't have called me.

- Yes. - How are you feeling?

I'm okay.

Are you sick?

- You should go to the hospital. - I'm fine.

I'm just tired.

You should go to the hospital. You never listen.

- What about Chan Su? - He's playing.

Close up early today and come home.

Let's have a beer together.

That sounds good. I'll get some chicken from the market.

- See you later. - Bye.

- What? - The hospital the guard was in.

Sharing Hands sponsored that hospital.

What do you mean?

Park Hong Joo and the guard might have met at the hospital.

Hang on.

The sound from the toy car.

- Han Mi Jin might be in danger. - What do you mean?

911 Emergency, to the rescue!

To the rescue!

Who are you?

Who are you?

Come here.

Step back.

Please help us! Please...

No!

Please.

- Please help us. - You shouldn't have called me.

You shouldn't have called me.

We're just playing hide-and-seek, okay?

This is just hide-and-seek.

Go inside.

- Hello. - You're back.

Did Han Mi Jin go somewhere?

She's at home.

What is this about?

It's nothing.

Darn it.

By the way, did a strange man visit today?

A man in his 70s.

Yes, someone like that was here earlier.

He seemed kind of strange.

- What's the matter? - I talked with Hwa Pyung.

Han Mi Jin is in danger.

He's not here. I can't see him.

Who?

The kid.

Move aside please.

What happened?

What on earth is happening?

What happened? I heard you reported it.

Do you know them?

Yes.

They were witnesses in my mom's case.

What?

Both of them were witnesses to the case...

that my mom was investigating.

It was a guard and student from Park Hong Joo's school.

Go!

Where are you going?

To catch Park Il Do.

- What will you do? - Anything it takes.

Are you going to kidnap and kill the woman or something?

If I need to.

I'll get rid of Park Il Do by all means.

If exorcism didn't work on my brother,

would you have killed him too?

Would you?

Getting rid of Park Il Do is my first priority.

If you kill possessed people, how are you different from a demon?

Because we didn't do anything,

another person died!

Hwa Pyung. Hwa Pyung!

What are you two doing now?

We have to stop him.

He's not in his right mind.

Zhongguancun became the new engine for China.

Berlin became the Autobahn for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Sangyong City should become the heart for Korea,

and Korea should be declared...

as a Start-up Nation.

Thank you for listening to me.

I hope to see you again.

Please give Congresswoman Park a big hand, everyone.

Thank you for coming.

Thank you.

- Take care. See you again. - Bye.

Congresswoman Park.

It's an urgent call.

Yes?

Hold on.

Wait outside. Let me finish the conversation.

Yes?

Okay. Are you sure it's been completely taken care of?

Great.

I told you to wait outside! Let me finish the conversation!

What is it now?

Why are you back?

Han Mi Jin...

and the guard.

You killed them, right?

You're crazy.

Go. I said, go.

Hey! Mr. Kim, where are you?

You killed innocent, powerless people.

Detective Kang, Mateo, and I lost our families.

Why?

What's the reason?

Go away, you scum!

Help!

Mr. Kim!

Where are you?

Park Il Do.

You're Park Il Do, aren't you?

You're crazy.

You can't see through your right eye, can you?

Let go of me, you creep.

You...

You got possessed as a kid...

and killed your whole family, right?

You really are Park Il Do.

Can you see me?

Answer me. Can you see me?

How dare you touch me?

You pig.

You insect.

You'll spend the rest of your life in prison.

I lost to you 20 years ago, but it'll be different this time.

Let's settle it here and now.

What are you doing?

Who are you?

Stop!

Let go of me!

Park Il Do!

Park Il Do.

Take this jerk to the police.

Park Il Do.

Park Il Do!

He's just like how you were 20 years ago.

They wanted me to kill them.

They said someone would protect me.

Who?

Park Il Do.

So you think I'm Park Il Do?

What's going on? She's never met Park Hong Joo.

I'm sure they're related somehow.

Is Park Hong Joo really Park Il Do?
