- Well, it's this romance novel about this guy from

Latin America, and he, like, just decides to go

to Europe one day, because he's, you know, looking for

someone to fall in love with.

- And basically, he just meets this, like, wonderful girl

over there, and they don't even speak the same language,

but they somehow fall in love, just by like, vibes.

- Right.

- And just being like, - Like charades at first.

- Asherades at first, yeah. - Yeah, it's really cool,

because there's a narrow language they speak,

it's like how they feel about each other,

- And that also makes it like, beautiful.

- So yeah, it's like, that's like what true love is.

Like, it doesn't even have to be with words,

like they're just hanging out and talking.

Like he said, charades at first,

but that's what makes it fun.

It's like, love should be fun, and you shouldn't be so like--

- Exactly, and it wasn't like just about the love either,

like that story was crazy.

There's so many things, there was like talking animals?

Yeah, talking animals. - Oh, really?

- That's what made it like, what?

- You know, that's what makes it a little fantasy,

but also an alien too, the great aliens that came in.

Literally-- - It's wild, there was this whole like,

plot point where like the girl he was talking to,

she almost fell in love with the aliens,

and he had to get her back through,

because no one spoke the same language.

- Exactly, and she was vibing with the aliens

a little bit more than with the Latin American man.

- Oh, right. - And she'd get in the eyes that like,

all it is is superficial.

- Right, it was superficial. - It was superficial

with the aliens, like that's not true love.

- No, it wasn't, it wasn't. - It's not.

- It was so beautiful. - It was beautiful.

- They had like the best story with like,

they tried each other's food, which was super awesome.

They tried each other's like, clothing,

which was super awesome.

- No, no, the girl in the Latin American.

They see, finish, they haunt.

- I've got like three fourths of the way, for real.

- Okay, yes, it was like, I don't know.

The aliens were basically like--

- They were a big side story.

- I feel like they took too much time.

- There's a lot of jealousy,

and I think that's kind of, you know, because like, okay,

these aliens are like, attracted to human in some sense,

but it's like, human love is what makes it better.

Europe, like France and Belgium.

- Oh wow. - Yeah.

- You met her in Belgium.

- Yeah, but she was originally from Czechoslovakia.

She would have never thought it.

- But she wasn't even looking for love, was the thing.

- Yeah, it was super romantic, I mean, of course,

a little bit with the jealousy,

but that's what makes it kind of hot, you know?

- I think they were trying to say that, like,

the kind of just, what matters is like the vibes.

to start putting, like, different type of ecosystems

out here. - Right.

- So basically, we started off with the main guy,

and it was basically, you know,

he was on every single dating app that didn't work,

and basically realized that like,

okay, there has to be something more than just,

like, you know, this. (laughs)

Which is true, it's like, wow,

we're in a modern, technology society,

and you see his problem was,

he just wanted like a blonde hair blue-eyed girl,

and he was Latin American.

So on a dating app, he was filled with Latin American women.

He likes that, don't he? - Right, so, that makes sense.

- So that's why you had to go to Europe.

- Oh, so then, then he did all right over there?

- Right, and yes, so, yeah, he really did.

- Yeah. - And he tried his hardest

not to use, you know, the apps and stuff,

but he actually went to go, - Right.

- Interact with the girls, so I'm like,

okay, let's get away from the apps,

get away from texting,

and it's actually going around.

He went to a coffee shop, and like,

luckily his first coffee shop,

he actually had luck there, and found her,

and I'm like, okay, cool. - Oh.

- Yeah, she was the barista. (laughs)

- Really? - Yeah.

- It was adorable, actually.

- Yeah, it was like the perfect love story, you know?

- I know. - It was just,

he didn't have to try hard,

like he did in Latin America,

like he just went over there, they,

didn't instantly click, that's what makes it kind of funny.

- Because you would think, oh,

she's never been with the Latin,

a Latin American man, he's never been with a European woman,

so it was something that,

- She was hesitant because of that, really.

- Exactly, 'cause you don't see Latin America,

many people were there in Europe, so she was like,

at first, you know, the first week of him coming every day

at 3 p.m. is what kind of caught her eye,

'cause she kind of rejected him at first.

- Yeah, and her family, you know, they're Eastern European,

they weren't having it, you know?

- Yeah.

- There were some elements of racism, too.

- Oh, wow. - Yeah.

- I mean, I could see that, I guess.

- Yeah. - Yeah.

In some sense, with her family, but she is, so she was--

- But she wasn't, she was very open and accepting.

- Yeah, very accepting. - Yeah, and she knew it.

- The consistency of a man trying, you know,

every day at 3 p.m., and she'd checked that, like,

wow, he's really here at 3 p.m. - Right, on the gun.

- Every time, didn't have a question. - Really?

- And that was like, wow, he really cares about this girl.

She kind of realized, well, he really cares about me, you know?

- Right. - Because, hey,

you're visiting me at work, doesn't have to be, like,

anything special, like, you don't have to go on the most

expensive date to get to know me, or the most, like--

- No, just have the, just try to arc, you know?

- Just try, like, put effort-- - Effort, effort,

- For the best to see. - Exactly.

That's what makes it, like, so beautiful.

You know, rejection at first, but then she realized,

okay, the weekend's going on, this little day,

trying to, like, go out and go with him,

because she wanted to go to that one party.

What, what, when I was already, I don't remember.

- She went, she didn't want to go alone, though,

that's why. - Exactly.

- She didn't want to go alone. - Yeah.

- Because your opinion parties go up so crazy.

- So hot. - She was gone.

- She wasn't trying to do that by herself.

- Right. - And, like,

that's what makes it so, like, masculine, like,

oh, he wants to protect her at this party, right?

- Right, and then she, you know, she really appreciated that.

- She did, she really did.

I mean that's so cute, you know?

- Oh, that's so cute.

- Like, imagine having a man just, like,

try for you every day at 3 PM.

- I can't even. - Like, I can't even, either.

I love romance novels.

- And was she, like, going out,

were they going out on other dates at the same time,

or not really?

- No, they only went, like, basically on that one party day

and they fell in love, 'cause she wasn't really into him.

That's why he would come every day to be like,

"Hey, let's try, let's, like, you know, I'm funny,

"I'm cool, I'm different than these other European guys.

"I protect my woman," you know?

Like, you know, something like,

trying to be some kind of macho man.

She's not used to that, so.

- Right. - Yeah, that was, like,

their date where he showed his, his protections for her

and kind of, like, felt for him after that.

'Cause like I said, those parties feel wild and, you know,

they have, like, real life, like, he's really, he's like,

"Wow, having a man just protected through a party,

"or at the coffee shop, you know?

"Like, it's just so good."

- Yeah. - Yeah.

- Sometimes I get it.

- You know, like, like the aliens were at that party,

and it was something that was, you know, kind of a distraction.

- Yeah. - But it's like,

she really, he really showed off for her.

they want you to be in text from back.

He didn't realize that until, you know, Latin American guy came in and was like, "Wow. This is great."

And so, really, he helped kind of their whole community because the rich girl's father was then kinder

to the migrant workers. - That's true.

- So that kind of worked out. - That kind of worked out for everyone.

- Right. - It was really a super feel-good story.

- Yeah. - Feel-good story is a good one. Yeah.

- And then how did he... was he, like, some extravagant proposal?

- There was. Yeah. Do you remember the proposal scene?

- I mean, what to say, it was pretty well-deserving.

You know what I'm saying? Like, it was something at her job.

And then he, like, just fell down to his knees and started crying.
