=Stolen Love (Special Edition)=

=Episode 8=

Mother, you've been ill for a few days.

Maybe I should ask Yanyu to summon Doctor Chen.

It's because of my anxiety.

If you really care about me,

why don't you help me solve the problem?

Mother, please make it clear.

His Majesty wants an explanation of the military rations.

Now that you're in charge of the granary,

I'll leave it to you.

Lady Lin didn't want to cooperate.

I've made up my mind.

I'll give you all the account books.

(Zhou's Granary)

But Mother,

I just took over the granary.

I still have a lot to learn.

Just do whatever

you think it's right.

(Zhou's Granary)

(Zhou Family Ancestral Hall) Lady Zhou.

(Seven Years Ago) His Majesty favors our family more,

but why are they more powerful?

You don't know?

Their servants and followers are everywhere,

which means

half of the ministers are related to the Zhou Family.

And they have 72 rich merchants.

It's said

most of the military rations

are from the Zhou Family.

They're so powerful, right?

Of course.

Otherwise, why would my aunt

risk her life to become the lady in charge?

But listen.

The Zhous store grains,

and I lead the army.

Their granaries serve me.

(Zhou's Granary)

(Accountant, Lin Hui)

Lady Lin signed all the papers.

She's so greedy.

Every grain transaction

must be approved by the lady in charge.

Lady Zhou is using this

to turn Lady Lin and me against each other

and protect herself.

What should we do?

We'll use this opportunity

to take Lady Lin down first.

Cuixi,

guard the door.

Don't let anyone in.

(Even with the solid evidence of the embezzlement,)

(I still can't take down Lady Zhou and His Highness.)

(I have to become the lady in charge)

(and get the scroll in the secret room.)

(Proposal Letter)

What do you want? Who are you?

Move!

What are you doing?

Generals,

why did you

break in?

Her Highness ordered us

the search your room.

Go.

(They can take the account books,)

(but if they find our marriage letters...)

Did Her Highness get jealous

because Xiao Chuyi

still loves me

and want to get revenge?

You don't deserve it.

If Her Highness wasn't jealous,

why would she want to search my place?

- Get off me! - Answer me!

Get off me!

The evidence

is not in the room.

Did you hide it in your clothes?

Yes.

We haven't searched her body.

Do it.

Get off me!

- Stop! - My Lady!

My Lady!

You can't do this!

Get off me!

My Lady!

(Zhou's Mansion)

You knew I only wanted to fight

instead of marrying Hexi's prince like my sister,

so you agreed to marry me.

You helped me.

Now I'm helping you to move on.

After all, she's the Grand Tutor's wife.

How can you search her bedroom

like this?

Why are you always hesitating when investigating cases?

Get off me!

Get off me!

Get off me!

What are you doing?

Idiots!

I asked you to search her room

instead of being hooligans!

- She hampered us... - Get out!

General, for the sake of our history,

please stop.

Please

stop thinking about revenge.

Even if you succeed,

will everything go back to normal?

Will your parents come back to life?

What about the victims of the Zhou Family?

Why do I have to care about them?

Then...

My mother,

the woman who gave you a family name

and a home,

deserved to be killed by the Zhous?

I'll pay back what I owe her

in the next life.

Yunxi,

it's my fault.

Your Highness, we're in different positions.

You don't need to apologize.

Come on. Let's eat.

There are more thrilling things.

In Wujiang,

Yi led 8000 best soldiers all the way

to the court,

and my troops

avoided their blockades,

delivered the grains and supplies,

captured the king of Wujiang alive, and

avenged the brothers died in battle.

Yunxi?

You're overthinking it.

Overthinking it?

General Xiao saved you,

and you saved him.

You've been through

life and death together

all these years.

Your connection

is much stronger than what we had back then.

Yunxi.

If you know what's good for him,

I'll be frank with you.

The Crown Prince has held grudges against Yi.

If he takes the throne,

he'll have mercy on Prince Su

for the sake of brotherhood.

However, Yi is an outsider.

I can protect him.

I can take him away from here,

and my brother won't hurt him.

Your Highness, you're right.

You're a noble

princess

who's loved by His Majesty.

And I'm just

a humble woman.

I'm really grateful to have joined

the Zhou Family.

