Whoo!
[cheering and applause continue]
I think we done went to church a whole day early.
[audience cheering]
It's the pre-game, it's the pre-game. [laughing]
So, uh, speaking of how great,
we are all extraordinarily blessed on this stage
because we get to live out our dreams, um, on a regular basis.
I mean, this is really cool.
We all grew up, like, playing music, singing music,
um, just feeling it in a certain way
and praying, and hoping, and working hard.
Uh, praying that we were gonna get someplace like this someday.
And it's amazing when I look back over the past 20 years of my life,
how God opened doors for me
that were so not of my-- my doing at all.
I decided to go try out for American Idol one day.
[cheering and applause]
And my life went from this path to, like, this path...
[laughing] ...in the blink of an eye.
And that's only God.
Um, and now, 20 years later, I get to be a judge
- on the same show that put me here. - [audience cheering]
And I still get people every single day telling me,
"I voted for you, I voted for you."
Thank you, thank you, thank you,
thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- [scattered cheers] - So, we know we're blessed.
And, uh, many years ago, we said,
"What can we do as we go out living our dreams?"
So, we decided we wanted to partner up
with really incredible organizations.
And, uh, we started doing, like, entire tours with this one organization.
And we would donate money
just as we went to these organizations.
And for the Reflection show, we decided that we wanted
to work with the Make-A-Wish foundation.
[cheering and applause]
Because they make dreams come true for children
who desperately need it, who are going through
some of the hardest times any of us could ever imagine.
So, for every single person in every single seat
during all of these shows, that represents a dollar
that is going to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
So, thank you
- for being a part of that. - [cheering and applause]
Now, I have a question for all of you.
Do we have any all-American girls in this audience tonight?
[cheering and applause]
I knew we did!