♪Flowers bloom and fall♪

It seems what General Xiao

and I had

was just stupid puppy love.

♪Keep a piece of peach blossom to remember the past and say goodbye♪

♪But I still miss you with tears in my eyes♪

Lu Yunxi.

What did you tell Her Highness?

Listen,

if you dare to set me up,

my father will make you suffer!

Stop!

Mom!

Aunt.

What are you doing?

Well,

a leaf fell on her head,

and I was helping her.

Che, I bought a burr puzzle for you.

Go back to your room.

No, I want to go to Aunt's room.

Aunt,

do you have chestnut cakes?

The kitchen has made a lot of cakes.

Come back in an hour.

Come on.

Only two cakes today.

Can't I have one more cake?

Half a cake.

No more negotiations.

Aunt, you're the best.

Che, did you do well in class?

Not really.

(Pavilion Above the Clouds)

(Pavilion Above the Clouds)

- Brat. - Put me down!

You broke my window again.

Bad Uncle,

you bullied my mom first.

Give me five years,

and I'll definitely beat you.

Five years?

I'll be 10 years old then.

I'll be taller

and stronger than you.

The remnants of the poison

have infected your organs.

It's killing you.

How many years do I have?

Less than five years.

Okay.

It's a deal.

I'll wait for five years.

Don't forget

to keep your promise

and protect your mother.

Of course.

(Yun used this to hide things when she was young.)

(Account Books)

I don't remember I put it in.

Brat,

do you know where I can find more burr puzzles?

My mom put some in my room.

Show me.

Okay.

Let's go.

Brat, here you are.

This is outrageous.

I can't believe they embezzled nearly a million dan grains.

That's the rations for the frontline soldiers for nearly a season.

If I didn't see the account books of Zhou's Granary

and the merchants,

I wouldn't believe it.

(Lin Hui)

I'll arrest the merchants and Lady Lin.

Don't alert them.

Let me check the accounts.

We still can't eradicate

the Zhous with the evidence.

When we had no evidence,

you were so anxious.

Now we've got it,

but you're so hesitant.

What are you

worried about?

We have to take them down

once and for all.

Okay.

I'll dig into it.

Yi,

I got involved in the political in-fighting

to investigate this case for the frontline soldiers.

If your past relationship

affects your judgement,

I'll never forgive you

or have mercy on Lady Lu.

(Zhou's Gufeng Granary)

My Lady,

how can you stay calm?

After Lady Lin was arrested,

Lord Lin wanted to impeach you.

If His Majesty says no,

he'll kill himself!

His Majesty ordered them to shut down all our stores!

We're innocent!

We're innocent!

I'm innocent!

What's going on?

Why did you arrest the merchants?

Xiao Chuyi!

Why didn't you tell me you got solid evidence?

Something's wrong with it.

It came out of nowhere.

If it's a trap,

we'll be doomed.

Brother,

I've interrogated all the merchants.

Lady Lin is the contact person.

We can't wait.

I'll convict Lady Lin now.

Didn't I tell you

not to alert them?

You're being too cautious.

It's not like you.

Besides, we're not arresting Lu Yunxi.

This is very important.

Let's forget about the Zhous.

Will Grand Censor Lin Cheng,

Lady Lin's father,

go easy on us?

Why are you

afraid of them?

We're abiding by the law.

The first person they'll deal with

is Lu Yunxi, the person who leaked the books.

No more words.

I know

you love Lu Yunxi,

and I promised

to protect her.

However, can't you see what's going on?

Liuyun and you are engaged.

Your Highness, please stop.

You know I won't let the soldiers down.

After all, Lu Yunxi is my woman.

Even if she has to die,

only I can be the executioner.

(Zhou's Gufeng Granary)

The emperor decrees

that Lady Lu failed to manage the family.

She shall be slapped 20 times

to set an example.

End of the decree.

(Lin Cheng, Grand Censor)

My Lord.

I've bought off the jailers.

They won't hurt Lady Lin.

I had Hui at the age of 40.

She's my baby girl.

How dare a woman who married twice

shift the blame onto her?

I'll let her know

what it's like to lose her child.

Find a way to kidnap Zhou Che.

Young Lord Che,

don't run around.

Sister Cuixi,

why doesn't Mother allow me to visit Aunt

or go to class?

Did something bad happen?

Well...

Young Lord Che!

If the Zhou Family falls,

will we be sold to others?

Who knows?

Lady Lin was arrested,

and Lady Lu was...

What did you say about my mom?

I didn't say anything.

Tell me!

Our stores were shut down.

We don't know if Lady Lu can come back.

What should we do?

Young Lord Che!

Let's go.

Young Lord Che!

Yunxi,

I'll make him pay.

It's okay.

Lord Lin just wanted to take it out on me.

My Lady!

My Lady!

Our maids were talking nonsense,

and Young Lord Che heard you were in trouble

and ran out!

Search the entire city.

If anything happens to him,

I'll sell all of you!

- Aye. - Aye.

(Zhou's Gufeng Granary)

I can't believe

their business is this big.

Lady Lu just took over the granary,

and this happened.

What a hoodoo.

- Why did you kick me? - I didn't.

- It was you. - I didn't.

You kicked me.

- I didn't do it. - Stop.

(Zhou's Gufeng Granary) Stop.

Close the door.

Mother, don't be afraid. I'll save you.

Did you see a kid about this tall?

No idea.

Excuse me...

Che!

Lady Lu!

Someone saw Young Lord Che enter the granary!

You can't go in!

My son is inside.

No one can go in without

His Majesty's permission.

My son is really inside!

Could you please let me in?

You can't!

I'll be very quick.

One minute, okay?

- I'm Grand Tutor. - Let me in.

My son will be the heir of the Zhou Family.

If anything happens, will you be responsible?

I'll explain it to His Majesty later.

Che!

Che!

Che!

It's me, Che!

Che!

Che!

Che...

If you dare to set me up,

my father will make you suffer!

Go back.

General.

Lady Lin has nothing to do

with the embezzlement.

It's all my fault!

Please release Lady Lin!

General Xiao!

Lady Lin has nothing to do with the embezzlement.

It's all my fault!

Please release Lady Lin!

General.

Lady Lin has nothing to do with it.

It's all my fault!

Please release Lady Lin!

Lady Lu,

we've got the solid evidence.

What do you mean?

I framed Lady Lin.

I'll be responsible for this.

Lu Yunxi,

do you really know the consequences?

I'll bear

all the consequences!

- Xu Da. - Aye.

Lady Lu is ill.

Take her back.

Aye.

Chuyi, please...

I'm begging you!

Che is missing!

I have no choice!

What happened to Che?

Lin Cheng...

Lin Cheng took him away!

I can't find him!

Chuyi!

He's my everything!

I can give up everything,

but I can't lose him!

Chuyi!

Help me!

Please!

Please arrest me, okay?

Go.

General Xiao.

What are you doing?

Xiao Chuyi,

I've served two emperors

and made great contributions.

You...

Go.

Where's Zhou Che?

Xiao Chuyi,

you kidnapped an imperial official.

How dare you ignore His Majesty

and the law?

Where's Zhou Che?

General,

is this for the woman who remarried?

She endured 20 slaps.

Do you think I'll go easy on you?

Where's Zhou Che?

General!

His Highness and Her Highness are here.

Brother.

Xiao Chuyi,

you kidnapped Lord Lin in public.

This is nonsense!

Father has found out.

He needs an explanation.

Yi, please release Lord Lin.

My father has sent

the imperial guard

to look for Che.

Our investigation is still underway.

Lord Lin is Lin Hui's father.

I just need to ask him some questions.

I'll report it to His Majesty.

Do you think my father would believe this nonsense?

I know you're blaming me for arresting Lady Lin

and making trouble,

but you can't give up your career

for Lu Yunxi.

I know how to deal with

my relationship with her.

Xu Da.

See them off.

Liuyun.

Yi is too impulsive.

If he doesn't change,

he'll cause big trouble.

Look,

I'll talk to Father,

and you'll talk to Lu Yunxi.

Lu Yunxi?

She started it.

Only she can solve it.

They say punishments are not for nobles.

You civil officials

have never left the capital.

You make decisions as you please,

and the frontline soldiers will pay with their lives.

You've never been tortured before, have you?
